Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 213429.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferhaltigen     Trisazofarbstoffes.            Gegenstand    des vorliegenden Zusatz  patentes ist ein     Verfahren    zur Herstellung  eines kupferhaltigen     Trisazofarbstoffes,    da  durch gekennzeichnet,

   dass man 1     Mol.        tetra-          zotiertes        Benzidin    alkalisch mit 1     Mol.        SaIi-          cylsäure    und anschliessend die     Diazoazoverbin-          dung    sauer mit 1     Mol.        1-Amino-2-methogy-          naphthalin-6-sulfonsäure    kuppelt, den erhal  tenen     Aminodisazofarbstoff        weiterdiazotiert,

       mit 1     Mol.        2-Maleylamino-6-ogynaphthalin-          8-sulfonsäure    vereinigt     und    den     Trisazofarb-          stoff    mit kupferabgebenden Verbindungen       behandelt.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  18,4 Teile     Benzidin    werden wie üblich  in salzsaurer     Lösung    mit 14 Teilen Natrium  nitrit     tetrazotiert    und zuerst     sodaalkalisch     mit 14,5 Teilen     Salicylsäure    und hierauf die       Diazoazoverbindung        essigsauermit    25,3 Teilen       1-Amino-    2     -naphtolmethyläther-    6     -sulf        onsäure     gekuppelt.

   Der erhaltene     Disazofarbstoff     wird mit 20 Teilen Soda alkalisch gestellt,  isoliert, in 2000 Teilen Wasser gelöst, mit  7,2 Teilen     Natriumnitrit    versetzt und durch  Zustürzen von 70 Teilen     konzer        -.erter    Salz-    säure bei<B>10'</B>     diazotiert.    Den     abgeschiedenen          Diazokörper    trägt man in eine Lösung von  33,7 Teilen     2-Maleylamino-6-ogynaphthalin-          8-sulfonsäure,    40 Teilen 25 %     igem    Ammoniak  und 150 Teilen     Pyridin    in 200 Teilen Wasser  ein.

   Der fertig gebildete Farbstoff wird mit  5 % Kochsalz     ausgesalzen,    filtriert und mit  2,5 %     iger    Sole gewaschen.  



  Zur     Kupferung    in Substanz löst man den  erhaltenen     Trisazofarbstoff    in 1600 Teilen  Wasser von<B>95',</B> gibt     .eine    Lösung von 25  Teilen kristallisiertem Kupfersulfat zu und  kocht während vier     Stunden.    Der Farbstoff       wird        abfiltriert    und in das     Natriumsalz    über  geführt. Er stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar,  das sich in Wasser mit     olivegrüner,        in,Schwe-          felsäure    mit schwarzvioletter Farbe löst.

   Er  färbt     Baumwolle    aus dem neutralen     Glauber-          salzbad    in     olivegrünen    Tönen von hervor  ragender Lichtechtheit.    Ebensogut kann der Farbstoff im neu  tralen     Glaubersalzbad    auf     Baumwolle    gefärbt  und wie üblich mit Kupfersulfat nachbehan  delt werden.

   that 1 mole of tetrazotized benzidine is coupled alkaline with 1 mole of salicic acid and then the diazoazo compound acidically with 1 mole of 1-amino-2-methogynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid, the aminodisazo dye obtained is further diazotized,

       combined with 1 mol. 2-maleylamino-6-ogynaphthalene-8-sulfonic acid and treated the trisazo dye with copper-releasing compounds.



  <I> Example: </I> 18.4 parts of benzidine are tetrazotized as usual in hydrochloric acid solution with 14 parts of sodium nitrite and first alkaline with 14.5 parts of salicylic acid and then the diazoazo compound acetic acid with 25.3 parts of 1-amino-2 - naphtolmethyläther- 6 sulfonic acid coupled.

   The disazo dye obtained is made alkaline with 20 parts of soda, isolated, dissolved in 2000 parts of water, 7.2 parts of sodium nitrite are added and 70 parts of concentrated hydrochloric acid are diazotized at 10 ' . The deposited diazo body is introduced into a solution of 33.7 parts of 2-maleylamino-6-ogynaphthalene-8-sulfonic acid, 40 parts of 25% ammonia and 150 parts of pyridine in 200 parts of water.

   The finished dye is salted out with 5% sodium chloride, filtered and washed with 2.5% strength brine.



  For copper plating in bulk, the trisazo dye obtained is dissolved in 1600 parts of water at 95%, a solution of 25 parts of crystallized copper sulfate is added and the mixture is boiled for four hours. The dye is filtered off and converted into the sodium salt. It is a dark powder that dissolves in water with an olive-green color and in, sulfuric acid with a black-violet color.

   It dyes cotton from the neutral Glauber salt bath in olive green tones with excellent lightfastness. The dye can just as well be dyed on cotton in the neutral Glauber's salt bath and treated with copper sulfate as usual.

Claims (1)

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Trisazo- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1 Mol. tetrazotiertes Benzidin alkalisch mit s 1 Mol. Salicylsäure und anschliessend die Dia.zoazoverbindung sauer mit 1 Mol.1- Amino- 2-methoxynaphthalin- 6 -sulfonsäure kuppelt, Claim: Process for the preparation of a trisazo dye, characterized in that 1 mol. Of tetrazotized benzidine is coupled alkaline with 1 mol. Salicylic acid and then the dia.zoazo compound is coupled acidic with 1 mol , den erhaltenen Aminodisazofarbstoff weiter- diazotiert, mit 1 Mol. 2-Maleylamino-6-oxy- naphthalin-8-sulfonsäure vereinigt und den 1o Trisazofarbstoff mit kupferabgebenden Ver bindungen behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff, ein dunkles Pulver, löst sich in Wasser mit olivegrüner, in Schwe felsäure mit schwarzvioletter Farbe. Er färbt 1s Baumwolle aus dem neutralen Glaubersalzbad in olivegrünen Tönen von hervorragender Lichtechtheit. the aminodisazo dye obtained is further diazotized, combined with 1 mol. 2-maleylamino-6-oxynaphthalene-8-sulfonic acid, and the 10 trisazo dye is treated with copper-releasing compounds.
