Claims (15)
- ディスプレイパネルと、
一端が前記ディスプレイパネルの一側端部に連結されるCOF(Chip On Film)と、
前記COFの一端を覆い、その前面が前記ディスプレイパネルの前面と同一面を形成するCOFカバーを含む、パネルモジュール。 - 前記COFカバーを前記ディスプレイパネルに接着するように構成された接着物質をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 前記接着物質は光硬化性樹脂で形成される、請求項2に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 前記ディスプレイパネルは、平板状の第1ガラス基板と、平板状に形成されて前記第1ガラス基板の前方側に配置される第2ガラス基板と、前記第1ガラス基板と前記第2ガラス基板の間に形成される液晶層と、前記第1ガラス基板の後面に配置される第1偏光フィルタと、前記第2ガラス基板の前面に配置される第2偏光フィルタを含み、
前記COFカバーの前面は前記第2偏光フィルタの前面と同一面を形成する、請求項2に記載のパネルモジュール。 - 前記COFカバーは、一端が前記第2偏光フィルタと接するフロント部と、前記フロント部の他端から後方側に延びたサイド部を含む、請求項4に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 前記接着物質は、前記第1ガラス基板の一端および前記第2ガラス基板の一端と前記フロント部および前記サイド部の内側面によって形成される空間を満たした状態で硬化され得る、請求項5に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 前記COFの他端に連結されるソース印刷回路基板をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 前記ソース印刷回路基板は前記ディスプレイパネルの後方側に離隔して配置され、
前記COFはU字状にベンディングされてその前端が前記ディスプレイパネルの一側端部に連結され、その後端が前記ソース印刷回路基板に連結される、請求項7に記載のパネルモジュール。 - 前記COFカバーは金属材質で形成される、請求項1に記載のパネルモジュール。
- 請求項1〜請求項9のいずれか一項に記載されたパネルモジュールを含む、ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記ディスプレイパネルは、第1ガラス基板と、前記第1ガラス基板の前方側に配置される第2ガラス基板と、前記第1ガラス基板と前記第2ガラス基板の間に形成される液晶層と、前記第1ガラス基板の後面に配置される第1偏光フィルタと、前記第2ガラス基板の前面に配置される第2偏光フィルタを含み、
前記COFカバーの前面は前記第2偏光フィルタの前面と同一面に位置する、請求項10に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記ディスプレイパネルはその両側端部が前方側に突出するように屈曲して変形され、
前記COFカバーは前記ディスプレイパネルと対応するようにその両側端部が前方側に突出するように屈曲して変形される、請求項10に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記ディスプレイパネルの外郭側と前記COFカバーを支持するフレームケースをさらに含み、
前記フレームケースは、その内側に突出して前記ディスプレイパネルの後面の外郭側に付着される支持部を含む、請求項10に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記ディスプレイパネルの外郭側と前記COFカバーを支持するフレームケースをさらに含み、
前記フレームケースはその両側端部が前方側に突出するように屈曲し、
前記ディスプレイパネルおよび前記COFカバーは前記フレームケースによって支持され、その両側端部が前方側に突出するように屈曲して変形される、請求項10に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記ディスプレイパネルの後方側に配置されたボトムシャーシと、
前記ボトムシャーシの後方側に配置される前記ソース印刷回路基板をさらに含み、
前記COFの他端が前記ソース印刷回路基板に連結される、請求項10に記載のディスプレイ装置。
