Abstract
【解決手段】基台10上にA軸周りで旋回割出可能に保持されたトラニオン11と、そのトラニオン11上でA軸と直交するC軸周りで回転割出可能に設けられた回転テーブル12とを含むAC軸ユニット6において、トラニオン11内に設けられて回転テーブル12を回転駆動させるモータ22を、モータ軸の軸線PをA軸とC軸とで形成される平面上に位置するように配置した。

Description
そして、このようなテーブルユニットの駆動装置としては、特許文献2に開示のように、チルトテーブルの旋回駆動は基台に内設したモータ及びギヤを用いて行うと共に、回転テーブルの回転駆動は、チルトテーブル内で回転テーブルに同軸で設けたギヤ部に、一対の歯車を噛み合わせて、両歯車をベルト及びプーリ等を介してモータで同調回転させて行う構造が知られている。
請求項2に記載の発明は、請求項1の構成において、チルトテーブルは、基台上で両持ちで支持され、モータは、垂直軸を中心とした点対称位置に一対配置されることを特徴とするものである。
請求項3に記載の発明は、請求項1の構成において、チルトテーブルは、基台上で片持ち支持されることを特徴とするものである。
請求項4に記載の発明は、請求項1乃至3の何れかの構成において、回転テーブルとモータとの間に減速機を介在させたことを特徴とするものである。
図1は、工作機械の一例である5軸制御の立形マシニングセンタの斜視図で、立形マシニングセンタ1において、2はベッド、3は門形構造のクロスレールで、ベッド2の上面には、Y軸案内レール4,4が設けられる一方、クロスレール3の前面には、X軸案内レール5,5が設けられている。Y軸案内レール4,4上には、テーブルユニットとしてのトラニオン構造のAC軸ユニット6がY軸方向へ移動可能に設置されて、X軸案内レール5,5には、ラムサドル7がX軸方向へ移動可能に設置されている。ラムサドル7の前面には、下端に主軸9を備えた主軸頭8が、Z軸方向へ移動可能に設置されている。
さらに、ギヤ部18の左右両側には、上側の出力軸にギヤ20を、下側の入力軸にプーリ21を備えた一対の減速機19,19が、C軸を中心とする左右対称に配置されて、ギヤ20,20をギヤ部18に噛合させている。減速機19は、周知の遊星歯車減速機構を内設している。
このモータ22は、モータ軸の軸線PをC軸−A軸で形成される平面上に位置させて、C軸と平行に配置されている。
なお、このモータ22やトラニオン11を旋回割出するモータの駆動、AC軸ユニット6やラムサドル7、主軸頭8の移動等は、図示しないNC装置によって制御される。
このとき、トラニオン11内では、回転テーブル12を回転させるモータ22,22が、軸線PがC軸−A軸平面上に位置するように配置されているので、A軸周りの旋回半径が小さくなる。よって、トラニオン11を旋回割出する際の慣性モーメントが小さくなる。
特にここでは、トラニオン11を、基台10上で両持ちで支持させて、モータ22を、C軸を中心とした点対称位置に一対配置しているので、比較的小さなモータ22でも大きな駆動トルクを得ることができると共に、ギヤ20のバックラッシュも相殺することができ、コンパクトで精度の高いAC軸ユニット6が得られる。
Claims (4)
- 基台上に水平軸周りで旋回割出可能に保持されたチルトテーブルと、そのチルトテーブル上で前記水平軸と直交する垂直軸周りで回転割出可能に設けられた回転テーブルと、を含む工作機械のテーブルユニットであって、
前記チルトテーブル内に設けられて前記回転テーブルを回転駆動させるモータを、モータ軸の軸線を前記水平軸と垂直軸とで形成される平面上に位置させて配置したことを特徴とする工作機械のテーブルユニット。 - 前記チルトテーブルは、前記基台上で両持ちで支持され、前記モータは、前記垂直軸を中心とした点対称位置に一対配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の工作機械のテーブルユニット。
- 前記チルトテーブルは、前記基台上で片持ち支持されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の工作機械のテーブルユニット。
- 前記回転テーブルと前記モータとの間に減速機を介在させたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の工作機械のテーブルユニット。
