Definitions
- the present invention relates to a spring bridge for a mattress designed as a spring bridge grate, such as it is defined in the preamble of independent claim 1 is.
- Spring bridge gratings are available in various designs Spring base for a cushion cover, for example a Seat cushion or a mattress. In doing so, especially for beds with high and optimal health Lying comfort, the flexible suspension of the spring bridges very proven.
- German utility model DE-G 93 17114 is one known other type of spring bridges, in which the Flexibility by arranging multiple spring elements a main girder bridge.
- Spring bridge gratings can be made with the spring bridges mentioned construct, which - in interaction with the Mattress - optimally adjust to a lying body, because of its nature and lying position locally with very different and constantly changing Tracking force.
- the main object of the present invention propose a spring bridge structure that on the one hand enables inexpensive manufacture of a spring bridge grate, on the other hand, nevertheless, for a high lying comfort necessary functions, especially locally progressive adapting spring properties.
- the spring bridge comprises a main support bridge and at least one flat, arranged on this, flexible support element.
- the main bridge can be mounted on the side parts of a base mattress and ultimately takes the load.
- the support element extends laterally across the longitudinal axis the main bridge and, at least with parts, over the top of the main girder bridge up. It is designed that it is more flexible and / or elastic than the main support bridge itself.
- the support element is preferably designed such that it when loaded by a contact force (usually the locally acting weight of a mattress and a person resting on it) is bent down, whereby an area around the main support bridge an angle of at most the same size as a further one Area is rotated.
- a contact force usually the locally acting weight of a mattress and a person resting on it
- the support element the shape of a wing-like, extending from the main support bridge towards the lip, which extends obliquely upwards. Is appropriate at least on both long sides of the main support bridge a support element is arranged.
- the flexibility or elasticity of the support element with respect the main girder bridge can be selected of material and cross-sectional dimensions. As experiments have shown, it is usually for a bed under mattress for a normal weight person suitable if the support element with a local contact force of about 20 Newtons (2 Kilopond) to to the level of the top of the main girder bridge leaves.
- Preferred embodiments of the support elements and the Main support bridge are designed so that they are without tools can be assembled and are suitable for self-assembly.
- Another advantage of spring bridges according to the invention relates the ventilation of an upper mattress lying on it. Thanks to the over the top of the main support bridge The top mattress extends above the support elements at least in the unloaded or only partially loaded state not completely on the spring bridges, but there is a space through which the bottom the top mattress is also ventilated in the area of the spring bridges and the evaporation of those arising in the top mattress Moisture is relieved. In addition, relocations cause a person resting on the mattress in the gaps a pumping effect that improves ventilation. Because so the ventilation problem, which with flat on the Mattress adjoining slats whose width is limited to a certain one Restricted as much as possible, can also the spring bridges be wider so that a smaller number sufficient to form a rust.
- Main support bridge and support element are expedient and preferred made of plastic, either in one piece or as separate parts.
- One-piece designs save additional Fastening devices and assembly steps.
- separate parts there is the possibility to use different materials, for example Materials with different elasticity or about a glass fiber reinforced plastic for the main support bridge.
- separate parts ensure easy Separation of materials for later disposal.
- Several separate support elements can also be attached to a main support bridge be provided. This advantageously allows arrange the support elements variably, for example at Spring bridges in the areas of higher loads (e.g. in Buttocks section) more than in the areas of smaller loads.
- the spring bridge shown in Figures 1 to 3, overall labeled with 2 shows the basic elements the invention. According to Figure 1 are a number of spring bridges 2 to form a sub mattress in one Frame, here consisting of two longitudinal frames 4, mounted.
- Each spring bridge 2 consists of a main support bridge 6, the as a hollow profile bar with an essentially rectangular cross section is formed, and two each on one long side the main support bridge 6 arranged support elements 8.
- Die Support elements 8 are integrally formed on the main support bridge 6 and extend in the form of a flat, wing-like Lips laterally from the main support bridge to the longitudinal axis obliquely upwards and protrude with exception their directly adjoining the main support bridge 6 Batch beyond the top of the main girder bridge.
- the support elements 8 with respect to the main support bridge 6 a comparatively great flexibility or Elasticity that is softer than flexibility in any case or elasticity of the hollow profile of the main support bridge. Therefore, under the effect of a small tracking force mainly the support elements 8 bent and except for the Level the top of the main support bridge and if necessary also depressed further down, like this by the different positions along the arrows A in FIG. 3 is indicated, while the main support bridge 6 only slightly gives way (arrow B). Only when the tracking force is greater and after pressing down the support elements 8 also directly can act on the main support bridge 6, the latter also deformed more.
- spring bridge 2 thus acts against one another, different, adding up Load capacities; it thus shows the desired ones progressively adapting spring properties.
- the support elements 8 in the longitudinal direction Press the spring bridge differently in sections, so that locally different also in this direction Stress conditions are possible.
- the support element continue on one side of the main support bridge pressed down than the one on the other side, whereby there is a total contact surface inclined to the horizontal results and the spring bridge in its effective Location is tilted to a certain extent.
