- US-A-4,388,778 discloses a shower partition for use a bathtub built into a building recess known an upper supporting guide rail and one with the tub rim connected lower guide rail through which as Sliding elements trained door panels are held.
- the upper guide rail is firmly connected to the building wall, while the lower guide rail is firmly attached to the front Tub edge is connected and has the task of hanging hanging Secure door panels against swinging out to the side.
- This shower partition is intended as a permanent device and will only be complete with all if damaged or worn Parts disassembled.
- the invention is based on the object of a bathtub create that allows to increase user convenience also connecting parts can be attached.
- the head start only over partial lengths, for example at the foot and head end and can extend over part of the longitudinal side wall, allowed the arrangement of a large number of different connecting parts, which increase the ease of use. These are positively connected to the projection so that it is easy can be released, but can also be locked.
- Headrests and / or backrests can be turned inwards or outwards externally protruding storage tables, reading desks, lamp holders for low-voltage lamps, but also splash guards arranged
- the training as a "rail" does not only give special additional Design options for such a tub, but also enables a reliable, form-fitting, lockable connection of the connecting parts with the Tub.
- Another advantage of this configuration is that both at the factory already existing bathtub models as well as by the customer It is possible to retrofit existing tubs.
- This is for example for side Shelves on the outside as well as on the inside the tub can be positioned appropriately because of this the user places the shelf in the position most convenient for him can move, even if there are already objects are parked on the shelf or with the connector a lamp is connected.
- Such handling is with a connector that is attached to the tub via rubber suction cups is not possible.
- Another advantage is there in that the connecting parts due to their positive locking are easily detachable by lifting, so that the underlying one Tub area but also the connector itself is easy to clean.
- the connector with locking means especially in the area the claw-like recess is provided.
- the locking means can be locked by locking pins or the locking elements, a portion of the claw-like recess yieldingly narrow, be trained.
- the locking means by at least one molded nose protruding into the claw opening be slightly different when pushed onto a "railing" deformed and then engages behind the railing bar.
- at least one on the tub surface attachable suction cup can be used for an additional locking of the Connector are taken care of.
- the suction cup on the inner wall of the tub on the surface of the tub edge or on the one Longitudinal side wall assigned tub outer surface or tiling the assigned building wall can be created.
- the connector is different from its with the projection connectable end up over the upper edge of the tub extends and leans on it. This increases stability of the connecting part.
- the connector with fasteners for Attachment of additional and / or accessory parts is.
- the connector can form a basic shape, the can serve as a neck support, for example.
- Such a thing Basic parts can then be attached. So it is possible, for example, an additional neck pillow to provide that in its amount for the user accordingly your own needs and / or the respective upper body size can be positioned in the tub. So it is possible, corresponding additional parts on such a connection part to order to secure children.
- Another Additional and / or accessory parts is a detachable, if necessary adjustable Attachment of a storage table or one Luminaire conceivable.

- connection part designed as a splash guard a carrier part and an associated splash guard surface having.
- the splash guard surface can either be made of a stiff smooth material be produced or in a preferred form from a flexible material, for example a film material or also consist of a dense fabric material.
- a flexible material for example a film material or also consist of a dense fabric material.
- the carrier part at least partially collapsible is. This gives the possibility of the splash guard collectively and in a closet or a storage room if such a device is rarely used. Otherwise, the splash guard according to the invention, regardless of whether it is designed as a rigid system or as a collapsible system is, after removing from the tub edge on a building wall be hung up, so that here a small space requirement given is.
- Fig. 1 is a cross section through the room-side free Edge 1 of a tub trough 2 is shown, which in an essentially horizontally aligned edge portion merges. On the tub outside closes at the edge part 3 to panel 4 reaching to the floor.
- connectable connector 5 is provided, for example is shaped as a neck support and that on his the tub protruding end 6 is claw-like and engages over a web-shaped projection 8 on the tub edge.
- connection part 5 can also be shaped differently, and as will be explained in more detail below, with fasteners for attaching additional and / or accessory parts be provided, for example a bookend and / or a small shelf and / or a reading lamp.
- fasteners for attaching additional and / or accessory parts for example a bookend and / or a small shelf and / or a reading lamp.
- connection part designed as a neck support can appropriate fasteners for a Low voltage reading light may be provided.
- FIG. 1 shows an embodiment in cross section, the at least partially directly on a building wall 7 can be connected.
- a web-shaped projection 8 is formed, what, for example, in bathtubs that consist of one Are molded plastic, can be easily molded.
- the Connection part 5 is in turn at its top the tub rim overlapping end with one of the cross-sectional contour of the projection 8 adapted claw-like recess 9, wherein the upper part 10 is shaped so that it also with a backrest end adjoining the building wall 7 can be put on.
- the front 11 forming the neck contact surface can in this case with a downward groove or recess 12 be provided, into which an additional neck pillow 13 is adjustable and / or releasably via a corresponding clamping element 14 can be used. So there is the Possibility to match his height or in the neck support in the lying position adjustable.
- About the groove 12 can also other additional and / or accessory parts with the connecting part 5 are connected, for example securing means for Toddlers or the like
- an insertion opening 15 is provided in the upper part 10 into which a low-voltage lamp 16 is inserted can be, so that is optimal for a reading user Lighting results.
- FIG. 2 again shows the edge region 1 in a cross section represented a bathtub, in which approximately horizontally extending edge part 3 instead of a molded projection a substantially the contour of the edge 17 of the tub trough following rod-shaped element 18 is arranged, which about at least two support feet 19 at a distance from the surface 20 of the Edge part 3 is connected to the tub body.
- Such Rod-shaped elements 18 can already be factory-made via the feet 19 be connected to the tub. It is also possible, such rod-shaped elements at least in some areas to retrofit an already installed bathtub.
- the upper part 10 of the connecting part 5 provided with a claw-like recess 9, which engages over the rod-shaped element 18.
- the claw-shaped recess 9 are formed so that the free opening 21 is narrower than the largest diameter of the rod-shaped element 18, so that in the manufacture of the connecting part 5 the connecting part made of an elastic material 5 can be "clipped" onto the rod-shaped element and is thus securely attached to the tub edge.
- the connector 5 both in the area of the free Tub edge as well as in the area of a building wall 7 adjacent tub edge can be used.
- the connecting element 5 in the area of its side facing the edge part 3 is shaped so that it extends both into the tub trough can be connected to the projection 8, as this is based on 2 and 3 is shown, but that also an arrangement is possible in which the lower part of the connecting element 5 extends over the exposed outer tub rim.
- This makes it possible to connect one with the connecting part 5 connected storage table 22 on the outside of the tub to leave.
- FIG. 4 shows a side view of a bathtub, which has a projection 8 designed as a “railing”, on the two as a splash guard 24.1 and 24.2 trained connecting parts are attached.
- the splash guard 24 has a claw-like design Foot part 25, which in turn has a claw-like recess which has the rod-shaped element 18 in a form-fitting manner embraces.
