本发明涉及显示装置。
背景技术
已知有使显示面板弯曲的显示装置(例如专利文献1)。这种显示装置被称作曲面显示器。显示面板使用薄膜状的基板制作。显示面板粘接在用于保护显示面的弯曲的罩部件上。显示面板通过粘接在弯曲的罩部件上来实现曲面显示。
专利文献1:(日本)特开2009-86560号公报
显示面板以粘接在罩部件上的状态固定在背光灯上。背光灯在包围显示面板的位置粘接在罩部件上。在粘接层上设置用于将挠性印刷电路基板(以下也简称为“FPC”)向外部拉出的开口部。但是,若在粘接层设置开口部,则异物可能经由开口部从外部混入,或背光灯的光会向外部漏出。另外,发现了某种不良情况的显示装置被解体作业(返修处理)环绕,但若将罩部件和背光灯牢固地粘接,则难以进行解体作业。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种异物不易混入罩部件与背光灯之间,解体作业也容易的显示装置。
本发明一方面的显示装置具有:罩部件,其具有弯曲的曲面部;显示面板,其在沿着所述曲面部弯曲的状态下粘接在所述曲面部上;前框,其包围所述显示面板的整个外周并粘接在所述曲面部上;背光灯,其嵌入所述前框而与所述显示面板相对配置,并且在与所述前框的内壁面的一部分之间具有间隙;挠性印刷电路基板,其第一端部与所述显示面板电连接,第二端部通过所述间隙而被拉出到被所述前框包围的空间的外侧。

如图1及图2所示,显示装置100具有罩部件10、显示面板20、FPC26、背光灯38及前框40。
显示面板20具有第一偏光板21、第一基板22、第二基板23及第二偏光板24。第二基板23与第一基板22相对设置。在第一基板22与第二基板23之间设有液晶层(省略图示)。第一偏光板21设置在第一基板22的与第二基板23相反侧的面上。第二偏光板24设置在第二基板23的与第一基板22相反侧的面上。第一基板22具有向第二基板23的外侧突出的突出部25。在突出部25设有端子部(省略图示),在端子部电连接有FPC26。
背光灯38具有导光体30、第一框36及第二框37。
导光体30具有导光板31、反射片32、第一光学片33、第二光学片34及第三光学片35。在导光板31的侧面设有CCFL(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp)及LED(LightEmitting Diode)等光源(省略图示)。导光板31将从侧面射入的光向整个导光板传播而从导光板31的上面放射。在导光板31的下面设有反射片32。在导光板31的上面,从导光板31侧开始依次设有第一光学片33、第二光学片34及第三光学片35。第一光学片33、第二光学片34及第三光学片35控制从导光板31的上面向显示面板20放射的光的指向性。
第一框36具有支承导光体30的下面的底板部36a、将导光体30的侧方包围的第一框体36b。导光体30被收纳在由底板部36a和第一框体36b围成的空间中。第二框37具有包围第一框体36b的侧方的第二框体37a、覆盖导光体30的上面的缘部的边缘罩37b。在第二框37,第一框36沿着第二框体37a的内壁面而嵌入。第一框36和第二框37通过螺钉(省略图示)而固定。
导光体30的中央部从边缘罩37b露出。从导光体30的中央部放射的光向显示面板20照射。显示面板20对从导光体30照射的光进行调制而形成图像。
在显示面板20的显示面(背光灯38侧相反侧的面),经由粘接层19粘接有罩部件10。罩部件10例如是玻璃基板及塑料基板等可透过可见光的透明基板。罩部件10使由显示面板20调制的光透过。罩部件10具有弯曲的曲面部10a。显示面板20以沿着曲面部10a弯曲的状态粘接在曲面部10a上。罩部件10保护显示面板20的显示面,并且将显示面板20保持为弯曲形状。
构成显示面板20的部件以容易追随曲面部10a的曲面形状的方式被薄型化。例如,第一基板22及第二基板23是分别具有50μm~200μm的厚度的璃基板。
在罩部件10的缘部经由粘接层45而粘接有筒状的前框40。前框40包围显示面板20的整个外周而粘接在曲面部10a上。粘接在曲面部10a上的前框40的上端面40b具有与曲面部10a的曲面形状对应的曲面形状。粘接层45形成为闭合的环状,在上端面40b与曲面部10a之间不存在间隙。
背光灯38嵌入前框40而与显示面板20相对配置。在前框40上设有将背光灯38定位在从显示面板20离开的位置的爪部41。通过将第二框37的上端面37c勾挂在爪部41,从而固定背光灯38的位置。前框40和背光灯38通过螺钉而固定。
如图2及图3所示,背光灯38在与前框40的内壁面40a的一部分之间具有间隙43。FPC26的第一端部与显示面板20电连接,第二端部通过间隙43被拉出到由前框40围成的空间的外侧。在前框40的内壁面40a设有将位于间隙43的FPC26的至少一部分固定在前框40的内壁面40a上的固定部件42。固定部件42例如是粘接在前框40的内壁面40a上的双面粘接带。背光灯38在通过固定部件42将FPC26固定在内壁面40a上之后,嵌入前框40。
与图4及图5所示的比较例的显示装置101比较而对以上说明的显示装置100的效果进行说明。图4是未设有FPC26的部分的显示装置101的剖面图。图5是设有FPC26的部分的显示装置101的剖面图。在显示装置101中,对与显示装置100共同的构成标注相同的标记。
显示装置101与显示装置100的不同之处在于,罩部件10和背光灯39通过粘接层49而固定。背光灯39在包围显示面板20的位置粘接在罩部件10上。在粘接层49上设有用于将FPC26拉出外部的开口部,通过该开口部,在上端面37c与罩部件10的曲面部之间形成有间隙48。因此,异物可能从该间隙48混入罩部件10与背光灯39之间。
另一方面,在本实施方式的显示装置100中,显示面板20及背光灯38的侧方通过前框40而覆盖整周。将前框40和罩部件10粘接的粘接层45形成为闭合的环状,在前框40的上端面40b与罩部件10的曲面部10a之间不存在间隙。因此,异物混入罩部件10与背光灯38之间的可能性小。
另外,在显示装置101发现了某种不良情况的情况下,需要解体作业(修复处理),但由粘接层49将罩部件10和背光灯39粘接的话,则难以进行解体作业。在将背光灯39粘接在弯曲的罩部件10上的情况下,粘接作业变得困难,故而粘接不良的发生变多。因此,解体作业的负担变大。
另一方面,在本实施方式的显示装置100中,背光灯38嵌入前框40并拧固。背光灯38和罩部件10不通过粘接层粘接,故而解体作业容易。
另外,由于在显示装置101不存在固定FPC26的固定部件,故而在将背光灯39粘接在罩部件10上时,FPC26可能与背光灯39干涉。若FPC26与背光灯39干涉,则对突出部25赋予意图外的应力,可能在突出部25产生破损。另外,在将FPC26的第二端部与其他电子零件电连接时,突出部25与FPC26一同被拉伸,在突出部25可能产生破损。
另一方面,在本实施方式的显示装置100中,FPC26固定在前框40的内壁面40a上。因此,在将背光灯38嵌入前框40时,FPC26被拉入罩部件10侧的可能性小。因此,突出部25与FPC26一同向罩部件10侧抬起,在突出部25发生破损的可能性小。另外,在将FPC26的第二端部与其他电子零件电连接时,突出部25与FPC26一同被拉伸,在突出部25产生破损的可能性也少。

