Description

光学用粘着シート
 本発明は、光学部材等の貼り合わせや、光学製品の製造等に用いられる光学用粘着シートに関する。
 近年、様々な分野で、液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)などの表示装置や、タッチパネルなどの前記表示装置と組み合わせて使用される入力装置が広く用いられるようになってきた。これらの表示装置や入力装置の製造等においては、光学部材を貼り合わせる用途に透明な粘着シート(粘着テープ)が使用されている。例えば、タッチパネルと各種表示装置や光学部材(保護板等)の貼り合わせ、タッチパネルの構成部材の貼り合わせ等に、透明な粘着シートが使用されている(例えば、特許文献1~4参照)。
 上記の表示装置や入力装置の用途拡大に伴い、このような装置に使用される粘着シートには、粘着シートとしての特性を多様な環境下において十分に発揮することが要求されるようになってきた。例えば、常態で透明かつ無色であること(以下、「無色透明性」と称する場合がある)のみならず、加湿によって白濁化しない性質(以下、「耐白化性」と称する場合がある)、特に、高温高湿条件から室温条件への環境変化に対する耐白化性が求められている。また、高温での優れた粘着性や高温で発泡や剥がれを生じない性質(以下、「耐発泡剥がれ性」と称する場合がある)などの、高温での接着信頼性が求められている。
 高い透明性を有し、かつ、耐白化性にも優れた粘着剤が知られている(特許文献5参照)。しかしながら、前記粘着剤より構成された粘着シートは、高温での粘着力が不足し、高温下で発泡や剥がれが発生する等、高温での接着信頼性に劣るという問題を有していた。即ち、耐白化性と、高温での接着信頼性とを兼ね備えた粘着シートは未だ得られていないのが現状である。
 また、上記の表示装置や入力装置の中には、印刷段差等の段差を有する部材を含む物が増えてきている。例えば、携帯電話などにおいては、枠状の印刷部分が施された部材を有するタッチパネルなどが用いられている。かかる用途においては、粘着シートには、部材を貼付固定する性能と同時に印刷段差を埋める性能、即ち、優れた段差吸収性(段差追従性)が要求されている。
 上記の段差吸収性を向上させるために、粘着シートが有する粘着剤層を低弾性率化する手法が試みられている。しかしながら、このように低弾性率化された粘着剤層を有する粘着シートは、段差吸収性には優れているものの、打ち抜き加工された場合に切断面から粘着剤層がはみ出しやすく、はみ出した粘着剤層がセパレータ(剥離ライナー)の端面に付着して「糊引き」(セパレータの剥離時に粘着剤層の一部が糸状に引かれる現象)や「糊欠け」(セパレータの剥離時に粘着剤層の一部が欠ける現象)が発生したり、はみ出した粘着剤層にゴミが付着する等、加工性に劣るという問題を有していた。

 従って、本発明の目的は、高い無色透明性を有し、耐白化性、高温での接着信頼性、段差吸収性に優れ、さらには加工性にも優れた光学用粘着シートを提供することにある。
 そこで、本発明者らが鋭意検討した結果、特定のプラスチックフィルム基材の少なくとも片面側に、特定のモノマー成分から形成されたアクリル系ポリマーを含有し、かつ、23℃におけるせん断貯蔵弾性率が特定の範囲に制御されたアクリル系粘着剤層を有し、60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存した後の水分率が特定範囲となるように制御された粘着シートとすることにより、高い無色透明性を有し、耐白化性、高温での接着信頼性、段差吸収性に優れ、さらには加工性にも優れた光学用粘着シートが得られることを見出した。本発明はこれらの知見に基づいて完成されたものである。
 すなわち、本発明は、全光線透過率が88%以上、内部ヘイズが1.5%以下、b*値が-0.5~0.5、厚さが12~75μmであるプラスチックフィルム基材の少なくとも片面側に、ホモポリマーを形成した際のガラス転移温度が-10℃以上であるモノマーを必須のモノマー成分として形成されたアクリル系ポリマーを含有し、かつ、23℃におけるせん断貯蔵弾性率が0.8×105~5.0×105Paであるアクリル系粘着剤層を有し、60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存した後の水分率が0.65重量%以上であることを特徴とする光学用粘着シートを提供する。
 さらに、イオンクロマトグラフ法で測定される、前記光学用粘着シートより純水で100℃、45分の条件で抽出されたアクリル酸イオンおよびメタクリル酸イオンの合計量が、前記アクリル系粘着剤層の単位面積あたり20ng/cm2以下である前記の光学用粘着シートを提供する。
 さらに、前記アクリル系粘着剤層のゲル分率が40~95%である前記の光学用粘着シートを提供する。
 さらに、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後のヘイズ、取り出してから30分後のヘイズ、取り出してから1時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから3時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから6時間後のヘイズのそれぞれと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズとの差が、いずれも7%未満である前記の光学用粘着シートを提供する。
 さらに、前記アクリル系ポリマーが、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量%)に対して、水酸基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの含有量が5~35重量%であるモノマー成分より形成されたアクリル系ポリマーである前記の光学用粘着シートを提供する。
 さらに、前記アクリル系ポリマーが、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量%)に対して、下記式(I)で表され重合可能な官能基を有するアミド化合物の含有量が5~20重量%であるモノマー成分より形成されたアクリル系ポリマーである前記の光学用粘着シートを提供する。

 本発明の光学用粘着シートは、前記構成を有しているので、高温下において優れた粘着性および耐発泡剥がれ性を発揮し、高温での接着信頼性に優れる。また、常態で高い無色透明性を有し、かつ、耐白化性にも優れるため、本発明の光学用粘着シートを用いて得られる光学部材や光学製品の外観を悪化させない。特に、前記光学製品(光学部材)が表示装置(表示部材)である場合には、表示部の視認性を低下させることもない。また、段差を有する光学部材等に貼付した場合であっても、このような段差を埋め、段差部分に気泡を生じることがなく、段差吸収性にも優れる。さらに、打ち抜き加工等を施した場合であっても、端面(切断面)へのゴミの付着、糊引きや糊欠け等の不具合が発生することがなく、加工性に優れるため、本発明の光学用粘着シートを用いると光学製品(光学部材)等の生産性が向上する。

 以下に、本発明の実施の形態を詳細に説明する。
 本発明の光学用粘着シート(以下、単に「本発明の粘着シート」と称する場合がある)は、全光線透過率が88%以上、内部ヘイズが1.5%以下、b*値が-0.5~0.5、厚さが12~75μmであるプラスチックフィルム基材の少なくとも片面側に、ホモポリマーを形成した際のガラス転移温度(Tg)が-10℃以上であるモノマーを必須のモノマー成分として形成されたアクリル系ポリマーを含有し、かつ、23℃におけるせん断貯蔵弾性率が0.8×105~5.0×105Paであるアクリル系粘着剤層(以下、「本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層」と称する場合がある)を有する。
