Abstract
Description
そこで、例えば特許文献1では、別部品を用いてベアリングをハウジングに固定する転がり軸受の固定方法が提案されている。この特許文献1に係る転がり軸受固定装置は、ハウジングと、外輪と内輪との間に複数の転動体が円周方向に転動可能に配設される転がり軸受(ベアリング)と、ハウジングを軸方向に挟むと共に外輪の軸方向両端部を挟持する環状の一対の固定プレートと、一対の固定プレートをハウジングを介して軸方向に連結するボルトとによって、転がり軸受の外輪をハウジングに固定する構造であった。
実施の形態1.
図1に示すベアリング保持構造7は、例えば図2に示すようなバタフライバルブに適用される。この図1は、図2のAA線に沿ってバタフライバルブを切断した断面図であり、当該バタフライバルブに組み付けた状態のベアリング保持構造7を示している。
このバタフライバルブは、上側ハウジング11および下側ハウジング13から成るハウジング1と、下側ハウジング13の内部に形成されて排気ガス循環通路に連通する流体通路2と、上側ハウジング11に固定されたアクチュエータ3と、流体通路2を開閉して循環排気ガス量を調整する弁体4と、弁体4を動作させる支持軸5と、支持軸5を回転可能に軸支するベアリング6と、ベアリング6をハウジング1に保持するベアリング保持構造7とからなる。アクチュエータ3の駆動力が不図示のギア等を介して支持軸5に伝達され、支持軸5を回転動作させることによって、弁体4が流体通路2を開閉して排気ガス循環量を調整する。
図1に示すように、ベアリング6は主に、支持軸5に固定された内輪61と、後述するスリーブ71の内周面に圧入された外輪62と、これら内輪61と外輪62の間に介在する複数の転動体63とから構成されている。また、ベアリング6の内輪61を保持するために、内輪61の一方の端部を、支持軸5に圧入されたパイプ9に当接し、内輪61のもう一方の端部を、支持軸5に挿入しナットで締付けたプレート8に当接させて挟持している。
ベアリング保持構造7は、略円筒状のスリーブ71と、板状の押さえプレート77とを有する。スリーブ71の筒部72は、外周面が上側ハウジング11の凹部12に圧入されるハウジング圧入部73と、内周面にベアリング6が圧入されるベアリング圧入部74とから成る。また、筒部72の一端部には、内側に突出してベアリング6の抜けを防止する抜け止め部75が形成されている。この抜け止め部75の内径をベアリング6の外径よりも小さくして、ベアリング6の外輪62を抜け止め部75に当て止めする。
この押さえプレート77の材質を、スリーブ71と同様に、ステンレス鋼材(SUS)または鉄系材にすれば、振動および熱履歴環境下においても高い保持力を確保できる。さらに、押さえプレート77自身の抜け防止として、コーキングまたは溶接により押さえプレート77をスリーブ71に固定してもよい(図3に示すコーキングまたは溶接箇所B)。これにより、強固な保持力が得られる。
先ず、スリーブ71の内周面(ベアリング圧入部74)へベアリング6を圧入し、さらに押さえプレート77を圧入する。ここで、抜け防止のために、コーキングまたは溶接を実施して、スリーブ71と押さえプレート77を固着してもよい。これで、Sub-Assy部品としてのベアリング保持構造7が組み立て完了である。
また、ベアリング保持構造7はSub-Assy部品として組み付けられるので、総Assyの組立が容易となる。また、取り付けの自由度が高いため、排気ガス循環バルブへの構成がし易くなる。
さらに使用環境が厳しい場合には、スリーブ71の抜け止め部75とは反対側の開口端部に圧入されてベアリング6の抜けを防止する押さえプレート77を、ベアリング保持構造7に追加することにより、さらに高い保持強度が得られる。
また、押さえプレート77を必要としない場合に、ベアリング6の抜け防止として、コーキングまたは溶接によりベアリング6をスリーブ71に固定してもよい(図5に示すコーキングまたは溶接箇所C)。これにより、抜け止めとしての強固な保持力が得られる。
図6に示すベアリング保持構造7-2は、例えば図7に示すようなバタフライバルブに適用される。この図6は、図7のEE線に沿ってバタフライバルブを切断した断面図であり、当該バタフライバルブに組み付けた状態のベアリング保持構造7-2を示している。また、図8および図9は、図7のEE線に沿って切断したベアリング保持構造7-2の断面を示す。
上記実施の形態1では、上側ハウジング11側にベアリング6を設置する場合のベアリング保持構造7,7-1について説明したが、この実施の形態2では、下側ハウジング13側にベアリング6を設置する場合のベアリング保持構造7-2について説明する。
