Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferhaltigen Disazofarbstoffes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferhaltigen Disazofarbstoffes, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass der Disazofarb- stoff [1,6-Dioxynaphthalin-4-sulfonsäure]- (2-a.zo-4)- [3,3'-dimethoxy-diphenyll-(4'-azo- 1)-r2-oxynaphthalin-3,6-disulfonsäurel mit kupferabgebenden Mitteln behandelt wird.
Der neue, kupferhaltige Farbstoff färbt die Cellulosefaser in marineblauen Tönen. <I>Beispiel:</I> Man stellt in an sich bekannter Weise den asymmetrischen Disazofarbstoff aus 61 Teilen 4,4'-Diamino-3,3'-dimethoxy-diphenyl, 60 Teilen 1,6-Dioxynaphthalin-4-sulfonsäure und 76 Teilen 2-Oxynaphthalin-3,6-disulfon- säure dar.
Der abfiltrierte Disazofarbstoff wird in der 10fachen Menge heissem Wasser unter Zusatz von 50 Vol.-Teilen 23 % iger Am moniaklösung gelöst. Man erwärmt auf 85 bis 90 und versetzt allmählich mit einer Lösung von 150 Teilen krist. Kupfersulfat in überschüssigem Ammoniak. Man hält die Temperatur unter Rühren während 12 Stun- den bei 85-90 .
Nach dem Erkalten wird die neue Kupferkomplexverbindung durch Aussalzen abgeschieden, abfiltriert, mit 10 öiger Kochsalzlösung gewaschen und dann getrocknet.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein violett schwarzes Pulver, das sich in heissem Wasser mit violettblauer, in konz. Schwefelsäure mit grünstichig blauer Farbe löst.
Die Cellulosefaser wird in marineblauen Tönen gefärbt.

The filtered disazo dye is dissolved in 10 times the amount of hot water with the addition of 50 parts by volume of 23% ammonia solution. The mixture is heated to 85 to 90 and gradually mixed with a solution of 150 parts of crystal. Copper sulfate in excess ammonia. The temperature is kept at 85-90 for 12 hours with stirring.