 本発明の粘着シートは、上記プラスチックフィルム基材の少なくとも片面側に本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を有していればよく、本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層以外の粘着剤層(以下、「他の粘着剤層」と称する場合がある)を有していても構わない。また、本発明の粘着シートは、上記プラスチックフィルム基材の両面側に粘着剤層を有する両面粘着シートであってもよいし、上記プラスチックフィルム基材の片面側にのみ粘着剤層を有する片面粘着シートであってもよい。中でも、2つの部材同士を貼り合わせる観点からは、両面粘着シートであることが好ましく、より好ましくは上記プラスチックフィルム基材の両面側に本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を有する両面粘着シートである。なお、本発明において、「粘着シート」という場合には、テープ状のもの、即ち、「粘着テープ」も含まれるものとする。また、本発明の粘着シートにおける粘着剤層表面のことを、「粘着面」と称する場合がある。
[プラスチックフィルム基材]
 本発明の粘着シートにおけるプラスチックフィルム基材は、本発明の粘着シートを被着体(光学部材等)に使用(貼付)する際には、本発明の粘着シートが有する粘着剤層とともに被着体に貼付される部分である。本発明の粘着シートの使用時(貼付時)に剥離されるセパレータ(剥離ライナー)は「プラスチックフィルム基材」には含まない。
 上記プラスチックフィルム基材の、可視光波長領域における全光線透過率(JIS K7361-1に準じる)は88%以上であり、好ましくは88.5%以上、より好ましくは89%以上である。全光線透過率を88%以上とすることにより、粘着シートの透明性が向上する。なお、上記全光線透過率は、JIS K7361-1に準じ、例えば、ヘイズメータ(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「HM-150」)を用いて測定することができる。
 上記プラスチックフィルム基材の内部ヘイズは、1.5%以下であり、好ましくは1.0%以下、より好ましくは0.5%以下である。内部ヘイズを1.5%以下とすることにより、粘着シートの透明性が向上する。なお、上記内部ヘイズは、例えば、JIS K7136に準じ、両面粘着シート(日東電工(株)製、商品名「CS9621」)をプラスチックフィルム基材の両側の表面に貼り付け、ヘイズメータ(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「HM-150」)を用いて測定することができる。
 上記プラスチックフィルム基材のb*値は、-0.5~0.5であり、好ましくは-0.4~0.4、より好ましくは-0.3~0.3である。b*値を-0.5~0.5とすることにより、粘着シートの無色性が向上する。なお、上記b*値とは、JIS Z8729に準拠したL***表色系におけるb*値(色度)を指し、例えば、分光光度計(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「DOT-3C」)を用いて測定することができる。
 上記プラスチックフィルム基材の厚さは、12~75μmであり、好ましくは12~50μm、より好ましくは25~50μmである。厚さを12μm以上とすることにより、粘着シートの加工性が向上する。一方、厚さを75μm以下とすることにより、粘着シートの段差吸収性が向上する。
 本発明の粘着シートにおけるプラスチックフィルム基材としては、全光線透過率、内部ヘイズ、b*値および厚さが上記の範囲内に制御されていればよく、特に限定されないが、例えば、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)等のポリエステル系樹脂、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)等のアクリル系樹脂、ポリカーボネート、トリアセチルセルロース(TAC)、ポリサルフォン、ポリアリレート、ポリイミド、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、エチレン-プロピレン共重合体、商品名「アートン(環状オレフィン系ポリマー;JSR製)」、商品名「ゼオノア(環状オレフィン系ポリマー;日本ゼオン製)」等の環状オレフィン系ポリマーなどのプラスチック材料から構成されたプラスチックフィルムなどを用いることができる。なお、上記プラスチック材料は単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用されていてもよい。中でも、上記プラスチックフィルム基材としては、無色透明性と加工性の観点で、ポリエステル系樹脂から構成されたプラスチックフィルムが好ましく、より好ましくはポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(PETフィルム)である。上記プラスチックフィルム基材は、単層および複層のいずれの形態を有していてもよい。
 上記プラスチックフィルム基材としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、商品名「ルミラー T60」(東レ(株)製)、商品名「ルミラー F71」(東レ(株)製)、商品名「T600」(三菱樹脂(株)製)などの市販品を用いることもできる。
 また、上記プラスチックフィルム基材の表面には、必要に応じて、粘着剤層との密着性を高めるため、慣用の表面処理、クロム酸処理、オゾン暴露、火炎暴露、高圧電撃暴露、イオン化放射線処理等の化学的又は物理的方法による酸化処理等が施されていてもよく、下塗り剤によるコーティング処理等が施されていてもよい。
 本発明の粘着シートは、上記プラスチックフィルム基材を構成成分として有することにより、高い加工性を発揮することができる。また、上記プラスチックフィルム基材の厚さが上記範囲に制御されていることによって、段差吸収性にも優れる。さらに、上記プラスチックフィルム基材は、高い無色透明性を有するため、本発明の粘着シートを用いて得られる光学部材や光学製品の外観を低下(悪化)させず、上記光学部材や光学製品が表示装置(表示部材)である場合には、これらの表示部の視認性を低下させることもない。
 [アクリル系粘着剤層]
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層は、アクリル系ポリマーを主成分として含有する粘着剤層である。上記アクリル系ポリマーとしては、ホモポリマーを形成した際のガラス転移温度が-10℃以上であるモノマー(以下、「ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマー」と称する場合がある)を必須のモノマー成分として形成されたアクリル系ポリマーであればよく、特に限定されない。本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層(100重量%)中の上記アクリル系ポリマーの含有量は、高温での接着特性や高温高湿での外観特性の観点から、65重量%以上(例えば、65~100重量%)が好ましく、より好ましくは70~99.999重量%である。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層は、粘着剤層の形成方法によっても異なり、特に限定されないが、上記アクリル系ポリマーを必須成分とする粘着剤組成物、または、上記アクリル系ポリマーを形成する単量体(モノマー)の混合物(「モノマー混合物」と称する場合がある)又はその部分重合物を必須成分とする粘着剤組成物から形成される。特に限定されないが、前者としては、例えば、いわゆる溶剤型の粘着剤組成物などが挙げられ、後者としては、例えば、いわゆる活性エネルギー線硬化型の粘着剤組成物などが挙げられる。上記粘着剤組成物には、さらに必要に応じて、架橋剤やその他の各種の添加剤が含まれていてもよい。
