前記変性共役ジエン系ゴムが、少なくとも1つの変性部と、少なくとも1つの共役ジエン系ゴム部とを有し、

本発明において、本発明のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物を「本発明の組成物」ということがある。また、式(1)で表されるポリシロキサンを「式(1)の平均組成式で表されるポリシロキサン」ということがある。
本発明において、式(1)の平均組成式で表されるポリシロキサンは、シリカをゴム組成物中に多量に配合させることができ、かつ、多量のシリカをゴム組成物中に十分に分散させることができる。
本発明の組成物が上記のような効果を達成することについて本願発明者は以下のように考える。
本発明の組成物に含まれる硫黄含有シランカップリング剤[式(1)の平均組成式で表されるポリシロキサン]は、その骨格がシロキサン構造である。また、当該硫黄含有シランカップリング剤がBで表される炭素数5~10の1価の炭化水素基を有する場合、当該Bがメルカプト基に対する有効な保護基として機能できると考えられる。よって、骨格のシロキサン構造によって、Bを有する場合にはさらに当該Bの存在によって、硫黄含有シランカップリング剤が有するメルカプト基の周辺は従来のメルカプトシランよりさらに嵩高いと考えられる。
このような嵩高い(バルキーな)構造によって、硫黄含有シランカップリング剤が有するメルカプト基は保護され、本発明のタイヤ用ゴム組成物のムーニースコーチ時間が長く加工安定性が確保される。
しかし、本発明において、硫黄含有シランカップリング剤が有するこのような嵩高い構造は、加硫時における加硫速度の促進を阻害しないということができる。加硫時の加熱等によって、硫黄含有シランカップリング剤が有するメルカプト基は、ジエン系ゴムと相互作用及び/又は反応することができるようになると考えられる。よって、本発明の組成物は、加工安定性と加硫時の加硫速度が速いこととを両立させることができる。
また、当該硫黄含有シランカップリング剤は、Cで表される加水分解性基、シロキサン構造を有するので、従来のメルカプトシランよりシリカとの親和性、反応性が優れると考えられる。さらに当該硫黄含有シランカップリング剤の分子量が適切な範囲である場合、シリカとの親和性、反応性がより優れることが予想される。これらのことによって、本発明の組成物は優れたウェット性能、耐摩耗性を達成すると考えられる。
また、本発明においては、変性共役ジエン系ゴムが有する変性部が、シリカの分散性を促進し、これがシリカと当該硫黄含有シランカップリング剤[例えば、式(1)で表されるポリシロキサン])との反応(シラニゼーション)を促進してシリカの分散性をより向上させることに繋がると考えられる。
このような理由から、本発明のゴム組成物はシリカの凝集や粘度上昇を抑制し、本発明の組成物を用いることによってウェット性能および転がり抵抗に優れたタイヤを作製することができる。
なお上記メカニズムは本願発明者の推定であり、上記以外のメカニズムであっても本願発明の範囲内である。
変性共役ジエン系ゴムについて以下に説明する。
本発明の組成物において、ジエン系ゴム成分は、変性共役ジエン系ゴムを含む。
本発明において、ジエン系ゴム成分に含まれる変性共役ジエン系ゴムは、1分子あたり、少なくとも1つの変性部と少なくとも1つの共役ジエン系ゴム部とを有し、変性部は共役ジエン系ゴム部の端部に結合する。
変性共役ジエン系ゴムは、1分子あたり、1つ以上の変性部と、2つ以上の共役ジエン系ゴム部とを有することができる。変性共役ジエン系ゴムは、1分子あたり、3つ以上の共役ジエン系ゴム部を有するのが好ましい。
1つの変性部は、少なくとも1つの共役ジエン系ゴム部と結合すればよい。1つの変性部は1つ又は2つ以上の共役ジエン系ゴム部と結合することができる。すなわち、本発明において、変性共役ジエン系ゴムは、1つの変性部に1つ以上の共役ジエン系ゴム部が結合するものの混合物であってもよい。
また、変性共役ジエン系ゴムの分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は、特に限定されないが、好ましくは1.1~3.0、より好ましくは1.2~2.5、特に好ましくは1.3~2.2である。分子量分布(Mw/Mn)が3.0以下であると、得られるタイヤの低転がり抵抗性がより優れたものとなる。
本発明において、変性部は、シリカと相互作用する官能基を有する。
シリカと相互作用する官能基は、後述する、変性共役ジエン系ゴムを製造する際に使用される変性剤が有する、シリカと相互作用する官能基と対応する。
シリカと相互作用する官能基は、当該変性剤が有する、活性末端と反応可能な反応性基と同じ種類の基であってもよい。
シリカと相互作用する官能基は、当該変性剤が有する、活性末端と反応可能な反応性基と、活性末端とが反応した後に生成した基であってもよい。
シリカと相互作用する官能基としては、例えば、ヒドロカルビルオキシシリル基、シラノール基、ヒドロキシル基(シラノール基を除く。)、アルデヒド基、カルボキシル基、アミノ基、イミノ基、エポキシ基、アミド其、チオール基、エーテル結合が挙げられる。
なかでも、官能基は、エポキシ基及び/又はヒドロカルビルオキシシリル基であるのが好ましい。ヒドロカルビルオキシシリル基は、ケイ素原子とヒドロカルビルオキシ基(-OR:ここでRは炭化水素基またはアリール基)とを有する。
一般式(VI): *-Z-Y-E
