Abstract

PROCESSO PARA PRODUÇÃO DE PCC. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de preparação de carbonato de cálcio precipitado (PCC) em um reator de baixa intensidade de energia de tal maneira que a quantidade de sólidos no produto de PCC pode ser elevada para 35% ou mais sem realização de uma etapa de desidratação. O processo compreende a realização em paralelo e em dois ou mais vasos de reação separados das etapas de contactar hidróxido de cálcio com um gás compreendendo dióxido de carbono para permitir formação de carbonato de cálcio, e adição de óxido de cálcio, cal, ou hidróxido de cálcio seco, ou uma combinação de qualquer um dos três a uma parte da mistura resultante de hidróxido de cálcio e carbonato de cálcio. A invenção também proporciona um sistema de reator especializado, bem como o uso deste sistema de reator na fabricação de PCC.