 上記「粘着剤組成物」には「粘着剤層を形成するための組成物」という意味も含むものとする。また、上記「モノマー混合物」とは、上記アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分のみからなる混合物を意味する。また、上記「部分重合物」とは、上記モノマー混合物の構成成分のうち1又は2以上の成分が部分的に重合している組成物を意味する。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーは、アクリル系モノマーを必須のモノマー成分(単量体成分)として形成(構成)された重合体であって、かつ、ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーを必須のモノマー成分として形成されたアクリル系ポリマーである。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーは、特に限定されないが、例えば、直鎖又は分岐鎖状のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル及び/又は(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステルを主たるモノマー成分とし、さらに極性基含有モノマーをモノマー成分として形成された重合体であることが好ましい。なお、上記「(メタ)アクリル」とは、「アクリル」及び/又は「メタクリル」(「アクリル」及び「メタクリル」のうち、いずれか一方又は両方)を表し、他も同様である。
 上記の直鎖又は分岐鎖状のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(以下、単に「(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル」と称する場合がある)としては、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸メチル、(メタ)アクリル酸エチル、(メタ)アクリル酸プロピル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソプロピル、(メタ)アクリル酸n-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸s-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸t-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸ペンチル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソペンチル、(メタ)アクリル酸ヘキシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ヘプチル、(メタ)アクリル酸オクチル、(メタ)アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソオクチル、(メタ)アクリル酸ノニル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソノニル、(メタ)アクリル酸デシル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ウンデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ドデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸トリデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸テトラデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ペンタデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ヘキサデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ヘプタデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸オクタデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ノナデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸エイコシルなどのアルキル基の炭素数が1~20の(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルが挙げられる。なお、上記(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルは単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。これらの中でも、アルキル基の炭素数が3~14の(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルが好ましく、より好ましくはアルキル基の炭素数が3~10の(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル、さらに好ましくはアルキル基の炭素数が3~10のアクリル酸アルキルエステル、特に好ましくはアクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル(2EHA)、アクリル酸n-ブチル(BA)である。
 また、上記の(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステル[アルコキシアルキル(メタ)アクリレート]としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸2-メトキシエチル、(メタ)アクリル酸2-エトキシエチル、(メタ)アクリル酸メトキシトリエチレングリコール、(メタ)アクリル酸3-メトキシプロピル、(メタ)アクリル酸3-エトキシプロピル、(メタ)アクリル酸4-メトキシブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸4-エトキシブチルなどが挙げられる。なお、上記(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステルは単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。これらの中でも、アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステル[アルコキシアルキルアクリレート]が好ましく、より好ましくはアクリル酸2-メトキシエチル(MEA)である。
 なお、上記の(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル及び/又は(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステルの含有量は、低温接着性の観点から、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量%)に対して、30重量%以上(例えば、30~99重量%)が好ましく、より好ましくは50~99重量%、さらに好ましくは50~95重量%である。なお、上記アクリル系ポリマーのモノマー成分として、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル及び(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステルの両方が用いられている場合は、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルの含有量と(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステルの含有量の合計量(合計含有量)が上記の範囲を満たせばよい。
 また、上記アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分として、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルと(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステルの両方が用いられている場合、これらの合計含有量(100重量%)に対する(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステルの含有量は、1~75重量%が好ましく、より好ましくは1~50重量%である。
