Abstract

resumo patente de invenção:"processo para o tratamento superficial de um pigmento de dióxido de titânio". a presente invenção refere-se a um processo para o tratamento superficial de um dióxido de titânio com fosfato de alumínio e óxido de alumínio contendo água, que leva a pigmentos com melhor estabilidade ao acinzamento simultaneamente com boa claridade e opacidade. o processo é caracterizado pelo fato, de que em uma suspensão de tio2 com um valor de ph de pelo menos 8, é inicialmente acrescentado um ácido fosfórico, sendo que o valor de ph cai para 3 ou abaixo. em seguida, é acrescentado um composto de alumínio alcalino, sendo que o valor de ph sobe para pelo menos 5 e subsequentemente, é acrescentado um composto de alumínio ácido, sendo que o valor de ph se ajusta para 4,5 a 7. o pigmento produzido pelo processo de acordo com a invenção é excelentemente adequado para o emprego em papel para decoração.
