Abstract
Reivindicacion 1: Un proceso para la produccion de al menos un metabolito microbiano con al menos 3 átomos de carbono, o al menos 2 átomos de carbono y al menos 1 átomo de nitrogeno mediante fermentacion microbiana basada en azucar, que comprende: a) la preparacion de un medio líquido que contiene azucar con un contenido de monosacárido de más del 20% en peso de un alimento de almidon, en donde el medio líquido que contiene azucar también comprende constituyentes solidos distintos de almidon del alimento de almidon; b) la fermentacion del medio líquido que contiene azucar para la produccion del(os) metabolito(s); y c) la eliminacion o el aislamiento de al menos un metabolito a partir del licor de fermentacion, en donde se cultiva en el medio líquido que contiene azucar, una cepa de microorganismo que produce el(os) metabolito(s) de interés, en donde el medio líquido se obtiene por: a1) moliendo del alimento de almidon; y a2) licuefaccion de la base de molienda en un líquido acuoso en presencia de al menos una enzima que licua el almidon, seguido de sacarificacion usando al menos una enzima sacarificante, en donde al menos parte de la base de molienda se licua por agregado continuo o en tandas al líquido acuoso. Reivindicacion 27: Una composicion proteica de acuerdo con una de las reivindicaciones 24 a 26 que contiene al menos uno de los aminoácidos esenciales seleccionados de lisina, metionina, treonina y triptofano. Reivindicacion 28: El uso de un medio líquido que contiene azucar de acuerdo a como se define en una de las reivindicaciones 1 a 22 para la produccion fermentativa de un metabolito microbiano con al menos 3 átomos de carbono, o con al menos 2 átomos de carbono y al menos un átomo de nitrogeno.
