Abstract
Description
本願はこれらの要請の実現を目的とする。
前記車輪の上方で前記フロントフォークに取付けられるフロントフェンダ(17)を備え、
このフロントフェンダ(17)が前後に第1フェンダ(30)及び第2フェンダ(40)に分割可能に構成されている鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダにおいて、
前記第1フェンダ(30)には車幅方向外側へ膨出する膨出部(38)が設けられ、
前記第1フェンダ(30)の左右端部に車体略後方へ向いた第1フェンダ取付部(37)が設けられ、
この第1フェンダ取付部(37)は前記膨出部(38)の車体内側方向に配置されるとともに、
前記第2フェンダ(40)には、前記第1フェンダ(30)の前記第1フェンダ取付部(37)が臨む位置に車体側方へ延出する張出壁部(45)が設けられ、
この張出壁部(45)には第1フェンダ取付部(37)に対応した第2フェンダ取付部(47)が設けられ、
結合部材により、第2フェンダ取付部(47)と第1フェンダ取付部(37)を前後方向から結合することにより、前記第1フェンダ(30)と前記第2フェンダ(40)を結合した前記フロントフェンダ(17)を形成し、このフロントフェンダ(17)を前記フロントフォーク(14)へに取付けたことを特徴とする。
前面視で前記後部フロントフォーク取付部(43)は、前記膨出部(38)と重複する位置に配置されていることを特徴とする。
他方の上面に前記凸部(46)に対応した凹部(36)が設けられ、
前記凸部(46)と前記凹部(36)のどちらか一方の外周に爪部(46c)を設け、
他方の外周に前記爪部と対応した爪受け部(36c)を構成したことを特徴とする。
前記第1フェンダ(30)か前記第2フェンダ(40)のどちらか一方の上面に、連結端部から結合方向に突出した凸部(46)が構成され、
他方の上面に前記凸部(46)に対応した凹部(36)が設けられ、
前記凸部(46)と前記凹部(36)のどちらか一方の外周にリブ(60)を設け、
このリブ(60)と他方の外周とを重複した状態で保持するための保持部(71・73・74)を、前記凸部(46)と前記凹部(36)のどちらか一方の下面に設けたことを特徴とする。
また、車体前後方向でフロントフェンダを係合しているため、フェンダの上下方向の幅を薄く抑えることができ、さらに係合孔は膨出部の内側に設けられているため、係合部を見せることなく外観性をよく保てることに加え、係合部を外部にさらさないため、飛び石などからフェンダ係合部を護ることができる。
また、飛び石などから係合部をフロントフォークで護ることができる。
前輪15の上部は、フロントフェンダ17により覆われる。フロントフェンダ17はフロントフォーク14に支持される。18はヘッドライト、19はヘッドライトカバー、20はフロントカウル、21はエンジン、22はシート、23はリヤスイングアーム、24は後輪である。
フロントフォーク14は左右一対で設けられ、それぞれはインナーチューブ25とボトムチューブ(アウターチューブ)26からなる伸縮式である。
ボトムチューブ26は前方を側部32により覆われるが、側面が側部32よりも若干外方へ出ている(図3参照)。第2フェンダ40は正面視でボトムチューブ26より内側に位置する。
なお、フロントカウル20の前端部は、フロントフォーク14の側方へ張り出して側面視で重なり(図1参照)、フロントフェンダ17は正面視で左右のフロントカウル20の前端部間に位置する。
第2フェンダ40は、第1フェンダ30より一段低くなってフロントフォーク14から後方へ延出して、エンジン21の前方まで延び(図1参照)、前輪15の頂部から後方を覆う。
第2フェンダ40は、ボトムチューブ26の上部から後方へ突出するステー26cに対して、ボルト27cにて締結されている。
第2フェンダ40は、前輪15の上部を覆う本体部41を備え、その前端部は、フロントフォーク14とその内側で交差して前方へ延出し、後端縁上部32aに当接している。
フロントフェンダ17の頂部は、凸部46及び頂部背面41bが下方へ凹む凹部をなしている。
また、第2フェンダ40の上面は、張出壁部45より後方が、頂部背面41bにより下方へ弓なり状の段差になっている。このためフロントフェンダ17の上面を流れる走行風が、張出壁部45より後方で段差により引き離されるようになる。
側部32は下方側が外方へ広がるように下方へ延出し、ボトムチューブ(アウターチューブ)26の外側近傍まで延びている。本体部41は左右のボトムチューブ(アウターチューブ)26の内側に配置されている。
この結合部は、タッピングスクリュー50を含めて接続部35の内側になり、外観されなくなる。また、タッピングスクリュー50の後方にはボトムチューブ(アウターチューブ)26が位置し、この部分がボトムチューブ(アウターチューブ)26で保護される。
