Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "CATALISADORES PARA A OXIDAçãO EM FASE GASOSA DE ETILENO E áCIDO ACéTICO A ACETATO DE VINILA, UM PROCESSO PARA PRODUZì-LOS E SEUS USOS". A invenção refere-se a um catalisador suportado e à produção e uso do mesmo na síntese de acetato de vinila em fase gasosa a partir de etileno, ácido acético e oxigênio ou de gases contendo oxigênio, no qual a atividade e a seletividade são simultaneamente melhorados. O catalisador contém paládio, pelo menos um composto de metal alcalino e opcionalmente um ou mais aceleradores de catalisador, em particular, ouro, bário e/ou cádmio num suporte poroso. O referido suporte contém pelo menos um óxido de metal reduzível, em particular óxidos de elementos dos grupos IIIb, IVb, Vb, VIb da tabela periódica dos elementos. Uma vez que o suporte tenha sido carregado com pelo menos um composto de paládio, a redução é efetuada numa temperatura superior a 200<198>C.
