Definitions
- the invention relates to an end profile system for balconies or the like with a bracket profile and one thereon elongated by means of suitable holding means Facing profile, the bracket profile an anchoring leg for anchoring the bracket profile in the outer edge of a support plate or a covering of the balcony and one in the Intended installation condition over the side edge of the balcony protruding to the outside for holding the facing profile.
- Such two-part end profile systems are known e.g. from German utility model 295 14 797. They serve in particular, the ingress of moisture, such as e.g. Driving rain or over the front edge of a balcony draining water, into the support plate of a balcony or in a covering applied to the support plate, e.g. To prevent screed and at the same time visually form an attractive end to the balcony front wall.
- the end profile system known from the utility model mentioned has proven itself in practice. With certain Types of anchoring leg anchorage on the respective balcony support plate, e.g. when anchoring by applying screed, however, it can be unfavorable Circumstances, e.g. in direct sunlight there are tension problems on the profile system because the usually metallic profile parts expand more than the mostly mineral balcony building materials.
- the object of the invention is to specify a closing profile system for balconies or the like, at the problem due to different coefficients of thermal expansion as far as possible from the balcony and end profile system are avoided.
- this object is achieved by an end profile system solved, in which the holder means formed in this way are that they have a relative movement of bracket profile and facing profile in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the facing profile.
- This partial decoupling of bracket profile and facing profile guaranteed, that the external weather influences are directly exposed
- Extend the veneer profile when exposed to heat and when it cools down can contract accordingly without losing the support profile to be hindered and in particular without exerting any force on the bracket profile and thus the balcony or the like to transfer the sufficient, the balcony support plate, the balcony covering or the like. damage what e.g. showed through cracking.
- the veneer profiles are different Thermal expansion of balcony material and facing profile mainly in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the facing profile noticeable, it is enough to avoid Damage to the balcony or the like.
- the holder means usually from when the holder means a relative movement of the holder profile and facing profile in the direction of the longitudinal extent allow the veneer profile; with exceptional dimensions of the facing profile, however, can be the holding means also be designed so that they have relative movements of facing profile and bracket profile in others or enable other directions.
- the bracket profile can be designed such that the Bracket section on in the intended assembly state outside edge of the anchoring leg from the balcony this is angled. It can in the intended Installation state perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the retaining veneer profile dimensioned height of the bracket section be dimensioned so that one and the same bracket profile both for the so-called thick-bed and for so-called thin bed laying is suitable.
- thick beds becomes the anchoring leg of the bracket profile on a support plate or a drainage layer or the like put on what then usually some Centimeter thick screed layer is applied on the then further coverings or layers are provided after curing will.
- laying thin beds which is usually e.g.
- the anchoring leg comes into question not in or under a relatively thick one Screed layer anchored, but on such already existing layer placed on and in this in a suitable Way attached. Then be on the anchoring leg only in comparison to the one below the anchoring leg located strength of the balcony or the like.
- relatively thin Layers or coatings e.g. with a layer of adhesive mortar tiles laid on it, provided.
- a particularly advantageous way of fastening the veneer profile on the bracket profile results from the fact that the support means at least one on the support section intended groove-like depression with narrowed Mouth and a provided on the facing profile, in the groove-like recess insertable or hookable engagement section with the cross section of the groove-like depression have at least partially complementary cross-section. It is also possible to use this type of fastening just to reverse, i.e. the groove-like depression on the Facing profile and the engagement section on the mounting section to provide. With such a configuration the holder means an easy assembly of the Veneer profile without additional tools or other fasteners, such as. Screws or rivets possible.
- the groove-like depression mentioned can be in the area of their narrowed mouth of two parallel to one another Flat side of the bracket profile or veneer profile rib-like molded on the bracket profile or on the facing profile Strip sections are formed.
- This has the advantage that the deepening is simple and inexpensive - in the case of a metallic end profile e.g. in the extrusion process - Can be produced, so that a such deepening not subsequently in the profile e.g. must be introduced by milling.
- a stiffening effect achieved which the respective profiles both stiffened during installation as well as during transport and less susceptible against warping. The profiles are therefore almost never useless during transport due to bending made. Installation on site is also possible with a stiff profile much easier than with a flexible one.
- the engagement section advantageously has a mouth penetrating strip section and one on the recess side Attached at the end of the strip section, approximately parallel to the inner surface of the Recess strip section.
