ブロックポリイソシアネートを合成するための原料イソシアネートとして、以下の化合物を準備した。
デュラネートTHA-100:ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートのイソシアヌレートタイプ、NCO官能基数3、旭化成ケミカルズ製、商品名、含有量100%。
デュラネート24A-100:ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートのビウレットタイプ、NCO官能基数3、旭化成ケミカルズ製、商品名、含有量100%。
ブロックポリイソシアネートの水分散液を調製するための有機溶剤として、以下の溶剤を準備した。
疎水性有機溶剤:ブチルグリコールアセテート(密度0.94g/cm3、溶解度1.1g/100ml(20℃))、ジブチルジグリコール(ジエチレングリコールジブチルエーテル)(密度0.884g/cm3、溶解度0.3g/100ml(20℃))。
親水性有機溶剤:トリプロピレングリコール(密度1.02g/cm3、水に任意に溶解(20℃))、メチルエチルケトン(密度0.805g/cm3、溶解度29g/100ml(20℃))。
(合成例1:ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート)
反応容器に、デュラネートTHA-100を252質量部、及びメチルイソブチルケトンを5質量部添加し、60~70℃まで加熱した。次いで、3,5-ジメチルピラゾール144質量部をゆっくりと仕込み、60~70℃で赤外分光光度計にて確認されるイソシアネート含量がゼロになるまで反応させることにより、ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート化合物を98.8質量%含む無色透明粘稠液状組成物を得た。
反応容器に、デュラネート24A-100を239質量部、及びメチルイソブチルケトンを5質量部添加し、60~70℃まで加熱した。次いで、3,5-ジメチルピラゾール144質量部をゆっくりと仕込み、60~70℃で赤外分光光度計にて確認されるイソシアネート含量がゼロになるまで反応させることにより、ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート化合物を98.7質量%含む無色透明粘稠液状組成物を得た。
反応容器に、デュラネートTHA-100を252質量部、及びメチルイソブチルケトンを5質量部添加し、60~70℃まで加熱した。次いで、メチルエチルケトオキシム43.5質量部を滴下し、さらに3,5-ジメチルピラゾール96質量部を滴下し、60~70℃で赤外分光光度計にて確認されるイソシアネート含量がゼロになるまで反応させることにより、ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート化合物を98.7質量%含む無色透明粘稠液状組成物を得た。
反応容器に、デュラネートTHA-100を252質量部、及びメチルイソブチルケトンを5質量部添加し、60~70℃まで加熱した。次いで、3,5-ジメチルピラゾール109.6質量部を滴下し、1時間撹拌した。さらに、エチレングリコール11.1質量部を滴下し、60~70℃で赤外分光光度計にて確認されるイソシアネート含量がゼロになるまで反応させることにより、ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート化合物を98.7質量%含む無色透明粘稠液状組成物を得た。
反応容器に、デュラネートTHA-100を252質量部、及びメチルイソブチルケトンを5質量部添加し、60~70℃まで加熱した。次いで、3,5-ジメチルピラゾール127.2質量部を滴下し、1時間撹拌した。さらに、ジメチロールプロピオン酸11.7質量部を滴下し、60~70℃で赤外分光光度計にて確認されるイソシアネート含量がゼロになるまで反応させた。その後、2-(ジメチルアミノ)-2-メチル-1-プロパノール10.2質量部にて中和することにより、ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート化合物を98.8質量%含む無色透明粘稠液状組成物を得た。
