Abstract

"ESPUMAS DE POLIURETANO RìGIDAS E MéTODO PARA FORMAR AS REFERIDAS ESPUMAS USANDO DIóIS E TRIóIS DE PESO MOLECULAR BAIXO" A presente invenção é uma espuma de poliuretano compreendendo o produto de reação de um primeiro reagente compreendido de um poliisocianato tendo uma funcionalidade média de isocianato de pelo menos 2 e um segundo reagente compreendido de um composto de peso molecular baixo que possui pelo menos dois até, no máximo, três grupos contendo um hidrogênio ativo e água, onde o produto de reação é formado essencialmente na ausência de um poliol de reticulação e a espuma de poliuretano é substancialmente rígida. A invenção é também um método para formar uma espuma de poliuretano através do contato do primeiro e segundo reagentes durante um tempo e temperatura suficientes para formar a espuma.
