Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pacifier clip with two clamping parts which can be pivoted relative to one another and which have cooperating clamping areas, the inner surfaces of the clamping areas facing one another lying against one another in a closed clamping position of the pacifier clip.
  • Brackets or clips for attaching pacifier straps or the like. on clothes of a toddler or on other objects e.g. a stroller element are already known, cf. AT pattern No. 11639, and also available on the market.
  • the known pacifier clip consist essentially of a U-profile made of a relatively hard plastic material, which consequently leaves pressure marks on the child's clothing to which the clip was attached.
  • a clamp can only be attached to hard objects, for example a pram element, with an unsatisfactory hold.
  • pacifier clip is known from US 5,948,003 A; the clamping parts are held in their closed position by means of a leg spring. At the same time, this clip can be used as a cover or protective element for the pacifier.
  • This clip also consists of a relatively hard plastic material, so that pressure marks are caused on items of clothing or an attachment to hard objects is not possible with a satisfactory hold.
  • DE 23 64 839 B2 also shows a different type of clamp with two clamping plates, each of which has a clamping jaw at its ends, which consists of a flexible cushion with a tooth profile.
  • this clamp however, two separate clamping plates are provided, with a swivel bracket being integrally formed on the first clamping plate, the Bottom is designed as a pivot pin.
  • a clip for braces in which a leaf spring essentially designed as a U-profile carries two clamping jaws made of a handy, relatively soft rubber material.
  • the leaf spring has a pretension so that the suspenders clip is in its closed position in an unloaded position and can be transferred to an open position by means of a cam.
  • the surface of at least one clamping region consists at least partially of a material which has a lower hardness than the material of the clamping parts, that the clamping parts are formed by the legs of a U-profile, the Vertex is provided as a pivot axis or area for the clamping parts, and that the clamping areas of the pacifier clip are spaced apart from one another in their relaxed open position.
  • the material of lower hardness has a higher coefficient of friction, so that there is an improved friction, ie non-positive connection and also reliably holds the clip on smooth and thin fabrics.
  • the clip can also be reliably attached to hard objects, for example on the side wall of a stroller or the like, without the clip being able to be pulled down from the attachment object by the weight of the pacifier. It also results from the design of the clamping parts as legs of a U-profile, the clamping areas being spaced apart from one another in a relaxed open position of the U-profile, a particularly simple handling when applying the pacifier clip.
  • a simple and inexpensive production of a clamping area with a comparatively soft surface can be achieved if at least one clamping area is at least partially formed by a coating of the material of lower hardness.
  • a tooth profile is provided in each of the clamping areas, and the tooth profiles engage in one another in the clamping position, at least one tooth profile consisting of the material of lower hardness.
  • the clamp can be closed in a simple, user-friendly manner by moving the clamp in the direction of the freely projecting ends of the clamp parts.
  • a reliable clamp connection of the clamp if at least one clamp part has at least one wedge-shaped web on the outside, which widened towards the free end of the clamp part, and which consists of the same material as the U-profile, with the wedge shape of the web fastening the Clip on objects of different thickness can be secured.
  • the wedge-shaped web (s) has or have a profiled surface.
  • the clamping parts consist of hard plastic, for example polycarbonate
  • the clamping parts have sufficient strength so that an unwanted yielding of the clamping parts and thus loosening of the clamp can be avoided.

  • a tab or a sleeve 4 which is shown in its open position pushed back in FIG. 1, the two clamping regions 3, 3 'can be brought closer to one another and thus a clamping attachment of the clip 1 to various objects, for example items of clothing, of the side wall or the cover of a stroller or the like. , can be obtained.
  • the one clamping part 2 has two wedge-shaped webs 5 which have a profile or toothing on their surface 5 ′ which engages with the tab 4, so that an unwanted slipping back into the position shown in Fig. 1 is avoided.
  • the mutually facing surfaces 6, 6' each have a tooth profile 7, 7 ', so that when a thin piece of clothing is clamped in, a slightly positive connection and thus an improved hold of the clip 1 is obtained.
  • the clamp 1 essentially consists of a U-profile 8 (cf. also FIG. 3), an apex 8 'of the U-profile 8 forming a swivel range for the two clamping parts 2, 2'.
  • a fastening tab 9 is also provided in the apex 8 ', i.e. molded in one piece, via which a pacifier strap 10 is connected to the clip 1.
  • a covering 11 made of a soft material is provided in a clamping area 3 'and has a lower hardness than that of the integrally formed U-profile 8.
  • the coating 11, e.g. consists of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), has a lower hardness than the material of the U-profile 8, which is made of polycarbonate, for example, so that the coating 11 has a certain degree of flexibility in the clamping position, as a result of which undesirable impressions of the tooth profiles 7, 7 ', for example on a piece of clothing, can be avoided.
  • TPE thermoplastic elastomer
  • the cover 11 also encompasses a narrow edge 12 of the clamping part 2 ' in the clamping area 3 ', so that a reliable positive connection of the different materials of the coating 11 and the clamping part 2' is guaranteed.
  • the soft material of the cover 11 not only has the advantage that undesired impressions on articles of clothing can be avoided, but it can also reliably fasten the clip 1 on a wide variety of smooth and hard materials, in particular on different parts of a stroller or baby chair, can be obtained because the coating 11 adheres well to such materials and thus an unwanted loosening of the clip 1 can be prevented.
  • the U-profile 8 has brake hooks 13 on the inside, adjoining the apex 8 ′, which prevent the tab 4 from accidentally sliding off the U-profile 8.
  • clamping areas 3, 3 ' are oval in plan view, but the clamping areas 3, 3' can of course also be different from the ones shown, e.g. rectangular or semicircular.
  • both clamping parts 2, 2 1 can also have a soft covering 11, in which case the tooth profiles 7, 7 'can be omitted in particular, since, due to the increased coefficient of friction of the coatings 11, the clamp 1 adheres reliably to the fastening object.
