多层物料
技术领域
本发明涉及一种通过多层物料压模的方式制备多层制品的方法。
背景技术
美国专利US4876052描述了一种圆柱形多层物料(图1),其特征在于功能树脂3被完全地包裹到合成树脂2中。功能树脂和外层树脂具有本质上的不同。例如,功能树脂具有良好的阻气性,而却根据树脂的机械和卫生特性来挑选形成外层的树脂。这些多层物料允许通过压模所述物料来获得多层制品。然而,根据美国专利US4876052所描述的方法而制得的制品,其要求制品中有大量的功能性树脂,因此产生了两个主要的缺点:第一是高额的成本;第二是对机械应力具有降低了的抵抗力。在功能性树脂和外层树脂之间缺乏粘着性从而降低了制品的坚实性,并且产生外层减聚力的风险。美国专利US4876052的另一个缺点在于这样的事实,即很难调整树脂2和3各自的量,这些量被制品的几何形状和物料压缩过程中的流量所固定。
日本专利JP2098415提出了从圆柱形物料(图2)开始通过压模的多层制品的制备,其特征在于合成树脂2仅覆盖了功能性树脂3的侧面。沿着该物料的对称轴进行压模制备具有多层结构的制品,该制品的特征在于合成树脂2部分地包裹了功能性树脂3。然而,根据专利JP2098415用两种树脂制备的多层制品有一些主要的缺点:第一,暴露在制品的中心表面区域的功能性树脂3超过了该制品总表面至少10%,并且第二,要求制品中功能性树脂3的量至少为树脂总量的30%。一方面,这样所生产的制品价格昂贵,另一方面,主要在制品的中心处,制品具有严重改变的机械性能。JP2098415的另一个缺点在于很难调整树脂2和3各自的量,这些量被制品的几何形状和物料压缩过程中的流量所固定。专利JP2098415的最后一个缺点在于,两种树脂中至少部分位于制品的表面,根据树脂的使用会产生卫生问题。
在专利JP2098415中,所提出使用的含有3层的圆柱形物料(图3),为了部分消除前面所述的缺陷。该物料的构成为:形成于物料中心部分的第一树脂,仅覆盖第一树脂侧面的功能性树脂3,和仅覆盖功能性树脂侧面的第三树脂2。对该复合物料沿其对称轴进行挤压就形成了多层制品。三层物料使用的优点在于降低了功能性树脂3的使用量,并且与含有单层树脂2的相同制品相比,使用三层物料制备具有微小机械性能改变的物品。该方法可以在不同性质的树脂间添加粘着层,从而改变了制品的粘着性和坚实性。然而,功能性树脂3并没有覆盖多层制品的中心部分,在接近制品表面区域至少10%处表面区域上方对称轴的位置,该树脂产生不具有阻隔特性的制品。没有被阻隔树脂层3所覆盖的该制品的中心区域降低了制品的阻隔性能,并且使得该方案有效性变低。专利JP2098415的最后一个主要缺点在于,三个树脂都至少部分位于制品的表面,根据使用的该树脂会产生卫生问题。
发明内容
本发明允许通过压模制备多层制品,消除了前述问题。
本发明由多层物料组成,该物料具有一个对称轴,用于通过压模的方式制备多层制品,所述物料由第一合成树脂和至少一个细的功能层构成,该功能层形成旋转体的表面,所述功能层被该第一树脂包裹,多层物料的特征在于,所述层仅一端没有被第一树脂所包裹。
根据本发明的第一实施方式,细的功能层3完全被形成物料的树脂2所包裹。所制得的多层制品,其特征在于功能层3完全被包裹在所述制品的侧壁之中,这样只有树脂2呈现在所述制品的表面上。
根据本发明的第二实施方式,将该细的功能层3完全包裹,远离它的末端中的一个,所述末端在所述物料的表面是可见的。所制得的多层制品,含有一个内面和一个外面,其特征在于该功能层3至少不位于该制品表面中的一个上面。
本发明对获得多层制品特别有用,这些多层制品适于在包装领域里使用,特别是用于卫生标准很高的食品领域。

具体实施方式
本发明描述了多层物料,该物料对制备多层制品,以及特别是制备包装物或包装物元件是有利的。由于卫生的原因,通常会要求被包装的物品不与功能树脂直接接触。功能树脂可以是阻隔性树脂,可以将这些树脂用于提供一些特性,这些特性对气体或芳香气味产生密封,或者是粘合剂树脂,这种树脂可以将多层树脂粘合起来。
本发明描述了多层物料,该物料允许获得用于食品领域的包装物或包装物元件,功能层3完全不位于与被包装物品相接触的包装物表面。
根据本发明的第一实施方式,可以发现,具有细功能层3的物料对制备多层制品特别有优势,该细的功能层3完全被包裹在第一树脂2的内部,被制备的多层制品具有良好的卫生特性。所制得的多层制品,其特征在于功能层3被完全地包裹在所述制品的侧壁中,这样只有树脂2出现在在所述制品的表面。
