Definitions

  • the invention relates to a strand, in particular for weaving machines.
  • Weaving looms are known per se. They usually have an elongated, formed from a sheet body, at its upper and lower end so-called end eyelets are formed, which serve for attachment to the support rail of a heald. Approximately in the middle of the strand is provided with a thread eye, which serves to guide a warp thread. By appropriate longitudinal movement of all strands is in the weaving machine the shedding effect.
  • the elongated shaft is provided at both ends with an end eye.
  • the end eyelet has a greater width than the shaft.
  • the shaft of the heald has a uniform thickness on both sides of the thread eye. Between the thread eye portion and the end portions games are provided with reduced width.
  • An essential measure for improving the strand is to install in the Endösenverjüngungs Symposium one or more openings, which occupy an increased area compared to previously known strands. It has been found that more than one-eighth of the total area of the end-eyelet taper region can be occupied by the apertures. In preferred embodiments, the apertures occupy an area which is more than one-third, preferably more than half the total area of the end-eyelet taper region. If there are several openings, the distance between them is preferably less than the length of one of the two openings. Preferably, the distance is smaller than the length of the shorter opening.
  • the weight reduction in the immediate vicinity of the end eyelet not only has a generally positive effect, but it also has a great effect on reducing wear.
  • the stability of the strand remains intact, especially in the region of its end loop.
  • the apertures may provide some resilience and thus buffering to the end-eyelet tapering region.
  • the transition region may be considered as a spring means.
  • the Endösenverjüngungsungs Committee has an arcuately curved edge whose radius is less than or equal to 60 mm. This measure reduces the area of the end loop taper region over conventional strands, which contributes to weight reduction without loss of strength.
  • the end loop of the strand is preferably formed by a mouth opening with a mouth end region whose thickness, measured in the longitudinal extent, is preferably greater than the width of the material otherwise surrounding the mouth opening. Measured in the longitudinal direction, the length of the mouth end region is preferably at most 3 mm, wherein it is again preferably greater than 2 mm to 2.5 mm. Thus, the End Harbor on a good strength at the same time low in weight.
  • the width of the Litzenschafts is preferably reduced to a maximum value of 1.6 mm for the narrowest portion thereof.
  • the Litzenschaft may have a width which is less than the width of the thread eyelet. It has been shown that the associated weight reduction compensates for the reduction of the tensile strength of the strand insofar as strand breaks decrease by 1 mm to 1.6 mm due to the reduction of their shank width, but in any case does not increase. This is achieved by the weight savings of the strands, which has a positive effect on the entire shedding system.
  • the thread eye is arranged in a thread eye region, the width of which is greater than that of the remaining strand shank, wherein the thread eye region is formed relatively short. Its length is at most five times as much as the width of the thread eye, preferably at most three times as much. This short training of the thread eye area saves considerable weight without loss of strength.
  • the thread eye region is preferably limited to a straight edge.
  • the transition to the Litzenschaft is formed by an S-shaped or arcuately curved portion, wherein the arc radii are preferably less than 60 mm. As a result, short transitions are achieved with sufficient strength.
  • a transition region is formed, which in turn is bounded parallelflankig, wherein its width is greater than the width of the narrowest part of the Litzenschafts and less than that of the thread eye region.
  • the transition area increases the dynamic strength of the Litzenschafts at the same time low weight.
  • the length of the transition region is preferably greater than that of the thread eye region.
  • FIG. 1 a heald 1 is illustrated, which is mounted vertically movable in a weaving machine. It is connected to a linear guide device 2, 3 and via a corresponding linkage with a drive device 4.
  • the heald 1 forms a frame 5, are held to the strands 6. These serve for shedding a weaving machine.
  • the strands 6 are formed equal to each other.
  • FIG. 2 a single strand 6 illustrates.
  • the strand 6 is a one-piece sheet metal part of elongated basic shape.
  • the strand 6 has at each end to a so-called End Harbor 7, 8, which is provided with an opening 9, 10, a so-called c-shaped mouth opening.
  • the mouth opening 9, 10 is bounded in each case by a straight parallel edge-like portion 11, 12, to the U-shaped extending portions 13, 14 (mouth end area).
  • the sections 13, 14 each form a mouth end region. This is outwardly, as in FIG. 2 illustrated, rounded.
  • the here running edge 15, 16 may also be formed at an obtuse angle with a straight or rounded plateau.
  • the sections 13, 14, which form the jaw end region, can be of the same or different size. At least section 14 has only a longitudinal extent A of 2.5 mm to 3 mm. Thus, a wear reserve in terms of wear within the end eyelet 7 and 8 is formed in the mouth end region.
  • an Endösenverjüngungs Sector 19, 20 connects, within which the width of the strand 6 of the greater width of the end eyelets 7, 8 passes to the smaller width of their Litzenschafts 21.
  • the end-eye rejuvenation area 19, 20, which may be formed symmetrically, preferably has arcuately formed, opposite edges 23, 24, 25, 26, whose radius is preferably at most 60 mm. In this way, in each case very short Endösenverjüngungs Schemee 19, 20 are obtained, but which are sufficiently long to sufficiently uniformly transfer the tensile and compressive forces occurring between End Harbor 7, 8 and Litzenschaft 21. In particular, local force peaks can be avoided to the extent that no breaks occur even at high dynamic loads.
  • the radii of the edges 23, 24, 25, 26 are in FIG. 2 denoted by R.
  • the width of the shaft is preferably between 1 mm and 1.6 mm.
  • the sections 27, 28 may be formed from area regions 45, 46.
  • the surface regions 45, 46 extend in the longitudinal direction of the heddle 6 from the thread eye region 29 into the region of the end eyelets 7, 8.
