Abstract
Description
本発明の難燃性熱収縮チューブは、本発明の難燃性樹脂組成物より形成されるので、難燃性に優れた熱収縮チューブである。従って、電線やケーブル等の接続部等の絶縁、防水保護等に好適に用いることができる。更に本発明の難燃性熱収縮チューブの表面にインクで文字もしくは図柄を印字する印字処理を施したチュ-ブは、印字が鮮明で、擦っても消えることがなく、配線識別用のマーキングチューブ等に好適に用いることができる。
下記の使用材料を、表1に示す配合(質量比)で、オープンロールにて180℃で混練した後、ペレタイザによってペレット状にした。その後、50mmφ押出機にて、内径3mmφ、外径4mmφ(肉厚0.5mm)のチューブ形状に押出した。得られたチューブに100kGyの電子線を照射した後、チューブ内に加圧して150℃で外径6mmφになるまで径方向に膨張させた。
・エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体(表中では、「EVA」と表す):エバフレックスEV560(三井デュポンポリケミカル社製)
・低密度ポリエチレン:スミカセンC215(住友化学社製)
・水酸化マグネシウム:キスマ5L(協和化学社製)
・水酸化アルミニウム:ハイジライトH42STM(昭和電工社製)
・酸化防止剤:イルガノックス1010(BASFジャパン社製)
・滑剤:ステアリン酸
・末端ビニル変性シリコーン:TEGOMER V-Si4042(EVONIK社製)・ジメチルシリコーン:KF96-1000cs(信越化学社製)
・脂肪酸エステル:S-100A(理研ビタミン社製)
120mmのチューブを切り取り、引張速度500mm/分で引張強度(破断時の強度)と引張伸び(破断時の伸び)を測定した。合否の基準としては、引張強度が10.3MPa以上、引張伸びが150%以上のものを合格と判定した。
酸素指数とは、材料の燃焼持続に必要な最低酸素濃度(容積%、材料の燃焼を維持しうる酸素と窒素の混合物における酸素の最低濃度)を示し、JIS K 7201に規格化されており、材料の燃えやすさの指標となる。実施例、比較例では、JIS K 7201(酸素指数法による高分子材料の燃焼試験方法)に準じて測定した。高難燃材料としては一般的には酸素指数30以上が望まれており、特に鉄道車両用客室用材料規格BS6853では、酸素指数34以上の規格が設けられている。
(難燃性-UL規格)
米国Underwriter’s Laboratories社の規格化しているプラスチック材料を対象とした難燃性試験を、参考データとして行った。5回着火し60秒以内に消火した場合を合格、60秒以内に消火しなかった場合を不合格として、その結果を表1、2に示した。
得られたチューブの表面に、インクリボンTTR-100-300-BK-2020(英国Siegrist Orel社販売)を用いて印字した。印字した文字や図柄が正確に複写されたものと目視で容易に確認でき、更に印字部に消しゴムの平らな部分で人間の手で強く押し付け、20回擦りつけた後、印字のそれぞれの文字が鮮明であり、かつ印字した文字や図柄が正確に複写されたものと目視で容易に確認できたものを合格とした。また、印字した文字や図柄が正確に複写されたものと目視で容易に確認できたが、消しゴムで20回擦りつけた後は、印字のそれぞれの文字が消えてはいないが不鮮明となり、印字した文字や図柄が正確に複写されたものと目視で容易に確認できなくなったものは準合格とした。上記以外は不合格とした。
レーザー式外径測定器にて外径変動幅を測定し、外径変動幅が設計値±10%以内の場合を合格とした。
Claims (11)
- 熱可塑性樹脂、金属水酸化物、及び炭素-炭素二重結合を有する官能基をその末端に有する変性シリコーンを含有してなる樹脂組成物であって、前記金属水酸化物の含有量が、前記熱可塑性樹脂100質量部に対し85~190質量部であり、かつ前記変性シリコーンの含有量が、前記金属水酸化物に対して0.05~5質量%であることを特徴とする難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂がポリオレフィンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂が、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体とポリエチレンを30:70~100:0の範囲で混和したものであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂が、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記金属水酸化物が、水酸化マグネシウム又は水酸化アルミニウムであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記金属水酸化物の含有量が、熱可塑性樹脂100質量部に対し100~180質量部であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記金属水酸化物の含有量が、熱可塑性樹脂100質量部に対し100~140質量部であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物のチューブ状成型品を、径方向に膨張して得られることを特徴とする難燃性熱収縮チューブ。
- チューブ表面に印字処理が施されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の難燃性熱収縮チューブ。
- 請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の難燃性樹脂組成物から形成された絶縁被覆を有することを特徴とする難燃性絶縁電線。
- 電線表面に印字処理が施されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の難燃性絶縁電線。
