概述
本文档描述了实现基于雷达的手势感测和数据传输的技术和设备。这些技术和设备使得用户能够借助雷达系统而不是多个不同种类的控制设备来控制和传输数据,从而准许用户学习一个简单的系统而不是许多不同的系统来控制他们的设备。另外,这些技术和设备还借助于该雷达系统实现数据传输,从而不仅通过减少控制设备的数量和类型还通过取代其他数据传输系统来降低成本。

在704,接收由与定向的雷达传输进行的交互导致的反射。该交互可干扰或可不干扰雷达传输。在定向的雷达传输包括时分的雷达传输的情况下,时分的雷达传输中的一个可发送数据而另一雷达传输(其配置为从人体组织反射雷达而不是如其它雷达传输那样穿过人体组织)可接收从人体组织的交互所导致的反射。
在706,基于交互确定在定向的雷达传输内做出的手势。该手势可以是要开始数据连接,在这种情况下,可以执行开始与计算设备(其与雷达通信设备关联)的新的数据连接的握手协议。替换地,该手势可替代地是要停止当前数据连接,在这种情况下,关闭数据连接。
在708,基于手势确定关于数据连接的选择。如指出的,这可以是要开始或停止通信。数据连接可传送任何合适类型的数据,例如用户文件、图像、音乐、视频、流式传输内容等等。这样,选择可以是要发起设备之间内容(或媒体)的流、终止内容的流或选择另一设备作为内容的流的目标。在一些情况下,数据连接的状态或借此被传送的数据被确定。例如,如果媒体正在经由数据连接被流式传输,则可确定媒体回放停止的点,以使得当在另一设备处建立数据连接时随后的媒体回放能够在该点恢复。
在710,基于所述选择更改数据连接。不要求在接收设备与雷达通信设备可与之构成整体的计算设备之间有数据连接。这样,例如在雷达传输器414充当与另一设备建立数据或传送数据的传输器的情况下,数据连接可从接收设备到与雷达通信设备连接或关联的第三设备,例如,用户的平板108-3到电视108-2。
在操作710形成数据连接之后,方法700可继续到操作712、714和716。在712,接收由与定向的雷达传输进行的第二交互导致的第二反射。如上面指出的,可在发射设备或接收设备(例如,接收设备108处的天线112)接收来自交互的反射。
在714,基于第二交互确定在定向的雷达传输内做出的第二手势。这可以与上面的方法600中指出的类似方式来完成。例如,接收手势管理器506可确定所述手势属于特定类型或是唯一的,并且将其映射到期望的控制、设备功能和/或实体(例如,以控制接收设备108的特定应用)。
在716,将第二手势传送到应用、操作系统或设备,该第二手势起作用以控制所述应用、操作系统或设备。如上面指出的,传送的手势可控制或引发所述应用、操作系统或设备的任何合适的功能。例如,传送的手势可对由设备呈现的媒体轨的回放进行暂停、推进或跳过。
如用虚线在图7中示出的,方法700可执行操作的一些混合,不包括一些操作以及重复其他操作。因此,在建立数据连接之后,可接收其他控制,从而执行操作712、714和716(例如,以控制接收设备108的相同或其他实体)或重复操作704、706和710(例如,以停止数据连接)。

计算系统800包括实现设备数据804(例如,接收到的数据,正在接收的数据,经调度以用于广播的数据、数据的数据分组等等)的有线和/或无线通信的通信设备802。设备数据804或其他设备内容可包括设备的配置设置、存储在设备上的媒体内容和/或与设备的用户关联的信息。存储在计算系统800上的媒体内容可包括任何类型的音频、视频和/或图像数据。计算系统800包括经由其任何类型的数据、媒体内容和/或数据能被接收的一个或多个数据输入806,例如人类话语、与局部的雷达场的交互、用户可选择的输入(显式或隐式)、消息、音乐、电视媒体内容、记录的视频内容和从任何内容和/或数据源接收的任何类型的音频、视频和/或图像数据。
计算系统800还包括通信接口808,通信接口808可实现为串行和/或并行接口、无线接口、任何类型的网络接口、调制解调器中的任一个或多个,并且可实现为任何其他类型的通信接口。通信接口808提供计算系统800与通信网络之间的连接或通信链路,其他电子、计算和通信设备通过所述通信网络与计算系统800传送数据。
计算系统800包括一个或多个处理器810(例如,微处理器、控制器等中的任一种),其处理各种计算机可执行指令以控制计算系统800的操作并实现用于基于雷达的手势感测和数据传输或在其中可体现基于雷达的手势感测和数据传输的技术。替换地或附加地,计算系统800可借助联系在812大体标识出的处理和控制电路所实现的硬件、固件或固定逻辑电路来实现。尽管未示出,但是计算系统800可包括耦合设备内各种部件的系统总线或数据传输系统。系统总线可包括不同的总线结构的任一种或组合,不同的总线结构例如存储器总线或存储器控制器、外围总线、通用串行总线和/或利用多种总线架构中的任一种的处理器或局部总线。
计算系统800还包括计算机可读介质814,例如实现永久性和/或非暂态数据存储(即,相比于仅信号传输)的一个或多个存储设备,计算机可读介质814的示例包括随机存取存储器(RAM)、非易失性存储器(例如,只读存储器(ROM)、闪存、EPROM、EEPROM等中的任一个或多个)和盘存储设备。盘存储设备可实现为任意类型的磁或光存储设备,例如,硬盘驱动器、可记录和/或可重新写入致密盘(CD)、任何类型的数字多功能盘(DVD)等等。计算系统800还可包括大容量存储介质设备816和雷达系统104,包括雷达系统104的元件或上面在图1中指出的部件中每个的一个或多个或多倍。
计算机可读介质814提供数据存储机构以存储设备数据814以及各种设备应用818和任何其他类型的信息和/或与计算系统800的操作方面相关的数据。例如,操作系统820可被保持为具有计算机可读介质814并且在处理器810上执行的计算机应用。设备应用818可包括设备管理器(例如任何形式的控制应用、软件应用、信号处理和控制模块)、原生于特定设备的代码和用于特定设备的硬件抽象层等等。
设备应用818还包括用以实现基于雷达的手势感测和数据传输的任何系统部件、实体或管理器。在该示例中,设备应用818包括手势管理器406或接收手势管理器506和系统管理器124。
结论
尽管以特定于特征和/或方法的语言描述了使用基于雷达的手势感测和数据传输的技术和包括基于雷达的手势感测和数据传输的装置的实施例,但是要理解随附的权利要求的主体未必限于描述的特定特征或方法。更确切地说,公开了特定特征和方法作为基于雷达的手势感测和数据传输的示例实现方式。