ポリオルガノシロキサンは、直鎖状、分岐状、環状、これらの組合わせのいずれであってもよい。
ポリオルガノシロキサンが有する炭化水素基は特に制限されない。例えば、脂肪族炭化水素基、脂環式炭化水素基、芳香族炭化水素基、これらの組合わせが挙げられる。具体的には例えば、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数6~12のアリール基が挙げられる。
シリカと相互作用する官能基とポリオルガノシロキサンとは、直接又は炭化水素基を介して結合することができる。炭化水素基は特に制限されない。
本発明において、変性共役ジエン系ゴムは、少なくとも1つの共役ジエン系ゴム部を有し、共役ジエン系ゴム部はその1つ当たりに、共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックとイソプレン単位を70質量%以上100質量%以下含有するイソプレンブロックとを有する。
イソプレンブロック中のイソプレン単位の含有量は、80質量%以上であることが好ましく、90質量%以上であることがより好ましく、100質量%であることが特に好ましい。
本発明において、共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックは、例えば、共役ジエン系単量体(d1)と芳香族ビニル単量体とを用いて得ることができる。
また、共役ジエン系ゴム部のビニル結合含有量は、ウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性、加工性により優れ、耐摩耗性に優れるという観点から、共役ジエン系ゴム部を構成する共役ジエン単位の20~35モル%であり、23~35質量%であるのが好ましく、26~34質量%であるのがより好ましい。なお、共役ジエン系ゴム部のビニル単位は、共役ジエン系ゴム部全体を構成する共役ジエン単量体に由来するビニル単位とすることができる。
この場合、変性共役ジエン系ゴムは、ウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性、加工性により優れ、耐摩耗性に優れるという観点から、共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックと変性部との間に上記イソプレンブロックを有するのが好ましい。
共役ジエン系ゴム部が端部に共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックを有する場合、変性共役ジエン系ゴムの重量平均分子量は、ウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性、加工性により優れ、耐摩耗性に優れるという観点から、60万~100万が好ましく、60万~90万であるのがより好ましく、65万~85万であるのがさらに好ましい。
この場合、変性共役ジエン系ゴムは、ウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性、加工性により優れ、耐摩耗性に優れるという観点から、イソプレンブロックと変性部との間に上記共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックを有するのが好ましい。
変性共役ジエン系ゴムの製造方法は特に制限されない。例えば、炭化水素溶媒中、有機活性金属化合物を重合開始剤として用いて、共役ジエン系単量体(d1)及び芳香族ビニル単量体(以下これらを合わせて共役ジエン系共重合体ブロック用モノマーという。)と、並びに、イソプレン(以下これをイソプレンブロック用モノマーという。後述する単量体(d2)を含む場合を含む。)、必要に応じて使用することができる、イソプレンと共重合し得るその他の単量体(d2)を溶液重合させることによって、活性末端を有する共役ジエン系ゴム鎖を得る重合工程と、
前記共役ジエン系ゴム鎖と、前記活性末端と反応可能な反応性基を少なくとも1つ及びシリカと相互作用する官能基を少なくとも1つ有する変性剤とを反応させる変性工程とを有する製造方法が挙げられる。
重合工程において、炭化水素溶媒中、有機活性金属化合物を重合開始剤として用いて、上記の単量体を溶液重合させることによって、活性末端(重合活性末端またはリビング成長末端)を有する共役ジエン系ゴム鎖を得る。共役ジエン系共重合体ブロック用モノマーとイソプレンブロック用モノマーを重合させる順番は、特に制限されず、どちらが先であってもよい。
溶液重合は特に制限されない。使用される炭化水素溶媒としては、通常使用される溶媒であればよく、例えばシクロヘキサン、n-ヘキサン、ベンゼン、トルエン等が例示される。
有機活性金属化合物はそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
変性工程において、上記重合工程で得られた共役ジエン系ゴム鎖と、活性末端と反応可能な反応性基を少なくとも1つ及びシリカと相互作用する官能基を少なくとも1つ有する変性剤とを反応させることによって、変性共役ジエン系ゴムを製造する。変性剤は1分子あたり、活性末端と反応可能な反応性基とシリカと相互作用する官能基とをこれらの合計で3個以上有するのが好ましい。
変性工程において使用される変性剤は、活性末端と反応可能な反応性基と、変性部(変性部はシリカと相互作用する官能基を有する。)とを有することができる。活性末端と反応可能な反応性基はシリカと相互作用する官能基と同一であっても異なってもよい。