 上記極性基含有モノマーとしては、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル、(メタ)アクリル酸3-ヒドロキシプロピル、(メタ)アクリル酸4-ヒドロキシブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸6-ヒドロキシヘキシル、ビニルアルコール、アリルアルコールなどの水酸基(ヒドロキシル基)含有モノマー;(メタ)アクリルアミド、N,N-ジメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N-メチロール(メタ)アクリルアミド、N-メトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N-ブトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリルアミドなどのアミド基含有モノマー;(メタ)アクリル酸アミノエチル、(メタ)アクリル酸ジメチルアミノエチル、(メタ)アクリル酸t-ブチルアミノエチルなどのアミノ基含有モノマー;(メタ)アクリル酸グリシジル、(メタ)アクリル酸メチルグリシジルなどのエポキシ基含有モノマー;アクリロニトリルやメタクリロニトリルなどのシアノ基含有モノマー;N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン、(メタ)アクリロイルモルホリン、N-ビニルピペリドン、N-ビニルピペラジン、N-ビニルピロール、N-ビニルイミダゾールなどの複素環含有ビニル系モノマー;ビニルスルホン酸ナトリウムなどのスルホン酸基含有モノマー;2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリロイルフォスフェートなどのリン酸基含有モノマー;シクロヘキシルマレイミド、イソプロピルマレイミドなどのイミド基含有モノマー;2-メタクリロイルオキシエチルイソシアネートなどのイソシアネート基含有モノマーなどが挙げられる。上記極性基含有モノマーは単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーを形成する共重合性モノマーとしては、多官能性モノマーを用いることができる。上記多官能性モノマーとしては、例えば、ヘキサンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ブタンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、(ポリ)エチレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、(ポリ)プロピレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ネオペンチルグリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールトリ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサ(メタ)アクリレート、トリメチロールプロパントリ(メタ)アクリレート、テトラメチロールメタントリ(メタ)アクリレート、アリル(メタ)アクリレート、ビニル(メタ)アクリレート、ジビニルベンゼン、エポキシアクリレート、ポリエステルアクリレート、ウレタンアクリレートなどが挙げられる。なお、上記多官能性モノマーは単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。上記の中でも、高温での粘着性向上の観点から、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサアクリレートを好ましく使用することができる。
 上記多官能性モノマーの含有量は、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量%)に対して0.5重量%以下(例えば、0~0.5重量%)が好ましく、より好ましくは、0~0.1重量%である。含有量を0.5重量%以下とすることにより、高温での接着信頼性と段差吸収性のバランスをとり得る。なお、架橋剤を用いる場合には多官能性モノマーを用いなくてもよいが、架橋剤を用いない場合には多官能性モノマーの含有量は0.001~0.5重量%が好ましく、より好ましくは0.002~0.1重量%である。
 また、上述の極性基含有モノマーや多官能性モノマー以外の共重合性モノマー(その他の共重合性モノマー)を用いることもでき、例えば、シクロペンチル(メタ)アクリレート、シクロヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート、イソボルニル(メタ)アクリレート等の脂環式炭化水素基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルやフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、フェノキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、ベンジル(メタ)アクリレート等の芳香族炭化水素基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルなどの前述の(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル、(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステル、極性基含有モノマー、多官能性モノマー以外の(メタ)アクリル酸エステル;酢酸ビニル、プロピオン酸ビニルなどのビニルエステル類;スチレン、ビニルトルエンなどの芳香族ビニル化合物;エチレン、ブタジエン、イソプレン、イソブチレンなどのオレフィン類又はジエン類;ビニルアルキルエーテルなどのビニルエーテル類;塩化ビニルなどを挙げることができる。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を構成するアクリル系ポリマーは、上記のモノマー成分の中でも、ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーを必須のモノマー成分として形成されている必要がある。ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーは、ホモポリマーを形成した際のガラス転移温度(Tg)が-10℃以上であればよく、上記のモノマー成分((メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル、(メタ)アクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステル、極性基含有モノマー、多官能性モノマーやその他の共重合性モノマー)の中から適宜選択することができる。
 上記ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーは、ホモポリマーを形成した際のガラス転移温度(Tg)が-10℃以上(例えば、-10~250℃)であり、好ましくは-10~230℃、より好ましくは-10~200℃である。ホモポリマーを形成した際のTgが-10℃以上のモノマーを用いることによって、高温での接着信頼性が向上する。一方、ホモポリマーを形成した際のTgが250℃以下のモノマーを用いることにより、アクリル系粘着剤層が硬くなり過ぎず、段差吸収性が向上する。
