Abstract

The panel (1) has a core made of a wooden material such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) or high density fiberboard (HDF) or a mixture of wood and plastic. A pattern is applied on a visible side of the panel. A chamfer (8) is provided at a side edge of the visible side. The chamfer exhibits specific length and runs in a specified angle. The angle of one of the chamfers is varied over the length.

Description

The invention relates to a panel, in particular floor panel, with a core of a wood material, in particular MDF or HDF, or of a wood material-plastic mixture and arranged on a visible side decor, the visible side on at least one side edge with an angle α provided for this chamfer is provided.

Such a panel is for example from the DE 203 15 676 U1 or the DE 10 256 501 A known.

In these panels, the decor is either printed directly on the top of the panels or applied to a paper web which is pressed together with a synthetic resin layer on the visible side of the panel. The chamfer is created by milling the side edge. Subsequently, a corresponding decorative strip is glued to the bevel or printed the decor in transfer printing on the visible side. In particular, when the floor panel has a wood look, so the decor is provided with a structure (color differences), which corresponds to the grain of real wood, is often embossed in the resin layer covering the decorative layer, a relief that caused by the resulting recesses or Raises to emphasize the real wood character.

Compared to real wood panels, these so-called laminate panels offer the advantage that they are harder, more resilient, easier to handle, easier to care for, more versatile and more versatile. In order to increase consumer acceptance, an attempt is made to match the look and feel of the panel to a real wood panel as realistically as possible. The chamfer milled on the side edges forms a V-groove between two interconnected panels, which reproduces a faithful joint appearance.

The invention has the object of developing the known panel so that the area designed with the panels surface is visually and haptically closer to one of natural materials (real wood, terracotta, stone). To solve the problem, the generic panel is characterized in that the angle α of at least one chamfer varies over the length.

By this embodiment, an irregularly wide chamfer is generated, which forms a V-joint in interconnected panels, which emulates an age structure through the irregular top, as it occurs through years of use resulting wear and tear of panels made of natural materials.

It is advantageous if the chamfers are provided with a decor.

Preferably, a relief is embossed in the surface of the chamfers, so that the look and feel of the joint is adapted to the top of the plate.

The decor is preferably printed directly on the visible side of the plate and / or the chamfer. As a result, the decor paper or the carrier layer necessary for the transfer printing is saved, as a result of which the production costs are reduced. In addition, can be dispensed with the application of a synthetic resin layer by such a configuration initially. In conventional panels, corundum particles are incorporated in the synthetic resin layer, which is usually a melamine resin impregnated paper, to increase the abrasion resistance. These corundum particles lead to high tool wear. Due to the immediate printing of the decoration on the plate, a melamine resin may optionally be applied or sprayed or folded in several layers on the upper side of the plate, including the chamfer, that the relief is impressed after its curing.

A method for producing the panel with the different chamfer angle is characterized by the fact that the panel is guided with its side edge of an oscillating machining tool. In this case, the machining tool preferably oscillates about an axis parallel to the transport direction of the panel.

If a laser is used as the machining tool, machining is carried out wear-free. It is also advantageous that the control of a laser cutter is simple and no cutting forces acting on the panel.

With the help of a drawing, the invention will be explained in more detail below:

The core 3 of the panel 1 consists of a wood material, in particular MDF or HDF, a wood material-plastic mixture or a pure plastic mixture. On its visible side, the panel 1 is provided with a decor 2. At the opposite side edges I, II, the panel 1, a spring 4 and a groove 5 corresponding thereto. Spring 4 and groove 5 are provided with locking means 6, 7, via the two interconnected panels 1, 1 a, 1 b can be locked to each other, so that they can be laid without glue. Such panels are called Designated click panels.

At the opposite side edges I, II, the panel 1 is provided with a chamfer 8, 9, which is realized over the length L of the panel 1 at different angles α, (α 1 , (α i) of less than 1 ° to 75 ° Size of the angle α, (α 1 , (α i , does not vary steadily, but arbitrarily, wherein the size of the angle α, α 1 , (α i , the length L 1 of the area of the chamfer 8, 9, in a constant angle (α 1 trained area will be determined iteratively in order to obtain as natural as possible "worn" V-joint.For this purpose, for example, the joint of the corresponding signs of wear having floor measured from real wood panels and the angles and lengths are transmitted accordingly.

As FIG. 2 can be seen, the width B of the chamfers 8, 9 and the width of the V-groove 19 by the changing angle α, α 1 , α i over the length L of the panel 1, 1 a, 1 b different. The chamfers 8, 9 may be flat or convex or concave. The angles α, α 1 , α i vary in the range of 15 ° - 89 °. Optically attractive joints can be produced with angles α between 37 ° and 42 ° of the chamfers 8, 9.

The lower edge 10, 11 of the chamfers 8, 9 extends, with respect to the visible side, straight, so that it is ensured that a tight connection of two panels 1a, 1b, 1 c is ensured and can penetrate through the butt joint no moisture. The chamfers 8, 9 are painted or coated with a melamine resin. The decor of the chamfer 8, 9 is adapted to the decor 2 on the visible side.

By means of a mounted on a CNC support 12 laser cutting head 13, which is connected to a light guide to the beam source, the most different bevel geometries can be produced.

As FIG. 6 illustrates, the panel 1 to be processed is guided in a so-called double end tenoner 15 and transported by this in the transport direction T. In this case, the panel 1 comes with its top and / or its underside with a chain-shaped - not shown here - conveyor in contact, which promotes the panel 1 along its direction of movement T. Panel 1 passes through various processing stations. In the processing stations, the projecting from the conveyor 15 side edges of the panel 1 are mainly machined. For example, the spring 4 and the groove 6 are milled. In order to increase the precision in the processing, the panel 1 is passed between two metal plates 16, 17 and fixed by means of pressure shoes. Finally, the panel 1 is guided past the laser 13, which oscillates in the direction S about the axis 14 extending parallel to the transport direction T. So that the lower edge 10, 11 of the chamfers 8, 9 remains constant, the CNC support 12 swings up and down depending on the laser oscillation S. The frequency of the oscillation of the laser 13 is nonuniform but reproducible. Depending on the angle at which the laser 13 is at the axis 14, the angle α is generated on the panel 1. The laser beam 18 evaporates the struck material and penetrates the panel 1. The residual beam strikes a special - not shown here - radiation trap and is destroyed there.

Of course, instead of the laser 13 and conventional machining tools (router, planer) can be used. To generate the oscillatory movement of the machining tool this can be provided with an imbalance.