反応容器に、デュラネートTHA-100を252質量部、及びメチルイソブチルケトンを5質量部添加し、60~70℃まで加熱した。次いで、メチルエチルケトオキシム130.5質量部をゆっくりと仕込み、60~70℃で赤外分光光度計にて確認されるイソシアネート含量がゼロになるまで反応させることにより、メチルエチルケトオキシムブロックポリイソシアネート化合物を98.7質量%含む無色透明粘稠液状組成物を得た。
反応容器に、デュラネートTHA-100を252質量部、及びメチルイソブチルケトンを5質量部添加し、60~70℃まで加熱した。次いで、ポリエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル(エチレンオキサイド付加モル数平均12)50質量部をゆっくりと仕込み、1時間反応させた。次いで、3,5-ジメチルピラゾール135.5質量部をゆっくりと仕込み、60~70℃で赤外分光光度計にて確認されるイソシアネート含量がゼロになるまで反応することにより、ピラゾールブロック親水性ポリイソシアネート化合物を98.9質量%含む無色透明粘稠液状組成物を得た。
(合成例6:ステアリルアルコール5モルエチレンオキサイド付加物(HLB=9.0)、以下「St5E」と略す)
ステアリルアルコール270質量部(1モル)と苛性ソーダ3.0質量部をオートクレーブに仕込み、加熱昇温して約130℃にした後、エチレンオキサイド220質量部(5モル)を加えて、温度155~165℃、圧力0.39MPa以下にて反応させた。アルキレンオキサイド付加反応終了後冷却し、氷酢酸にてpH7に中和して淡黄色固体の非イオン界面活性剤を得た。
エチレンオキサイドの付加モル数を10モルにした以外は、合成例6と同様に合成を行い、淡黄色固体の非イオン界面活性剤を得た。
エチレンオキサイドの付加モル数を28モルにした以外は、合成例6と同様に合成を行い、淡黄色固体の非イオン界面活性剤を得た。
フェノール47質量部(0.5モル)と硫酸0.1質量部を反応容器に仕込み、撹拌後、フェノール47質量部(0.5モル)を更に仕込み、窒素ガス気流下にて加熱昇温して約80℃とした。更に加熱昇温して105~135℃でスチレンモノマー312質量部(3モル)を滴下し、125~135℃で約3時間付加反応させ、その後冷却して褐色透明粘液状のトリスチレン化フェノールを得た。
(合成例10:炭素数が6以下のペルフルオロアルキル基を有する撥水撥油性成分(フルオロアクリレート、ステアリルアクリレート、N-メチロールアクリルアミド及び塩化ビニルの共重合体))
フラスコに、CH2=CHCOOCH2CH2CnF2n+1(n=4,6、nの平均約6)100質量部、ステアリルアクリレート15質量部、N-メチロールアクリルアミド3質量部、純水248.5質量部、3-メチル-3-メトキシブタノール50質量部、ポリオキシエチレン(10モル)ラウリルエーテル18質量部及びステアリルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライド4質量部を仕込み、45℃にて撹拌混合し、超音波を伝達して乳化分散させた。得られた乳化物をオートクレーブに仕込み、2,2-アゾビス(2-メチルプロピオンアミジン)二塩酸塩1.5質量部を添加して密閉したのち、塩化ビニル20質量部を圧入し、60℃にて6時間反応させ、共重合体の濃度が30質量%であるフッ素系撥水撥油性成分の水溶液(以下「C6F水溶液」と略す)を得た。
フラスコに、CH2=CHCOOCH2CH2CnF2n+1(n=6,8、nの平均約8)100質量部、ステアリルアクリレート15質量部、N-メチロールアクリルアミド3質量部、純水248.5質量部、3-メチル-3-メトキシブタノール50質量部、ポリオキシエチレン(10モル)ラウリルエーテル18質量部及びステアリルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライド4質量部を仕込み、45℃にて撹拌混合し、超音波を伝達して乳化分散させた。得られた乳化物をオートクレーブに仕込み、2,2-アゾビス(2-メチルプロピオンアミジン)二塩酸塩1.5質量部を添加して密閉したのち、塩化ビニル20質量部を圧入し、60℃にて6時間反応させ、共重合体の濃度が30質量%であるフッ素系撥水撥油性成分の水溶液(以下「C8F水溶液」と略す)を得た。
(調製例1)
ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネートとして合成例1で得られた組成物を180質量部、有機溶剤としてブチルグリコールアセテートを140質量部、非イオン界面活性剤として合成例8で得られたSt28Eを20質量部混合し、均一化した。撹拌しながら徐々に水を仕込んだ後、30MPaにてホモジナイザー処理を行い、不揮発分20質量%のピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液を得た。この水分散液中の粒子の平均粒径は0.35μmであった。
非イオン界面活性剤を合成例8で得られたSt28Eから合成例9で得られたT30Eに変更した以外は調製例1と同じ操作を行ない、不揮発分20質量%のピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液を得た。この水分散液中の粒子の平均粒径は0.33μmであった。
有機溶剤をブチルグリコールアセテートからジブチルジグリコールに変更した以外は調製例1と同じ操作を行い、不揮発分20質量%のピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液を得た。この水分散液中の粒子の平均粒径は0.34μmであった。
非イオン界面活性剤を合成例8で得られたSt28Eから合成例9で得られたT30Eに変更し、有機溶剤をブチルグリコールアセテートからジブチルジグリコールに変更した以外は調製例1と同じ操作を行い、不揮発分20質量%のピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液を得た。この水分散液中の粒子の平均粒径は0.33μmであった。
非イオン界面活性剤を合成例8で得られたSt28Eから合成例7で得られたSt10Eに変更し、有機溶剤をブチルグリコールアセテートからジブチルジグリコールに変更した以外は調製例1と同じ操作を行ない、不揮発分20質量%のピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液を得た。この水分散液中の粒子の平均粒径は1.07μmであった。
非イオン界面活性剤としてSt10Eを15質量部、カチオン界面活性剤としてアーカードT-28(ライオン(株)製、有効成分28%、ステアリルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライド)を18質量部使用し、有機溶剤をブチルグリコールアセテートからジブチルジグリコールに変更した以外は調製例1と同じ操作を行い、不揮発分20質量%のピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液を得た。この水分散液中の粒子の平均粒径は1.02μmであった。
ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネートを合成例1で得られた組成物から合成例2で得られた組成物に変更し、非イオン界面活性剤を合成例8で得られたSt28Eから合成例9で得られたT30Eに変更し、有機溶剤をブチルグリコールアセテートからジブチルジグリコールに変更した以外は調製例1と同じ操作を行い、不揮発分20質量%のピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液を得た。この水分散液中の粒子の平均粒径は0.32μmであった。

ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネートを合成例1で得られた組成物から比較合成例1で得られた組成物に変更し、非イオン界面活性剤を合成例8で得られたSt28Eから合成例9で得られたT30Eに変更し、有機溶剤をブチルグリコールアセテート140質量部からメチルエチルケトン20質量部に変更した以外は調製例1と同じ操作を行い、不揮発分20質量%のメチルエチルケトオキシムブロックポリイソシアネート水分散液を得た。この水分散液中の粒子の平均粒径は0.31μmであった。
比較合成例2で得られたピラゾールブロック親水性ポリイソシアネート組成物(180質量部)に、撹拌しながら徐々に水を仕込んだ後、30MPaにてホモジナイザー処理を行い、不揮発分18質量%のピラゾールブロック親水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液を得た。この水分散液中の粒子の平均粒径は0.29μmであった。
(実施例1)
