Abstract

本发明涉及一种用于制造泡沫的组合物。
背景技术
含聚硅氧烷(含硅氧烷)的弹性体和热塑性弹性体和树脂的化学结构未赋予它们微波活性。因此它们不能通过微波辐射加热或交联(硫化)-在没有特定添加剂或填料的情况下。具有微波活性的填料,例如磁铁矿(参见,例如,DE102004053310A1,DE102004053309B3)的使用可以实现橡胶或粗制组合物的迅速加热,并因此可以借助合适的硫化添加剂(例如过氧化物或贵金属催化剂)实现交联以产生弹性体或产生树脂。
微波用于塑料加热是热塑性塑料领域中是公知的(例如,EP0351544,DE3923913A1),其也用在有机弹性体的领域中(例如DE69207040T2),或笼统地说用在聚合物领域中(例如DE68918648T2,DE4334453C2)。但是,由于上述原因,在聚硅氧烷塑料领域(US4980384,US4460713)中还没有使用或还没有广泛使用这种方法。现有技术中描述的化合物都不能产生均匀的泡沫。
含硅氧烷的聚合物的传统发泡使用多种类型的外部加热元件以将热量从外部引入待发泡的制剂中,硫化以及激活(分解)例如亚稳发泡剂都需要这种加热。制造泡沫部件时产生下列缺点:
-交联和膨胀的临界平衡问题(即小的加工范围,小的控制可能性);
-表面问题(如果没有从头到尾充分交联,就存在气泡穿透表层的风险);
-不均匀泡沫结构的问题(产生大和小的气泡,以及没有气泡形成的区域);
-尺寸稳定性的问题(缺乏可再现的形状和缺乏部件尺寸的精确调节,尤其是由于上述风险);
-传热有限的问题(在从外部向内部导热方面,制成的泡沫远不如粗制组合物有效,即在内部出现膨胀不足和/或硫化不足)。
这些因素在含硅氧烷的组合物的传统热引发发泡中产生本领域技术人员已知的缺点:
-整个方法是亚稳到不稳的;
-与热塑性塑料、弹性体等比较时,加工方法的选择受限;
-加工参数的选择受限;
-不可能制造具有高尺寸精度的部件或总是具有相同的均匀泡沫结构的部件;
-需要复杂和昂贵的设备;
-泡沫部件的设计和开发的成本极高。
发明内容
本发明的目的是改进现有技术,特别是制造均匀泡沫。
本发明提供了一种组合物,其包含:
(A)具有适合交联的有机基团的至少一种化合物,
(B)在加热时释放出气体、蒸汽或烟气的至少一种发泡剂,
(C)独立或其混合物形式的至少一种金属粉末或金属化合物或金属氧化物,只要这些具有微波活性。
具体实施方式
本发明的组合物可以是单组分组合物或多组分组合物。在后一种情况下,本发明的组合物的组分可以包括任何所需组合方式的任何成分。
具有用于交联的有机基团的(A)化合物优选具有含有脂族碳-碳多重键的基团。
具有适合交联的有机基团的化合物优选为过氧化交联、硫交联、双酚交联、或铂催化加成交联的化合物。
例如异戊二烯、腈聚合物、聚丁二烯等。
本发明的组合物中的成分(A)优选为脂族不饱和有机硅化合物,在此可以使用迄今在未交联和交联组合物中使用的任何脂族不饱和有机硅化合物,包括,例如,具有脲嵌段的硅氧烷嵌段共聚物、具有酰胺嵌段和/或酰亚胺嵌段和/或酯-酰胺嵌段和/或聚苯乙烯嵌段和/或silarylene嵌段和/或碳硼烷嵌段的硅氧烷嵌段共聚物,和具有醚基团的硅氧烷接枝共聚物。
成分(A)的摩尔质量可以在宽限度内变化,例如优选102至106克/摩尔,优选103至105克/摩尔。
因此,例如,成分(A)可以是相对低分子量的链烯基官能有机硅氧烷,例如1,2-二乙烯基四甲基二硅氧烷,但也可以是具有侧面或末端Si-键合乙烯基的高聚二甲基硅氧烷聚合物,例如摩尔质量(通过NMR测定的数均摩尔质量)为105克/摩尔的那种。也不限定构成成分(A)的分子的结构;特别地,相对高分子量,即低聚或聚合的硅氧烷的结构可以是线型、环状、支化、或树脂状、网络状的。线型和环状聚硅氧烷优选由式R3SiO1/2、R1R2SiO1/2、R1RSiO2/2和R2SiO2/2的单元构成,其中R和R1可以是相同或不同的有机基团,例如甲基、丙基、三氟丙基、乙烯基、苯基或取代基,例如OR3、NR3 2,等等,其中R3本身又可以是所述有机基团或取代基。支化和网络状聚硅氧烷还含有三官能和/或四官能单元,优选为式RSiO3/2、R1SiO3/2和SiO4/2的那些。还可以使用符合成分(A)的标准的不同硅氧烷的混合物。
