Abstract
包括优选是透明的基材的光学数据载体,任选在该基材上预先涂布一层或几层反射层,在该基材表面上涂布可被光写入的信息层,任选地涂布一层或几层反射层和任选涂布保护层或另外的基材或者覆盖层,它可借助于蓝色光线,优选是激光,或者借助于红外光线,优选是激光写入和读出。该信息层含有光吸收化合物,任选含有胶粘剂,其特征在于,使用至少一种通式(I)的酞菁染料作为光吸收化合物,其中,Me是选自Si、Ge和Sn的双轴向取代的金属原子;Pc是未取代的酞菁,以及X1和X2各自独立地表示卤素,特别是氟、氯或溴。
Description
先有技术:
本发明涉及在信息层中含有至少一种酞菁染料作为光吸收化合物的可一次写的光学数据载体,涉及其制造方法,还涉及通过旋涂法、蒸汽沉积法或者溅镀法在聚合物基材,特别是在聚碳酸酯基材上涂布上述染料的方法。
使用特殊的光吸收物质或其混合物的可一次写的光学数据载体特别适用于用蓝色激光二极管,特别是GaN或SHG激光二极管(360~460nm)操作的高密度可写入光学数据存储器,和/或适用于用红色(635~660nm)或红外(780~830nm)激光二极管操作的DVD-R或CD-R。
近年来,可一次写的光盘(CD-R,780nm)经历了巨大的数量增长,在技术上有了确定的体系。
下一代光学数据存储器-DVD近来已经进入了市场。通过使用更短波长的激光辐射(635~660nm)和更高的数值孔径NA,可以提高存储密度。在此情况下,可一次写的格式就是DVD-R。
当前,已经开发了使用具有高激光功率的蓝色激光二极管(基于GaN,JP-A-08 191,171或SHG(第二代谐波)JP-A-09 050,629)(360~460nm)的光学数据存储格式。因此,在这一代当中也将使用可写入光学数据存储器。可达到的存储密度取决于激光斑在信息平面上的聚焦情况。这里光斑尺寸可用激光波长λ/NA来度量。NA是所用物镜的数值孔径。为了得到尽可能高的存储密度,目标是使用尽可能短的波长λ。目前,在半导体激光二极管的基础上,390nm是可能的。
专利文献叙述了同样适用于CD-R和DVD-R系统的染料基可写入光学数据存储器(JP-A 11 043,481和JP-A 10 181,206)。这里为了达到高的反射率和高的读出信号调制高度,也为了达到足够的写入敏感度,利用了这样一个事实,CD-R红外波长780nm位于染料吸收峰长波侧翼的底部(Flanke),而DVD-R的红色波长635nm或650nm位于该染料吸收峰短波侧翼的底部(参见EP-A 519,395和WO-A00/09522)。在JP-A 02 557,335、JP-A 10 058,828、JP-A 06 336,086、JP-A 02 865,955、WO-A 09 917,284和US-A 5,266,699中,此概念扩展到在吸收峰短波侧翼的450nm工作波长区和在吸收峰长波侧翼的红色和红外区。
除了上述光学性能以外,含有光吸收有机物质的可写入信息层必须具有尽可能无定形的形态,以保持在写入或读出的过程中噪音信号尽可能小。因此,特别优选在通过由溶液中进行旋涂,通过溅镀或者通过蒸汽沉积涂布此物质和/或在随后在减压下用金属或者电介层进行覆盖的过程中进行升华时避免光吸收物质发生结晶。
含有光吸收物质的无定形层应优选具有高的热稳定性,因为若非如此,由溅镀或蒸汽沉积涂布在光吸收信息层上的有机或无机材料的另外的层将由于扩散而形成模糊的边界,由此对反射率带来不利的影响。再者,热稳定性不足的光吸收物质在与聚合物载体的边界会扩散到聚合物载体中,一旦如此将又对反射率造成不良的影响。
在如上所述的高真空下溅镀和/或沉积其它层的过程中,蒸汽压太高的光吸收物质可能会发生升华,这样就将该层的厚度降低到所需值以下。这再次给反射率以不良的影响。
因此,本发明的目的是提供适当的化合物,它要满足在可一次写的光学数据载体中信息层中使用时的高要求(比如,光稳定性、有利的信噪比、在基材上无损涂布等),特别是在激光波长360~460nm的范围内高密度可写入光学数据存储格式中使用的要求。
