In der Tabelle V sind für drei verschiedene Temperaturbereiche und vier verschiedene pH-Wertbereiche die Schaumhöhe und die Schaumstabilität angegeben. So entsteht beispielsweise bei 43°C und einem pH-Wert von 8 bis 10 ein Null-Schaum. Dies zeigt den Einfluß der Propoxylierung des Ethoxylierten Alkylamins. Wenn der pH-Wert von etwa 8 auf etwa 6 lallt, so ist aus der Tabelle zu ersehen, daß der Einfluß der Propoxylierung abnimmt. Es sei daraufhingewiesen, daß dies die »dynamische Schaumhöhe« ist. Die dynamische Schaumhöhe unterscheidet sich von der »statischen Schaumhöhe« dadurch, daß der Spray- bzw. Sprühmechanismus im letzteren Falle ausgeschaltet ist. Wenn einmal der Spray- bzw. Sprühmechanismus bei pH-Werten innerhalb des Bereiches von 6 bis 8 ausgeschaltet ist, fällt der Schaum sehr schnell zusammen. Der Wert einer 43°C-Säulc bei einem pH Wert von 6 mit einer dynamischen Schaumhöhe von 6 und einer Schaumhöhe nach 5 Minuten von 0 wäre eine 15,2 cm-Säule, die innerhalb von etwa 30 Sekunden auf 0 zusammengefallen wäre. In entsprechender Weise sind bei einem pH-Wert von 4 etwa 50 Sekunden erforderlich, nachdem der Spray- bzw. Sprühmechanismus ausgeschaltet worden ist, bis die Schaumhöhe auf 0 zusammenfällt.

worin η einen durchschnittlichen Wert innerhalb des Bereiches von 1 bis 50 hat;
Bereiches von 6 bis 24 hat.
einem Repulpierverfahren zum Defibrieren von sekundären Fasern sowie in einem Verfahren zur Herstellung von Papier aus sekundären Fasern.