特别优选使用在每种情况下在25℃的粘度为0.01至500000Pa·s,特别优选0.1至100000Pa·s的乙烯基官能的基本线型聚二有机硅氧烷作为组分(A)。
具有适合交联的有机基团的化合物的用量优选为整个组合物的1至99重量%,优选20至70重量%。
可用的发泡剂(B)是在大气压或升高的压力下物理可溶于基质或至少能够临时进入基质的任何气体,或在受热时释放出气体的化学化合物,例如偶氮化合物(例如AIBN、偶氮异丁腈,它们释放出氮)、碳酸盐(例如碳酸钠,其释放出CO2)、过氧化物(例如BaO2,其释放出氧),或包含封在中空珠或空腔中的气体的化合物,或优选为包含挥发性液体并包含分散形式和/或包合形式(结晶水或间生液体或包合气体形式)的液体或气体并在受热时经由反应或通过纯物理法将其以气体(例如N2、CO2、O2、水蒸汽,等等)形式释放出来的发泡剂。
结合到发泡剂(B)上的液体分子选自有机和无机溶剂。这些溶剂优选选自水、醇、胺、THF、戊烷、己烷、甲苯或醚或它们的混合物。水是特别优选的液体分子。
根据发泡剂(B)的特性,液体分子与发泡剂的结合可以具有非常不同的类型,例如纯物理掺入、吸附、共价键合、络合、或任何其它类型的化学键合。
所有这些液体在相对较高的温度下都具有潜在挥发性,在结晶液体的情况下随着晶格的破裂,并在间生液体的情况下在实现键断裂所需的能阈时产生。这意味着,在正确选择发泡剂(B)的情况下,可以在对弹性体加工而言常规的温度下,通常100至200℃调节发泡性能。
在正确选择这些包含间生液体或包含结晶液体的发泡剂(B)的情况下,与多数已知的发泡剂体系相比,获得用在包含塑料或包含弹性体的透明、不透明或有色组合物中的许多优点,实际上,在适当选择液体的情况下,获得用在包含塑料或包含弹性体的食品相容组合物中的许多优点。首先,这些组合物具有优异的机械承重性质,例如橡胶的压缩变定,其由于混合孔,主要是开孔结构而表现出非常好的回弹性。此外,本发明的可发泡组合物具有高的一般稳定性,因为发泡剂(B)的不挥发残余物多数是化学惰性的,并因此不与塑料基质(A)相互作用。此外,它们可以根据需要着色,因为它们本身多数是无色的。对表面性能,例如抓握性,没有负面影响,在适当选择液体的情况下,它们还适用于食品并符合BfR[German Federal Institute for RiskAssessment]规格或FDA规格。本发明的可发泡组合物在安全方面也更有利,因为,在适当选择发泡剂的情况下,其不会促进火焰蔓延并在着火的情况下不形成有毒燃烧产物。此外,与可发泡组合物中的制剂的其它成分没有相互作用。
优选的间生液体和结晶液体是水。间生水或结晶水是束缚在层之间并分别结合到有机或无机化合物的晶体结构中的水,这些“水合物”中的结合比可以非常广地变动。例如水合沸石、页硅酸盐、包含结晶水的盐,例如在已知材料石膏中,在蛋白质,例如酪蛋白中和在传统盐,例如硫酸盐和磷酸盐,例如芒硝,Na2SO4×10H2O以及非结晶水合配合物中发现其它例子。优选为碱金属硫酸盐和碱土金属硫酸盐,和碱金属磷酸盐和碱土金属磷酸盐,特别优选碱金属磷酸盐和碱土金属磷酸盐,其中碱金属磷酸盐又是优选的,且在碱金属磷酸盐中,优选的是二氢磷酸钠、磷酸氢二钠、二磷酸四钠和具有更高缩合程度的多磷酸盐,其中特别优选的是二磷酸四钠和具有更高缩合程度的多磷酸盐。
本发明的发泡剂(B)的另一优点是它们作为固体存在,它们可以在没有其它辅助的情况下非常容易地在组合物中分散。一旦已经通过混合掺入发泡剂(B),它们在适当储存的情况下非常稳定且不随时间改变。