変性剤として、例えば、変性剤としてヒドロカルビルオキシシリル基を有するポリオルガノシロキサンを共役ジエン系ゴム鎖が有する活性末端に反応させると、ヒドロカルビルオキシシリル基が有する、ヒドロカルビルオキシ基とケイ素原子との結合が開裂して、そのケイ素原子に共役ジエン系ゴム鎖が直接結合して単結合を形成することができる。
上記式(A4)で表されるヒドロカルビルオキシシランにおいて、R21~R29の具体例および好適な態様は、上記式(A1)中のR1~R8と同様である。
変性剤はそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
変性剤を反応させた後は、メタノールなどのアルコール、または水を添加して活性末端を失活させることが好ましい。
上記のとおり、活性末端を失活させた後、所望により、フェノール系安定剤、リン系安定剤、イオウ系安定剤などの老化防止剤、クラム化剤、およびスケール防止剤などを重合溶液に添加した後、直接乾燥およびスチームストリッピングにより重合溶液から重合溶媒を分離して、変性共役ジエン系ゴムを得ることができる。なお、重合溶液から重合溶媒を分離する前に、重合溶液に伸展油を混合し、変性共役ジエン系ゴムを油展ゴムとして回収してもよい。伸展油の種類、量は特に制限されない。
以上の方法で変性共役ジエン系ゴムを製造することができる。また、変性共役ジエン系ゴムの製造方法については、例えば、特許第5240409号公報、特開2012-131983号公報を参照することができる。
変性共役ジエン系ゴムはそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
本発明の組成物に含有されるゴム成分は、変性共役ジエン系ゴム以外のジエン系ゴムを含有してもよい。
上記ジエン系ゴムとしては特に制限されないが、その具体例としては、天然ゴム(NR)、イソプレンゴム(IR)、ブタジエンゴム(BR)、芳香族ビニル-共役ジエン共重合体ゴム、アクリロニトリル-ブタジエン共重合ゴム(NBR)、ブチルゴム(IIR)、ハロゲン化ブチルゴム(Br-IIR、Cl-IIR)、クロロプレンゴム(CR)などが挙げられる。上記ジエン系ゴムは、1種のジエン系ゴムを単独で用いても、2種以上のジエン系ゴムを併用してもよい。
本発明の組成物に含有されるシリカは特に限定されず、タイヤ等の用途でゴム組成物に配合されている従来公知の任意のシリカを用いることができる。
上記シリカとしては、例えば、湿式シリカ、乾式シリカ、ヒュームドシリカ、珪藻土などが挙げられる。上記シリカは、1種のシリカを単独で用いても、2種以上のシリカを併用してもよい。
ここで、CTAB吸着比表面積は、シリカがシランカップリング剤との吸着に利用できる表面積の代用特性であり、シリカ表面へのCTAB吸着量をJIS K6217-3:2001「第3部:比表面積の求め方-CTAB吸着法」に従って測定した値である。
本発明の組成物に含有されるシランカップリング剤は、下記式(1)で表されるポリシロキサンである。

本発明において、シランカップリング剤はCを有することによって、シリカとの親和性及び/又は反応性に優れる。
シランカップリング剤はDを有することによって、ジエン系ゴムと相互作用及び/又は反応することができ、ウェット性能、耐摩耗性に優れる。
シランカップリング剤がAを有する場合、ウェット性能、加工性(特にムーニースコーチ時間の維持・長期化)により優れ、耐摩耗性に優れる。
シランカップリング剤がBを有する場合、メルカプト基を保護しムーニースコーチ時間が長くなると同時に、ゴムとの親和性に優れることで加工性により優れる。

上記式(1)中、cは、ウェット特性、低転がり抵抗性および加工性がより優れ、シリカの分散性がより優れるというる理由から、1.2≦c≦2.0であることが好ましい。
上記式(1)中、dは、ウェット特性、低転がり抵抗性および加工性がより優れるというる理由から、0.1≦d≦0.8であることが好ましい。
なかでも、耐スコーチ性などの加工性がより優れる理由から、少なくとも式(6)、式(7)、式(5)で表される有機ケイ素化合物を使用するのが好ましい。
また、ウェット性能、耐摩耗性がより優れ、低転がり抵抗性などのタイヤ性能に優れる理由から、少なくとも式(6)、式(7)で表される有機ケイ素化合物を使用するのが好ましい。
上記式(5)中、R52は炭素数1~10のアルキル基または炭素数6~10のアリール基を表す。上記炭素数1~10のアルキル基の具体例としては、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基、ヘキシル基、オクチル基、デシル基などが挙げられる。上記炭素数6~10のアリール基の具体例は上記R3と同じである。

本発明において、式(1)で表されるポリシロキサンを製造する際に使用することができる触媒としては例えば、塩酸、酢酸などの酸性触媒;アンモニウムフルオリドなどのルイス酸触媒;水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、炭酸ナトリウム、酢酸ナトリウム、酢酸カリウム、炭酸水素ナトリウム、炭酸カリウム、炭酸水素カリウム、炭酸カルシウム、ナトリウムメトキシド、ナトリウムエトキシドなどのアルカリ金属塩;アルカリ土類金属塩;トリエチルアミン、トリブチルアミン、ピリジン、4-ジメチルアミノピリジンなどのアミン化合物などが挙げられる。
