Claims (36)
- Verfahren zum direkten oder indirekten ein- oder beidseitigen Auftragen eines flüssigen oder pastösen Auftragmediums (2) auf eine laufende Oberfläche (4), insbesondere aus Papier oder Karton, wobeidas Auftragsmedium (2) mittels einer Vielzahl von in Breitenrichtung (B) und/oder Längsrichtung der Oberfläche (4) voneinander beabstandet nebeneinander und/oder hintereinander angeordneten und deutlich von der Oberfläche (4) distanzierten (D) Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12, 12a, 12b), aus denen das Auftragsmedium (2) jeweils in einem durch die Umgebungsatmosphäre verlaufenden geschlossenen Vorhang austritt, in einer Vielzahl von Einzel-Auftragsbereichen auf die Oberfläche (4) aufgetragen wird,wobei sich jeweils benachbarte Einzel-Auftragsbereiche in ihren jeweiligen Randbereichen zumindest teilweise durchdringen (U), so dass eine Auftragsmediumschicht über im wesentlichen die gesamte Breite (B) der zu beschichtenden Oberfläche (4) erzeugt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Oberfläche (4) und/oder das Auftragsmedium (2) vor und/oder während des Auftragens elektrostatisch aufgeladen (22) wird. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
gekennzeichnet durch
Variieren einer Ausstoßcharakteristik und/oder einer Menge des ausgestoßenen Auftragmediums (2) von einer oder mehreren der Vielzahl von Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) zur Erzeugung eines gewünschten Quer- und/oder Längsprofils der Auftragsmediumschicht. - Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
gekennzeichnet durch
Variieren (26) des Abstandes (D) der Einzel-Freistrahldüse (12) relativ zur laufenden Oberfläche (4). - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Auftragsmedium (2) im wesentlichen ohne Überschuss auf die Oberfläche (4) aufgetragen und dazu nur soviel Auftragsmedium (2) von den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) ausgestoßen wird, wie für den Aufbau der vorgegebenen Schichtdicke erforderlich ist. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Auftragsmedium (2) im Überschuss aufgetragen wird, wobei die Menge des Auftragsmediums (2) dem 2- bis 5-fachen des zu erzielenden Endauftrags entspricht. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das im Überschuss aufgetragene Auftragsmedium (2) mittels wenigstens eines Rakelelementes (14) abgerakelt und in einen Auftragsmediumkreislauf (46) zurückgeführt wird. - Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das auf die laufende Oberfläche (4) aufgetragene Auftragsmedium (2) mittels wenigstens einer Egalisierungseinrichtung (14) egalisiert wird. - Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Auftragsmedium (2) durch zwei oder mehrere sich in Breitenrichtung der Oberfläche (4) und/oder in einem Winkel (β) dazu erstreckende, aus den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) gebildete Düsenreihen (R1, R2), die jeweils in Längsrichtung der Oberfläche (4) voneinander beabstandet sind, aufgetragen wird, wobei sich von den einzelnen Düsenreihen ausgestoßene Einzelmengen des Auftragmediums (2) während des Fortschreitens der laufenden Oberfläche (4) zu einer erforderlichen Gesamtauftragsmenge summieren. - Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
jeweilige Düsenstrahlen (18) des aus einer jeweiligen Einzel-Freistrahldüse (12) austretenden Auftragsmediums (2) vor dem Auftreffen auf die laufende Oberfläche (4) vergleichmäßigt (36, 48) werden. - Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die jeweiligen Düsenstrahlen (18) des aus einer jeweiligen Einzel-Freistrahldüse (12) austretenden Auftragsmediums (2) vor dem Auftreffen auf die laufende Oberfläche (4) umgelenkt (36, 48, 48a, 48b) werden. - Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Auftragsmedium (2) in Form von laminaren Flachstrahlen (18L, 18aL, 18bL) auf die laufende Oberfläche (4) aufgetragen wird. - Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
eine von der laufenden Oberfläche (4) mitgeschleppte Luftgrenzschicht (30) bezogen auf die Laufrichtung der Oberfläche (4) vor den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) entfernt (28) wird. - Vorrichtung zum direkten oder indirekten ein- oder beidseitigen Auftragen eines flüssigen oder pastösen Auftragsmediums (2) auf eine laufende Oberfläche (4), insbesondere aus Papier oder Karton, umfassend eine Stütz- oder Trägerfläche (6) für die laufende Oberfläche (4) und eine Vielzahl von bezogen auf die Breitenrichtung (B) und/oder Längsrichtung der Oberfläche (4) voneinander beabstandet nebeneinander und/oder hintereinander angeordneten Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12), aus denen jeweils das Auftragsmedium (2) in einem durch die Umgebungsatmosphäre verlaufenden geschlossenen Vorhang austritt, und die deutlich von der Stütz- oder Trägerfläche (6) und damit der von der Stütz- oder Trägerfläche (6) getragenen Oberfläche (4) distanziert (D) sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 14,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) zwei oder mehrere sich in Breitenrichtung der Oberfläche (4) und/oder in einem Winkel dazu erstreckende Düsenreihen bilden, die jeweils in Längsrichtung der Oberfläche (4) voneinander beabstandet sind. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 15,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