此外,本发明的可发泡组合物可以与已知发泡剂,例如碳酸盐、氮化合物和水基和醇基发泡剂以任何所需组合方式一起使用,本发明的可发泡组合物在此改进了泡沫的最终性能。发泡剂因此可以通过以固体形式混合来掺入或预先溶解或转化成母料,或直接存在于基质中。
根据本发明使用的发泡剂是本领域技术人员已知的,其中一些可购得。
具有微波活性的组分(C)的例子是选自金属或金属氧化物的化合物,例如氧化银或氧化铝。
优选使用金属的氧化性化合物,例如铁氧体或更优选磁铁矿(形式公式Fe3O4),填料(C)在此具有0.1至1000微米,优选10至500微米,且对于透明制剂优选0.1至0.4微米的平均粒度,以及所需的粒度分布。
为了改进通过混合掺入的简易性和为了改进最终混合物的机械性能,这些填料可以用合适的化学品处理,并可以在捏和机、混合机、溶解器、高压釜等中实现这一点。合适的处理剂是胺、醇,等等,尤其是通用组成Si[XRn]4的硅烷,其中X可以是非金属原子,例如C、N、O、P,等等;R可以是任何所需的无机或有机基团。选择化合物以使分子被吸收到具有微波能力的粒子表面上并实现与这些的物理结合,或经由Si-X或X-R键处至少一个基团的消除而化学键合。用合适试剂进行的表面处理首先实现了在聚合物基质中的更好分散,其次还能够在随后的交联过程中经由硫化实现偶联。
具有微波能力的填料的用量为整个组合物的0.1至99重量%,优选10至60重量%,特别优选10至30重量%。
根据本发明用作原材料的氧化性金属化合物是本领域技术人员已知的,其中一些可购得。
(D)处理或未处理的活性填料,优选热解法或沉淀二氧化硅,其量优选为整个组合物的0至80重量%,优选0至50重量%,特别优选0至35重量%。
可用的填料(D)是选自迄今已经在含硅氧烷的组合物中使用的硅酸盐类的任何填料。可用作本发明的组合物中的组分(D)的增强填料的例子是BET表面积为至少50平米/克的热解法或沉淀二氧化硅,和炭黑和活性炭,例如炉黑和乙炔黑,在此优选BET表面积为至少50平米/克的热解法和沉淀二氧化硅。
所述二氧化硅填料可以具有亲水特性或可以通过已知方法疏水化。在混合掺入亲水填料的情况下,需要添加疏水化试剂。
活性增强填料(D)在本发明的可交联组合物中的含量为整个组合物的0至80重量%,优选0至50重量%,特别优选0至35重量%。
(E)是合适比例的适用于缩合交联、过氧化物引发的交联、或贵金属配合物催化的加成交联的交联体系,
(F)是其它添加剂,例如稳定剂、非增强填料、导热填料、颜料,等等。
本发明的含硅氧烷的组合物可以任选包含构成最多70重量%,优选0.0001至40重量%的比例的其它添加剂作为组分(F)。这些添加剂可以是,例如,惰性填料、与硅氧烷(A)不同的树脂类聚有机硅氧烷、分散剂、溶剂、增粘剂、颜料、染料、增塑剂、有机聚合物、热稳定剂,等等。其中包括如下添加剂:粉状石英、硅藻土、粘土、白垩、锌钡白、炭黑、石墨、金属氧化物、金属碳酸盐、金属硫酸盐、金属羧酸盐、金属粉尘、纤维(例如玻璃纤维、合成纤维)、塑料粉末、金属粉尘、染料、颜料等等。
可以存在的其它材料是用于受控调节本发明的组合物的加工时间、引发温度和交联速率的添加剂(F),和提高微波诱发的热的传输效率的导热填料。
根据本发明使用的组分(D)和(F)是市售产品或可以通过熟悉的化学方法制备。
本发明的组合物除了组分(A)至(F)外还可以包含迄今已经用于制备含硅氧烷的组合物的任何其它物质。
如果需要,本发明的有机聚硅氧烷组合物可以在液体中溶解、分散、悬浮或乳化。本发明的组合物可以——特别是根据成分的粘度和固含量——具有非常低的粘度和可倾倒、糊状、粉状、或如本领域技术人员通常称作硅油(硅酮液)、RTV-1、RTV-2、LSR和HTV的组合物已知的那样,是顺从的(conformable)高粘组合物。关于交联后的本发明的硅氧烷组合物的弹性,同样包括整个谱系,从极软硅凝胶到橡胶材料再到高度交联的玻璃状硅氧烷。