 なお、本発明における「ホモポリマーを形成した際のガラス転移温度(Tg)」(単に「ホモポリマーのガラス転移温度(Tg)」と称する場合がある)とは、「当該モノマーの単独重合体のガラス転移温度(Tg)」を意味し、具体的には、「Polymer Handbook」(第3版、John Wiley&Sons,Inc、1987年)に数値が挙げられている。なお、上記文献に記載されていないモノマーのホモポリマーのTgは、例えば、以下の測定方法により得られる値(特開2007-51271号公報参照)をいう。すなわち、温度計、撹拌機、窒素導入管及び還流冷却管を備えた反応器に、モノマー100重量部、2,2'-アゾビスイソブチロニトリル0.2重量部及び重合溶媒として酢酸エチル200重量部を投入し、窒素ガスを導入しながら1時間撹拌する。このようにして重合系内の酸素を除去した後、63℃に昇温し10時間反応させる。次いで、室温まで冷却し、固形分濃度33重量%のホモポリマー溶液を得る。次いで、このホモポリマー溶液をセパレータ上に流延塗布し、乾燥して厚さ約2mmの試験サンプル(シート状のホモポリマー)を作製する。そして、この試験サンプルを直径7.9mmの円盤状に打ち抜き、パラレルプレートで挟み込み、粘弾性試験機(ARES、レオメトリックス社製)を用いて周波数1Hzの剪断歪を与えながら、温度領域-70~150℃、5℃/分の昇温速度で剪断モードにより粘弾性を測定し、tanδのピークトップ温度をホモポリマーのTgとする。
 上記ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーとしては、ホモポリマーを形成した際のTgが-10℃以上であればよく、特に限定されないが、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸イソボルニル、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン、N-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、メタクリル酸メチルなどが挙げられる。なお、上記ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーは単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。これらの中でも、高温での接着信頼性向上の観点から、アクリル酸イソボルニル(IBXA)(ホモポリマーのTg:94℃)、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)(ホモポリマーのTg:54℃)、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(N-(2-ヒドロキシエチル)アクリルアミド)(HEAA)(ホモポリマーのTg:98℃)が好ましい。特に、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミドを用いると、高温での接着信頼性向上に加えて、後述の粘着シートの水分率を効果的に高めることができるため、好ましい。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーを形成する全モノマー成分(モノマー成分全量)(100重量%)に対する、ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーの含有量は、特に制限されないが、5重量%以上(例えば、5~60重量%)が好ましく、より好ましくは5~50重量%、さらに好ましくは5~40重量%、さらに好ましくは8~40重量%である。含有量を5重量%以上とすることにより、高温での接着信頼性が向上する。一方、含有量を60重量%以下とすることにより、アクリル系粘着剤層が硬くなり過ぎず、段差吸収性に優れる。なお、ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーとして2種以上のモノマーが使用されている場合は、該ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーの合計含有量が上記範囲を満たせばよい。
 また、上記アクリル系ポリマーは、親水性モノマーをモノマー成分として形成された重合体であることが好ましい。上記親水性モノマーをモノマー成分として使用すると、後述の粘着シートの水分率を効率的に高めることができ、耐白化性が向上する。
 上記親水性モノマーとしては、水分に対する親和性が高いモノマーであればよく、特に限定されないが、一般的には、前述の極性基含有モノマーの中から選択することができる。中でも、上記親水性モノマーとしては、効果的に水分率を高くする観点で、水酸基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、後述のアミド化合物が好ましい。
 上記水酸基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステルとしては、水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルであればよく、特に限定されないが、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシプロピル、(メタ)アクリル酸3-ヒドロキシプロピル、(メタ)アクリル酸4-ヒドロキシブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸6-ヒドロキシヘキシル等が挙げられる。なお、上記水酸基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステルは単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。上記の中でも、高温での接着信頼性の観点で、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)、アクリル酸4-ヒドロキシブチル、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシプロピルが好ましい。
 上記水酸基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの含有量は、特に限定されないが、アクリル系ポリマーを形成する全モノマー成分(モノマー成分全量)(100重量%)に対して、5~35重量%が好ましく、より好ましくは10~30重量%、さらに好ましくは15~30重量%である。含有量を5重量%以上とすることにより、後述の粘着シートの水分率を効率的に高めることができ、耐白化性が向上する。一方、含有量を35重量%以下とすることにより、高湿条件での凝集力が小さくなり過ぎない。
 上記アミド化合物は、下記式(I)で表され、重合可能な官能基を有する単量体である。

 上記式(I)中、R1~R3は各々独立に(即ち、R1~R3は互いに同一であってもよく、異なっていてもよい)水素原子又は一価の有機基であるか、あるいは、R1~R3の任意の2つが互いに結合して環構造を形成して残りの1つが一価の有機基である。
 上記式(I)で表され重合可能な官能基を有するアミド化合物の好ましい一例として、上記式(I)中のR1がビニル基又はイソプロペニル基である、下記式(II)で表されるアミド化合物が挙げられる。

 上記式(II)中、R4は水素原子又はメチル基である。また、R5、R6は各々独立に水素原子又は一価の有機基であるか、あるいは、互いに結合して環構造を形成している。
 上記一価の有機基としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、直鎖又は分岐鎖状のアルキル基(例えば、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基など)、ヒドロキシアルキル基(例えば、メチロール基、ヒドロキシエチル基など)、アルコキシアルキル基(例えば、メトキシ基、エトキシ基など)などが挙げられる。
 上記環構造(上記のR5とR6が互いに結合して形成する環構造)としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、モルホリン環、ピペリジン環、ピロリジン環、ピペラジン環などの少なくとも一つの窒素原子を含有する複素環構造が挙げられる。