上記触媒は、金属としてSn、TiまたはAlを含有する有機金属化合物でないことが好ましい。このような有機金属化合物を使用した場合、ポリシロキサン骨格に金属が導入されて、上記特定ポリシロキサン(骨格には、ケイ素原子以外の金属(例えば、Sn、Ti、Al)は存在しない)が得られないことがある。
触媒としてSn、TiまたはAlを含有する有機金属化合物を使用しない場合、ポリシロキサンには触媒由来の金属が分子内に導入される(例えば、ポリシロキサン骨格に金属が導入される。)ことはなく、本発明の組成物を通常雰囲気又は高湿環境下においても空気中の湿気で硬化やゲル化が生じることはなく、保存安定性に優れる。
触媒の量は、ウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性、加工性により優れ、保存安定性、に優れるという観点から、原料として使用される有機ケイ素化合物100質量部に対して、0.01~10質量部であるのが好ましく、0.05~1質量部であるのがより好ましい。
シランカップリング剤はそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
本発明の組成物には、必要に応じて、その効果や目的を損なわない範囲でさらに添加剤を含有することができる。
上記添加剤としては、例えば、本発明の組成物に含有されるシランカップリング剤以外のシランカップリング剤、シリカ以外の充填剤(例えば、カーボンブラック)、酸化亜鉛、ステアリン酸、老化防止剤、加工助剤、アロマオイル、プロセスオイル、液状ポリマー、テルペン系樹脂、熱硬化性樹脂、加硫剤、加硫促進剤などのタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物に一般的に使用される各種添加剤が挙げられる。
テルペン系樹脂(特に芳香族変性テルペン樹脂)の軟化点は、ウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性、加工性により優れるという観点から、60~150℃であるのが好ましく、70~130℃であるのがより好ましい。
テルペン系樹脂の量は、ウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性に優れるという観点から、ジエン系ゴム成分100質量部に対して1~30質量部であるのが好ましく、3~20質量部であるのがより好ましい。
本発明の組成物の製造方法は特に限定されず、その具体例としては、例えば、上述した各成分を、公知の方法、装置(例えば、バンバリーミキサー、ニーダー、ロールなど)を用いて、混練する方法などが挙げられる。
また、本発明の組成物は、従来公知の加硫または架橋条件で加硫または架橋することができる。
本発明の空気入りタイヤは、上述した本発明のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物をタイヤトレッドに用いた空気入りタイヤである。
図1に、本発明の空気入りタイヤの実施態様の一例を表すタイヤの部分断面概略図を示すが、本発明の空気入りタイヤは図1に示す態様に限定されるものではない。
また、左右一対のビード部1間においては、繊維コードが埋設されたカーカス層4が装架されており、このカーカス層4の端部はビードコア5およびビードフィラー6の廻りにタイヤ内側から外側に折り返されて巻き上げられている。
また、タイヤトレッド3においては、カーカス層4の外側に、ベルト層7がタイヤ1周に亘って配置されている。
また、ビード部1においては、リムに接する部分にリムクッション8が配置されている。
窒素置換された内容量10Lのオートクレーブ反応器に、シクロヘキサン4533g、スチレン338.9g(3.254mol)、ブタジエン468.0g(8.652mol)、イソプレン20.0g(0.294mol)およびN,N,N′,N′-テトラメチルエチレンジアミン0.189mL(1.271mmol)を仕込み、攪拌を開始した。反応容器内の内容物の温度を50℃にした後、n-ブチルリチウム5.061mL(7.945mmol)を添加した。重合転化率がほぼ100%に到達した後、さらにイソプレン12.0gを添加して5分間反応させた後、1,6-ビス(トリクロロシリル)ヘキサンの40質量%トルエン溶液0.281g(0.318mmol)を添加し、30分間反応させた。さらに、下記式(9)で表されるポリオルガノシロキサンAの40質量%キシレン溶液(以下同様。)18.3g(0.318mmol)を添加し、30分間反応させた。メタノール0.5mLを添加して30分間攪拌した。得られたポリマー溶液に老化防止剤(イルガノックス1520、BASF社製)を少量添加し、伸展油としてフッコールエラミック30(新日本石油(株)製)を25部添加した後、スチームストリッピング法により固体状のゴムを回収した。得られた固体ゴムをロールにより脱水し、乾燥機中で乾燥を行い、変性共役ジエン系ゴムを得た。得られた変性共役ジエン系ゴムを変性共役ジエン系ゴム1とする。
