Abstract
Eldeki bulus bir tasiyici katalizör, bunun elde edilmesi ve gaz fazinda etilenden, asetik asitten ve oksijenden veya oksijen içeren gazlardan ayni zamanda aktivite ve seçicilik iyilestirilerek vinil asetat sentezinde kullanilmasi ile ilgilidir. Katalizör en az bir indirgenebilir metal oksit, özellikle periyodik sistemdeki elementlerden IIIb, IVb, Vb, VIb grubundaki elementlerin oksitlerini içeren bir gözenekli tasiyici üzerinde paladyum, en az bir alkali metal bilesigi, ayrica gerek görüldügü takdirde bir veya daha fazla destekleyici, özellikle altin, baryum ve/veya kadmiyum içerir. Destekleyici en az bir paladyum bilesigi ile yüklendikten sonra, 200 C' den daha yüksek bir sicaklikta redüksiyon islemi yürütülür.