- the engagement portion one to the groove-like recess only partially complementary cross-section, so that a short locking pin in the after insertion of the engagement section into the groove-like depression in the groove-like Deepening remaining free space to be introduced can.
- a locking pin prevents accidental Unhook the suspended profile, taking a total Material and thus weight saved, but at the same time a secure mounting of the engagement section in the groove-like depression is ensured without the relative mobility from bracket profile and facing profile to affect.
- the holding means at least one optionally in the bracket section or the oblong hole provided for the facing profile and one / s on the facing profile or the fastening leg intended / n in the intended installation state in the Have an elongated screw or bolt.
- the Direction corresponds to the greatest extent of the hole the preferred direction of expansion of the facing profile, so usually the direction of the longitudinal extension of the Facing profile.
- the holding means also optionally on the holding section or the locking projections provided for the facing profile and on the facing profile or the mounting section provided snap receptacles with to the locking projections at least partially complementary cross sections exhibit.
- This training also enables the veneer profile anywhere on the bracket section put on and - here by locking - with to connect the bracket profile.
- each of these three types of attachment allows advantageous a slight replacement of the veneer profiles, so that e.g. the facing profiles removed during renovation work and cleaned or by color on the respective Facade painting adapted veneer profiles to be replaced can. It turns out over time that the derivative of dirty water accumulating on a balcony Expecting to be problematic can be simple Facing profiles replaced with such facing profiles be where a channel for draining liquid is provided or attachable.
- Limiting means for limiting the relative movement of Bracket profile and facing profile provided.
- Such limiting means prevent it from being repeated thermal expansion and subsequent contraction the veneer profile to an excessive walking movement of the facing profile come in an expansion direction can, and are preferably used when the Bracket means are designed such that the facing profile in the intended installation state to the left or to the right from its corresponding bracket on Bracket profile can be pushed out.
- the Bracket means are designed such that the facing profile in the intended installation state to the left or to the right from its corresponding bracket on Bracket profile can be pushed out.
- the sliding friction with such a relative movement of veneer profile and bracket profile in one Direction is greater than what is opposite leads to the fact that the veneer profile during repeated thermal Gradually expand and contract into one Direction hikes.
- the limiting means for limiting the Relative movement of the facing profile and the mounting profile can be designed in the form of stops for the veneer profile but it is also possible to use the veneer profile firmly connected to the bracket profile at one point, this attachment then preferably in the middle of the Facing profile takes place.
- each bracket section is several on each bracket section, against each other at least in one to the longitudinal extension of the retaining veneer profile offset in a right-angled direction Holding means provided. This ensures that the Facing profile in the intended installation state on the Outside of a balcony or the like. even with strong gusty winds is held securely in the bracket profile and almost no movements perpendicular to the front of each House on which the balcony is provided.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is the support profile in the direction of the longitudinal extent the veneer profile much shorter than that Dimension the facing profile, and there are several mounting profiles provided for holding a veneer profile.
- the facing profile alignment means especially one groove-like depression extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile with narrowed mouth, for alignment to provide two facing profiles.
- Are to be aligned with the two Facing profiles each have corresponding groove-like Provided recesses, so the alignment by means of a each partially in the groove-like recess of one and partially in the groove-like recess of the other veneer profile connecting bar to be introduced.
- the anchoring leg can be essentially flat be trained and at least one of his Flat sides at least in sections enlarging a surface Profiling, e.g. in the form of dovetail-like Grooves have.
- a number of openings can be made in the anchoring leg are provided, which saves material and on the other hand in cases where the anchoring leg in a flowable layer on the balcony or the like to be anchored, a particularly stable anchoring guaranteed because the flowable material through the Pass through openings in the anchoring leg and After curing, a positive connection with can produce the anchoring leg.
- the anchoring leg it is also possible in the anchoring leg at least one hole for receiving corresponding fastening screws to provide. Will be several short bracket profiles used, it is usually sufficient provide only one hole in each anchoring leg. If an elongated bracket profile is used, so can expediently a larger number of holes in the anchoring leg are provided.
- the veneer profile is usually used as a simple front panel educated. However, gutters are not provided and is the accumulation of liquid in on the balcony problematic in any way, it can Facing profile also a channel for draining liquid exhibit.
- bracket profile 22 consists of an essentially flat anchoring leg 26, in which a number of openings 28 are provided is, and one in the intended state of assembly the side edge of a balcony or the like.
- outbound Bracket section 30 for holding the facing profile 24.
- holding means 32 and 34 which make a relative movement of bracket profile 22 and facing profile 24 in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the veneer profile 24 enable.