zwischen mindestens zwei Düsenreihen eine an sich bekannte Zwischentrockeneinrichtung (50) zum Zwischentrocknen der beschichteten Oberfläche (4) vorgesehen ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Ausstoßcharakteristik und/oder die Ausstoßmenge der Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) einstellbar ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der Abstand (D) der Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) zur Oberfläche (4) einstellbar (26) ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Einzel-Freistrahldüsen als Flachstrahldüsen (12) ausgebildet sind. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) mit einer Antihaftbeschichtung (24) versehen und/oder zumindest teilweise aus einem Werkstoff mit Antihafteigenschaften hergestellt sind. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
ein zwischengemessener Austrittswinkel (α) des aus einer jeweiligen Einzel-Freistrahldüse (12) austretenden Düsenstrahls (18) kleiner gleich 30° ist.einer durch eine jeweilige Einzel-Freistrahldüse (12) gelegten erste Bezugsebene (E1) undeiner durch eine Mittelachse eines jeweiligen Düsenstrahls (18) gelegten zweiten Bezugsebene (E2) - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 21,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der Austrittswinkel (α) verstellbar (52) ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) als Zungendüsen ausgebildet sind. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
zwischen den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) und der laufenden Oberfläche (4) wenigstens eine Düsenstrahl-Vergleichmäßigungseinrichtung (36, 48) vorgesehen ist, die den jeweiligen Düsenstrahl (18) des aus einer jeweiligen Einzel-Freistrahldüse (12) austretenden Auftragsmediums (2) vergleichmäßigt. - Vorrichtung einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
zwischen den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) und der laufenden Oberfläche (4) wenigstens eine Düsenstrahl-Umlenkeinrichtung (36, 48, 48a, 48b) vorgesehen ist, die den jeweiligen Düsenstrahl (18) des aus einer jeweiligen Einzel-Freistrahldüse (12) austretenden Auftragsmediums (2) in Richtung auf die laufende Oberfläche (4) umlenkt. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 25,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
jeder Einzel-Freistrahldüse (12a, 12b) mindestens eine separate Düsenstrahl-Umlenkeinrichtung (48a, 48b) zugeordnet ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 25,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) eine gemeinsame Umlenkeinrichtung (36) zugeordnet ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 25 bis 27,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dasseinstellbar (40, 44) ist.die Geometrie der Düsenstrahl-Umlenkeinrichtung (36), und/oderdie Anordnung der Düsenstrahl-Umlenkeinrichtung (36) relativ zur laufenden Oberfläche (4) und/oder relativ zu einer jeweiligen Einzel-Freistrahldüse (12) - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Düsenstrahl-Umlenkeinrichtung (36) von den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) beabstandet (D1) angeordnet ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Düsenstrahl-Umlenkeinrichtung (48; 48a, 48b) unmittelbar vor der Düsenaustrittsöffnung der Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12a, 12b) angeordnet ist und eine sich von der Düsenaustrittsöffnung in Richtung zur zu beschichtenden Oberfläche (4) hin erstreckende Leitfläche (48.2) für den Düsenstrahl (18) des austretenden Auftragsmediums (2) bildet. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
jeweils benachbarte Düsenstrahl-Umlenkeinrichtungen (48a, 48b) versetzt (V) zueinander angeordnet sind, so dass sich von den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12a, 12b) ausgehende benachbarte Düsenstrahlen (18aL, 18bL) des Auftragsmediums (2) auf ihrem Weg zur zu beschichtenden Oberfläche (4) hin nicht berühren oder durchdringen. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Düsenstrahl-Umlenkeinrichtung als Prallplatte (36, 48) ausgestaltet ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
diese wenigstens eine elektrostatische Aufladungseinrichtung (22) zum elektrostatischen Aufladen der laufenden Oberfläche (4) und/oder des Auftragmediums (2) aufweist. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) bezogen auf eine Laufrichtung der laufenden Oberfläche (4) mindestens eine Luftgrenzschicht-Entfernungseinrichtung (28) vorgeschaltet ist, die eine von der laufenden Oberfläche (4) mitgeschleppte Luftgrenzschicht (30) entfernt. - Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergenannten Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
diese ein mit den Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12) kommunizierendes Verteilrohr (10) zum Zuleiten des Auftragsmediums (2) zu den Einzel-Auftragsdüsen (12) besitzt, das mit einer Antihaftbeschichtung (24) versehen und/oder zumindest teilweise aus einem Werkstoff mit Antihafteigenschaften hergestellt ist. - Verwendung einer Vielzahl von bezogen auf eine Breitenrichtung (B) und/oder Längsrichtung einer laufenden Oberfläche (4), insbesondere aus Papier oder Karton voneinander beabstandet nebeneinander und/oder hintereinander angeordneten Einzel-Freistrahldüsen (12), aus denen jeweils ein flüssiges oder pastöses Auftragsmedium (2) in einem durch die Umgebungsatmosphäre verlaufenden geschlossenen Vorhang austritt, und die deutlich von der Oberfläche (4) distanziert (D) sind, zum direkten oder indirekten einoder beidseitigen Auftragen des Auftragmediums (2) auf die laufende Oberfläche (4).