 上記R5、R6が各々独立に水素原子又は一価の有機基である場合、上記式(II)で表わされるアミド化合物としては、例えば、(メタ)アクリルアミド;N,N-ジメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N,N-ジエチル(メタ)アクリルアミドなどのN-アルキル(メタ)アクリルアミド;N-メトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N-ブトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミドなどのN-アルコキシアルキル(メタ)アクリルアミド;N-メチロール(メタ)アクリルアミド、N-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリルアミドなどのN-ヒドロキシアルキル(メタ)アクリルアミドなどが挙げられる。
 また、上記R5とR6が互いに結合して環構造を形成している場合、上記式(II)で表わされるアミド化合物としては、例えば、N-(メタ)アクリロイルモルホリン、N-(メタ)アクリロイルピペリジン、N-(メタ)アクリロイルピロリジン、N-(メタ)アクリロイルピペラジンなどのN-(メタ)アクリロイル複素環化合物などが挙げられる。
 また、上記式(I)で表され重合可能な官能基を有するアミド化合物の好ましい他の一例として、上記式(I)中のR2(又はR3)がビニル基であり、かつ、R1とR3(又はR2)とが互いに結合して環構造を形成した、下記式(III)で表されるアミド化合物(N-ビニル環状アミド)が挙げられる。

 ここで、上記式(III)中、R7は二価の有機基であり、特に限定されないが、例えば、飽和又は不飽和の炭化水素基が挙げられるが、好ましくは飽和炭化水素基(例えば、炭素数3~5のアルキレン基)である。
 上記式(III)で表されるN-ビニル環状アミドとしては、例えば、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン、N-ビニル-2-ピペリドン、N-ビニル-2-カプロラクタムなどが挙げられる。
 中でも、上記式(I)で表され重合可能な官能基を有するアミド化合物としては、上記式(II)中、R5、R6が各々独立に水素原子又は一価の有機基であるアミド化合物、上記式(III)で表されるN-ビニル環状アミドが好ましく、より好ましくは、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)である。なお、上記アミド化合物は単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
 なお、上記アミド化合物(式(I)で表され重合可能な官能基を有するアミド化合物)の中でも、ホモポリマーを形成した際のTgが-10℃以上であるものについては、前述の「ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマー」として使用してもよい(即ち、上記アミド化合物と上記ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーとが重複してもよい)。このようなアミド化合物を用いると、後述の粘着シートの水分率を高めることができると同時に、高温での接着信頼性が向上するため、好ましい。このようなアミド化合物としては、例えば、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)等が挙げられる。
 上記アミド化合物の含有量は、特に限定されないが、アクリル系ポリマーを形成する全モノマー成分(モノマー成分全量)(100重量%)に対して、5~20重量%が好ましく、より好ましくは5~17重量%、さらに好ましくは5~15重量%である。含有量を5重量%以上とすることにより、高温での接着信頼性が向上する。一方、含有量を20重量%以下とすることにより、段差吸収性が向上する。
 本発明の粘着シートにおいて、さらに金属薄膜や金属酸化物薄膜等の金属に対する耐腐食性を発揮させるためには、上記アクリル系ポリマーを形成するためのモノマー成分としてのカルボキシル基含有モノマーの含有量を低減することが好ましい。具体的には、例えば、カルボキシル基含有モノマーの含有量は、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量%)に対して、5重量%未満であることが好ましく、より好ましくは2重量%以下(例えば、0~2重量%)、さらに好ましくは0.5重量%以下(例えば、0~0.5重量%)である。含有量を5重量%未満とすることによって、金属薄膜や金属酸化物薄膜に対する耐腐食性が向上する。上記カルボキシル基含有モノマーとしては、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸、イタコン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、クロトン酸、イソクロトン酸などを例示することができる。また、これらカルボキシル基含有モノマーの酸無水物(例えば、無水マレイン酸、無水イタコン酸などの酸無水物基含有モノマー)も、上記カルボキシル基含有モノマーとして含まれるものとする。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーは、上記モノマー成分を公知慣用の重合方法により重合して調製することができる。上記アクリル系ポリマーの重合方法としては、例えば、溶液重合方法、乳化重合方法、塊状重合方法や活性エネルギー線照射による重合方法(活性エネルギー線重合方法)などが挙げられるが、透明性、耐水性、コストなどの点で、溶液重合方法、活性エネルギー線重合方法が好ましい。
 上記の活性エネルギー線重合(光重合)に際して照射される活性エネルギー線としては、例えば、α線、β線、γ線、中性子線、電子線などの電離性放射線や、紫外線などが挙げられ、特に紫外線が好適である。また、活性エネルギー線の照射エネルギー、照射時間、照射方法などは特に制限されず、光重合開始剤を活性化させて、モノマー成分の反応を生じさせることができればよい。
 上記の溶液重合に際しては、各種の一般的な溶剤を用いることができる。このような溶剤としては、酢酸エチル、酢酸n-ブチル等のエステル類;トルエン、ベンゼン等の芳香族炭化水素類;n-ヘキサン、n-ヘプタン等の脂肪族炭化水素類;シクロヘキサン、メチルシクロヘキサン等の脂環式炭化水素類;メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン等のケトン類などの有機溶剤が挙げられる。溶剤は単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーの調製に際しては、重合反応の種類に応じて、光重合開始剤(光開始剤)や熱重合開始剤などの重合開始剤を用いることができる。重合開始剤は単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
 上記光重合開始剤としては、特に制限されず、例えば、ベンゾインエーテル系光重合開始剤、アセトフェノン系光重合開始剤、α-ケトール系光重合開始剤、芳香族スルホニルクロリド系光重合開始剤、光活性オキシム系光重合開始剤、ベンゾイン系光重合開始剤、ベンジル系光重合開始剤、ベンゾフェノン系光重合開始剤、ケタール系光重合開始剤、チオキサントン系光重合開始剤等を用いることができる。光重合開始剤の使用量としては、特に制限はされないが、例えば、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量100重量部に対して0.01~0.2重量部が好ましく、より好ましくは0.05~0.15重量部である。