撥水撥油成分として合成例10で得られたC6F水溶液60質量部、及び、ブロックイソシアネート成分として調製例1で得られた水分散液11質量部を混合し、この混合物をイオン交換水で固形分濃度が20質量%となるように希釈し撥水撥油剤組成物を得た。なお、ブロックイソシアネート成分として調製例1で得られた水分散液は、調製直後のものを使用した。

供試布 :ポリエステル100%タフタ(目付け110g/cm2)(未染色布)
処理条件:染色→RC→水洗(5分×2回)→脱水→風乾

処理条件 :フィックス→水洗(1回)→脱水→風乾
温度時間 :90℃×20分(昇温2℃/分)

処理条件:パッド→ドライ→キュア
パッド:浴組成(撥水撥油剤組成物(不揮発分20%)5%soln.、ユニカレジン380K(ユニオン化学(株)製)0.3%soln.、ユニカカタリスト3-P(ユニオン化学(株)製)0.1%soln.)、1ディップ-1ニップ(処理浴に1回浸漬(ディップ)し、1回絞る(ニップ)、ピックアップ60%
ドライ:120℃×1分
キュア:180℃×30秒
処理条件:パッド→ドライ→キュア
バッド:浴組成(撥水撥油剤組成物(不揮発分20%)5%soln.、ユニカレジン380K(ユニオン化学(株)製)0.3%soln.、ユニカカタリスト3-P(ユニオン化学(株)製)0.1%soln.)、1ディップ-1ニップ(処理浴に1回浸漬(ディップ)し、1回絞る(ニップ)、ピックアップ85%
ドライ:120℃×1分
キュア:170℃×30秒
実施例1における撥水撥油剤成分及びブロックポリイシシアネート成分を表1~5に示されるものに変更した以外は実施例1と同様に操作して、実施例2~14および比較例1~4の撥水撥油性を有する機能性繊維製品をそれぞれ得た。
実施例及び比較例で得られた機能性繊維製品について、以下の撥水撥油試験および洗濯耐久性試験を行った。得られた結果を表1~5に示す。
得られた加工布について、JIS L 1092:2009の7.2はっ水度試験(スプレー試験)に準拠して評価を行った。評価は下記の基準に従って行い、性能がわずかに良好な場合は等級に「+」をつけ、性能がわずかに劣る場合には等級に「-」をつけた。なお、「++」は、「+」よりさらにわずかに良好な場合を意味する。
5:表面に水滴の付着や湿潤のないもの。
4:表面にわずかに水滴の付着又は湿潤を示すもの。
3:表面に部分的湿潤を示すもの。
2:表面の約半分に湿潤を示すもの。
1:表面全体に湿潤を示すもの。
得られた加工布について、AATCC TM118-2002に準拠して試験を行った。すなわち、表6に示された試験溶液を試料布の上の2カ所に直径が約4mmになるように数滴置き、30秒後に2カ所ともに浸透しない試験液の最高の等級を、撥油性とした。
得られた加工布について、JIS L 0217(1995)付表1の103法に準拠して洗濯を行い、得られた洗濯布について、上記の撥水性及び撥油性の試験を行った。なお、L0は、洗濯前の結果を示し、L10、20、30はそれぞれ、洗濯10回後、20回後、30回後の結果を示す。
合成例及び比較合成例で得られたブロックイソシアネートの18質量%水分散液200mlをT.K.HOMODISPER(プライミクス(株)製)にて、室温で2000rpm×10分間処理した。処理直後の水分散液の状態と、その水分散液をマヨネーズ瓶225(日本耐酸壜工業(株))に入れ密封し45℃で静置したときの状態について、以下の評価基準にしたがって評価した。
A:2000rpm×10分間処理で均一の水分散液が得られない、または、均一の水分散液が得られても45℃で12時間未満で分離する。
B:2000rpm×10分間処理で均一の水分散液が得られ、45℃で12時間以上分離しない。
調製例及び比較調整例で得られたブロックイソシアネート水分散液の安定性について、水分散液を45℃で静置したときに沈降が認められた週数又は日数により評価した。
実施例及び比較例で得られた撥水撥油剤組成物の保存安定性について、撥水撥油剤組成物を45℃で静置したときに沈降が認められた週数又は日数により評価した。
ナイロン用フィックス剤が撥水撥油剤組成物処理浴に混合された(持ち込まれた)場合の処理浴の安定性について、以下の方法にしたがって評価した。
下記組成の試験浴300mlにて曝気試験を行い、これを黒綿布で濾過したときの黒綿布上の残渣を目視判定した。
(試験浴組成)
撥水撥油成分の水溶液 5.0%soln.
