Definitions
- the present invention relates to the preservation of leaf-shaped printing and Paper products.
- Sheet-shaped printed and paper products such.
- B. magazines, files or Certificates are deacidified for preservation by placing them in a suitable Solution dips.
- certain devices are known from DE 196 12 368 A1, US-A-5,422,147 and US-A-3,503,319.
- EP 02 73 902 A2 discloses a method in which the books with a aqueous solution of calcium hydroxide with the known method the vacuum impregnation are soaked. The treated, still wet books are snap-frozen and freeze-dried.
- Known machines of this type have a transport mechanism which with rollers or a conveyor belt photographic support through a or several baths. These baths are in tubs that with various chemicals or the like can be filled. In the photographic Range are e.g. a color-developing bath, washing bath, Bleach, fixer, stop bath; Stabilization bath provided.
- the machines can process such exposed films or papers automatically.
- photo development machines for the Paper development in action. For simpler devices, the papers have to then still watered and dried. More elaborate machines work from "dry to dry", that is, they also take over Watering and drying the material.
- an apparatus for developing photographic films or papers known (FR-A-1171758), in which the material to be treated by means of Conveyor belts and these conductive rollers through several consecutive arranged containers, which contain Engineeringshesstechniken is passed. Also in this document does not contain any indication that such a device is suitable would be, sheet-shaped printed and paper products by means of liquid-permeable Preserving walls containing cladding.
- the development machines - also called processors - have been developed in addition to a high throughput of photo paper to be developed too to obtain a uniformity in the development results. This is based on the one hand that at a given transport speed, the Einwir- kungszeit the chemicals are constant. On the other hand, many of the processors work according to the principle of regeneration. Be used chemicals constantly replaced by adding small amounts of fresh solutions. It results a high processing constancy.
- the object of the present invention is Sheet-like paper and printed products reliable and be able to quickly preserve or deacidify.
- the device used according to the invention comprises one or more containers for Picking up a solution. At least one container picks up a solution and is dimensioned so that it can at least partially accommodate the paper. He may have a trough-like shape, so that the paper easily into it in and out of it can be transported.
- a protective, liquid-permeable wrapper is for holding individual Paper sheets provided.
- the wrapping is such that the in the wrapping paper sheet is mechanically fixed. It is so not loose in the serving and can not move in the serving. This ensures that the paper can not fold and so that it is treated unevenly.
- the mechanically stable position relative to Envelope protects against mechanical damage.
- the envelope is liquid-permeable according to the invention, when liquid from all sides substantially evenly into the interior of the casing can flow. This is to ensure that the located in the enclosure Paper is soaked evenly with liquid when the serving in the bath, so enters the container with the liquid.
- Part of the device is a means of transport with which the Envelope with the paper therein is fed to the container with the solution and can be led out of this.
- This means of transport includes rollers that directly transport the wrapper. These are for example arranged at a distance one behind the other and are driven, that on and between the rotating rollers as a wrapping Protective cover acting device, such as a bag-shaped Device or bag can be transported.
- the rollers allow a continuous, easy-to-use, particularly trouble-free loading and unloading the device with the paper to be treated.
- An example of the transport is a revolving roller conveyor.
- This driven belt takes conveyor belt like the transported Pocket and guides it meandering in and out of the solution.
- the conveyor belt can also be part of the protective cladding. It is then liquid permeable obtain.
- Two bands that are pressed against each other along a stretch can be the means of transport and at the same time the protective cover. This embodiment is preferable because the paper is fed easily and quickly to the device can be.
- the bag preferably has a corresponding non-slip surface on. Rubber provides such a surface.
- a plastic bag that rolls around bends is regularly sufficiently stiff against bending, so that This does not wrap around the roller, instead of being transported by the roller. Loose wet paper can easily wrap around rollers. This is done by the Pocket avoided.
- a "bag” is a protective wrapping, by which the transport of mechanically sensitive printed matter such as paper in and out Solutions in an automatic process is made possible.
- the bag is with an opening to the paper to be preserved for transport to contribute in it. With the wrapping the paper to be preserved is before the mechanical impact protected by the rest of the transport system.
- a protective effect is particularly necessary if the transported Paper and printed products are very sensitive, in particular when they are soaked in the chemical solutions. Without the protective, stabilizing effect of the bag there is a risk that the transport system (For example, the rollers) the paper and printed products tears. With an inventive this can be avoided. additionally the wrapper prevents the paper from sticking to the rollers or the belt remains. The problem especially occurs when paper is out of the solution is soaked.
- the transport system consists of rollers, as in photo paper developing machines regular is the case, is opposed to a certain rigidity Bending of the material to be transported is required. Is that to be transported? Material too thin and or too flexible, it hangs after transport over a roller too much and so can not reach the next roller and be captured by this. By wrapping with the bag can be a such stiffness can be achieved that this sagging is avoided.