可以使用已知方法制备本发明的含硅氧烷的组合物,优选方法的例子是各个组分的均匀混合。次序在此根据需要确定,但优选先进行具有微波活性的填料(C)的任何必要处理和其与聚合物基体的混合。当添加填料时,其在此可以为固体形式或用合适的试剂制糊的母料形式。根据(A)的粘度,混合过程在此例如使用搅拌器,在溶解器中,在辊上,或在捏和机中进行。填料(C)还可以包囊在有机热塑性塑料或热塑性有机硅树脂中。
发泡剂(B)也可以通过以任何所需方式,优选以母料形式混入聚合物基体中来并入。
根据本发明使用的组分(A)至(F)各自可以是单种类型的这种组分,或由至少两种不同类型的这种组分构成的混合物。
在存在可交联基团的情况下,本发明的组合物与迄今已知的可交联组合物一样可以交联(硫化)。在大气压或在900至1100hPa的压力下,温度在此优选为40至220℃,特别优选100至190℃。但是,还可以使用更高或更低的温度和压力,这取决于辐射持续时间和频率和所需部件的几何形状和制造模式。
本发明的组合物的决定性优点是它们借助填料(C)而可经由微波辐射迅速交联。交联也可以用高能辐射,例如短波可见光和紫外线,或用热和光化学激发的组合,光化学进行。
本发明进一步提供了经由本发明的组合物的交联和膨胀制成的压出物、复合材料和模制品。
本发明的组合物和可由其制成的交联产品可用于有机聚硅氧烷组合物或弹性体或发泡组合物迄今应用的任何用途——以迅速加工和在最终部件中也存在微波吸收为优点。这些用途包括,例如,硅氧烷涂料或任何所需基底的浸渍,模制品的制造,例如通过注射成型法、真空挤塑法或其它挤塑法、模具浇注法、压模法、模具加工法,并充当密封、嵌入或灌封组合物,等等。
特别重要的因素是硅氧烷弹性体和含硅氧烷的热塑性弹性体或分别为热塑性硫化橡胶和树脂的微波引发的加热,因为发生均匀加热,因为没有将热量从外部引入内部(例如通过热空气或加热的模具表面),而是在整个材料中均匀生热。
这种均匀加热能够解决硅氧烷技术中的问题:在所需厚度和尺寸方面的均匀地产生含硅氧烷的泡沫。硅氧烷(弹性体、热塑性弹性体和树脂)通常是迅速交联,即迅速变刚性的组合物。由于交联(硫化)阻碍了任何同时进行的膨胀,硅氧烷组合物的膨胀,即发泡,是困难的程序。
本发明的组合物的一个优点在于它们可用于制造不仅具有低密度还具有适当导热系数(使用0.1至15份填料(C):低导热系数;20份:提高的导热系数)和/或具有经由微波辐射引发加热的能力的物品,例如加热垫、绝缘片、衰减元件,等等,和泡沫部件——其磁矩使它们例如可被传感器检测或能够磁激发。
本发明的组合物的一个优点在于它们可以在简单方法中制造,该方法使用容易获得的原材料而没有相互发生副作用的任何风险,并因此是成本有效和低风险的。
本发明的组合物的一个优点在于,由于热量的直接内部生成,它们能够实现明显更快的硫化和膨胀,并因此能够在此前不可能实现的程度上加快膨胀物品的制造。
本发明的组合物的一个优点在于,由于更容易通过混合掺入处理过的重填料(C),可以将密度调节至不仅是泡沫的典型密度(大约0.2至0.5克/立方厘米)还是泡沫初始密度的最多四倍,这对于弹性体领域中使用的其它填料而言是不可能的。因此可以获得具有新型的阻尼性能和绝热性能的重质“高价值”泡沫。
本发明的含硅氧烷的组合物的一个优点在于,由于多种形态不同的具有微波活性的填料的混合比的变化,可以覆盖宽的频率范围,因此能够在宽限度内彼此平衡微波硫化和膨胀。
本发明的组合物的另一优点在于,膨胀的交联组合物与未填充的膨胀组合物相比未表现出机械或其它物理性能的任何明显受损,即使使用高比例的具有微波活性的填料。实际上,具有改进的耐热空气性和耐化学品性。
