Abstract

a invenção se refere a um processo para a preparação de grânulos expansíveis contendo ácido polilático, compreendendo as etapas de: (a) fusão e incorporação por mistura dos seguintes componentes: i) de 65 a 95% em peso, com base no peso total dos componentes i a iii, de ácido polilático, em que o ácido polilático consiste em: ia) de 65 a 95% em peso de ácido polilático com um teor de 0,3 a 5% de ácido d-lático e ib) de 5 a 35% em peso de ácido polilático com um teor de 10 a 18% de ácido d-lático; ii) de 5 a 35% em peso, com base no peso total dos componentes i a iii, de um poliéster alifático selecionado a partir do grupo que consiste em succinato de polibutileno, succinato-co-adipato de polibutileno e succinato-co-sebacato de polibutileno; iii) de 0 a 2% em peso, com base no peso total dos componentes i a iii, de um compatibilizador; iv) de 0,1 a 5% em peso, com base no peso total dos componentes i a iii de um aditivo, (b) incorporação por mistura de v) de 1 a 7% em peso, com base no peso total dos componentes i a iv, de um agente de expansão orgânico e vi) de 0,01 a 5% em peso de um co-agente de expansão - selecionado a partir do grupo de nitrogênio, dióxido de carbono, argônio, hélio e misturas dos mesmos - para o polímero fundido por meio de um misturador estático ou dinâmico a uma temperatura de pelo menos 140 °c, (c) descarga através de uma placa de matriz com perfurações, cujo diâmetro na saída da matriz é de no máximo 1,5 mm, e (d) peletização submersa da massa fundida contendo o agente de expansão diretamente a jusante da placa de matriz a uma pressão na faixa de 100 a 2100 kpa (1 a 21 bar).