  • the surface areas 45, 46 are preferably approximately the same size and extend from a bending edge 44 lying approximately in the middle of the strand shank 21 to the edges 48, 49 of the sections 27, 28.
  • FIG. 7 As can be seen, the surface areas 45, 46 form an obtuse angle.
  • FIG. 8 shows another embodiment of a cross section of a strand 6 according to the invention.
  • the surface regions 48, 49 are arc-shaped.
  • FIGS. 3 and 5 show a thread eye portion 29 is formed approximately centrally of the heddle shaft 21, which is bounded by mutually parallel edges 31, 32.
  • the Thread eye area has a width of, for example, 2.4 mm, when a thread eye 33 provided here has a width of 1.2 mm.
  • the width of the thread eye portion 29 is in FIG. 2 labeled B.
  • the width B is twice the width of the thread eye.
  • Adjoining the thread eye region 29 is a transition region 34, which is delimited in a first section 35 by two mutually opposite rounded edges. Both have a radius R1 of about 60 mm or less. This is followed by a second section 36, which is bounded by mutually parallel edges. Its width is preferably about 1.8 mm. It is slightly larger than the width of the remaining portions 27, 28 of the Litzenschafts 21, but less than the width of the thread eye area.
  • the transition from the transition region 34, 36 to the section 27 or 28 is again formed by arcuate edges whose radii R 2 are preferably at most about 60 mm.
  • the section 36 preferably has a length which corresponds at most to one and a half times the length of the thread eye region 29.
  • the strand 6 described so far is largely optimized in terms of their dynamic properties. With rapid vertical movement of the heald 1, it guides the warp thread extending through the thread eye 33 even at high speeds of movement without overloading individual parts or sections. It has a low mass, which compared to conventional strands can be reduced by up to 20%. If the strands 5 of the heald frame 1 weigh about 5 kg in the case of conventional fitting, this weight can be measured with strands 5, if they are in accordance with FIG. 2 and above description are reduced to about 4 kg.
  • FIG. 3 A modified embodiment of the strand 6 is shown in FIG FIG. 3 illustrated.
  • the strand 6 according to FIG. 3 so far asymmetrical, as their thread eye 33 and their mouth openings 9, 10 are not on a common line.
  • the heddle shaft 21 including the end eye taper portions 19, 20 is not formed symmetrically to the longitudinal direction of the heddle shaft 21. From the end eyelet 7 extends a continuous straight edge 37 to the end eyelet 8.
  • the opposite edge 47 is curved in the Endösenverjüngungs Schemeen 19, 20 with a radius of 60 mm highest. This is followed by a straight section, which limits the sections 27, 28.
  • the edge then merges into section 36 in a part that is in turn straight and parallel to the edge 37.
  • the length of the thread eye region 29 is preferably less than three times the length of the elongated oval Fadenauges 33. If its length is set to 5.5 mm, the length of the thread eye portion 29 is preferably less than 10 mm.
  • 20 may be formed one or more openings.
  • a circular opening 38 and a slot-like opening 39 is provided in the end-eyelet tapering region 20 (FIG. FIG. 4 ) as in the Endösenverjüngungs Symposium 19 .
  • the opening 38 serves for threading the stranded wire 6 onto a rod, for example for transport or assembly purposes.
  • the slot-like opening 39 serves for orientation and positioning, in particular in the case of asymmetrical design of the stranded wire 6.
  • Both openings 38, 39 taken together take up a surface area which at least at least greater than one eighth of the total area of Endösenverjüngungs Kunststoffs 19 and 20 is.
  • the end-loop taper portion 20, as well as the end-loop taper portion 19, may be provided with enlarged openings 39, 38.
  • these openings 38, 39 may be formed drop-shaped.
  • the distance between the two openings 38, 39 is preferably less than the length of the slot-shaped opening 39.
  • the teardrop-shaped opening 38 may be bounded by two V-shaped aligned legs 41, 42 which are at an acute angle to each other and with a curve in the Pass section 27 of the Litzenschafts 21.
  • the two legs 41, 42 are connected by a web 43 at its upper end.
  • the web 43 forms a plant for a heddle rail.
  • the forces emanating from this are introduced by the legs 41, 42 without local voltage overshoot in the Litzenschaft 21.
  • the openings 38, 39 can reduce the rigidity and thus the natural frequency of the Endösenverjüngungs Kunststoffs 20 in the longitudinal direction of the shaft. Shank areas close to the endos can be reduced or avoided.
  • the idea according to the invention of reducing the mass by up to 20% has been described on a heald 6 having a so-called C-shaped end eyelet.
  • the mass can also be reduced in healds with J- and O-shaped end eyes, as they are known from the ISO standards 11677-2 and 11677-3.
  • the same or similar measures are implemented as described above.
  • the strand shank width is reduced and material is removed in the region of the end eyelets.
  • the narrow strand shank 21 has been extended at the expense of the end eyelets 7, 8 and the thread eye region 29. This is done on the one hand by shortening the Endösen Societye 7, 8 to its absolute minimum and on the other hand by the fact that the transport of the strands serving auxiliary openings 38 have been brought closer to the end eyelets 7, 8.
  • the radii R in the region of the end eyelets 7, 8 are reduced.
  • the Litzenschaft 21 has a maximum of 1.6 mm instead of the usual 2 mm width.
  • the strand has a width which, as before, corresponds to twice the width of the thread eye 33.
  • the length of this area is shortened to a maximum of twice to three times the yarn eye width.
  • the transition from the narrowest zone 27, 28 of the Litzenschafts 21 to the comparatively wide zone 29 around the thread eye 33 around is characterized by an elongated transition region 34 which has a maximum width of 1.8 mm and the reinforcement of this area is used against mechanical loads.