本发明的组合物的另一优点在于它们的含有磁铁矿作为具有微波活性的填料和含有批准用于食品用途的发泡剂的膨胀硫化产品可以直接与食品接触使用,因此不需要任何复杂的附加涂层或背衬,例如铝,来避免直接接触。
本发明的组合物的另一优点在于它们的膨胀硫化产品具有完全均匀的泡沫结构并因此具有甚至跨过非常大的壁厚(大于5厘米)的完全均一的性能-以及连续的平滑表面一这是迄今不能实现的。
本发明的组合物的另一优点在于它们可以根据需要经由辐射的适当控制来发泡,即,首次可以使用含硅氧烷的组合物产生本征(genuine)整体泡沫(即在内部具有大孔隙,并膨胀产生外部密实的材料)(之前受到外热时产生相反的作用!)。甚至可以实现复杂几何形状的无缺陷发泡,因为膨胀可以根据瓦特数在受辐射方向上改变。

在下述实施例中,除非另行指明,与份数和百分比有关的所有数据都按重量计。除非另行指明,在环境大气压,即在大约1000hPa和在室温,即在大约20℃下,或在没有附加加热或冷却的情况下反应物在室温下合并时确立的温度下,实施下列实施例。
1)适合与食品接触并具有良好绝热效果的可微波发泡和可微波硫化的硅氧烷组合物的制备(例如,用于焙烧片材,容器绝热,等等),及其硫化和膨胀:
在捏和机中,在室温下使用100份聚(二甲基)甲基乙烯基硅氧烷作为初始进料。在80℃,逐份添加2份聚二甲基硅氧烷和15份细粒二氧化硅(FPS),并将材料在每一添加步骤后捏和10分钟。然后再将该材料在160℃捏和并加热3小时。然后逐份添加10份平均粒度为150微米的磁铁矿,并在室温捏和。然后添加3份硅氮烷和1份水,并将混合物在70℃捏和1小时。
在冷却后,移出混合物,并在辊上或在捏和机中,提供用于铂催化的加成交联的硫化添加剂,和1份水合焦磷酸钠和1份水合碳酸钠(Merck KGAA)。
将最终混合物压出以产生型坯,使其在500瓦特家用微波炉中承受5分钟辐射;然后将型坯在微波炉中冷却5分钟。
制成的部件具有40的近似最终Microshore硬度并从头到尾具有均匀发泡以及连续的表层,其密度为0.7克/立方厘米且其导热系数(λ值)为0.04(即绝热)。
2)用于软但非常重的泡沫片的具有高微波活性的可迅速交联的硅氧烷组合物的制备,和该泡沫片的制造:
在室温下,在捏和机中,将100份由90%近似分子量为1500的聚二甲基(乙烯基)硅氧烷和10份BET表面积为大约200平米/克的二氧化硅构成的硅氧烷混合物与300份在密封捏和机中经过硅氮烷处理的磁铁矿混合,并将混合物在70℃捏和1小时。在冷却后,移出混合物,并在辊上将0.7份ELASTOSILAUX交联剂E(过氧化2,4-二氯联苯甲酰,98%纯度)和6份充气中空热塑性塑料珠(例如聚丙烯腈/异丁烷)与该混合物混合。在从槽模中挤出之后,在Teflon传送带上借助可定位微波源使粗制橡胶片连续膨胀并发泡。
所得片材具有连续的平滑表面,它们的密度为2.2克/立方厘米,它们的Microshore硬度为25。
3)在封闭模具中具有高壁厚的均匀发泡部件(例如泡沫球)的制造:
同样挤出1)中制成的混合物以去除空气的混合物。使用假定为1的比重,以达到空腔(模腔)体积的一半的方式(即,对于300立方厘米的空腔体积,称出150克)称出型坯。将型坯置于模腔内并使封闭模具(由具有足够耐热性但没有微波活性的塑料,例如PEEK构成)在工业微波炉(如用于乳状液的再干燥)中承受600瓦特的辐射5分钟。
脱模后获得的泡沫模制品从头到尾具有均匀的发泡以及连续表面,它们的Microshore硬度为35,且它们的密度为0.65克/立方厘米。
Claims (3)
1.一种通过微波辐射交联的组合物,其包含:
(A)脂族不饱和有机硅化合物,
(B)在加热时释放出气体、蒸汽或烟气的至少一种发泡剂,所述发泡剂包含结晶水或间生水,
(C)磁铁矿。
2.如权利要求1所述的组合物,其特征在于在加热时释放出气体的发泡剂是碱金属磷酸盐。
3.一种模制品,其特征在于包含如权利要求1、2中任一项所述的组合物。