ブロックイソシアネート成分 0.8%soln.
サンライフE-37(日華化学(株)製、ナイロン用フィックス剤) 240ppm
(曝気条件)
室温×10分間、空気流量2L/分、木下式ボールフィルター使用
(評価基準)
A:黒綿布上に残渣無し。
B:黒綿布上に残渣が少しある。
C:黒綿布上に残渣多量あり。
Claims (7)
- 下記一般式(I)で表されるピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネートと非イオン界面活性剤とを含有するピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液、及び、炭素数が6以下のペルフルオロアルキル基を有する撥水撥油性成分、を含む、撥水撥油剤組成物。
R(-NH-CO-Z)m ・・・(I)
[式(I)中、mは2以上の整数を示し、Rはm個のイソシアネート基を有するポリイソシアネート化合物からm個のイソシアネート基を除いた残基を示し、Zは同一でも異なっていてもよく、イソシアネート基と反応可能な活性水素含有化合物から水素原子を除いた残基を示し、Zのうちの少なくとも2つは、下記一般式(II)で表されるピラゾール基である。
{式(II)中、nは0~3の整数を示し、nが1以上の場合、R1は同一であっても異なっていてもよく、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数2~6のアルケニル基、炭素数7~12のアラルキル基、N-置換カルバミル基、フェニル基、-NO2、ハロゲン原子又は-CO-O-R2(式中R2は水素原子又は炭素数1~6のアルキル基である)を示す。}] - 前記ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液の液状媒体が、水、又は、水と、水に混合した場合に分層する、ケトン類、エステル類、エーテル類、芳香族炭化水素類及び脂肪族炭化水素類からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の有機溶剤とを含む混合物である、請求項1に記載の撥水撥油剤組成物。
- 前記ピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液の液状媒体が、水とエーテル類とを含む混合物である、請求項1又は2に記載の撥水撥油剤組成物。
- 前記非イオン界面活性剤が、HLB10以上の非イオン界面活性剤である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の撥水撥油剤組成物。
- 前記一般式(I)中のZの全てが前記一般式(II)で表されるピラゾール基である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の撥水撥油剤組成物。
- 請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の撥水撥油剤組成物により撥水撥油性が付与された機能性繊維製品。
- 撥水撥油性を有する機能性繊維製品を製造する方法であって、
繊維基材を、下記一般式(I)で表されるピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネートと非イオン界面活性剤とを含有するピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液が含まれる処理液A及び炭素数が6以下のペルフルオロアルキル基を有する撥水撥油性成分が含まれる処理液Bに接触させる、又は、下記一般式(I)で表されるピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネートと非イオン界面活性剤とを含有するピラゾールブロック疎水性ポリイソシアネート水分散液及び炭素数が6以下のペルフルオロアルキル基を有する撥水撥油性成分が含まれる処理液Cに接触させる、工程を備える、機能性繊維製品の製造方法。

[式(I)中、mは2以上の整数を示し、Rはm個のイソシアネート基を有するポリイソシアネート化合物からm個のイソシアネート基を除いた残基を示し、Zは同一でも異なっていてもよく、イソシアネート基と反応可能な活性水素含有化合物から水素原子を除いた残基を示し、Zのうちの少なくとも2つは、下記一般式(II)で表されるピラゾール基である。
{式(II)中、nは0~3の整数を示し、nが1以上の場合、R1は同一であっても異なっていてもよく、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数2~6のアルケニル基、炭素数7~12のアラルキル基、N-置換カルバミル基、フェニル基、-NO2、ハロゲン原子又は-CO-O-R2(式中R2は水素原子又は炭素数1~6のアルキル基である)を示す。}]