Claims (20)

1.一种计算机实现的方法,包括:
通过雷达通信设备的一个或多个方向传感器接收对用于投射雷达传输的方向的选择;
通过所述雷达通信设备的雷达系统的无线电元件在所选择的方向上投射定向的雷达传输,所述定向的雷达传输从所述雷达通信设备传输数据;
在所述雷达通信设备的天线处接收由与所述定向的雷达传输进行的交互导致的反射;
确定所述交互指示在所述定向的雷达传输内做出的手势;
基于所述手势确定关于对实体的控制的选择;以及
将所述选择传送到实体,所述选择起作用以导致所述控制。
2.如权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,通过包括在所述一个或多个方向传感器内的取向传感器来接收对所述方向的选择。
3.如权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述实体是所述雷达传输被选择为要被定向到的设备。
4.如权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述选择是为了控制所述实体与所述雷达通信设备之间的数据传输。
5.如权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述定向的雷达场包括时分的雷达传输,所述时分的雷达传输中的第一个传输数据并且所述时分的雷达传输中的第二个配置为从人体组织反射雷达,并且其中,接收由所述交互导致的反射接收来自人体组织的和来自所述时分的雷达传输中的第二个的反射。

7.如权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,确定所述交互指示所述手势确定所述手势是人体组织对所述定向的雷达传输的简单中断。
8.如权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述定向的雷达传输是定向束的狭场。
9.一种计算机实现的方法,包括:
在雷达系统的雷达天线处从雷达通信设备接收定向的雷达传输;
在所述雷达系统的雷达天线处接收由与所述定向的雷达传输进行的交互导致的反射;
在与所述雷达系统关联的计算系统处确定所述交互指示在所述定向的雷达传输内做出的手势;
在所述计算系统处并基于所述手势确定关于数据连接的选择;以及
基于所述选择更改所述数据连接。
10.如权利要求9所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述选择是为了开始所述数据连接,并且更改所述数据连接执行握手协议,以开始与另外的计算设备的新的数据连接,所述另外的计算设备与所述雷达通信设备关联。
11.如权利要求9所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述选择是为了停止所述数据连接,并且更改所述数据连接停止所述数据连接。
12.如权利要求9所述的计算机实现的方法,其中所述定向的雷达传输通过物理地将所述雷达通信设备的雷达元件朝向与所述计算设备关联的雷达天线取向来定向。
13.如权利要求12所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述定向的雷达传输是宽场,其在所述宽场的中心处具有与在所述宽场的周边处不同的特性,并且所述方法进一步包括基于接收的雷达的特性确定所述定向的雷达传输被定向到在其上所述方法被执行的计算设备。
14.如权利要求12所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述定向的雷达传输是定向束的狭场,并且所述方法进一步包括基于从所述雷达通信设备接收到雷达来确定所述定向的雷达传输被定向到在其上所述方法被执行的计算设备。
15.如权利要求9所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述定向的雷达场包括时分的雷达传输,所述时分的雷达传输中的第一个发送数据并且所述时分的雷达传输中的第二个配置为从人体组织反射雷达,并且其中,接收由所述交互导致的反射接收来自人体组织和来自所述时分的雷达传输中的第二个的反射。
16.如权利要求9所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,确定所述交互指示所述手势确定所述手势属于特定类型,并且所述选择基于所述特定类型来确定。
17.如权利要求9所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述数据连接是到与所述雷达通信设备连接或关联的第三方设备的。
18.如权利要求9所述的计算机实现的方法,进一步包括:
接收由与所述定向的雷达传输进行的第二交互导致的第二反射;
确定所述第二交互指示在所述定向的雷达传输内做出的第二手势;以及
将所述第二手势传送到应用、操作系统或设备,所述第二手势起作用以控制所述应用、操作系统或设备。
19.一种雷达系统,包括:
无线电元件,配置为提供能够传输数据并与人体组织交互的雷达传输;
雷达天线,配置为接收由于在所述雷达传输中的人体组织进行的交互的反射;
信号处理器,配置为处理在所述雷达传输中的接收的反射,所述雷达传输足以确定可用于确定接收的反射的手势的手势数据;以及
系统管理器,配置为确定所述手势并使得在所述雷达系统与计算设备之间更改数据通信,所述更改基于所确定的手势。
20.如权利要求19所述的雷达系统,其中,所述雷达系统可操作地与另外的计算设备耦合,所述数据通信包括内容流式传输,并且对数据通信的更改包括下列之一:
发起所述计算设备与所述另外的计算设备之间的内容的流;或
停止所述计算设备与所述另外的计算设备之间的内容的流。