ボス43は、ボトムチューブ(アウターチューブ)26から後方へ突出するステー26cの内側へ重ねられ、外側からボルト27cにより、ボス43の内側へ設けられたナット43aへ締結される。
図10は、Aに第1フェンダ30の斜め前方から示す斜視図、Bに第2フェンダ40の斜め後方から示す斜視図を示す。
第1フェンダ30は適当な合成樹脂で成形され、上部31が左右の側部32の各上部を連結し、一体的に形成される。上部31の後半側には凹部36が形成されている。取付部33、34は内方へ突出するボスとなっている。
本体部41は左右方向断面が略半円状をなし、中央から左右へ回り込み、この回り込み部分が側部42をなす。
左右の側部42のうち、張出壁部45に近い部分に側方へ突出するボス43,44が設けられている。本体部41の張出壁部45近傍部分は本体上面凹部41aになっている。
Aに示すように、凹部36は、上部31の後端部から前方へ向かって略U字状に切り欠かれた形状をなす。
凹部36の周縁部は、凹部36に臨んで内方へ張り出して、凸部46を下方から受けるように形成され、前縁部36a及び側縁部36bからなる。
上部31の前縁部36a及び側縁部36bに連続する部分は、下方へ向かって傾斜するテーパー面の縁部31bになっている。
周縁部46aの前端部左右には、爪受け部36cへ係合する爪46cが前方へ突出して形成されている。
ボス43とボス44は前後方向の位置が異なり、左側のボス43が右側のボス44より若干前方に位置する。
Aにおいて、第1フェンダ取付部37は、上部31の後端部内側へ後方斜め下がりに形成され、後端部は側部32の後縁部32a近傍になっている。凹部36は上部31の上面よりも低い位置に形成されている。
ボス43及びボス44には、ボルト通し穴43a、44aが設けられている。
第2フェンダ40の凸部46を第1フェンダ30の凹部36へ重ね、爪46cを爪受け部36cへ差し込み、係合突部46eを係止穴36eへ差し込むと、第1フェンダ30と第2フェンダ40がこれらの部分で係合し、仮組みされる。
フロントフェンダ17の取り外し及び分解は逆手順となる。
また、車体前後方向で第1フェンダ30と第2フェンダ40を結合しているため、フロントフェンダの上下方向の幅を薄く抑えることができる。
また、結合部を外部へ露出させないため、飛び石などから結合部を保護することができる。
第2保持部72は略L字状をなし、下面から下方へ突出した後、先端部72aが凹部36の中心側である内側へ向かって突出している。
第3保持部73は第2保持部72と同様の略L字状をなし、下面から下方へ突出した後、先端部73aが内側へ向かって突出している。なお、図14は、凹部36をその周縁部近傍部の下面が見えるように後方から示した図である。
第2受け部62は、下方へ一体に突出形成された立て壁部66により形成され、前方及び外側へ開放された略L字状の凹部をなしている。フランジ60の一部は、この凹部の上を覆うように張り出す張り出し部60aになっている。立て壁部66も第2受け部62及びその近傍のフランジ60を強化する一種のリブになっている。
なお、フランジ60は、これらメインリブ67やサブリブ68等で補強されているが、フランジ60自体も、凸部46の周囲を囲んでこれを補強するリブとなっている。
そこで、第1保持部71の嵌合突起を第1受け部61の嵌合穴64へ嵌合すると、傾斜部70とフランジ60の前端部が係合される。
これにより、前後の第1フェンダ30と第2フェンダ40が仮組み立てされるので、その後、第1フェンダ取付部37と第2フェンダ取付部47を締結して連結一体化すると、フロントフェンダが組み立てられる。
例えば、フロントフォークは左右一対のものでも片持ち式のもであってもよい。
また、第1フェンダと第2フェンダの前後配置を逆にすることもできる。さらに、凸部46と凹部36の形成を逆にして、凸部46を第1フェンダへ設け、凹部36を第2フェンダへ設けてもよい。
さらに、第2実施例におけるリブ(フランジ60)も、凸部46又は凹部36の外周部いずれか側へ設けることができ、第1~第3保持部71~73も凸部46又は凹部36の外周部いずれか側へ設けることができる。
また、第1フェンダ30と第2フェンダ40との結合は、ネジやボルトによる締結に限定されず、クリップなど種々な結合形式及び結合部材を用いた結合が可能である。
さらに、本願発明を適用する車両は自動2輪車に限らず、フロントフェンダを設けた鞍乗り型車両ならばどのような車両も対象になる。
Claims (9)
- 前輪と前記前輪の車軸を支持するフロントフォーク(14)と、
前記車輪の上方で前記フロントフォークに取付けられるフロントフェンダ(17)を備え、
