Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES DE PRé-POLìMEROS DE POLIURETANO, ESPUMAS FEITAS DESTAS E MéTODOS PARA FAZER CADA QUAL". Uma composição de pré-polímero de poliisocianato é compreendida do produto de reação de (a) um poliisocianato orgânico tendo uma funcionalidade média de isocianato de pelo menos 2 e contendo pelo menos 20 por cento em peso de um monómero de diisocianato, (b) um álcool monohídrico e (c) um poliol tendo uma funcionalidade média de hidroxila de pelo menos 1, 8 e no máximo 3,2, sendo que a composição de pré-polímero tem (i) uma quantidade de grupos isocianato em peso suficiente para reagir com água na ausência de um agente de sopro suplementar para fazer uma espuma, (ii) no maximo 10 por cento em peso do monómero de diisocianato e (iii) uma quantidade de poliisocianato que seja capeada pelo álcool polihídrico suficiente para evitar a gelificação da composição de pré-polímero. A composição de pré-polímero pode ser formada contatando (i) um poliisocianato orgânico tendo uma funcionalidade média de isocianato de pelo menos 2 e uma quantidade de monómero de diisocianato de pelo menos 20 por cento em peso, (ii) um álcool monohídrico e (iii) um poliol tendo uma funcionalidade média de hidroxila de pelo menos 1,8 e no máximo 3,2 por um tempo e temperatura suficientes para formar a composição de pré-polímero, sendo que o poliisocianato orgânico, o álcool monohídrico e o poliol são contatados a uma razão de NCO para hidroxila, de pelo menos 2 e no máximo 5, e o álcool monohídrico e o poliol são providos a uma razão de álcool monohídrico para poliol de pelo menos 0,1 a no máximo 2, baseados nos equivalentes de hidroxila do álcool monohídrico e do poliol.
