Abstract
【解決手段】表示装置100は、湾曲した曲面部を有するカバー部材10と、曲面部に沿って湾曲した状態で曲面部に接着された表示パネル20と、表示パネル20の外周全体を囲んで曲面部に接着されたフロントフレーム40と、フロントフレーム40に嵌め込まれて表示パネル20と対向配置されるとともに、フロントフレーム40の内壁面40aの一部との間に隙間43を有するバックライト38と、第一の端部が表示パネル20と電気的に接続され、第二の端部が隙間43を通って、フロントフレーム40に囲まれた空間の外側に引き出されたフレキシブルプリント回路基板26と、を有する。

Claims (6)
- 湾曲した曲面部を有するカバー部材と、
前記曲面部に沿って湾曲した状態で前記曲面部に接着された表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルの外周全体を囲んで前記曲面部に接着されたフロントフレームと、
前記フロントフレームに嵌め込まれて前記表示パネルと対向配置されるとともに、前記フロントフレームの内壁面の一部との間に隙間を有するバックライトと、
第一の端部が前記表示パネルと電気的に接続され、第二の端部が前記隙間を通って、前記フロントフレームに囲まれた空間の外側に引き出されたフレキシブルプリント回路基板と、
を有する表示装置。 - 前記フロントフレームの内壁面には、前記隙間に位置する前記フレキシブルプリント回路基板の少なくとも一部を前記フロントフレームの内壁面上に固定する固定部材が設けられている
請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記固定部材は、前記フロントフレームの内壁面に接着された両面テープである
請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記曲面部と接着される前記フロントフレームの上端面は、前記曲面部の曲面形状に対応した曲面形状を有する
請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記フロントフレームには、前記バックライトを前記表示パネルから離間した位置に位置決めする爪部が設けられている
請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記表示パネルは、第一の基板と、前記第一の基板と対向する第二の基板と、を有し、
前記第一の基板および前記第二の基板は、それぞれ50μm〜200μmの厚みを有するガラス基板である
請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
