Definitions

  • the invention relates to a rotary edge turner for weaving machines, by means of which by a lathe weave the weft threads were tied at the fabric edges become.
  • This arrangement consists of a rotary driven rotating disc, the geometric center axis of which is parallel to the weft direction of the weaving machine and the rotating disc is driven at the same speed as the bobbin holder carrying the rotating bobbins.
  • the rotating disc has two slots for the leno threads arranged symmetrically to its central axis.
  • the drive on both sides of the weaving machine next to the edge warp threads is carried out in such a way that the rotary disc forming the actual edge rotator is connected via a toothed belt to a drive wheel in a rotationally driven connection.
  • the drive wheel is non-rotatably connected to and driven by a gear-driven countershaft. exaggerated.
  • the countershaft is in turn connected to the main drive of the weaving machine by a toothed belt.
  • Such a drive is expensive, not space-saving, not independent of the main drive and not individually controllable.
  • JP 03 069 627 A is a satellite driver a drive independent of the machine drive known.
  • the rotating disc has external teeth. Furthermore, the rotating disc is rotatably mounted in a bezel-like manner. The leno threads are drawn off from a bobbin wrench, which is rotationally driven and operatively connected to the rotating disc, and fed to a guide opening located centrally in the rotating disc.
  • the rotating disc also has two diametrically opposed eyelets in the rotating disc, through which the thread is guided to the weaving point of the fabric.
  • the external toothing of the rotating disc is in engagement here with the teeth of a drive gear which drives the rotating coil holder in synchronism with the rotating disc.
  • Another object of the invention is on a separate drive for the leno bobbins waiving receiving holder (carousel).
  • a separate drive is said to be according to the prior art prevent the leno threads in the area of Wrap around each other. About thread breaks To avoid this, the leno threads must be untwisted be fed to the rotating disc.
  • the solution according to the invention also enable that conventional rotating coils, so-called king coils, can continue to be used. That is long Machine run times, in contrast to use of satellite rotating coils.
  • the electromotive actuator it is now possible for the first time to control the sequence of movements of the individual edge turning machines independently of one another and independently of the weaving machine drive. It is conceivable, for example, that the setting of the weft threads can take place depending on the type of the weft thread and that the setting of the weft thread on the side of the weft thread insertion is before the setting of the weft thread on the weft thread arrival side.
  • Rotary disc including ultimately an oscillating one Reversal of the direction of rotation can be understood on the Drive of the rotating coil holder can be dispensed with, because in every case the twists or loops the leno threads on the way between the Rotary coils and the rotating disc through a certain number of right turns Rotary disc, by the same number of left turns the same rotating disc, picked up again become.
  • a self-contained edge-turning device can also be created, which can be attached individually within the weaving machine and whose functional elements are largely shielded from fiber fly.
  • this edge turner can be installed as close as possible to the weaving point and between the shaft frame and the healds of the first heald frames, as seen against the weaving direction, according to the reed. This means that the number of usable heald frames in the direction of the warp beam is not limited by edge turning devices.
  • edge turner Due to the compact design of the edge turner is in the event of an article change or a weave width adjustment a quick positioning of the edge turner to the changed conditions on the Weaving machine possible.
  • Rotary edge rotator within the first Heald frames before the reed clearly show that the Rotation of the leno threads when using a rotary edge turner is only about 80 mm during the Twist threads with a satellite twist a stroke of have to run about 180 mm to get a sufficient To achieve leno thread opening.
  • the rotary edge turner exists according to Fig. 1 from a support arm 2 which e.g. a housing according to FIG with a clamping part 2a for a positive connection with a component 3 of the weaving machine, which component 3 is connected to component 4 and the component 4 with means for adjusting the weaving width communicates.
  • a support arm 2 which e.g. a housing according to FIG with a clamping part 2a for a positive connection with a component 3 of the weaving machine, which component 3 is connected to component 4 and the component 4 with means for adjusting the weaving width communicates.
  • a drive wheel 5 e.g. a gear, from a drive belt 6, e.g. a toothed belt, partially wrapped around and on one Rotary disc 7 out.
  • the drive wheel 5 is non-rotatable with the armature shaft of an electromotive actuator 20 connected.
  • the support arm 2 forms a three-point bezel bearing with the bearing rollers 8, 9, 10 at one end.
  • the rotating disk 7 is designed, for example, in the manner of a toothed ring and has external teeth (not shown) with which the teeth of the drive belt 6 mesh.