意外地发现,特殊的光吸收酞菁化合物能够特别好地满足如上所述要求的性质。酞菁在360~460nm的波长范围显示出很强的吸收,此波段对于激光,也就是所谓B带或者Soret带是很重要的。
因此,本发明提供一种光学数据载体,该载体包括优选透明的基材,该基材任选地已涂布一层或几层反射层,在该基材表面上涂布可写入信息层,任选地涂布一层或几层反射层和任选地涂布保护层或者其它基材或覆盖层,它可以借助于蓝色光线,优选是激光,特别是波长360~460nm的光线,特别是380~420nm,很特别优选是390~410nm的光线,或者借助于红外光线,优选是激光,特别是波长760~830nm的光线写入和读出,在此,该信息层含有光吸收化合物和任选的粘结剂,其特征在于,使用至少一种通式(I)的酞菁作为光吸收化合物:

按照本发明使用的酞菁从比如Carl W.Dirk等的J.Am.Chem.Soc.1983,105,1539~1550中,作为制备导电聚合物的前体是已知的,可以如在那里的叙述制备。
它们原则上通过已知的方法制备,比如:
-在相应金属卤化物存在下,通过从邻苯二甲腈或氨基亚氨基异吲哚进行环合成;
-任选地,在适当的溶剂比如吡啶中,将其与水反应,形成通式(I)的酞菁,其中X1=X2=OH;
-任选地,用其他所需的卤化物取代轴向取代基X1=X2=卤素;
-任选地,通过与HX1/HX2反应,用适当的卤化物取代轴向取代基X1=X2=OH。
这些光吸收化合物能够进行热转变。热转变优选在低于600℃的温度下进行。这样的转变可以是比如光吸收化合物发色中心分解或者化学变化。
所述的光吸收物质保证处于未书写状态下光学数据存储器足够高的反射率,以及在用聚焦的蓝色光,特别是用激光,优选用具有360~460nm波长的光线进行点状照射时,对于信息层热降解有足够高的吸收。通过由于在热降解以后信息层光学性能改变而造成的入射光振幅反射率和相位的变化,得到在数据载体上写入点和未写入点之间的反差。
这意味着,优选借助于具有360~460nm波长的激光就能够对光学数据载体进行写入和读出。
同样,优选使具有间隔和几何形状的沟槽,与波长和数值孔径相匹配,借助于红外光线,特别是具有760~830nm波长的激光,能够对光学数据载体进行写入和读出。
本发明进一步提供通式(I)的酞菁作为在光学存储介质的信息层中光吸收化合物的应用。
类似地,本发明提供通式(I)的酞菁在制造光学存储介质方面的应用。优选在该信息层中使用酞菁作为光吸收化合物。
在这些应用中特别优选使用的酞菁,基于使用的材料,其通式(I)酞菁的含量大于90wt%,特别是大于95wt%,特别优选大于98wt%。
很特别优选使用通式(Ia)的酞菁,其在X射线衍射图中在以度(°)度量的2θ下的最大反射如下:10.7,11.6,12.2,13.7,14.2,15.0,15.5,15.7,17.5,18.6,19.8,20.3,20.8,21.4,22.5,23.2,23.7,24.5,25.4,26.0,26.4,26.8,27.2,27.5,28.3,29.4,30.2,30.6,31.6,32.4,33.2,33.8,34.8,35.9,36.7

本发明进一步提供通式(I)化合物颗粒状固体制剂,其特征在于,该颗粒的平均颗粒度为0.5μm~10mm。
在颗粒固体制剂的一个优选实施方案中,优选其平均颗粒度为0.5~20μm,特别是1~10μm的那些(在后面称之为细分散粉末)。可以制备比如通过研磨制备这样的细分散粉末。
同样地,优选平均颗粒度50~300μm的颗粒固体制剂,在后面称之为细结晶形式。
进一步优选的颗粒固体制剂,其平均颗粒度为50μm~10mm,优选100μm~800μm,它们形成作为初级颗粒的附聚体或聚结体(Konglomerate)的颗粒状体。这样的颗粒状体具有例如液滴状、覆盆子状、薄片状或棒状,在后面称之为颗粒状材料。
