Claims (8)

  1. Dispositif d'arrêt pour une cabine d'ascenseur ou pour un contre-poids, formé d'un carter (1) qui entoure une branche libre (4) d'un rail de guidage (5) et qui comporte une cavité (2) dans laquelle sont disposés d'un côté de la branche libre (4) une plaque de frein (3) et de l'autre côté de ladite branche libre (4) un étrier (6) qui définit avec la branche libre (4) une fente cunéiforme (8) pour un rouleau d'arrêt (11) guidé par l'étrier (6), une force de freinage étant générée entre la plaque de frein (3) et la branche libre (4),
       caractérisé en ce que l'étrier (6) comporte des moyens (16, 21) pour ajuster l'écartement entre le rouleau d'arrêt (11) et la branche libre (4), l'étrier (6) étant mobile le long d'un chanfrein cunéiforme (14) disposé au niveau du carter (1), et en ce que l'étrier (6) comporte, du côté du rail de guidage, une coulisse (9) à section en U qui définit avec la branche libre (4) la fente cunéiforme (8), les surfaces frontales de la coulisse (9) servant de chemins de roulement (10) pour les axes (12) du rouleau d'arrêt (11).
  2. Dispositif d'arrêt selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la coulisse (9) se transforme, en bas et en haut, en une extrémité circulaire qui limite la course de roulement du rouleau d'arrêt (11).
  3. Dispositif d'arrêt selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la coulisse (9) comporte, dans la partie inférieure, une partie surélevée en forme de chanfrein de commande supplémentaire (13), grâce à laquelle le rouleau d'arrêt (11) est amené plus rapidement vers la branche libre (4) du rail de guidage (5).
  4. Dispositif d'arrêt selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'étrier (6) comporte un prolongement rectangulaire (7) dépassant du carter (1), sur lequel sont prévus des moyens pour déplacer l'étrier (6) le long du chanfrein cunéiforme (14).
  5. Dispositif d'arrêt selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu une fente longitudinale (15) traversant l'étrier (6) dans le sens vertical et s'avançant jusque dans le prolongement (7), qui confère à l'étrier (6) l'élasticité nécessaire.
  6. Dispositif d'arrêt selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu, sur le carter (1), une plaque de recouvrement (18) qui maintient l'étrier (6) mobile.
  7. Dispositif d'arrêt selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le rouleau d'arrêt (11) présente une surface d'enveloppe cylindrique moletée pourvue d'axes de rouleau (12), disposés sur les surfaces frontales du cylindre, qui roulent sur les chemins de roulement (10).
  8. Dispositif d'arrêt selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu un bras d'actionnement (20) qui met le rouleau d'arrêt (11) en mouvement en cas d'incident.
