Definitions
- the invention relates to an arrangement for producing a screen printing stencil according to the preamble of claim 1 (US-A-3981237).
- Screen printing stencils are either created galvanoplastic or so-called lacquer stencils are produced.
- an already permeable fabric e.g. a perforated film or stencil gauze, for circular stencils in the form of a cylinder, coated with a light-sensitive lacquer.
- a lacquer stencil is obtained, the openings of which are partially closed by the hardened photoresist, but are in part permeable to the dye.
- the production of these paint stencils is very complex; a color separation must be drawn for each paint stencil to be made, from which a line negative must then be made in film production. Then e.g.
- Fig.l shows schematically the device according to the invention in oblique view.
- 2 and 3 show two views of the tension roller holder.
- bearings 2, 3 are provided for a template tensioning roller 4.
- Parallel guides 5 for a guide carriage 6 are provided parallel to the axis of the stencil tension roller 4.
- the operating switches 27 of the device are only indicated schematically.
- the stencil tensioning roller is a circular cylinder that is expandable in the circumferential direction and runs precisely in the tensioned state, which is held on only one side for the mounting and removal of the stencils. It therefore has carrier tubes 7 at its two ends.
- a tensioning roller drive 8 is provided for the template tensioning roller 4, which interacts with a pulse generator 9.
- the tension roller drive 8 is shown as a gear drive.
- it is more favorable to provide a flat belt drive, as in FIG. 2 or 3, where a belt 19 is guided over two rollers 20, 21.
- a stepper motor for the guide carriage 6 there is a separate feed drive 10, expediently a stepper motor, the number of steps of which is to be selected so that the feed carriage can be advanced step by step by 10 ⁇ m.
- a stepper motor 10 is shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, this stepper motor 10 driving a screw spindle 18 which is in engagement with the guide carriage 6.
- FIG. 1 Another embodiment for the feed drive can be seen in FIG.
- an endless belt 24 is guided over two rollers 22, 23, this belt 24 being anchored at 25 on the guide carriage 6.
- the guide carriage 6 is then moved accordingly by driving the roller 22 or 23.
- the band 24 can also be replaced by a pull rope.
- a laser device 11 emits a laser beam 13 at the laser beam output 12, which is directed via two deflection stations 14 to a deflection mirror 15 on the guide carriage 6.
- An adjustment support 16 is provided for adjusting the position of the deflecting mirror 15 relative to the template tensioning roller.
- the deflecting mirror 15 has the task of deflecting the laser beam 13 guided parallel to the axis of the template in a direction perpendicular to the template wall.
- the pattern to be applied to the template is converted into control impulses, which can be done on the one hand by scanning a template or by storing it in an electronic system. These control pulses actuate the laser device accordingly and thus a laser beam 13 is point-wise directed onto the stencil stretched on the stencil clamping roller 4. At its point of impact, this laser beam removes the material covering the perforated film, so that the opening in the template is again exposed. In this way, the desired pattern can be transferred point by point to the template, and by jointly controlling the laser device 11 and the guide carriage 6, the pattern to be applied can also be easily repeated on the template.
- the stencil tensioning roller 4 can be designed as a circular cylinder which is expandable in the circumferential direction and runs exactly in the tensioned state. It goes without saying that care must be taken to ensure that the concentricity of the stencil roller has the smallest possible tolerances.
- the support tube 7 At the headstock-side, ie in the drawing at the left outer end, the support tube 7 has a coupling which allows a play-free and largely rigid in the direction of rotation, but flexible in the other direction, flexible, flexible coupling of the pulse generator 9; the clutch is indicated at 26 in FIGS. 2 and 3.
- the right-hand end can be arranged in a bearing 2 that is provided with a pneumatic lowering device 28.
- the stencil tensioning roller 4 is driven in the direction of rotation in such a way that only minimal synchronism fluctuations occur and other vibration excitations, such as torsional and bending vibrations, are kept extremely small and well damped.
- a collectorless, speed-controlled DC motor can be used as the drive.
- the focal length of the laser optics can be in a range, for example between 20 and 100 mm, and a servo slide that adjusts or adjusts the optics should subsequently be provided in order to compensate for unacceptable running errors of the template tensioning roller 4.
- Fig. 1 the laser beam 13 between the individual deflection elements is shown freely. However, it is of course possible to guide the laser beam in a telescopic tube or the like.