- closure profile system As in Figures 3 to 6 in particular can be seen, are in this embodiment closure profile system according to the invention the holder means of two on the bracket portion 30 of the bracket profile 22 provided engaging portions 32 and on the Facing profile 24 provided groove-like depressions 34 formed with a narrow mouth.
- the engaging portions 32 each have a corresponding to the corresponding groove-like Recess 34 partially complementary cross section.
- each groove-like depression 34 in the area of its narrowed Mouth of two parallel to a flat side of the veneer profile 24 formed rib-like strip sections 36 is formed.
- two groove-like depressions on the facing profile and correspondingly on the mounting section 30 two engagement sections 32 provided.
- upper groove-like depression 34 is to ensure good support of the engaging portion to be inserted into this recess 34 32 a support edge formed here as a nose 38 intended.
- This support edge advantageously enables to enlarge the groove-like recess 34 in cross section and save material and weight at the same time but still a secure mounting of the veneer profile on Ensure bracket profile.
- each engaging portion 32 has one as intended Mounting condition of bracket profile 22 and facing profile 24 penetrating the mouth of the groove-like depression Strip section 40 and one on the recess side At the end of this strip section 40, approximately parallel to the inner surface opposite the mouth of the recess 34 extending strip section 42 on.
- the height is parallel to that opposite the mouth Inner surface of the recess 34 extending Strip section 40 dimensioned smaller than the height of the Mouth, so that the facing profile 24 on the bracket section placed anywhere and the Sections of engagement through the narrowed mouths in the groove-like depressions 34 can be introduced.
- bracket and Facing profile are both composed in such a way that the bracket section angled from the anchoring leg 26 30 after putting on the anchoring leg 26 e.g. on the support plate, not shown here Balconies facing up and down.
- Such one End profile system is therefore suitable for laying thick beds, in the on the anchoring leg 26 of the bracket profile 22 usually not shown here a few centimeters thick screed layer and then another Layers, e.g. a layer of adhesive mortar and a tile covering be applied, as well as for thin bed laying (with the mounting and facing profile then as in Fig.
- brackets and facing profiles can be used assembled as shown in Fig. 1 that the bracket portion 30 one on the anchoring leg 26 to be applied, not shown here Screed or the like at least partially covers. But it can also - as described later in connection with FIG. 10 - one specially designed for laying thick beds Bracket profile are used, in addition to the bracket section the screed before external weather influences protective profile section is provided.
- Fig. 7 shows a veneer profile 24 and bracket profile 52 existing final profile in the intended Assembly condition.
- the facing profile 24 corresponds to that above already described in connection with FIGS. 1 to 6 Facing profile 24.
- Fig. 8 which by the Dashed line in Fig. 7 marked detail of the support profile 52 on an enlarged scale shows, is clearly visible, it is the on the bracket portion 60 of the support profile 52 provided Holding means around locking projections 62, which are dimensioned in this way are that they are provided in the facing profile 24 can engage groove-like depressions.
- the locking projections 62 advantageously allow the customer a choice between two types of mounting offer without separate veneer profiles would have to be made.
- the locking projections and the corresponding Recesses on the facing profiles to be held differently to dimension and design and in particular also the To provide locking projections on the facing profile and the bracket profile to be provided with corresponding recesses.
- Fig. 9 shows a perspective view of a relative for the longitudinal extension of a veneer profile Bracket profile, essentially the one above bracket profile 22 corresponds and therefore with was given the same reference number.
- a flowable material e.g. a screed or a mortar can penetrate what after setting of the flowable material is a particularly solid, namely positive anchoring of the bracket profile 22 for Consequence.
- the recesses 28 still have the same another positive effect that it becomes an essential Save material without sacrificing the stability of the Noticeably affect the anchoring leg. It is at this point noticed that the recesses 28 of course any other shape instead of the triangular shape can have, e.g.
- a bore 64 is provided, through which during assembly the mounting profile 22 a corresponding fastening screw can be performed, the bracket profile alone on a balcony support plate or the like. anchored, or but the bracket profile 22 before the application of a flowable material fixed on the anchoring leg 26.
- Fig. 10 shows a specially for laying in the thick bed trained bracket profile 72, in which a screed additional protective against external weather conditions Profile strip 74 is provided, which is in the intended Section of the anchoring leg that appears in the installed state 76 is located.
