Claims (14)
- ディスプレイパネルと、
該ディスプレイパネルの一側端部に接続され、第1面を有するCOFフロント部と、該COFフロント部から該COFフロント部の延長方向と交差する方向に前記ディスプレイパネルの後方に向かって延び、第2面を有するCOFサイド部とを含む、COF(Chip On Film)と、
前記COFフロント部の前方で前記COFフロント部を覆うように設けられ、前記第1面と対向する第3面を含むCOFカバーフロント部と、該COFカバーフロント部から該COFカバーフロント部の延長方向と交差する方向に前記ディスプレイパネルの後方に向かって延び、前記第2面と対向する第4面を含むCOFカバーサイド部とを含む、COFカバーと、
該COFカバーを前記ディスプレイパネルの前記一側端部に接着する接着物質であって、接着物質の一部は、前記ディスプレイパネルの前記一側端部で、前記COFの一端と前記第3面との間の空間を埋めるように設けられ、接着物質の残部は、前記第1面と前記第3面との間の空間及び前記第2面と前記第4面との間の空間を埋めるように設けられる、接着物質とを含む、
パネルモジュール。 - 前記接着物質は光硬化性樹脂で形成される、請求項1に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 前記ディスプレイパネルは、平板状の第1ガラス基板と、平板状に形成されて前記第1ガラス基板の前方側に配置される第2ガラス基板と、前記第1ガラス基板と前記第2ガラス基板の間に形成される液晶層と、前記第1ガラス基板の後面に配置される第1偏光フィルタと、前記第2ガラス基板の前面に配置される第2偏光フィルタを含み、
前記COFカバーの前面は前記第2偏光フィルタの前面と同一面を形成する、
請求項1に記載のパネルモジュール。 - 前記COFカバーフロント部は、一端が前記第2偏光フィルタと接するように設けられ、前記COFカバーサイド部は、前記COFカバーフロント部の他端から後方側に延びるように設けられる、請求項3に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 前記接着物質は、前記第1ガラス基板の一端および前記第2ガラス基板の一端と前記COFカバーフロント部および前記COFカバーサイド部の内側面によって形成される空間を満たした状態で硬化され得る、請求項4に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 前記COFの他端に連結されるソース印刷回路基板をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 前記ソース印刷回路基板は前記ディスプレイパネルの後方側に離隔して配置され、
前記COFはU字状にベンディングされてその前端が前記ディスプレイパネルの一側端部に連結され、その後端が前記ソース印刷回路基板に連結される、
請求項6に記載のパネルモジュール。 - 前記COFカバーは金属材質で形成される、請求項1に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 請求項1〜請求項8のいずれか一項に記載されたパネルモジュールを含む、ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記ディスプレイパネルは、第1ガラス基板と、前記第1ガラス基板の前方側に配置される第2ガラス基板と、前記第1ガラス基板と前記第2ガラス基板の間に形成される液晶層と、前記第1ガラス基板の後面に配置される第1偏光フィルタと、前記第2ガラス基板の前面に配置される第2偏光フィルタを含み、
前記COFカバーの前面は前記第2偏光フィルタの前面と同一面に位置する、
請求項9に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記ディスプレイパネルはその両側端部が前方側に突出するように屈曲して変形され、