Claims (5)

1.一种显示装置,其具有:
罩部件,其具有弯曲的曲面部;
显示面板,其在沿着所述曲面部弯曲的状态下粘接在所述曲面部上;
前框,其包围所述显示面板的整个外周并粘接在所述曲面部上;
背光灯,其嵌入所述前框而与所述显示面板相对配置,并且在与所述前框的内壁面的一部分之间具有间隙;
挠性印刷电路基板,其第一端部与所述显示面板电连接,第二端部通过所述间隙而被拉出到被所述前框包围的空间的外侧;
所述背光灯包括:
第一框,其具有底板部和第一框体,该底板部具有弯曲的上面部;
第二框,其具有第二框体,该第二框体包围所述第一框体的侧方;
导光体,其以沿着所述弯曲的上面部弯曲的状态被设置;
所述前框包括将所述背光灯定位在自所述显示面板离开的位置的爪部,
所述爪部具有最内周面、上面和下面,所述爪部的所述最内周面从所述内壁面突出并设置为比所述显示面板的最外周靠外侧,所述爪部的所述上面粘接于所述罩部件的下面,所述爪部的所述下面与所述第二框体的上端面相对。
2.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其中,
在所述前框的内壁面设有固定部件,该固定部件将位于所述间隙的所述挠性印刷电路基板的至少一部分固定在所述前框的内壁面上。
3.如权利要求2所述的显示装置,其中,
所述固定部件为粘接在所述前框的内壁面的双面粘接带。
4.如权利要求1~3中任一项所述的显示装置,其中,
与所述曲面部粘接的所述前框的上端面具有与所述曲面部的曲面形状对应的曲面形状。
5.如权利要求1~3中任一项所述的显示装置,其中,
所述显示面板具有第一基板、与所述第一基板相对的第二基板,
所述第一基板及所述第二基板分别为具有50μm~200μm的厚度的玻璃基板。