変性共役ジエン系ゴム1は、末端変性基含有共役ジエン系共重合体であり、共役ジエン系ゴム部の芳香族ビニル単位含有量が42質量%であり、共役ジエン系ゴム部のビニル単位含有量が共役ジエン系ゴム部を構成する共役ジエン単位全量の32モル%であり、変性共役ジエン系ゴム1の重量平均分子量(Mw)が75万であり、Tgが-25℃、ゴム成分100重量部に対しオイル分25重量部を含む油展品である。変性共役ジエン系ゴム1は、溶液重合によって得られ、共役ジエン系ゴム部においてスチレン、ブタジエン、イソプレンの共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックとイソプレンブロックとを有し、共役ジエン系ゴム部の端部に共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックを有し、共役ジエン系ゴム部のもう一方の端が上記ポリオルガノシロキサンAで変性された、変性共役ジエン系ゴム(スチレンブタジエンゴム)である。
窒素置換された100mlアンプル瓶に、シクロヘキサン28gおよびテトラメチルエチレンジアミン8.6mmolを添加し、さらに、n-ブチルリチウム6.1mmolを添加した。次いで、イソプレン8.0gをゆっくりと添加し、60℃のアンプル瓶内で120分反応させることにより、イソプレンブロック(開始剤1とする)を得た。この開始剤1について、重量平均分子量、分子量分布、およびイソプレン単位由来のビニル結合含有量を測定した。開始剤1の重量平均分子量は2,200、分子量分布は1.08、イソプレン単位由来のビニル結合含有量は72.3質量%であった。
重量平均分子量、分子量分布およびカップリング率(変性共役ジエン系ゴム中における、1つの変性部と3つ以上の共役ジエン系ゴム部とを有する変性共役ジエン系ゴムの割合(質量%))については、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィにより、ポリスチレン換算の分子量に基づくチャートを得て、そのチャートに基づいて求めた。なお、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィの具体的な測定条件は、以下のとおりである。
・カラム:GMH-HR-H(東ソ一社製)2本を直列に連結した
・検出器:示差屈折計RI-8020(東ソ一社製)
・溶離夜:テトラヒドロフラン
・カラム温度:40℃
変性共役ジエン系ゴム1について、共役ジエン系ゴム部(変性共役ジエン系ゴムから末端変性基含有共役ジエン系共重合体から変性部を除く。イソプレンブロック及び共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックを有する。以下同様。)のスチレン単位含有量、共役ジエン系ゴム部のビニル結合含有量は赤外分光分析(ハンプトン法)により測定された。
共役ジエン系ゴム2について、イソプレンブロック以外の部分におけるスチレン単位含有量、イソプレンブロック以外の部分におけるビニル結合含有量、および、ムーニー粘度を測定した。測定方法は以下のとおりである。
スチレン単位含有量およびビニル結合含有量については、1H-NMRにより測定した。
撹拌機、還流冷却器、滴下ロート及び温度計を備えた2Lセパラブルフラスコにビス(トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド(信越化学工業製 KBE-846)107.8g(0.2mol)、γ―メルカプトプロピルトリエトキシシラン(信越化学工業製 KBE-803)190.8g(0.8mol)、オクチルトリエトキシシラン(信越化学工業製 KBE-3083)442.4g(1.6mol)、エタノール190.0gを納めた後、室温にて0.5N塩酸37.8g(2.1mol)とエタノール75.6gの混合溶液を滴下した。その後、80℃にて2時間攪拌した。その後、濾過、5%KOH/EtOH溶液17.0gを滴下し80℃で2時間攪拌した。その後、減圧濃縮、濾過することで褐色透明液体のポリシロキサン480.1gを得た。GPCにより測定した結果、平均分子量は840であり、平均重合度は4.0(設定重合度4.0)であった。また、酢酸/ヨウ化カリウム/ヨウ素酸カリウム添加-チオ硫酸ナトリウム溶液滴定法によりメルカプト当量を測定した結果、730g/molであり、設定通りのメルカプト基含有量であることが確認された。以上より、下記平均組成式で示される。

得られたポリシロキサンをポリシロキサン1とする。
撹拌機、還流冷却器、滴下ロート及び温度計を備えた2Lセパラブルフラスコにγ―メルカプトプロピルトリエトキシシラン(信越化学工業製 KBE-803)190.8g(0.8mol)、オクチルトリエトキシシラン(信越化学工業製 KBE-3083)442.4g(1.6mol)、エタノール162.0gを納めた後、室温にて0.5N塩酸32.4g(1.8mol)とエタノール75.6gの混合溶液を滴下した。その後、80℃にて2時間攪拌した。その後、濾過、5%KOH/EtOH溶液14.6gを滴下し80℃で2時間攪拌した。その後、減圧濃縮、濾過することで無色透明液体のポリシロキサン412.3gを得た。GPCにより測定した結果、平均分子量は850であり、平均重合度は4.0(設定重合度4.0)であった。また、酢酸/ヨウ化カリウム/ヨウ素酸カリウム添加-チオ硫酸ナトリウム溶液滴定法によりメルカプト当量を測定した結果、650g/molであり、設定通りのメルカプト基含有量であることが確認された。以上より、下記平均組成式で示される。

得られたポリシロキサンをポリシロキサン2とする。
