背景技术
例如在立式加工中心中,在底座上设有作为工作台单元的耳轴单元(AC轴单元)。该耳轴单元具备:作为倾斜工作台的耳轴,其被保持成能够在可借助底座上的Y轴引导面向Y轴移动的基座上绕与X轴平行的水平轴线即A轴回转分度;和旋转工作台,其被保持成能够在所述耳轴上绕与A轴正交的垂直轴线即C轴旋转分度(例如参考专利文献1)。

在专利文献2的驱动装置中,倾斜工作台内的马达在倾斜工作台处于水平姿势的俯视图中相对于水平轴线向Y轴方向偏移设置,因此倾斜工作台处于不平衡状态,绕水平轴线的回转半径增大从而惯性矩也增大,使得所需的驱动力增大。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的在于提供一种机床的工作台单元,能够使倾斜工作台的平衡良好以减小绕水平轴线的回转半径和惯性矩,能够以小的驱动力驱动。
为了达成上述目的,本发明的第一方面的特征在于,将设于倾斜工作台内并驱动旋转工作台旋转的马达以使马达轴的轴线位于由水平轴线和垂直轴线形成的平面上的方式进行配置。
本发明第二方面的特征在于,在第一方面的结构中,倾斜工作台在基座上被双臂式支承,马达在以垂直轴线为中心的点对称位置配置有一对。
本发明第三方面的特征在于,在第一方面的结构中,倾斜工作台在基座上被单臂式支承。
本发明第四方面的特征在于,在第一至第三方面中的任一方面的结构中,在旋转工作台与马达之间介入有减速器。
根据本发明,能够使倾斜工作台的平衡良好以减小绕水平轴线的回转半径和惯性矩。由此能够以小的驱动力进行驱动。特别是对倾斜工作台进行双臂式支承并配置有一对马达的话,即使是比较小的马达也能够得到大的驱动转矩,并且能够使齿轮的齿隙相互抵消,能够得到紧凑且精度高的工作台单元。

下面,基于附图说明本发明的实施方式。
图1是作为机床的一例的五轴控制的立式加工中心的立体图,在立式加工中心1中,标号2为底座,标号3为门形结构的横轨(crossrail),在底座2的上表面设有Y轴导轨4、4,另一方面,在横轨3的前表面设有X轴导轨5、5。在Y轴导轨4、4上,以能够向Y轴方向移动的方式设置有作为工作台单元的耳轴结构的AC轴单元6,在X轴导轨5、5以能够向X轴方向移动的方式设置有滑鞍7。在滑鞍7的前面,以能够向Z轴方向移动的方式设置有主轴头8,所述主轴头8在下端具备主轴9。

在如上所述地构成的立式加工中心1中,通过耳轴11的绕A轴的回转动作、旋转工作台12的绕C轴的旋转动作以及AC轴单元6的向Y轴方向的滑动动作,将在旋转工作台12上固定于托盘的工件定位于期望的加工位置,然后一边使安装有工具的主轴9向X轴和Z轴方向移动一边进行加工。
此时,在耳轴11内,由于使旋转工作台12旋转的马达22、22以轴线P位于C轴-A轴平面上的方式进行配置,因此绕A轴的回转半径变小。因此,使耳轴11回转分度时的惯性矩变小。
这样,根据上述方式的立式加工中心1的AC轴单元6,通过将设于耳轴11内并驱动旋转工作台12旋转的马达22以使马达轴的轴线P位于由A轴和C轴形成的平面上的方式进行配置,从而能够使耳轴11的平衡良好以减小绕A轴的回转半径和惯性矩。由此能够以小的驱动力进行驱动。
特别地,在此,对耳轴11在基座10上进行双臂式支承并在以C轴为中心的点对称位置配置有一对马达22,因此即使是比较小的马达22也能够得到大的驱动转矩,并且能够使齿轮20的齿隙相互抵消,能够得到紧凑且精度高的AC轴单元6。
另外,在上述方式中,在旋转工作台的齿轮部与马达之间介入有减速器和带传递机构,但也可以取代该结构而使设于马达轴的齿轮直接与旋转工作台的齿轮部啮合,或者在马达轴的齿轮与旋转工作台的齿轮部之间介入有一个或多个齿轮。
而且,将马达以马达轴的轴线与C轴平行的方式纵向配置,但不限定于此,只要是位于由A轴-C轴形成的平面上的话,也可以例如图3所示地,将旋转工作台12的齿轮部18形成为锥齿轮,在马达25的马达轴设置锥齿轮26并使该锥齿轮26直接与齿轮部18啮合,从而将马达25以马达轴的轴线P与A轴平行的方式横向配置。当然,在该情况下也可以在齿轮部18与锥齿轮26之间介入有采用有锥齿轮的减速器等。并且,也可以是,在该平面上,使马达轴的轴线P以相对于A轴和C轴形成预定的角度(例如45度)的方式倾斜。
并且,在上述方式中,将本发明应用在了立式加工中心的AC轴单元,但只要是具备包括倾斜工作台和旋转工作台的工作台单元的机床的话,在卧式加工中心等也能够采用本发明。