根据本发明的第二实施方式,除了其中一个末端位置以外,功能细层3完全被包裹了,可以在所述物料的表面看到所述的末端。通过在模中压缩物料获得的多层制品,包含一个内面和一个外面,并且其特征在于功能层3至少不位于制品表面中的一个上面。
可以根据本发明制备多种多层物料。所述物料可以是圆柱形或管形,或其他复杂的几何形状。
本发明还涉及了用于制备所述物料的方法。
本发明也描述了通过所述物料的压模获得的多层制品。
图4显示了与本发明第一实施方式相应的多层物料,该物料1由包裹在树脂2中的功能树脂3的细层构成,该功能树脂的细层3含有两个位于树脂2内部的自由末端4和5,所述末端与所述物料的表面之间的距离为6和7,该距离足以使得这些末端同样不位于模塑制品的表面。将功能层3放置在物料中,这样将所述层3分布到遍及模塑制品,在所述制品的表面看不见所述层3。图4显示了一种物料,其中功能层描述了圆柱体的壳,该圆柱体被置于物料对称轴的中心。这种物料具有易于生产的优势。
理想地,功能层3代表物料或制品体积中很少的一部分,通常层3的体积低于总体积的20%,优选为低于10%。
图5展示了由图4所示,从物料的模中压缩获得的多层制品。该制品含有完全被包裹在所述制品侧壁中的细功能层3,所述层3形成一个折,该折与所述制品的外围很接近,所述折以及所述末端4和5均被包裹在所述制品中。
在模中所述物料的压缩期间,物料中细层3和制品中该层的位置关系由多层流量所确定。
已经发现制品中功能层3折的位置取决于所述物料中层3的径向位置;当层3接近物料的外周时,层3的折接近制品的外周。如果层3过于接近物料的外周,就可以在制品的表面发现层3的部分。因此在所述物料中具有层3的最优位置,这将导致延伸层3由延伸以及靠近制品外周的折所形成,所述层3仍然被包裹在制品中。
同样也发现,制品中功能层3的末端4和5的位置基本上与压缩期间的流动无关。还观察到,当功能层3不能被包裹在物料中的时候,很难将该功能层3的末端包裹在制品当中。相反,还发现,当功能层3的末端4和5不位于物料表面时,这些末端也不位于制品的表面。也观察到,层3的末端与物料表面之间很小的距离足以使这些末端不位于制品的表面。层3的末端与物料表面之间的距离6和7足以防止层3的末端位于制品的表面,该距离像50微米那样小。
图6显示了与本发明第二实施方式相应的多层物料。该物料1由包裹在树脂2中的功能树脂细层3构成。该功能树脂细层3含有两个自由末端4和5,第一末端4被完全地包裹在树脂2中,这样末端4完全不位于所述物料的表面,第二末端5则出现在所述物料的表面。通过距离6,将第一末端4与所述物料的表面分开,这个距离足以使该末端不位于模塑制品的表面。将功能层3布置在物料之中,这样将所述层3分布到遍及该模塑制品,在所述制品侧壁的表面看不见所述层3,这些地方卫生的限制是重要的。
图7展示了由图6所示,从物料的模中压缩获得的多层包装物。该包装物具有细功能层3,该层完全不位于与被包装产品相接触的所述包装物侧壁的表面10。功能层3形成了一个接近所述包装物外周的折,所述折和所述末端4均完全被包裹在包装物侧壁中。功能层3的末端5出现在包装物的外表面11的位置上,所述外表面11与被包装的产品不接触。层3仅在包装物表面非常小的部分出现,该表面一般是比整个表面积的1%要小,并且优选的是小于整个表面的0.1%,记住所述层3的小厚度。
通过示例的方式,描述与本发明第一、第二实施方式相应的多个多层物料。
在图8中显示了与本发明第一实施方式相应的物料示例。该物料包括一个被包裹在形成物料的树脂2中的细功能层3。该功能层的侧面和关于末端4、5都被包裹了,这样功能层3完全不位于该物料的表面。该物料含有被置于对称轴中心的孔8。
图9展示了显示在图8中,通过物料的模中压缩获得的管肩。压模发现该功能层3完全不位于所述管肩的内表面10和外表面11,该层3在肩的外周形成一个折,并且所述层3的末端4和5接近所述制品的孔9。
图10显示了根据本发明第二实施方式制备的,含有孔的物料。该物料1由包裹在树脂2中的功能树脂3的细层构成。该功能树脂3的细层包括两个自由末端4和5,第一末端4完全被包裹在树脂2中,第二末端5出现在所述物料的表面上。
