Description

DEUTSCHES
In der Patentanmeldung D 14 553 IVc/8i wurde darauf hingewiesen, daß bei der Bleiche oder Wäsche von aus synthetischen Polyamidfasern bestehenden oder solche enthaltenden Erzeugnissen mit peroxydhaltigen Bleich- oder Waschmitteln die Gefahr besteht, daß das Fasermaterial beträchtlichen Schädigungen unterliegt, die zu Festigkeitsverlusten, welche bis auf 40 bis 80°/0 der Ausgangsfestigkeit, bei öfter wiederholter Anwendung dieser peroxydhaltigen Wasch- oder Bleichmittel bis zur völligen Zerstörung des Fasermaterials steigen können, führen. Diese Faserschädigungen gehen beträchtlich über diejenigen hinaus, die bei der üblichen Behandlung von aus Cellulosefaserstoffen bestehenden Erzeugnissen unter ähnlichen Bedingungen mit solchen peroxydhaltigen Bleich- oder Waschflotten zu erwarten sind. Es wurde in der obenerwähnten Patentanmeldung D14 553IVc/8i gezeigt, daß es möglich ist, durch den Zusatz von stickstoffhaltigen Faserschutzmitteln zu den peroxydhaltigen, für die Behandlung von aus Polyamidfasern bestehenden oder solche enthaltenden Textilerzeugnissen bestimmten Wasch- oder Bleichflotten den Eintritt der oben beschriebenen Faserschäden zu vermeiden oder zumindest weitgehend zu vermindern.
Den Gegenstand der Patentanmeldung D 14 553 IVc/8i bildet die Verwendung von Polyaminen, ζ. Β. Diaminen, die mindestens eine primäre oder sekundäre und eine primäre, sekundäre oder tertiäre Aminogruppe oder in Form von Carbonamid- oder Sulfonamid-Stickstoff vorliegende Stickstoffgruppe enthalten, die über eine bis zu sechs Kohlenstoffatome enthaltende Kohlenwasserstoffkette miteinander in Verbindung stehen, als Faserschutzmittel für die Bleiche von synthetischen Polyamidfaserstoffen. Das Methylendiamin oder dessen Substitutionsprodukte, welche zwischen zwei basischen Stickstoffgruppen, von denen mindestens die eine primärer oder sekundärer Natur sein soll, nur ein Kohlenstoffatom enthalten, wurden im Rahmen der Patentanmeldung D 14 553 IVc/8i nicht ausdrücklich erwähnt, da angenommen werden mußte, daß auf Grund der mangelhaften Beständigkeit des Methylendiamins auch dessen Substitutionsprodukte für den erfindungsmäßigen Zweck als Faserschutzmittel für die Polyamidfaserbleiche mit Peroxydbleichmitteln nicht brauchbar seien.
Inzwischen hat sich aber bei der Weiterentwicklung des Verfahrens der Hauptpatentanmeldung D14 553 IVc/8i gezeigt, daß sich die Abkömmlinge des Methylendiamins, die mindestens eine primäre oder sekundäre basische Aminogruppe enthalten, ausgezeichnet als Faserschutzmittel für die Behandlung von synthetische Polyamidfasern enthaltenden Textilerzeugnissen als Schutz oder zur Verminderung von Peroxydschädigungen eignen.
So kann beispielsweise das Methylen-di-anilin C6H5 -NH-CH2-NH-C6H5 oder das Methylen-di-p-toluidin CH3 ■ C6H 4· NH -;CH2 · NH · C6H4 · CH3 mit sehr gutem Verfahren zur Behandlung
von synthetischen Polyamidfasern mit peroxydhaltigen Bleich- oder
Waschmitteln

Erfolg zu peroxydhaltigen Wasch- oder Bleichbädern, die für die Behandlung von polyamidartig aufgebauten synthetischen Faserstoffen bestimmt sind, als Faserschutzmittel hinzugefügt werden. Bei einem Vergleichsversuch, bei dem eine peroxydhaltige Bleichflotte, die keine Faserschutzmittel im Vergleich zu einer solchen, die 0,5 g Methylendianilin pro Liter enthielt, geprüft wurde, wurde gefunden, daß der durch den Bleichprozeß bewirkte Festigkeitsverlust der Polyamidfasern durch die Gegenwart des erwähnten Faserschutzmittels von 32 auf 8% herabgesetzt wurde, ohne daß dabei eine Beeinträchtigung des Bleicheffektes bewirkt wird.
Beispiel 1
Ein Material aus polymerisiertem ε-Caprolactam wurde mit einem Bad vorbehandelt, das je Liter 10 g folgender Waschpulvermischung enthielt:

Dazu kamen bestimmte Schutzstoffmengen. Die Waschbäder mit dem Garn aus polymerisiertem e-Caprolactam wurden innerhalb einer Stunde bei einem pH-Wert von 10,2 auf 90Q C erhitzt und dann eine Stunde auf dieser Temperatur gehalten. . . _ .
Die in der Tabelle angegebenen »Reißkilometer unbehandelt« sind die Ausgangsfestigkeit des Materials aus polymerisiertem eJCaprolactam. Die »Reißkilometer behandelt « geben die Reißfestigkeit nach zweistündiger Behandlung in dem Perboratwaschbad der obengenannten Zusammensetzung an.

Beispiel 2
Strangmaterial aus Seide aus polymerisiertem ε-Caprolactam mit einem Titer von 60 den wurde während 2 Stunden bei einer Temperatur von 7O0C unter gelegentlichem Umziehen in einem Bad behandelt, das pro Liter 5 ecm Wasserstoffperoxyd (35 %) und 1 ecm handelsübliches Wasserglas enthielt. Das zum Ansetzen des Bleichbades verwandte Wasser hatte einen DH (deutschen Härtegrad) von 6, das pH von 9,9 wurde durch Zugabe kleiner Mengen Natronlauge eingestellt.
In einem anderen Versuch wurden zu dem analog zusammengesetzten Bleichbad bestimmte Schutzstoffmengen zugesetzt. Die Bleiche wurde unter den gleichen Bedingungen durchgeführt.
Die Ergebnisse sind in der nachstehenden Tabelle zusammengefaßt. Unter »Reißkilometer unbehandelt« ist die Ausgangsfestigkeit der Seide angegeben; »Reißkilometer behandelt« gibt die Reißfestigkeit der gebleichten Seide wieder.

Claims (2)

PATENTANSPRÜCHE:
1. Weitere Ausbildung des Verfahrens nach Patentanmeldung D 14 553 IVc/8i zur Behandlung von synthetischen Polyamidfasern oder aus diesen bestehenden oder solche enthaltenden Textilerzeugnissen mit peroxydhaltigen Bleich- oder Waschmitteln, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung von Methylendiamin, dessen Derivaten oder seinen Salzen, die mindestens eine primäre oder sekundäre basische Stickstoffgruppe enthalten und deren Brückenkohlenstoffatom durch beliebige Gruppen substituiert sein kann, oder von Gemischen dieser Stoffe als Faserschutzmittel zur Verhinderung oder Verminderung des Eintrittes von Peroxydschäden.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung von Methylendianilin oder Methylenditoluidin, insbesondere Methylen-di-ptoluidin.