撹拌機、還流冷却器、滴下ロート及び温度計を備えた2Lセパラブルフラスコにビス(トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド(信越化学工業製 KBE-846)107.8g(0.2mol)、γ―メルカプトプロピルトリエトキシシラン(信越化学工業製 KBE-803)190.8g(0.8mol)、オクチルトリエトキシシラン(信越化学工業製 KBE-3083)442.4g(1.6mol)、エタノール190.0gを納めた後、室温にて0.5N塩酸42.0g(2.33mol)とエタノール75.6gの混合溶液を滴下した。その後、80℃にて2時間攪拌した。その後、濾過、5%KOH/EtOH溶液18.9gを滴下し80℃で2時間攪拌した。その後、減圧濃縮、濾過することで褐色透明液体のポリシロキサン560.9gを得た。GPCにより測定した結果、平均分子量は1220であり、平均重合度は6.0(設定重合度6.0)であった。また、酢酸/ヨウ化カリウム/ヨウ素酸カリウム添加-チオ硫酸ナトリウム溶液滴定法によりメルカプト当量を測定した結果、710g/molであり、設定通りのメルカプト基含有量であることが確認された。以上より、下記平均組成式で示される。

得られたポリシロキサンをポリシロキサン3とする。
3-メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシラン(0.1mol)を水および濃塩酸水溶液で加水分解し、その後、エトキシメチルポリシロキサン(100g)を添加し、縮合することでポリシロキサンを得た。得られたポリシロキサンを比較ポリシロキサン1とする。
上記比較ポリシロキサン1は、3-メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシランのメトキシ基とエトキシメチルポリシロキサンのエトキシ基とが縮合した構造を有する。すなわち、上記比較ポリシロキサン1が有する1価の炭化水素基はメチル基のみである。また、上記比較ポリシロキサン1はスルフィド基を含有する2価の有機基を有さない。
ビス(3-(トリエトキシシリル)プロピル)テトラスルフィド(0.1mol)を水および濃塩酸水溶液で加水分解し、その後、エトキシメチルポリシロキサン(100g)を添加し、縮合することでポリシロキサンを得た。得られたポリシロキサンを比較ポリシロキサン2とする。
上記比較ポリシロキサン2は、ビス(3-(トリエトキシシリル)プロピル)テトラスルフィドのエトキシ基とエトキシメチルポリシロキサンのエトキシ基とが縮合した構造を有する。すなわち、上記比較ポリシロキサン2が有する1価の炭化水素基はメチル基のみである。また、上記比較ポリシロキサン2はメルカプト基を含有する有機基を有さない。
下記表に示す成分を同表に示す割合(質量部)で配合した。
具体的には、まず、下記表に示す成分のうち硫黄および加硫促進剤を除く成分を、1.7リットルの密閉式バンバリーミキサーを用いて10分間混合してから放出し、室温まで冷却してマスターバッチを得た。さらに、上記バンバリーミキサーを用いて、得られたマスターバッチに硫黄および加硫促進剤を混合し、タイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物を得た。
なお、第1表、第2表において、比較共役ジエン系ゴム1~比較共役ジエン系ゴム2の量について、初めの数値は油展品の量であり、かっこ内の数値はゴムの正味の量である。また、比較シランカップリング剤1~シランカップリング剤2の量について、初めの数値は各シランカップリング剤の量であり、かっこ内の数値はシリカに対する各シランカップリング剤の質量%である。
第3表において、各ゴムの量は正味のゴムの量である。
<tanδ(0℃)>(ウェット性能の指標)
上記のとおり製造したタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物(未加硫)を金型(15cm×15cm×0.2cm)中で、160℃で20分間プレス加硫して加硫ゴムシートを作製した。
作製した加硫ゴムシートについて、JIS K6394:2007に準じて、粘弾性スペクトロメーター(岩本製作所社製)を用いて、伸張変形歪率10%±2%、振動数20Hz、温度0℃の条件で、tanδ(0℃)を測定した。
結果は各表において標準例1~3のtanδ(0℃)を100とする指数で表した。指数が大きいほどtanδ(0℃)が大きく、タイヤにしたときにウェット性能に優れる。
上記のとおり製造したタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物(未加硫)を金型(15cm×15cm×0.2cm)中で、160℃で20分間プレス加硫して加硫ゴムシートを作製した。
作製した加硫ゴムシートについて、JIS K6394:2007に準じて、粘弾性スペクトロメーター(岩本製作所社製)を用いて、伸張変形歪率10%±2%、振動数20Hz、温度60℃の条件で、tanδ(60℃)を測定した。
結果は各表において標準例1~3のtanδ(60℃)を100とする指数で表した。指数が小さいほどtanδ(60℃)が小さく、タイヤにしたときに低転がり抵抗性に優れる。
上記のとおり製造したタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物(未加硫)について、JIS K6300-1:2001に準じて、L形ロータを使用し、予熱時間1分、ロータの回転時間4分、試験温度100℃の条件で、ムーニー粘度を測定した。
