Abstract

"COMPONENTE FOTOATIVO COM CAMADAS ORGáNICAS". A invenção refere-se a um componente fotoativo, especialmente uma célula solar, que consiste em camadas orgânicas e formado por pelo menos um diodo pi, ni e/ou pin empilhado. Tais diodos são caracterizados pelo fato de que estes compreendem pelo menos uma camada de transporte dopada em p ou dopada em n que tem um espaço de banda ótica mais largo do que aquele da camada fotoativa. Os diodos individuais estão caracterizados por um alto rendimento de quantum interno, mas podem ser oticamente finos (absorção de pico < 80%). De acordo com a invenção, um alto rendimento de quantum externo é obtido ou aumentando o percurso ótico da luz incidente nos diodos utilizando captadores de luz, ou empilhando uma pluralidade dos ditos diodos, a transição entre dois diodos sendo facilitada por camadas de transição para os propósitos de recombinação e geração aperfeiçoadas. Ambas as formas de modalidade tem um número de vantagens específicas utilizando as camadas de transporte dopadas com um grande espaço de banda.
