Abstract

processo para preparar uma mistura de gás rica em hidrogênio processo para preparar uma mistura de gás rica em hidrogênio a partir de uma mistura de gás contendo halogênio compreendendo hidrogênio e pelo menos 50% em volume de monóxido de carbono, em uma base seca, contatando a mistura de gás contendo halogênio com água tendo uma temperatura de entre 150 e 250 °c para obter uma mistura de gás pobre em halogênio e tendo uma relação molar de monóxido de carbono para vapor de entre 0,2:1 e 0,9:1 e submetendo dita mistura de gás pobre em halogênio a uma reação de deslocamento do gás de água em que parte todo o monóxido de carbono é convertido com o vapor em hidrogênio e dióxido de carbono na presença de um catalisador como presente em um reator de leito fixo ou em uma série de mais que um reator de leito fixo e em que a temperatura da mistura de gás conforme ela entra no reator ou reatores está entre 190 e 230 °c.