このフロントフェンダ(17)が第1フェンダ(30)及び第2フェンダ(40)に分割可能に構成されている鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダにおいて、
前記第1フェンダ(30)には車幅方向外側へ膨出する膨出部(38)が設けられ、
前記第1フェンダ(30)の左右端部に車体略後方へ向いた第1フェンダ取付部(37)が設けられ、
この第1フェンダ取付部(37)は前記膨出部(38)の車体内側方向に配置されるとともに、
前記第2フェンダ(40)には、前記第1フェンダ(30)の前記第1フェンダ取付部(37)が臨む位置に車体側方へ延出する張出壁部(45)が設けられ、
この張出壁部(45)には第1フェンダ取付部(37)に対応した第2フェンダ取付部(47)が設けられ、
結合部材により、第2フェンダ取付部(47)と第1フェンダ取付部(37)を前後方向から結合することにより、前記第1フェンダ(30)と前記第2フェンダ(40)を結合した前記フロントフェンダ(17)を形成し、このフロントフェンダ(17)を前記フロントフォーク(14)へに取付けたことを特徴とする鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダ構造。 - 前記フロントフォーク(14)が前記フロントフェンダへ臨む位置に前記第2フェンダ(40)の第2フェンダ取付部(47)を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダ構造。
- 前記膨出部(38)の車幅方向内側に前記フロントフォーク(14)を取付ける前部フロントフォーク取付部(33・34)を設け、前記フロントフォーク(14)から車体側方へ延びる取付部(26a)と、締結部材(27a)で取付けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダ構造。
- 前記第2フェンダ(40)に後部フロントフォーク取付部(43)が設けられ、
前面視で前記後部フロントフォーク取付部(43)は、前記膨出部(38)と重複する位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項2又は3記載の鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダ構造。 - 前記第1フェンダ(30)か前記第2フェンダ(40)のどちらか一方の上面に、連結端部から結合方向に突出した凸部(46)が構成され、
他方の上面に前記凸部(46)に対応した凹部(36)が設けられ、
前記凸部(46)と前記凹部(36)のどちらか一方の外周に爪部(46c)を設け、
他方の外周に前記爪部と対応した爪受け部(36c)を構成したことを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載した鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダ構造。 - 前記凸部(46)を前記凹部(36)へ係合するとともに、この状態で前記凸部(46)の車体前後幅の範囲において、車幅方向の断面にて前面視で、前記凹部(36)が前記凸部(46)より上方にあることを特徴とする請求項5記載の鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダ構造。
- 前記フロントフェンダ(17)の側面視で、前記張出壁部(45)から後方の部分の上面は、前記張出壁部(45)から前方の部分の上面と比べて下方となるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載した鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダ構造。
- 前記第1フェンダ(30)か前記第2フェンダ(40)のどちらか一方の上面に、連結端部から結合方向に突出した凸部(46)が構成され、
他方の上面に前記凸部(46)に対応した凹部(36)が設けられ、
前記凸部(46)と前記凹部(36)のどちらか一方の外周にリブ(60)を設け、
このリブ(60)と他方の外周とを重複した状態で保持するための保持部(71・73・74)を、前記凸部(46)と前記凹部(36)のどちらか一方の下面に設けたことを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載した鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダ構造。 - 前記第1フェンダ(30)と第2フェンダ(40)は、互いに違う色に着色したことを特徴とする請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載した鞍乗り型車両のフロントフェンダ構造。