- the Stiffness should not be too high during a possible transport around curves, so that the casing can bend sufficiently to the curvature in the To be able to join the transport route.
- plastics with a Thickness of 0.1 to 1 mm as pocket material will have the desired properties achieved regularly.
- the paper or printed product is transported into a solution, which should preserve this.
- the paper In order for the preservation effect to occur, the paper must be soaked in the solution during immersion become.
- the walls of the protective cover must work Device, so for example, the two bands or the bag liquid permeable be.
- the walls are preferably designed to be net-like. This net can be woven from plastic threads or wire or from a consist of plastic sheet provided with holes. The number of holes the wall per unit area and their diameter are in particular so too choose that liquid flows through easily and evenly. simultaneously can be a drying of wet paper in the bag corresponding requirement to the diameter and their number.
- the diameter of the Holes in the net can be 0.5 to 2 cm.
- the single thread points for example a width of 1 to 4 mm.
- the bag has, as usual, an opening into which the material to be transported is introduced.
- the remaining edge of the bag is by welding and / or Sewn closed.
- welding the plastic surfaces of the Bag is very easy and inexpensive to create the bag. It will no further substance - like glue - needed for fixing. This avoids that another substance is immersed in the solution. At the same time avoids Welding in a braided network of plastic threads that the net dissolves at the edges.
- the bag requirements mentioned above should be a special durable and solid connection achieved.
- the thread is therefore in particular made of the same material as the rest of the bag.
- machines are used for transport in and out of chemical solutions -
- the above processors - used from the photo lab technique are known.
- Such machines regularly have the necessary facilities on.
- transport systems of these devices are regular made of rollers, with which the bag through one or more trays, so containers is transported.
- the chemical solution or solutions used for preservation be used by paper, in the corresponding tub or tubs filled in the processor and the transport of the in-bag Paper performed.
- such a equipped photographic paper developing machine is used, in which the chemical solution regenerates during transport can be.
- the conservation process can be continuous be performed.
- such a equipped photographic paper developing machine is used, in which the machine comprises a final drying device.
- the papers are then dried automatically.
- the machine comprises a device for Pressing paper.
- the paper is thereby after the deacidification or pressed after drying and so mechanically desirable in the initial state set back.
- a continuous dryer the paper is transported by transport rollers For example, moving past an infrared heater.
- edges of the bag are in an embodiment with a band of plastic envelops.
- the edges of the bag become so beneficial during the transport process protected in a special way from damage.
- the device used comprises a first container for taking a liquid, so a bath.
- the liquid causes the preservation of the paper.
- the transport of paper through the bathroom succeeds as follows:
- the conveyor belts driven by axles or rollers are against each other pressed. In the pressed against each conveyor belts is the Paper introduced from one side.
- the conveyor belts carry the paper through the liquid through.
- the conveyor belts are liquid permeable. she consist in particular of wire or wires that mesh with each other are intertwined.
- the wires are made of VA material.
- the bands engage gears in an embodiment in the mesh one.
- the expansion of the meshes are tuned to the gears so that a subsequent tooth of a gear in a subsequent stitch of the engages affected band.
- the principle is known from chain drives ago.
- the gears are, for example, left and right of axles, over the the affected conveyor belt is guided.
- the transport of the tapes succeeds very reliable and trouble-free.
- the high reliability is required because the device is intended to transport valuable documents.
- the economic Loss would be huge if paper due to transport disruption a tape would be damaged.
- the aforementioned drive has been suitable proved to be up to these requirements.
- next conveyor belt When the paper leaves the bath, in one embodiment it enters next conveyor belt.
- the next conveyor belt is preferably also in Form of a wire mesh executed.
- the paper is lying on this conveyor only up.
- this subsequent conveyor belt is the Paper passed through a dryer.
- Below this next conveyor belt For example, there is an air circulation. Here hot air is circulated, to dry the paper. It is a classic drying device, as it is already used for photo development.
- a mesh of the wire mesh which is used as a conveyor belt, is typically 40 x 6 mm in size.
- the thickness of the wire is typically about 1 mm.
- the residence time in the bath is a few minutes, for example 3 minutes, so as to achieve the desired preservation effect. Corresponding slowly the transport through the bathroom takes place.
- Embodiment provided a kind of ironing machine.
- This example shows a fabric-covered, padded roll on.
- a half-shell made of stainless steel on. The paper is inserted between half shell and roller, and on this Way, the dried paper is "ironed”. Then the paper lies in a proper condition. The process is complete.
- the bath with the preservation liquid is advantageous to a circulation system connected.
- An overflow pipe leads from the bath into another container into it. Waterfall-like, the liquid finally in the other container reach, for example, only 20% filled.
- the further container is then located below the bath.
- the other container indicates the bottom of a drain on the inside of the bath advantageous in a kind Sprinkler system opens.
- the sprinkler system comprises bars with a variety of openings.
- the rods are parallel to an adjacent one Aligned conveyor belt. They are positioned so that the one out Rod emerging rays are directed to the paper, which means of the bands is transported through the bathroom.
