Definitions

  • the invention relates to a heddle according to claim 1, a method for producing a heddle according to claim 13, and the use of a blank for producing a heddle according to claim 15.
  • Healds in weaving machines have the task of raising and lowering warp threads that run through the Litzenstoffaugen to shedding.
  • heddles made of yarn, metal and plastic are known.
  • metallic healds the thread eye is formed either by piercing a brazed double wire or by punching from a flat rolled round wire or a broadband.
  • the opening formed by piercing or punching or eyelet forms a thread eye through which the warp thread is guided.
  • the thread eye is exposed to high mechanical stress due to the continuous warp thread. It must be as low-wear as possible and must not rub the passing warp thread.
  • an additional thread eye is often soldered into the eyelet, which is also referred to as Maillon.
  • the requirements for a high mechanical strength are most likely met by healds, which are made of metal, at least in the area of the thread eye.
  • the resulting slot also has sharp edges that make an additional thread eye indispensable, but make its insertion difficult.
  • the widening of the slot in the band-shaped, in profile rectangular steel band to an eyelet can also lead to overuse of the material, in particular in the region of the slot ends.
  • DE 214133 discloses a strand made of a framework wire having an oblong oval cross-section constricted at the center. The wire is split in the middle and soldered a Maillon.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a heald available in which the above-mentioned problems of the prior art are avoided.
  • the heddle should be particularly low-effort and environmentally friendly to produce.
  • the object is achieved by a heddle with the features of claim 1.
  • the object is further achieved by a method for producing a heddle with the features of claim 13, and by use of a blank for producing a heald with the features of claim 15.
  • a one-piece blank which has a profile which has at least two thickenings and a narrow point arranged therebetween.
  • the profile of the blank has the shape of a triangle in the region of the narrow point with a rounded or flattened tip and with an opening angle between 20 and 120 °.
  • the thickness d 2 of the blank in the region of the narrow point is preferably between 0.02 and 0.2 mm.
  • the thickness d 1 in the region of the thickenings is preferably 2 to 8 times the thickness d 2 and is preferably between 0.3 and 1.2 mm.
  • the width b 1 of the blank is preferably between 0.5 and 3.0 mm.
  • the blank is in particular an endless belt, which has the profile described over the entire length of the tape. He is referred to below as a splittable profile wire.
  • the inventive heald the blank is separated along the narrow point in a region of a predetermined length into two single strands and widened to form an eyelet.
  • healds of different lengths and different ⁇ sengrösse.
  • the piercing or cutting a slot for the production of the eyelet is possible with little effort.
  • the individual strands in the region of the slot have substantially rounded edges.
  • the resulting eyelet can thus be prepared in a simple manner for receiving the warp thread.
  • the separation to form a slot and the widening of the slot can be done in one operation in a common processing station.
  • the blank is a one-piece, profiled, splittable wire.
  • This is preferably produced by rolling, drawing or cutting. It preferably consists of spring-hard inox material or cold-drawn spring steel. Its strength is 900 to 2500 N / mm 2 , preferably 1100 to 1500 N / mm 2 . Due to this high tensile strength, the necessary stability and fatigue strength of the inventive heddle is guaranteed. The strength is chosen depending on the material so that the profile can be split and widened without tearing open the entire length of the strand. The elongation at break is chosen so that the molding of end eyelets is possible.
  • the heald for attachment in the harness straight ends for a hose attachment or molded end eyelets.
  • These are realized by appropriate material conversion, end splitting or additional attachment of thread eyes.
  • the flared eyelet can be used directly as a thread eye.
  • an additional thread eye is preferably inserted into the eyelet.
  • This preferably has an increased wear resistance than the blank itself and preferably also a correspondingly prepared surface, which is polished, for example.
  • this additional thread eye along its outer contour has a notch, which is adapted to the shape of the individual strands.
  • the additional thread eye can be positively inserted into the eyelet, so that in principle no further fastening means are more necessary.
  • the manufacturing process is thereby simplified over known methods in which the thread eye is soldered.
  • the additional thread eye can also be attached by gluing, brazing, soldering, foil soldering, laser welding, pressure welding, ultrasonic welding or embossing in the eyelet.
  • the split location i. the eyelet mechanically or chemically polished.
  • the eyelet mechanically or chemically polished.
  • An additionally inserted thread eye preferably has a correspondingly polished surface.
  • the profile of the blank is preferably substantially dumbbell, double lobe or eight shaped. As a result, an easy cleavage is realized.
  • FIGS. 1-5 show various profile shapes of blanks which can be used to produce a heddle according to the invention. Same functional areas are designated by the same reference numerals.
  • the profile according to Fig. 1 is substantially dumbbell or 8-shaped. It is symmetrical both to a transverse axis 11 and to a central axis 12 perpendicular thereto.
  • the profile 1 has two club-like lateral thickenings 4a, 4b, between which a narrow point 2 is formed.
  • the narrow point 2 is formed during the production process of the blank in that the blank is provided over its entire length with each other mirror-symmetrical to the transverse axis 11 opposite notches 3a, 3b.
  • the blank 1 has a width b1 of 0.4 to 2.6 mm, preferably 0.6 mm. In a direction perpendicular thereto, it has a maximum thickness d1, which is about two-thirds of the width b1, here 0.4 mm.
  • the minimum thickness d2 in the region of the narrow point 2 is about one third of the width b1, here preferably 0.2 mm.
  • the profile has in the region of the thickening 4a, 4b and in the region of the notches 3a, 3b rounded shape.
  • the radius of curvature R1 of the profile in the region of the narrow point 2 is between 0.01 and 0.25 mm, preferably 0.05 mm.
  • the profile wire for the inventive production of a heald is partially separated.
  • the resulting slot is widened to an eyelet, which either itself forms the thread eye or another thread eye (Maillon) receives.
  • FIG. 2 shows a further example of a profile of a blank 1.
  • the narrow point 2 between the two thickenings 4a, 4b here has a reduced thickness d2 of about one-sixth of the width b1 of the profile compared to the example of FIG.
  • Half the opening angle ⁇ of the notches 3a, 3b is about 30 °.
  • the radius of curvature R1 of the notches 3a, 3b is about 0.05 mm.
  • FIG. 3 shows a further example of a profiled wire according to the invention with notches triangular or roof-shaped in cross-section 3a, 3b.
  • the width b1 of the profile 1 is between 0.6 and 2.6 mm and is here preferably 0.8 mm.
  • the narrow point 2 formed by the notches 3a, 3b between the two thickenings 4a and 4b consists of a substantially straight piece of material of width b2.
  • the width b2 is between 0.05 and 0.5 mm and here is 0.1 mm.
  • the thickness d2 of the narrow point 2 in a direction perpendicular thereto is preferably between 0.1 and 0.5 mm and is here, for example, 0.1 mm.