细结晶形式的颗粒度可以比如通过合成参数来确定。比如在30~60min的时间内,通过例如迅速加热将各个组分(在适当溶剂中的邻苯二甲腈或氨基亚氨基异吲哚和适当的金属卤化物)的混合物加热到反应温度,比如160~220℃,就优选形成细分散形式。当在反应温度,比如160~190℃下仅把金属卤化物加入到反应混合物(在适当溶剂中预先加入邻苯二甲腈或氨基亚氨基异吲哚)中时,就得到类似的结果。通过例如缓慢地,比如在65~250min的时间内将各个组分的混合物加热到反应温度,比如160~220℃,优选形成粗粒形式。
本发明的颗粒固体制剂优选含有:
80~100wt%,优选95~100wt%的酞菁;
0.1~1.0wt%,优选0.1~0.5wt%的残留水分;
0~10wt%的无机盐;
0~10wt%,优选0~5wt%的其他添加剂,比如分散剂、表面活性剂和/或润湿剂,这里在各种情况下,百分比都是以制剂为基础的,所列各部分的总和为100%。
本发明的固体制剂优选含有低的粉尘含量,是可流动的,具有良好的储存稳定性。
此颗粒状材料可以通过各种方法制备,比如通过喷雾干燥粒化、流化床喷雾造粒、流化床附聚造粒(Wirbelschicht-Aufbau-Granulation)或粉末流化床附聚。
优选通过喷雾干燥的方法进行造粒,可能的喷雾装置特别包括旋状盘式雾化器和单流体和双流体喷嘴。优选使用单流体喷嘴,特别是旋转室喷嘴,它优选在20~80bar的进料压力下操作。
喷雾干燥方法的入口和出口温度取决于所需的残留水分含量、取决于安全措施,也取决于经济上的考虑。入口温度优选120~200℃,特别是140~180℃,出口温度优选是40~80℃。
在制造颗粒状材料时,一般地将染料滤饼任选地与助剂和添加剂一起放在搅拌容器中进行强力混合。优选在磨,比如球磨中粉碎悬浮液的晶体,使得得到细分散的可喷雾悬浮液。
在一个优选的实施方案中,染料悬浮液是水悬浮液。造粒以喷雾干燥的方法进行。
本发明进一步提供像片状、棒状等的固体成形体,基于成形体,它含有优选高于90wt%,特别高于95wt%,优选高于98wt%的通式(I)的酞菁。加入到固体成形体中的其他添加剂可以是粘结剂。通式(I)的酞菁和粘结剂的总和优选大于95wt%,优选大于99wt%。
任选地在粘结剂存在下,可以比如通过给通式(I)的酞菁加压来制造这样的成形体,压力为5~50bar,优选10~20bar。
同样地,本发明提供分散液,优选提供水分散液,基于分散液,它含有优选10~90wt%的通式(I)的金属络合物。适当的分散剂是比如基于丙烯酸酯、尿烷或长链聚氧乙烯化合物的聚合物。适当的产品是比如来自Avecia公司的Solsperse 32000或Solsperse 38000。
本发明还提供用通式(I)的酞菁涂布基材的方法。这优选通过旋涂、溅镀或真空涂布(Vakuumbedampfung)来进行。特别是,通过真空涂布或溅镀,特别是真空涂布能够涂布通式(Ia)、(Ib)、(Ic)和(Id)的酞菁。
通过溅镀或真空涂布进行涂布的原料是所有上述形式的通式(I)的酞菁,即细分散粉末、细结晶形式或颗粒状材料、颗粒固体制剂、固体成形体和分散液。后者特别用来在表面上细分散地涂布酞菁,由此通过溅镀或真空涂布可将它们涂布到基材上。
优选为了进行这些操作,酞菁的纯度高于50%,特别优选高于85%,很特别优选高于90%,特别是高于95%,或者高于98%。
酞菁可以与互相混合,或者与具有类似光谱性能的其他染料混合。信息层除了酞菁外还可含有添加剂,比如粘结剂、润湿剂、稳定剂、稀释剂和增敏剂以及其他组分。
本发明进一步提供在基材上蒸汽沉积光吸收化合物以制造光学存储介质的设备,其特征在于,在低的背景压力下通过加热可以使染料蒸发,并将其沉积在基材上。背景压力低于10-1Pa,优选低于10-1Pa,特别优选低于10-4Pa。优选借助于电阻加热或者借助于微波吸收来加热染料。
本发明特别提供如上所述的光学数据载体,其中通式(I)的光吸收化合物任选地与如上所述的添加剂一起形成信息层,该信息层在光学上是无定形的。无定形意味着借助于光学显微镜观察不到微晶,以X射线不能观察到Bragg-反射,而只能产生无定形晕轮(Halo)。