  • the bearing rollers 8,9,10 are rotatably mounted on axes 8a, 9a, 10a. These axes are fastened at three points spaced apart from one another on the support arm 2 in such a way that they form the three-point steady rest.
  • the bearing rollers 8, 9, 10 act on one side of the drive belt 6 wrapping around the rotating disk 7 and center the rotating disk 7 in the process.
  • the rotating disc 7 has two slots 7b, 7c, which are arranged symmetrically to the center axis 7a of the rotating disc 7 and are designed in the form of a circular arc.
  • a leno thread 11, 12 supplied by the leno thread bobbins 21, 22 (FIG. 3) is passed through each slot 7b, 7c.
  • rotary edge-turning device shown here is an edge-turning device arranged on the left-hand side of the weaving machine
  • a further edge-turning device is arranged on the right-hand weaving machine side.
  • Both rotary edge rotators are arranged in the area of the free space between the shaft frame, not shown here, and the strands of the first heald frames, which, seen in the weaving direction 30, are located in front of the reed 18.
  • a left-hand rotary edge rotator 1 is also connected to the component 3 via the clamping part 2a by means of a machine element 16.
  • the support arm 2 is designed here as a housing that can be closed with a cover.
  • the loom is just through a sley located in the rear end position and one in the front weft stop position located drawer 17 with reed 18 and an auxiliary blowing nozzle arranged on the sley 17 19 shown.
  • the drive wheel 5 which on the upper part of the Support arm 2 is added, stands with an electric controllable servomotor 20 in operative connection.
  • the axis 21a of the drive belt 6 exciting Roller 21 is within one in the housing wall existing longitudinal guide 22 added. By Displacement of the roller axis 21 a in the longitudinal guide 22, the belt tension of the drive belt 6 is adjustable.
  • an electrically controllable Actuator 20 as a drive for the rotator 7 of the Rotary edge rotator 1 allows the weaving machine manufacturer on a separate rotary drive to waive for the leno thread bobbins 21,22 because z. B. by programming a number of rotations of the servomotor 20 and thus by a fixed Number of revolutions of the rotating disc 7 in the one direction and by the same number of revolutions a loop in the opposite direction the leno threads fed from the rotator bobbins 21, 22 11.12 no longer occurs in the rear compartment.
  • a servomotor 20 as a drive for the rotating disc 7 also allows the direction of rotation of the rotating disc 7 to drive weft for weft reversibly. In this case too, a separate drive for the rotating coils 21, 22 is not required.
  • Fig. 4 is within that forming the rotary disc 7 Wreath of the edge turner 1 a first leno bobbin 31 axially parallel to a second leno bobbin 32 pivoted.
  • the storage of the leno bobbin 31.32 is designed so that when Leno thread withdrawal a certain self-braking effect takes effect, i.e. the leno thread bobbins are 31, 32 not freely rotating. It is possible to use the leno threads 11, 12, which are guided through the eyelets 7b, 7c, as required from the rotating coils 31, 32 in the direction Subtract tissue formation 30.
  • each weft 15 is tied off by the leno threads 11, 12 or there are binding misfires, ie a leno weave is brought about after two or three weft thread entries. Such a leno edge is shown in FIG. 5.
  • weft threads 15 on the fabric edge 23 in the direction of the goods take-off see also arrow direction 26, from the weaving machine through the leno threads 11, 12 as a single weave (each end of the weft thread 15 is tied) and as a binding misfire (after two or three weft entries there is one Bonding of the end of the weft thread 15) is shown.
  • FIG. 6 shows another advantageous application variant which the servomotor-operated rotary edge rotator offers.
  • the course of movement 27 of the shedding device is shown with one complete revolution of the main loom shaft with shutting down 27a.
  • the intersections 24 and 25 represent the closing of the shed after the entry of a first weft 15 and before the entry of a second weft 15 in the open shed.
  • the selvedge 1 In order to guarantee a correct entry of the weft thread 15 into the shed of the leno threads 11, 12 and to be able to tie off the ends of the inserted weft thread 15 by means of the selvedge 1, it is necessary that the selvedge 1 has a movement path 28 of the leno shed that is adequate for the shed formation guaranteed. This is made possible by a corresponding speed control of the rotary disc 7 by means of the servomotor 20.
  • the course of motion 28 of the lathe compartment is shown in the course of movement 27 of the shedding device. During the shutdown 27a, the leno compartment reaches its largest opening. The course of movement 27 coincides in points 29 with the course of movement 28.