- Profile strip 74 is also on the in the intended installation state lower side of the anchoring leg 76 a number provided surface-enlarging recesses 78, which better connect the anchoring leg an adhesive mortar or the like. guarantee and of course in principle also with the others shown here Anchoring legs can be provided.
- On the bracket section 80 of the bracket profile 72 are again Engagement sections for corresponding groove-like depressions provided that the engagement sections described above 32 correspond and therefore with the same reference number were provided.
- FIG. 11 to 15 is another embodiment an end profile system 90 according to the invention in its Whole (Fig. 11 and 15) or its individual parts (Figs. 12 to 14).
- This end profile system are the relative movement of bracket profile 92 and Facing profile 94 enables holding means of pairs of elongated holes and bolts educated.
- FIGS. 11, 12 and 14 there is the support profile 92 from a substantially flat Anchoring leg 96 and a bracket portion 100, in which an elongated hole 102 is provided.
- Located on the elongated veneer profile 94 a number of bolts 104, at least the Corresponds to the number of bracket profiles provided.
- the bolts 104 are dimensioned so that they through the corresponding slots 102 can be inserted and have a thread at their free end, so that after inserting the bolts 104 through the elongated holes 102 the connection can be secured by a nut 106.
- a fixing profile 108 is provided, which in its design and dimensions essentially the bracket profile 92 corresponds and also a bracket portion 110 and an anchoring leg 112. However, there is no elongated hole in the mounting section 110 provided, but one designed to receive a bolt 104 Hole 114 with a circular cross-section.

- the extension of Anchoring leg 222 to the outside of the balcony Canopy leg 240 attached, the relative to the anchoring leg 222 slightly towards the bracket portion 230 is angled.
- the lower edge of the canopy leg 240 is a continuous one Drip nose 242 formed, which is the tearing off Water droplets favored.
- At the bottom of the canopy leg is also a U-shaped, preferably undercut at least in one leg (which here but is not shown) molded 244, in which one end of a sealing clip drawn here in dash-dotted lines 246 can be used.
- Such a sealing clip 246 is used to seal the resulting in the cases Butt edge, in which two facing profiles 224 on butt be laid together.
- two veneer profiles e.g. by means of an in the groove-like recess provided for the veneer profiles 224 248 insertable connecting bolt aligned with each other will.
- the resulting joint edge of the two Profiles can then advantageously be snapped on Clips 246 are sealed so that on this butt edge no water penetrate and that of the facing profiles 224 covered layers of the balcony of the terrace or the like. can wet out.
- Facing profile 224 on the mounting profile 222 prevents such sealing clip 246 also advantageously simple Lift the facing profile 224 out of the mounting profile 222.
- the sealing clip 246 thus fulfills a double function and can therefore also be called a "safety clip" and be used.
- the bracket profile 222 has a length, which is comparable to the length of the attached to it Facing profile 224 is.
- the bracket profiles as so much shorter than that Facing profile are, creating a significant amount of material.
- the invention Solution of the task - the thermal decoupling of the bracket and veneer profile also results from this Embodiment, since that is the direct sunlight can expose exposed veneer profile, without exerting greater forces on the thermal in the Usually mineral material of the balcony or terrace to transmit coupled bracket profile.
- bracket profile 222 shown in FIG. 16 is a modification of the bracket profile 222 shown in FIG. 16, which in its entirety with 222 ' is designated. It essentially consists of the same Elements that also form the bracket profile 222 16, but differs from this in that it is for so-called laying in a thick bed is provided:
- the anchoring leg 226 'on e.g. put on a balcony support plate, which is followed by a relatively thick screed layer the balcony support plate and the anchoring leg on it 226 'is applied.
- the screed layer is then the anchoring leg 226 'in anchored to the screed layer in the manner already described, wherein in particular the recesses 228 'have a positive fit Ensure connection.
- the bracket section 230 ' has a dual function: on the one hand are on the outside of the balcony or terrace described support or support and guide means 232 'and 236' provided, on the other hand, its balcony or inner side facing the terrace as an outer boundary and covering the screed layer to be applied.
- As Kick protection and at the same time improving the anchorage of the support profile 222 'in the screed layer to be applied serves as a continuation of the canopy 240 'provided, approximately parallel to the anchoring leg 226 'upper end legs 266'.
- Anchoring leg 226 'facing the bottom of the free End of this upper end leg 266 ' is one of the Drip nose 242 'on the roof leg 240' comparable Molded nose 268 ', but this is not the better Drain, but better anchoring in the applied Screed layer should serve.