除了信息层以外,在该光学数据载体中还可以具有其他的层,比如金属层、介电层和保护层。金属层和介电层的作用特别是调节反射率和热吸收/保留性能(Wrmehaushalts)。根据激光波长不同,金属可以是金、银、铝、合金等。介电层的例子是二氧化硅和氮化硅。保护层是比如可光固化的涂层、胶粘剂层和保护膜。
胶粘剂层可以是压敏的。
压敏胶粘剂层主要由丙烯酸胶粘剂组成。例如在专利JP-A 11-273,147中公开的Nitto Denko DA-8320或DA-8310可用于此目的。
光学数据载体可具有如下的层结构(参见图1):透明基材(1)、任选的保扩层(2)、信息层(3)、任选的保护层(4)、任选的胶粘剂层(5)、覆盖层(6)。
光学数据载体的结构优选可包括:
-优选透明的基材(1),在其表面上涂布至少一层能够借助于光线,优选激光写入的可光写入的信息层(3),任选地涂布保护层(4),任选地涂布胶粘剂层(5),和涂布透明的覆盖层(6)。

另外,光学数据载体的结构可以:
-包括多个信息层,它们优选被适当的层分离。这里特别优选的分离层是可光固化的涂层、胶粘剂层、介电层或反射层。
本发明进一步提供按照本发明的可借助于蓝色光线,特别是激光,特别优选是具有360~460nm波长的激光写入的光学数据载体。
下面的实施例说明本发明的主题。
实施例
实施例1
在高真空(压力p≈2×10-5mbar)中,从电阻加热的钼舟中蒸发染料二氯硅酞菁(SiCl2Pc),以大约5/s的速度沉积在预先开槽的聚碳酸酯基材上。层厚大约70nm。借助于注塑将预先开槽的聚碳酸酯基材制成盘。盘的直径是120mm,厚度是0.6mm。在注塑方法中得到的槽结构具有大约1μm间距的音轨,这里槽的深度和半深宽度是大约150nm和大约260nm。通过蒸汽沉积的方法在盘上涂布100nm的Ag,该盘以染料层作为信息载体。然后用旋涂的方法涂布可紫外线固化的丙烯酸类涂料,并借助于紫外灯将其固化。借助于构筑在光学测试台上的动态写入测试装置对此盘进行测试,该装置包括产生线性偏振激光的GaN二极管激光器(λ=405nm)、偏振敏感光束分束器、λ/4板(Plttchen)和数值孔径NA=0.65的可移动悬挂集光透镜(激励透镜(Aktuatorlinse))。借助于上述偏振敏感光束分束器从光路中取出(ausgekoppelt)盘的反射层反射的光线,并借助于象散透镜聚焦到四象限检出器上。在线性速度V=5.24m/s和写入功率Pw=13mW下,测量出信噪比C/N=25dB。这里写入功率以脉冲序列的形式施加,用上述写入功率Pw和读出功率Pr=0.44mW交替辐照分别1μs和4μs。该盘用该脉冲序列辐照直至其围绕自身旋转一次。然后以此产生的标记用Pr=0.44mW读出,并测量上述的信噪比C/N。
实施例2
使用与实施例1类似的方法,通过蒸汽沉积在具有同样厚度和槽结构的盘上涂布45nm厚的二氯锗酞菁染料层。使用同样的光学设备和同样的写入策略(写入功率Pw=13mW,读出功率Pr=0.44mW),在线性速度V=4.19m/s测得信噪比C/N=46dB。
使用下面实施例的酞菁类似于实施例1和实施例2的操作,这些酞菁显示出可比拟的性能。
实施例3
使用与实施例1类似的方法,通过蒸汽沉积在具有同样厚度和槽结构的盘上涂布50nm厚的二氯锡酞菁染料层。使用同样的光学设备和同样的写入策略(写入功率Pw=13mW,读出功率Pr=0.44mW),在线性速度V=4.19m/s测得信噪比C/N=40dB。
实施例4
使用与实施例1类似的方法,通过蒸汽沉积在具有同样厚度和槽结构的盘上涂布60nm厚的二氟硅酞菁染料层。使用同样的光学设备和同样的写入策略(写入功率Pw=13mW,读出功率Pr=0.44mW),在线性速度V=4.19m/s测得信噪比C/N=43dB。
实施例5(制造片状体)
在10bar的压力下,在一般用来制造红外光谱仪用溴化钾压片的KBr压机中,给170mg二氯硅酞菁(SiCl2Pc)(其结构式见实施例1)加压,形成小片状体。其直径1.2mm,厚度0.7~0.8mm。
用同样的方法可以把通式(Ib)、(Ic)和(Id)的酞菁转变为片状体。
Claims (12)