結果は各表において標準例1~3の値を100とする指数で表した。
上記のとおり製造したタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物(未加硫)について、JIS K6300-1:2001に準じて、L形ロータを使用し、試験温度125℃の条件で、スコーチタイムを測定した。
結果は各表において標準例1~3のスコーチタイムを100とする指数で表した。指数が大きいほどスコーチタイムが長く、耐スコーチ性(加工性)が優れることを示す。
・比較共役ジエン系ゴム1:E581(旭化成社製)、油展品(SBR100質量部に対して油展オイル37.5質量部を含む。SBR中のSBRの正味は72.7質量%。)、スチレン含有量:37質量%、ビニル結合量:43%、重量平均分子量:1,200,000。末端にヒドロキシ基を有するスチレンブタジエンゴム。イソプレンブロックを有さない。変性部にポリオルガノシロキサンを有さない。
・変性共役ジエン系ゴム1:上述のとおり製造された変性共役ジエン系ゴム1
・比較共役ジエン系ゴム2:SLR6430(Dow Chemical社製)、油展品(SBR100質量部に対して油展オイル37.5質量部を含む。SBR中のSBRの正味は72.7質量%。)、スチレン含有量:41質量%、ビニル結合量:25%、重量平均分子量:1,010,000。変性されていないスチレンブタジエンゴム。イソプレンブロックを有さない。
・変性共役ジエン系ゴム2:上述のとおり製造された変性共役ジエン系ゴム2
・BR:ブタジエンゴム、Nipol1220(日本ゼオン社製)
・シリカ1:Zeosil 1165MP(CTAB吸着比表面積=165m2/g、ローディア社製)
・シリカ2:Zeosil 1115MP(CTAB吸着比表面積=110m2/g、ローディア社製)
・カーボンブラック:ショウブラックN339(CTAB吸着比表面積=90m2/g、キャボットジャパン社製)
・比較シランカップリング剤1:VP Si363(エボニックデグッサ社製)(下記式(11)で表される化合物。ここで、R111:-OC2H5、R112:-O(C2H4O)5-C13H27、R114:-(CH2)3-、l=1、m=2、n=0。)
・シランカップリング剤2:上述のとおり合成されたポリシロキサン2
・比較シランカップリング剤2:上述のとおり合成された比較ポリシロキサン1
・比較シランカップリング剤3:上述のとおり合成された比較ポリシロキサン2
・テルペン系樹脂1:YSレジンTO125(ヤスハラケミカル株式会社製)、芳香族変性テルペン樹脂、軟化点:125℃
・ステアリン酸:ステアリン酸YR(NOFコーポレーション社製)
・亜鉛華:酸化亜鉛3種(正同化学工業社製)
・老化防止剤:Santoflex6PPD(Solutia Europe社製)
・プロセスオイル:エキストラクト4号S(昭和シェル石油社製)
・加硫促進剤1:N-シクロヘキシル-2-ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド、ノクセラーCZ-G(大内新興化学工業社製)
・加硫促進剤2:Perkacit DPG(Flexsys社製)
・硫黄:油処理イオウ(軽井沢精錬所社製)
標準例1と比較して、イソプレンブロックを有さない、未変性の共役ジエン系ゴムを含み、式(1)の平均組成式で表されるポリシロキサン以外のシランカップリング剤を含有する比較例3は、低転がり抵抗性、加工性が劣った。比較例3と同じ共役ジエン系ゴムを含み、シランカップリング剤を式(1)の平均組成式で表されるポリシロキサンに代えた比較例4は、比較例3と比較して、ムーニー粘度が低くムーニースコーチが高くなって加工性に優れるものの、標準例1より低転がり抵抗性が劣った。
式(1)の平均組成式で表されるシランカップリング剤の含有量がシリカの含有量の1質量%未満である比較例5は、標準例1よりウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性が劣っており、ムーニー粘度が高く加工性に劣った。
式(1)の平均組成式で表されるシランカップリング剤の含有量がシリカの含有量の20質量%を超える比較例6は、標準例1よりムーニースコーチが低く加工性に劣った。
ジエン系ゴム成分100質量部に対するシリカの量が60質量部未満である比較例7は、標準例1よりウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性が劣った。
ジエン系ゴム成分中の変性共役ジエン系ゴムの量が20質量%未満である比較例8は、標準例1より低転がり抵抗性が劣った。
また、式(1)の平均組成式で表されるシランカップリング剤を含有せずに特定ポリシロキサン以外のポリシロキサンを含有する比較例9および10は、標準例1よりウェット性能が劣った。
また、変性共役ジエン系ゴムを使用し、シランカップリング剤を比較シランカップリング剤1から式(1)の平均組成式で表されるポリシロキサンに代えたことによる、各評価結果の効果の差(標準例1と実施例1との差)は、変性共役ジエン系ゴム以外の共役ジエン系ゴムを使用し、シランカップリング剤を比較シランカップリング剤1から式(1)の平均組成式で表されるポリシロキサンに代えたことによる、各評価結果の効果の差(比較例1と比較例2との差、又は、比較例3と比較例4との差)より格段に大きい。詳細にはムーニー粘度やムーニースコーチに対する効果が大きく、ウェット性能や低転がり抵抗性のタイヤ性能も向上する。