图11展示了显示在图10中,通过该物料的模中压缩获得的管肩。压模发现该细层3完全不位于该肩的表面10,所述表面10被放置在该管的内部并与被包装的物品相接触。该层3在该肩的外周形成一个折,并且完全被包裹在管的侧壁中。该层3的末端5出现在外表面11上,该外表面11位于包装物外。
图12是另一个物料示例,其对于制备多层制品特别有利。在树脂2内,细功能层3的末端4和5的包裹允许获得制品,该制品完全没有使所述层3位于表面。这些物料尤其适合制备有或没有孔的多层制品。
图13显示了一种物料,几何上在内部中心具有腔。该多层物料包括一个被包裹在第一树脂2中的细功能层3,该树脂2形成了至少80%的所述物料。层3的末端4位于自物料表面的距离6处,这样在所述物料的压缩期间,所述层3的末端4不位于该制品的表面。
图14显示了一多层物料1,该物料包括至少部分被包裹在第一树脂2中的细功能层3,所述树脂2占了该物料至少80%的体积。层3形成了旋转体的壳,在所述物料的对称轴中心。根据本发明的第一实施方式,层3的末端4和5同样被包裹在第一树脂2中。根据本发明的第二实施方式,只有层3的末端5不被包裹在树脂2中,这样随后在模中压缩该物料,压模仅有该层3的末端5位于模塑制品的表面。
图15显示了另一物料示例,该物料包括两个细功能层3’和3”,在所述物料的对称轴中心,并且至少部分被包裹在第一树脂2中。根据本发明的第一实施方式,层3完全被包裹在树脂2中,即使在它的末端4’、5’和4”、5”的位置也是如此。根据本发明的第二实施方式,只有层3’和3”的末端5’和5”没有被包裹在树脂2中。
图9和11所示的制品由包裹在聚乙烯树脂(PE)中的阻隔树脂细层(EVOH)制成。这些制品对氧气和芳香味具有良好的密封性。
为了简化发明的描述,在图中特意只是显示了被包裹在第二树脂2中的一功能层3。已知只是两个树脂的结合通常在两个树脂的接触面上不会获得足够的粘着性能。通常也习惯使用粘着中间层,其可以使不同性质的树脂结合,同时保证层与层之间良好的粘着水平。因此,在阻隔层的每一边插入一个粘着层可以在多层制品中防止可能出现的层裂或脱裂问题。粘着层和阻隔层是平行的并且量都很小。形成功能层3的粘着层树脂一般表示树脂的量小于形成该物料的总的树脂体积的15%,并且优选的总量小于10%。因此,本发明并不限于图4、6、8、10、12、13和14中所示的3层物料,也可以通常包括5层或更多。
本发明范围内所用的树脂与当前所用热塑性树脂相应,并且特别是对那些用于包装工业的树脂。在可以用于形成功能层3的阻隔树脂中间,引用的是乙烯乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH),聚酰胺,例如尼龙一MXD6、丙烯晴一甲基丙烯酸共聚物(BAREX),氟化高聚物,例如PVDF。在此也列出了一些是用于形成该制品结构2的树脂:聚乙烯(PE)、聚丙烯(PP)、聚苯乙烯(PS)、聚胺(PA)、聚酯(PET)。上述列举并非穷举。在树脂的挑选中,重要的是挑选具有邻近粘度的产品。通常,优选的是使用那些树脂,其在工作温度时,粘度比低于10,并且优选的粘度比低于3。
压模方法包括将合成树脂的多层物料以熔融态流入到模具腔中,通过在所述模具的腔中对所述物料进行压模来制备制品,冷却制品,接着将其从模具中移出。
本发明所制备的制品具有很细的功能层,该功能层能够表现出小于该制品体积的5%。
下面陈述的用于制备多层制品的方法,尤其适用于制备一些制品,例如塞子、盖子、塑胚预塑,或,甚至管肩。该方法也非常适合用于制备板状塑胚预塑,接着将这些板材通过热成型或吹热成型来形成多层制品。
可以根据许多方法来制备前述的物料。
第一方法在于共挤塑树脂以致于形成多层结构,并且至少功能层3是间歇被挤出的。
图16中显示了该方法的示例。一个多层杆被连续地共挤,功能层3的流量是周期的并且是间歇的,层3的周期与所述杆切削的周期相同。该方法特别有利于高速制备多层物料。将该方法有利地运用在制备具有完全被包裹在树脂2中的功能层3的物料。
图17中显示了根据该第一方法进行多层物料制备的第二示例。多层柱被不连续地共挤,这样被共挤树脂的总流量在最大值和0值之间波动,在一个周期中所用的材料量等于一个物料的量。功能层3流入的时间小于树脂2的时间,这样层3的末端被包裹在树脂2中。
根据本发明生产多层物料的第二种方法,该方法在于将层3至少一个末端包裹在树脂2中,所述包裹制备于该挤出模具的外部。