 上記のベンゾインエーテル系光重合開始剤としては、例えば、ベンゾインメチルエーテル、ベンゾインエチルエーテル、ベンゾインプロピルエーテル、ベンゾインイソプロピルエーテル、ベンゾインイソブチルエーテル、2,2-ジメトキシ-1,2-ジフェニルエタン-1-オン、アニソールメチルエーテルなどが挙げられる。アセトフェノン系光重合開始剤としては、例えば、2,2-ジエトキシアセトフェノン、2,2-ジメトキシ-2-フェニルアセトフェノン、1-ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン、4-フェノキシジクロロアセトフェノン、4-(t-ブチル)ジクロロアセトフェノンなどが挙げられる。α-ケトール系光重合開始剤としては、例えば、2-メチル-2-ヒドロキシプロピオフェノン、1-[4-(2-ヒドロキシエチル)フェニル]-2-メチルプロパン-1-オンなどが挙げられる。芳香族スルホニルクロリド系光重合開始剤としては、例えば、2-ナフタレンスルホニルクロライドなどが挙げられる。光活性オキシム系光重合開始剤としては、例えば、1-フェニル-1,1-プロパンジオン-2-(o-エトキシカルボニル)-オキシムなどが挙げられる。ベンゾイン系光重合開始剤には、例えば、ベンゾインなどが含まれる。ベンジル系光重合開始剤には、例えば、ベンジルなどが含まれる。ベンゾフェノン系光重合開始剤は、例えば、ベンゾフェノン、ベンゾイル安息香酸、3,3′-ジメチル-4-メトキシベンゾフェノン、ポリビニルベンゾフェノン、α-ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトンなどが含まれる。ケタール系光重合開始剤には、例えば、ベンジルジメチルケタールなどが含まれる。チオキサントン系光重合開始剤には、例えば、チオキサントン、2-クロロチオキサントン、2-メチルチオキサントン、2,4-ジメチルチオキサントン、イソプロピルチオキサントン、2,4-ジイソプロピルチオキサントン、ドデシルチオキサントンなどが含まれる。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーを溶液重合により重合させる際に用いられる重合開始剤としては、例えばアゾ系開始剤、過酸化物系重合開始剤(例えば、ジベンゾイルペルオキシド、tert-ブチルペルマレエートなど)、レドックス系重合開始剤などが挙げられる。中でも、特開2002-69411号公報に開示されたアゾ系開始剤が特に好ましい。かかるアゾ系開始剤は開始剤の分解物が加熱発生ガス(アウトガス)の発生原因となる部分としてアクリル系ポリマー中に残留しにくいため好ましい。上記アゾ系開始剤としては、2,2'-アゾビスイソブチロニトリル(以下、AIBNと称する場合がある)、2,2'-アゾビス-2-メチルブチロニトリル(以下、AMBNと称する場合がある)、2,2'-アゾビス(2-メチルプロピオン酸)ジメチル、4,4'-アゾビス-4-シアノバレリアン酸などが例示される。上記アゾ系開始剤の使用量は、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量100重量部に対して、0.05~0.5重量部が好ましく、より好ましくは0.1~0.3重量部である。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーの重量平均分子量(Mw)は、40万~200万が好ましく、より好ましくは50万~150万である。重量平均分子量を40万以上とすることにより、高温での接着信頼性が向上する。一方、重量平均分子量を200万以下とすることにより、粘着剤組成物の粘度が高くなり過ぎず、塗工性が向上する。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーの重量平均分子量は、例えば、重合開始剤の種類やその使用量、重合の際の温度や時間の他、モノマー濃度、モノマー滴下速度などによってコントロールすることができる。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーの分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は、15以下が好ましく、より好ましくは12以下である。分子量分布を15以下とすることにより、高温での接着信頼性が向上する。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーの分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は、例えば、重合開始剤の種類、重合開始剤の量、重合開始剤の添加のタイミング、重合温度などによりコントロールすることができる。
 なお、本発明では、上記アクリル系ポリマーの重量平均分子量(Mw)及び分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフ(GPC)法により測定することができる。より具体的には、後述の(評価)の「(1)重量平均分子量および分子量分布」に記載の方法によって測定することができる。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーのガラス転移温度(Tg)は、せん断貯蔵弾性率(23℃)制御の観点から、-65~-20℃が好ましく、より好ましくは-60~-30℃である。ガラス転移温度を-65℃以上とすることにより、高温での接着信頼性が向上する。一方、ガラス転移温度を-20℃以下とすることにより、段差吸収性が向上する。
 上記アクリル系ポリマーのガラス転移温度(Tg)は、下記式で表されるガラス転移温度(理論値)である。

 上記式中、Tgはアクリル系ポリマーのガラス転移温度(単位:K)、Tgiはモノマーiがホモポリマーを形成した際のガラス転移温度(単位:K)、Wiはモノマーiの全モノマー成分中の重量分率を表す(i=1、2、・・・・n)。なお、上記はアクリル系ポリマーがモノマー1、モノマー2、・・・、モノマーnのn種類のモノマー成分から構成される場合の計算式である。
 なお、上記アクリル系ポリマーのガラス転移温度は、例えば、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマーの種類や含有量などによって制御することができる。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を形成するための粘着剤組成物(アクリル系粘着剤組成物)には、必要に応じて、架橋剤、架橋促進剤、シランカップリング剤、粘着付与樹脂(ロジン誘導体、ポリテルペン樹脂、石油樹脂、油溶性フェノールなど)、老化防止剤、充填剤、着色剤(顔料や染料など)、紫外線吸収剤、酸化防止剤、連鎖移動剤、可塑剤、軟化剤、界面活性剤、帯電防止剤などの公知の添加剤を、本発明の特性を損なわない範囲で用いることができる。また、本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を形成する際には、各種の一般的な溶剤を用いることもできる。溶剤の種類としては、特に限定されず、前述の溶液重合に際して用いられる溶剤として例示されたものなどを用いることができる。
 上記架橋剤を用いることにより、アクリル系ポリマーを架橋し、アクリル系粘着剤層のゲル分率をコントロールすることができる。上記架橋剤としては、イソシアネート系架橋剤、エポキシ系架橋剤、メラミン系架橋剤、過酸化物系架橋剤の他、尿素系架橋剤、金属アルコキシド系架橋剤、金属キレート系架橋剤、金属塩系架橋剤、カルボジイミド系架橋剤、オキサゾリン系架橋剤、アジリジン系架橋剤、アミン系架橋剤などが挙げられる。上記架橋剤は単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。中でも、高温での接着信頼性向上の観点で、イソシアネート系架橋剤、エポキシ系架橋剤が好ましい。特に、架橋剤として、イソシアネート系架橋剤を用いると、プラスチックフィルム基材に対するアクリル系粘着剤層の投錨性が向上するため、さらに粘着シートの加工性が向上する。
 上記イソシアネート系架橋剤(多官能イソシアネート化合物)としては、例えば、1,2-エチレンジイソシアネート、1,4-ブチレンジイソシアネート、1,6-ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートなどの低級脂肪族ポリイソシアネート類;シクロペンチレンジイソシアネート、シクロヘキシレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート、水素添加トリレンジイソシアネート、水素添加キシレンジイソシアネートなどの脂環族ポリイソシアネート類;2,4-トリレンジイソシアネート、2,6-トリレンジイソシアネート、4,4'-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、キシリレンジイソシアネートなどの芳香族ポリイソシアネート類などが挙げられる。上記の中でも、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、キシレンジイソシアネート(キシリレンジイソシアネート)が好ましい。市販品としては、例えば、トリメチロールプロパン/トリレンジイソシアネート付加物[日本ポリウレタン工業(株)製、商品名「コロネートL」]、トリメチロールプロパン/ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート付加物[日本ポリウレタン工業(株)製、商品名「コロネートHL」]、トリメチロールプロパン/キシリレンジイソシアネート付加物[三井化学(株)製、商品名「タケネート110N」]などを用いることができる。