- Such a pole with holes, in the following also called spray tube is advantageous at the output of Bath arranged.
- the spray tube is u. a. peeling off the paper from the conveyor belt.
- the jet direction of the liquid jets obliquely upwards and in such a way that thereby the paper from the bottom Band is replaced. In this way, the reliability of the transition becomes too the conveyor belt,
- Spray pipes are also provided inside the bath. Two more spray pipes For example, they are parallel to the transport system inside the bath arranged. Here, the paper to be transported is also "sprayed", and though in this case inside the bath. This will be the desired preservation process accelerated. In the cycle is for this purpose a Pump arranged.
- the preservative liquid can be at the operating temperature to be brought.
- the operating temperature is typically 25 ° C.
- the further container is advantageously provided with a second circulation circuit. So there is a second process and a second feed and a second intermediate pump. By arranged in between Pump ensures that the liquid circulates in the other container becomes. This is useful to a homogeneous distribution of the solution too achieve optimal preservation results.
- the heating which serves to bring the liquid in the bath to temperature, can be arranged in the second circulation circuit of the other container be. It is located, for example, immediately in front of the pump. To this Way, the heating can be realized very easily.
- a Check valve arranged in the feed of the further container into the bath.
- the check valve prevents Liquid from the actual bath by gravity due to this supply gets into the other container. Even in the event of a breakdown, e.g. the Failure of the corresponding pump, it is ensured that the liquid, the is in the bathroom, does not run back into the other container.
- an oblique plate is preferably provided.
- the oblique plate is arranged that the bottom end of the sloping plate to the entrance to bordered by the two conveyor belts.
- the oblique plate consists of a smooth material, e.g. made of a hard plastic.
- the paper to be preserved is placed on this inclined plate. Because the slanted plate is very smooth, the paper slips effortlessly into the entrance to the Conveyor belts into it. This ensures that operator errors are avoided which could lead to the destruction of the paper.
- a steel rod advantageous or another upper limit provided.
- the steel bar forms together with the lower end a kind of entrance slot.
- the entrance slot is for example about 2 cm wide. This will further ensure that the Paper passes error-free into the transport system.
- the inclined plate is advantageously provided with a series of holes.
- the holes are arranged photocells.
- the photocells By means of the photocells the paper becomes detected, which enters the machine.
- an evaluation device It is determined how much paper, or how many square meters of paper the machine is supplied.

- the walls of the enclosure 2, 3 are liquid permeable.
- the envelope 2, 3 is by means of rollers 4, 5, 6 and 7 by the Container moves.
- the wrapping consists of two encircling bands 2 and 3, one off Wires are braided.
- the wires are made of VA metal, as this is inert to the preservative liquid.
- the roller or axle 7 serves to transport the lower band 3. It is located at the exit of the first container. Bristles 8 are on the roller 7 mounted that the on-conveyor belt 3 located paper after leaving the first container from the conveyor belt to the Bristles 8 arrives. The bristles protrude through the mesh for this purpose of the band 3 through. So you lift the wet paper across from Tape away.
- Another container 9 is connected to the first container 1 that Liquid between the two containers 9 can be exchanged and although by the liquid from the other container 9 are pumped into the first and from the first container via an overflow pipe into the second container flows back due to gravity.
- the second container has a further circulation device on. This is desirable for a homogeneous mixing the liquid taken care of.
- a heater is connected to the second tank coupled to bring the liquid to operating temperature.
- each conveyor belts 2, 3 are on the rollers 4 out of the first container in a semicircle. Through this arch shape it is ensured that tape 3 presses against the tape 2. That between the tapes located paper is held so reliably in position. According to Figure 2, the semicircle is close to the bottom of the first Container 1. The paper will therefore pass from top to bottom and back through led the first container.
- the container is in proportion to the diameter relatively deep. So is desired a long transport with a small footprint allows.
- Spray tubes 10 and 11 are located in the first container 1. From the other Container 2, the preparation and provision of the preservative liquid serves, the liquid is pumped into the spray tubes.
- the spray pipes are located adjacent to the conveyor belts 2 and 3. From the spray pipes sprays the liquid in the direction of the conveyor belts, so that the Paper is lapped by freshly prepared liquid. That's near the exit arranged spray tube 11 is located above the liquid level in the first container, through the not shown overflow pipe is predetermined. Here, the circulating conveyor belts dissolve again from each other. Through this spray tube, the paper is gently from the bottom Transport belt 3 solved and raised slightly. Spray tube 11 is so arranged that transported paper leaving the first container is released from the envelope with the cooperation of the spray tube.
- Photosensors are integrated in a plate 12.
- the plate 12 is made Plastic material with a very smooth surface. Plate 12 is inclined at Entrance to the first container so attached that paper, which on the Plate 12 is placed, slipped into the envelope and from the tapes 2 and 3 is detected.