图18中显示了该第二方法的示例。当多层流量流出挤出模具8的时候,切削机9对多层流进行周期切削,从而形成了物料1。该物料包括所述被包裹在树脂2中的功能层3,所述层3的末端5的位置没有被包裹在树脂2中。所述层3的末端4被包裹在树脂2中,在通过切削机9切削多层杆的期间制备该包裹。切削机9的形状、以及所述切削机的切削运动夹带了一些树脂2,这些树脂用来包裹层3的末端4。
图19中显示了根据第二种方法进行多层物料制备的另一示例。从管形多层流形成物料。在挤出模具8的出口处,切削机9周期性切削物料1并且同时将功能层3的末端4包裹在树脂2中。
可以用类似的方法将层3的一个或两个末端包裹在树脂2中。可以将这些方法应用在该物料的切削期间、在将物料转移到到模的腔期间,或者在模具装置内部。这些方法有个共同点,在于改变物料的最初形状,以致于夹带树脂2并且包裹层3的末端。
在此所列举的示例中,物料和制品都是简单的几何形状,但是本发明显然涉及任何形状的物料和制品。
根据本发明所制备的制品含有功能层3,该功能层在靠近制品的外周上形成至少一个折。制品还包括第二个折,该折靠近能够获得的制品对称轴。可以在制品中获得呈锯齿形排列的功能层。
物料中功能层3的多种排列都是可能的。有利的是,将功能层3放置在物料中,这样所述功能层3形成旋转体的壳,该旋转体位于对称轴的中心。当功能层3与对称轴之间的距离是可变的时候,则有利于获得多层制品。
同样可以使用含有多个功能层3的物料,所述功能层均位于所述物料的对称轴的中心。所获得的多层制品,其特征在于将功能层放置的至少部分地一个在另一个的上方,并且每层都形成至少一个折。
可以使用其它形状的物料。已经观察到,部分表面凹陷的物料特别有益。此类物料形状有助于功能层在多层制品中的分布。

Claims (13)

1、通过压模用于多层制品制备的多层合成树脂物料,所述物料具有对称轴并且包括第一合成树脂(2)和至少一个合成树脂的细功能层(3),该细层(3)形成以所述对称轴所确定的旋转体外壳,所述旋转体含有放置在与对称轴平行位置的两个末端,所述物料的特征在于,功能层(3)被包裹在所述第一合成树脂(2)中,完全包裹或以这样的方式,即仅有一个所述末端没有被包裹在所述第一树脂(2)中。
2、如权利要求1所述的物料,其特征在于功能层(3)完全被包裹在第一树脂(2)中。
3、如前面任意一项权利要求所述的物料,其特征在于功能细层(3)本身形成一个多层结构,该结构包括阻隔树脂层,该树脂层被包裹在两个粘着树脂层之间。
4、如前面任意一项权利要求所述的物料,其特征在于功能层的两个末端是开放的。
5、如权利要求1-3中任意一项所述的物料,其特征在于功能层的一个末端是开放的,另一个末端是封闭的。
6、如权利要求1-3中任意一项所述的物料,其特征在于功能层的两端均是封闭的。
7、如权利要求1-6所述来自物料通过压模获得的多层制品,所述制品含有一个内面和一个外面,所述内面确定包装物的内部,所述制品是由所述第一合成树脂(2)和所述细功能层(3)所形成,所述功能层(3)被包裹在所述制品的侧壁中并形成一个折,所述制品的特征在于功能层(3)完全不位于所述内面。
8、如权利要求1-6中任意一项确定的制备所述物料的方法,包括一个步骤,根据该步骤将树脂共挤以致于形成多层流,所述流被周期性地切削以致于形成单个部分,所述部分被转移到压模中,其特征在于使所述部分以这样的方式变形,以致于用第一合成树脂(2)覆盖该功能层(3)至少一个末端。
9、如前面权利要求所述的方法,其特征在于所述部分在切削中是变形的。
10、如权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于所述部分在转移到模的过程中,发生变形。
11、如权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于一旦所述部分位于模具中,发生变形。
12、制备如权利要求1-6中任意一项确定的物料的方法,包括一个步骤,其中以相同的方向共挤树脂,其特征在于它包括一个覆盖步骤,其中仅将所述第一树脂(2)以这样的方式挤出,以致于覆盖所述功能层(3)的至少一个末端。
13、如前面的权利要求中所述的方法,其特征在于一个覆盖步骤,一个共挤步骤和一个覆盖步骤以这样的方式进行连续地应用,以致于完全包裹所述功能层(3)。
