Definitions
- the invention relates to a hexagon or pentagon stone as a decorative composite paving element or composite panel element, in particular made of concrete or ceramic material.
- paving stones or slabs are known, which are designed square, rectangular, hexagonal or in some special shapes. This also includes, for example, composite stones with wavy side designs or decorative paving stones, in which the side surfaces can be curved.
- the hexagon or pentagon stone mentioned at the outset is characterized in that exactly one eighth of the total area in the edge region is left out of a square stone, concrete or ceramic plate, this recess optionally being rectangular or as a right-angled isosceles triangle is trained.
- the hexagon or pentagon stone according to the invention thus consists of a square plate, of which only seven eighths remain by removing one eighth. Already two of these seven-eighth stones or slabs put together result in an optically interesting laying pattern. The places of the stones or slabs where the recess is present can be joined together. A combination with conventional stones is possible if the dimensions of the triangular isosceles triangle removed are related to the dimensions of such conventional stones.
- the pentagon stone can be formed by the recess formed as a right-angled isosceles triangle, which has three right angles and two angles of 135 degrees between its boundary lines. This results in the side corresponding to the hypotenuse of the recessed or removed right-angled triangle with the the corresponding side of a second pentagon stone in the composite, the sides of the two stones lying at 135 ° from the ends of the lying sides, which are at right angles to each other, have half the length of the sides of the stones lying parallel to you. This creates angular spaces with right-angled boundaries adjacent to these adjacent sides of two stones.
- the rectangular recesses of two stones or slabs joined together rotated by 180 ° fit into one another, the recess of one stone corresponding to one eighth of a square being filled by the neighboring region of this recess of the other stone.
- the recessed eighth extends on one side of the stone over half its size, on the side at right angles to it over a quarter of the length of this stone, so that two stones that interlock by 180 ° at these recesses in turn form rectangular angular spaces adjacent to their contact, whose boundary sides correspond to half the stone width.
- the pentagon stone according to the invention can also be used in such a way that it is used together with other such or others Stones or plates are provided as a vertically to be laid wall cladding panel, the surface of the stones arranged in the composite being optionally offset from one another in relief.
- this recess 2 is rectangular, in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 this recess is designed as a right-angled isosceles triangle 3, in both exemplary embodiments this recess extends on at least one side line 4 of the square plate which is intended, right up to the center thereof and is linearly limited.
- this pentagonal stone 1 has three right and two angles of 135 ° between its boundary lines 4, 5 and 6.
- the side line 5 corresponding to the hypotenuse of the recessed or removed triangle 3 fits due to the regular shape and the isosceles formation of the triangle 3 and the measure to let this hypotenuse extend exactly to the middle of the straight side lines 4 with the corresponding side 5 of a second pentagon - Bricks 1 together as shown schematically in Fig. 4 and also in several laying examples according to Figures 6 to 12.
- the side lines 4 of the two stones 1 which extend from the ends of the side lines 5 lying at 135 ° and are thus at right angles to one another, each have half the length of the sides 6 of the stones 1 lying parallel to them.
- FIG. 6 the arrangement of two stones 1 lying with their boundary lines 5 of their triangular recesses 3 according to FIGS. 3 to 5 is also indicated for comparison in order to clarify that the laying pattern according to FIGS. 6 to 12 also includes such stones 1 a rectangular recess 2 can be formed. This is because there are side lines 4 which are at right angles to one another and lead away from one another and thus angular spaces into which corresponding additional stones or additional stones can be inserted in accordance with the laying patterns of the examples shown.
- the pentagon stone according to the invention is particularly well suited for the fact that eight pentagonal stones 1, alternating with a long side 6 and an inclined side 5, enclose a square stone plate 7 between them.
- the invention can also be referred to as a kit, to which several stone shapes belong, the most important of which is the pentagonal stone according to the invention, to which square or rectangular further stone slabs 7, 8, 9 and 10 of different sizes can belong, as shown in FIGS Embodiments is shown.
- the stone 1 according to the invention can be used together with other stones or slabs that are the same or different, as well as a vertically to be laid wall cladding panel, with the surfaces of the stones arranged in the composite possibly even having different heights relative to a common plane can be offset against each other can.
- the recesses each have at least one right angle, in fact only one in FIG. 3 and even four in FIG. 1, the pentagonal stones according to the invention according to FIGS. 2, 4 and 6 are advantageously obtained from the common one when the inventive pentagons are put together Connection side line 5 outgoing right angles, which facilitates a combination with other pentagonal stones according to the invention or very simple square or rectangular stones.
- the hexagon or pentagon stone 1 is formed in that exactly one eighth of the total area is recessed from a square basic shape, this recess extending at least on a side line 4 of the square exactly to the center thereof and being straight-line bounded, and wherein this recess is either a rectangle 2 or a right-angled isosceles triangle 3, a side line corresponding to half the length of the side lines 4 of the original square.
