Abstract

"SISTEMA DE AGLUTINANTE, MISTURA DE AREIA DE NúCLEO E PROCESSO PARA SUA PRODUçãO". A invenção refere-se a um sistema aglutinante à base de vidro solúvel, consistindo de uma solução de silicato de álcali aquosa, com uma composição geral: xSiO~ 2~.yM~ 2~O.zH~ 2~O, sendo que M representa os íons de álcali Li+, K^ +^ ou Na^ +^, e de uma base higroscópica que é adicionada na razão de 1 : 4 a 1 : 6, sendo que o módulo Na~ 2~O/SiO~ 2~ é igual a 2,5 a 3,5 em uma percentagem de sólidos de 20 a 40%, e sendo que como base higroscópica emprega-se lixívia de soda a 30% em uma solução aquosa. De acordo com a invenção, a solução de silicato de álcali aquosa consiste em uma solução em emulsão, consistindo de 8 a 1 0% de óleo de silicone, em relação à quantidade total de aglutinante, o óleo de silicone tendo um ponto de ebulição <242> 250<198>C. A quantidade de aglutinante para uma mistura de areia de núcleo está entre 1,0 e 2,5% em relação à quantidade total de material sólido granular. O método de produção ocorre em uma máquina de lançamento de núcleo, compreendendo um alojamento disposto verticalmente com uma entrada de ar horizontal. A mistura de areia de núcleo é introduzida em um cilindro de areia fendido por meio de um a tremonha. Durante o processo de lançamento, a ligação entre a tremonha e o cilindro de areia é fechada. A mistura de areia de núcleo no cilindro de areia fendido é comprimida utilizando-se pressão de ar comprimido de p1 e propulsionando para a caixa de núcleo utilizando-se uma pressão P~ 2~ > P~ 1~.