なお、図6~図9において、図1~図5と同一または相当の部分については同一の符号を付し説明を省略する。
先ず、スリーブ71の内周面(ベアリング圧入部74)へベアリング6を圧入し、さらに、スリーブ71から軸方向に飛び出す高さをもつ押さえプレート77の一端部を圧入する。これで、Sub-Assy部品としてのベアリング保持構造7-2が組み立て完了である。
続いて、ベアリング保持構造7-2をバタフライバルブに組み込む際は、スリーブ71から飛び出している押さえプレート77のハウジング圧入部73を、下側ハウジング13の押さえプレート嵌合溝15へ軽圧入する。あとは上記実施の形態1と同様に、複数のネジ78を用いて、ネジ留め部76を下側ハウジング13にネジ留めすることにより、高い保持力を確保する。
もちろん、排気ガス循環バルブに限らず、流量調整バルブ、スロットルバルブなどに用いてもよい。
Claims (10)
- 内部に流体通路が形成されたハウジングと、前記流体通路を開閉する弁体と、前記弁体を動作させる支持軸と、前記支持軸を回転可能に軸支するベアリングとを備えるバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造であって、
外周面を前記ハウジングに圧入するハウジング圧入部および内周面に前記ベアリングを圧入するベアリング圧入部を設けた筒部と、当該筒部の一端部において内側に突出して前記ベアリングの抜けを防止する抜け止め部とから成るスリーブを有することを特徴とするバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。 - 前記筒部は、前記ハウジング圧入部と前記ベアリング圧入部とが軸方向の異なる位置に配置され、前記ハウジング圧入部の外径より前記ベアリング圧入部の外径のほうが小さいことを特徴とする請求項1記載のバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。
- 前記スリーブは、前記抜け止め部とは反対側の端部において外側に突出して前記ハウジングにネジ留めされるネジ留め部を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。
- 前記スリーブは、ステンレス鋼材または鉄系材で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。
- 前記スリーブの前記抜け止め部とは反対側の開口端部に圧入されて、前記ベアリングの抜けを防止する押さえプレートを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。
- 前記押さえプレートは、ステンレス鋼材または鉄系材で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項5記載のバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。
- 前記スリーブと前記押さえプレートは、コーキングまたは溶接により固定されていることを特徴とする請求項5記載のバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。
- 前記スリーブと前記ベアリングは、コーキングまたは溶接により固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。
- 車両の排気ガス循環通路に設置される排気ガス循環バルブに用いられることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。
- 内部に流体通路が形成されたハウジングと、前記流体通路を開閉する弁体と、前記弁体を動作させる支持軸と、前記支持軸を回転可能に軸支するベアリングとを備えるバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造であって、
内周面に前記ベアリングを圧入するベアリング圧入部を設けた筒部、および当該筒部の一端側において内側に突出して前記ベアリングの抜けを防止する抜け止め部から成るスリーブと、
外周面の一端側は、前記ハウジングに圧入するハウジング圧入部を成し、当該外周面の他端側は、前記スリーブの前記抜け止め部とは反対側の開口端部に圧入して前記ベアリングの抜けを防止する押さえプレートとを有することを特徴とするバタフライバルブのベアリング保持構造。