このことから、変性共役ジエン系ゴムと式(1)の平均組成式で表されるポリシロキサンとの組合わせがウェット性能、低転がり抵抗性、加工性の向上に特に効果的であるということができる。
また実施例1と実施例4とを比較すると、実施例4は実施例1より加工性(未加硫特性)がさらに優れるということができる。

Claims (14)
- 変性共役ジエン系ゴムを20質量%以上含むジエン系ゴム成分と、シリカと、シランカップリング剤とを含有し、
前記変性共役ジエン系ゴムが、少なくとも1つの変性部と、少なくとも1つの共役ジエン系ゴム部とを有し、
前記共役ジエン系ゴム部は、その1つ当たりに、共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックとイソプレン単位を70質量%以上100質量%以下含有するイソプレンブロックとを有し、
前記変性部が前記共役ジエン系ゴム部の端部に結合し、
前記変性部が、前記シリカと相互作用する官能基を有し、
前記シランカップリング剤が、下記式(1)で表されるポリシロキサンであり、
前記シリカの含有量が、前記ジエン系ゴム成分100質量部に対して、60~200質量部であり、
前記シランカップリング剤の含有量が、前記シリカの含有量の1.0~20質量%である、タイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。

[式(1)は平均組成式であり、式(1)中、Aはスルフィド基を含有する2価の有機基を表し、Bは炭素数5~10の1価の炭化水素基を表し、Cは加水分解性基を表し、Dはメルカプト基を含有する有機基を表し、R1は炭素数1~4の1価の炭化水素基を表し、a~eは、0≦a<1、0≦b<1、0<c<3、0<d<1、0≦e<2、0<2a+b+c+d+e<4の関係式を満たす。ただしa、bのいずれか一方は0ではない。] - 前記式(1)中、aが0よりも大きい、請求項1に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 前記式(1)中、bが0よりも大きい、請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 前記変性部の骨格が、ポリオルガノシロキサンである、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 前記式(1)で表されるポリシロキサンの重量平均分子量が、500~2,300である請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- さらにテルペン系樹脂を含有し、前記テルペン系樹脂の量が前記ジエン系ゴム成分100質量部に対して1~30質量部であり、前記テルペン系樹脂は軟化点が60~150℃の芳香族変性テルペン樹脂である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 前記イソプレンブロックにおける前記イソプレン単位由来のビニル結合含有量が5~85質量%である、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 前記共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックが、共役ジエン系単量体(d1)と芳香族ビニル単量体とを用いて得られ、
前記芳香族ビニル単量体に由来する芳香族ビニル単位含有量が、前記共役ジエン系ゴム部の38~48質量%であり、
前記共役ジエン系ゴム部のビニル結合含有量が、前記共役ジエン系ゴム部を構成する共役ジエン単位の20~35モル%である、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。 - 前記変性共役ジエン系ゴムの重量平均分子量が1,000~300万である、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 前記共役ジエン系ゴム部が、前記端部とは別の端部に共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックを有し、
前記変性共役ジエン系ゴムが、前記共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックと前記変性部との間に前記イソプレンブロックを有する、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。 - 前記変性共役ジエン系ゴムの重量平均分子量が60万~100万である、請求項10に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 前記共役ジエン系ゴム部が、前記端部とは別の端部に前記イソプレンブロックを有し、
前記変性共役ジエン系ゴムが、前記イソプレンブロックと前記変性部との間に前記共役ジエン系共重合体ブロックを有する、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。 - 前記官能基が、エポキシ基及び/又はヒドロカルビルオキシシリル基である、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物をタイヤトレッドに用いた空気入りタイヤ。