- Figure 4 corresponds in general the previously described. But here they are two support elements through recesses 10 in the longitudinal direction the spring bridge divided into several segments 12. They can therefore be local to an even greater extent adjust differently.
- Figures 5 and 6 show spring bridges, in which support element and main support bridge are separate parts.
- the main support bridge is a hollow section bar 14, for example made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, with a longitudinal slot 16.
- the longitudinal slot 16 and the adjacent wall webs 18 form an undercut Groove into the one on the respective support element trained retaining web 20 or 22 can be inserted.
- Figure 5 are two wing-like lips 24 into a single, flat V-shaped support element, while in FIG. 6 several wing-like support elements 26 in the longitudinal direction the spring bridge arranged in segments one behind the other are.
- the support elements 26 can be different Arrangements have been inserted, for example as shown mutually aligned or all on the same side or in groups on one and then again on the other side, for example two left, two right, etc.
- the distances between the support elements can also be determined choose freely so that such execution a total of many options for variable design of the Spring bridge offers.
- FIG. 7 is the main support bridge as folded several times in the transverse direction Profile bar 28 formed, on the lateral outer webs a wing-like support element 30 is integrally formed.
- the Multiple folding of the profile bar 28 is two-fold expedient. On the one hand, the multiple folding improves the Load capacity of the main support bridge in the longitudinal direction, on the other hand can cross the main support bridge in the transverse direction a bearing force acting on the support elements to a certain extent Dimensionally deformed and thus provides an additional Contribution to the spring properties of the support elements.
- FIG. 8 there is the main support bridge from a solid rod 32 of slightly trapezoidal Cross section provided with two longitudinal bores 34 is.
- Two united into a flat V-shaped part wing-like support elements 36 are via a spacer serving web 38 on the top of the main support bridge appropriate.
- This arrangement advantageously enables an additional gradation in the spring properties the support elements. If that is the rod 32 spaced support element 36 loaded with a contact force, so it comes after a first partial deflection with its underside on the rod 32. For the further deflection shortens the bending distance and thus reduces the flexibility of the support element.
- one serving as the main support bridge Hollow section bar 40 flat, slightly upward curved support elements 42 formed on the side, which their longitudinal edge removed from the hollow profile bar 40 each flat, essentially horizontally extending Wear support element 44.
- the top of the Hollow section bars 40 widened by laterally projecting webs 46.
- the spring bridge shown in Figure 10 has as the main support bridge also a hollow profile rod, here designated 48, on. On this two are each on one of the two longitudinal sides of the hollow profile rod 48 extending outwards Lips 50 molded, each on its outer edge an upstanding spring element 52 in the form of a flexible Wear a V-profile. Support the two spring elements 52 in turn a flat support element 54. In this version the spring properties are more advantageous Way from the interaction of different Elasticity of the support element 54, the spring elements 52, the lips 50 and the hollow profile rod 48.
- 11 has a further profile bar with reference number 60, especially hollow section bar for the realization of a spring bridge on.
- This can have precautions to attach of support elements by means of a snap connection Enable (clip).
- the corresponding precautions can be grooves, grooves or grooves or, as shown in the drawing Fall, protruding edges, lugs 62 or springs.
- On Support element or a pad 63, here comparatively generously dimensioned, is with a snap profile connected, which has an approximately U-shaped cross section is.
- the snap profile has one rather flat casing part 64. The elasticity properties this part 64 are based on those of Snap edges 61 matched, so that easy clipping and reliable attachment of the pad 63 on the Profile bar 60 is possible.
- Pads 63 can, as in the previous described, spreading freely or over a large area be and with several profile bars 60 in connection brought, if necessary in only partial or partial Wise. Due to the shape of the ventilation openings 59 the necessary ventilation of the top mattress is supported. At the same time, the elasticity behavior the edition 63 can be set. By means of the above Single support elements can also be snapped on be attached to the spring bridges.
- small-area, also flexible support elements 63; 64; 65; 66; 67; 68 mutually offset or in the immediate vicinity are clipped onto the spring bridges or profile bars 60, so that a locally different elasticity behavior the base mattress adjusted according to individual specifications can be.
- the effectiveness of the intended The venting function is not inadmissibly restricted.
- the support elements can be in different Degrees of hardness are manufactured and are e.g. by appropriate Coloring distinguishable from each other. An arrangement the surfaces of the support elements by means of decor, logo or similar is possible without much effort.
- Support elements 69 are for attachment to two Profile bars 60 are provided and can also be selected be clipped on with the respective transverse offset.
- the profile the support elements can be designed in various forms be and has, for example, a rather flat Cross section on or a closed contour, similar to shown in Fig. 10.
- Support elements are comparable 70 optionally with two or more snap-on profiles on at least two, possibly also three or several profile bars 60 clipped on, depending on the intended Elasticity behavior.
- the various mentioned Support elements each have a standardized Snap profile. By combining different types Support elements can be the flexibility values of a Base mattress varies locally and in many ways individual wishes can be adjusted.
