Abstract

"processo para produzir material pelotizado expansível e peças moldadas de espuma moldável, material pelotizado expansível, uso do material pelotizado expansível, mistura de polímero, e, espuma" a invenção refere-se a um método para produzir granulados expansíveis contendo ácido poliláctico, compreendendo as seguintes etapas: a) fundir e misturar os componentes: i) entre 5 e 99,9% em peso, relativamente ao peso total de componentes de i) a iii), de ácido poliláctico, ii) entre 0 e 49,9 % em peso, relativamente ao peso total de componentes de i) a iii), de pelo menos um outro polímero, iii) entre 0,1 e 2 % em peso, relativamente ao peso total de componentes de i) a iii), de um diepóxido ou poliepóxido, e iv) entre 0 a 10 % em peso de menos um aditivo, b) misturar v) entre 3 e 7 % em peso, relativamente ao peso total dos componentes de i a iv), de um agente de sopragem orgânico, na massa em fusão de polímero, por meio de um misturador estático ou dinâmico a uma temperatura de pelo menos 40 c, c) descarregar a mistura através de uma placa extrusora com orifícios, apresentando um diâmetro máximo na saída da placa extrusora de 1,5 mm, e d) granular a massa em fusão compreendendo agente de sopragem diretamente por trás da placa extrusora, subaquática, a uma pressão entre 1 e 20 bar (100 a 2.000 kpa). a invenção refere-se também a granulados expansíveis compreendendo ácido poliláctico, que pode ser obtido de acordo com referido método, e a granulados expansíveis especiais compreendendo ácido poliláctico, e entre 3 e 7% em peso de um agente de sopragem orgânico, de preferência, n-pentano, e, de forma particularmente preferível, isopentano. a invenção refere-se também a um método preferido para produzir granulados expansíveis contendo ácido poliláctico e um agente de sopragem, com uma baixa densidade volumétrica.
