Definitions
- the present invention relates to a vehicle end structure provided with bumper reinforcement.
- a structure is known in which an attachment portion of a tow hook is disposed at a joint portion between a bumper reinforcement and a front side member (see, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-292175). With this structure, it is difficult to secure the number of coupling points between the front side member and the bumper reinforcement within the closed cross section of the front side member.
- a structure that reinforces the attachment portion of the traction hook to the bumper reinforcement is known (see, for example, JP-A-2008-7044).
- bumper reinforcement having a “B” -shaped cross-sectional shape in which a concave portion is formed between upper and lower closed cross-sectional portions is known (for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 11-245741 and 2000-198401, JP, 2009-248602, A).
- An object of the present invention is to obtain a vehicle end structure capable of ensuring the coupling rigidity of the coupling portion in a configuration in which a hook mounting portion is provided at the coupling portion between the bumper reinforcement and the skeleton member.
- the vehicle end structure according to the first aspect of the present invention is separated in the vehicle vertical direction by joining the inner member to the center side in the vehicle longitudinal direction with respect to the outer member elongated in the vehicle width direction.
- a bumper reinforcement in which a recess opening toward the center side is formed between a pair of closed cross-section portions, and a longitudinal direction in the vehicle longitudinal direction, at one end side in the longitudinal direction of the bumper reinforcement and in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
- the skeleton member disposed on the inner member side and the bumper reinforcement is closed at each of the portions constituting the pair of closed section portions of the inner member when viewed from the vehicle front-rear direction.
- the bumper reinforcement is formed with a closed cross-sectional portion, a concave portion, and a closed cross-sectional portion in order from the top in a cross-sectional view orthogonal to the longitudinal direction.
- This bumper reinforcement is joined to the skeletal member at one location in the closed cross section of the skeleton member because the bumper reinforcement is joined to the closed cross section of the skeleton member in the closed cross section of the upper and lower sides by the joining means as viewed in the front-rear direction.
- the coupling rigidity to the skeleton member is high.
- the hook mounting member fixed to the skeleton member can be accessed from the front of the bumper reinforcement through the through hole and the concave portion, the upper and lower joining means and the hook mounting member are arranged offset in the vertical direction. For this reason, it can be set as the structure which arrange
- the joint rigidity of the joint portion can be ensured.
- the bumper reinforcement is configured such that a portion of the inner member and the outer member that forms the bottom of the recess is positioned at an outer end portion in the vehicle front-rear direction, and is attached to the hook attachment portion.
- the hook member comes into contact with a hole edge of the through hole in the inner member and the outer member so that a part of the load is supported. It is good also as a structure by which the dimension shape of the said through-hole is set.
- the hook member when a load in the vertical direction or the vehicle width direction acts on the hook member attached to the hook attachment portion, the hook member is displaced in the load direction and the hole edge of the through hole in the inner member and the outer member Is supported by contact.
- the portion of the inner member and the outer member forming the bottom of the recess, that is, the through hole forming portion is located on the outermost side of the bumper reinforcement cross section, so that the hook member is supported from the hook mounting portion to the hole edge of the through hole.
- the span length is long. For this reason, the displacement of the hook member in the load direction is suppressed.
- the hole edge of the through hole is a plate joining portion of the inner member and the outer member and has high rigidity (reinforced), deformation of the bumper reinforcement due to the load from the hook member is suppressed. This also contributes to suppression of displacement of the hook member in the load direction.
- the joining means and the hook mounting member are arranged offset in the vehicle width direction, and the inner member has a portion where the concave portion is located at a position where the hook member is installed than other portions. It is good also as a structure which is formed large up and down and a part of the front-back direction of the said hook member has entered into the said recessed part.
- the installation space of the hook attachment member which one part enters in a recessed part is ensured, ensuring the bending rigidity of bumper reinforcement.
- the pair of upper and lower joining means are arranged offset in the vehicle width direction with respect to the hook attachment member, there are few restrictions on the arrangement in the vertical direction due to the attachment of the hook attachment member. That is, it contributes effectively to arranging the upper and lower joining means within the closed cross section of the skeleton member without relying on increasing the closed cross section of the skeleton member vertically.
- the bumper reinforcement is formed so as to be larger in the vertical direction than the other part in the part where the concave part is formed large in the vertical direction, and the pair of upper and lower joining means is formed in the large part. It is good also as a structure arranged.
- the pair of joining means is disposed in a portion having a large vertical dimension in the cross section including the pair of closed cross-section portions and the concave portion. For this reason, the space
- the vehicle end structure according to the present invention is excellent in that the coupling rigidity of the coupling portion can be ensured in the configuration in which the hook attachment portion is provided in the coupling portion between the bumper reinforcement and the skeleton member. Has an effect.
