Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for producing packaging from two partial packs, each for a group of cigarette packs or similar packs, being a one-piece Cut to form the partial packs with an open longitudinal side wall is folded and the groups over the long side walls are introduced into the associated partial packs, and wherein mutually facing inner walls of the partial packs V-shaped between the groups come to rest and over a border connection are interconnected.
  • Packs produced by the process mentioned at the beginning are used to hold groups of packs of cigarettes and are often referred to in practice as cigarette sticks.
  • the packs are divisible, such that the two part packs each form independent units with one Group of, for example, five packs of cigarettes.
  • the partial packs are not just broken down along one severing perforation line, but additionally by glue dots in the area of each other facing inner walls of the partial packs are attached.
  • the partial packs are in the area of the longitudinal side walls and end walls extending, perforated Adhesive strips joined together, cf. EP-A-0 344 466.
  • the object of the invention is the known method to improve and powerful, for industrial To propose manufacturing more suitable solution.
  • the method according to the invention is used to achieve this object characterized in that the connecting the inner walls Edge connection during or immediately after folding the partial packs is severed and that the partial packs after separating the Edge connections are connected to each other by adhesive strips.
  • a special feature of the packaging according to the invention is accordingly in that the two partial packs from a common, made in one piece, but this during the manufacturing process or machine-cut immediately afterwards is so that two separate partial packs are created. These will in a suitable detachable manner.