 上記エポキシ系架橋剤(多官能エポキシ化合物)としては、例えば、N,N,N′,N′-テトラグリシジル-m-キシレンジアミン、ジグリシジルアニリン、1,3-ビス(N,N-ジグリシジルアミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,6-ヘキサンジオールジグリシジルエーテル、ネオペンチルグリコールジグリシジルエーテル、エチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、プロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ポリエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ポリプロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ソルビトールポリグリシジルエーテル、グリセロールポリグリシジルエーテル、ペンタエリスリトールポリグリシジルエーテル、ポリグリセロールポリグリシジルエーテル、ソルビタンポリグリシジルエーテル、トリメチロールプロパンポリグリシジルエーテル、アジピン酸ジグリシジルエステル、o-フタル酸ジグリシジルエステル、トリグリシジル-トリス(2-ヒドロキシエチル)イソシアヌレート、レゾルシンジグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノール-S-ジグリシジルエーテルの他、分子内にエポキシ基を2つ以上有するエポキシ系樹脂などが挙げられる。市販品としては、例えば、三菱ガス化学(株)製、商品名「テトラッドC」などを用いることができる。
 上記粘着剤組成物における上記架橋剤(特に、イソシアネート系架橋剤)の含有量としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量部)に対して0.001~10重量部が好ましく、より好ましくは0.01~5重量部である。特に、本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層は、上記アクリル系ポリマーおよびイソシアネート系架橋剤を含む粘着剤組成物であって、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量部)に対して、イソシアネート系架橋剤を0.1~10重量部含有する粘着剤組成物から形成されたアクリル系粘着剤層であることが好ましい。
 上記粘着剤組成物には、架橋反応を速めることを目的として、架橋促進剤(架橋助剤)として複数のヒドロキシル基を含有するアミン系化合物を使用することができる。上記複数のヒドロキシル基を含有するアミン系化合物としては、分子内にヒドロキシル基(アルコール性ヒドロキシル基)を少なくとも2個有しているアミン系化合物であれば、特に限定されないが、例えば、特開2009-079203号公報に開示された複数のヒドロキシル基を含有するアミン系化合物を特に好ましく使用することができる。上記複数のヒドロキシル基を有するアミン系化合物を使用すると、架橋速度が速くなるため生産性が向上する。このようなアミン系化合物としては、例えば、商品名「EDP-300」、「EDP-450」、「EDP-1100」、「プルロニック」(以上、(株)ADEKA製)などの市販品を利用することもできる。
 上記粘着剤組成物における上記複数のヒドロキシル基を含有するアミン系化合物の含有量は、架橋速度を促進して生産性を向上させる観点から、例えば、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量部)に対して、0.01~5.0重量部が好ましく、より好ましくは0.05~1.0重量部である。
 さらに、上記粘着剤組成物は、ガラスに対する接着性を向上させることを目的として、シランカップリング剤を含有していてもよい。上記シランカップリング剤としては、特に限定されないが、γ-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-グリシドキシプロピルトリエトキシシラン、γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N-フェニル-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシランなどが好ましく例示される。中でも、γ-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランが好ましい。上記シランカップリング剤としては、例えば、商品名「KBM-403」(信越化学工業(株)製)などの市販品を利用することもできる。
 上記粘着剤組成物における上記シランカップリング剤の含有量は、ガラスに対する接着性向上の観点から、例えば、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量部)に対し、0.01~1重量部が好ましく、より好ましくは0.03~0.5重量部である。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層の厚さは、特に限定されないが、例えば、10~500μmが好ましく、より好ましくは10~250μm、特に好ましくは10~200μmである。厚さを10μm以上とすることにより、貼付時に発生する応力が分散されやすく、剥がれが低減される。また、段差吸収性が向上する。一方、厚さを500μm以下とすることにより、塗工後の巻き取り時にシワが生じにくくなる。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層の、動的粘弾性測定により測定される23℃におけるせん断貯蔵弾性率(以下、「せん断貯蔵弾性率(23℃)」又は「G'(23℃)」と称する場合がある)は、0.8×105~5.0×105Paであり、好ましくは0.8×105~4.0×105Pa、より好ましくは0.8×105~3.0×105Paである。せん断貯蔵弾性率(23℃)を0.8×105Pa以上とすることにより、アクリル系粘着剤層が柔らかくなり過ぎず、例えば、加工時の粘着剤層の切断面からのはみ出しが抑制され、ゴミの付着、糊引きや糊欠け等の発生が低減し、加工性が向上する。一方、せん断貯蔵弾性率(23℃)を5.0×105Pa以下とすることにより、貼り合わせ時の気泡や浮きの発生が低減し、段差吸収性が向上する。なお、本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層のせん断貯蔵弾性率(23℃)は、動的粘弾性測定により測定される。例えば、上記アクリル系粘着剤層を厚さ約1.5mm程度になるように複数層積層させ、Reometric Scientific社製「Advanced Reometric Expansion System(ARES)」にて、せん断モードで、周波数1Hzの条件で、-70~200℃の範囲で昇温速度5℃/分で測定することができる。
 なお、上記せん断貯蔵弾性率(23℃)は、例えば、アクリル系ポリマーのTgや分子量(重量平均分子量、分子量分布)等により制御することができる。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層のゲル分率は、耐発泡剥がれ性向上の観点から、40~95%(重量%)が好ましく、より好ましくは50~90%である。上記ゲル分率は、酢酸エチル不溶分として求めることができ、具体的には、アクリル系粘着剤層を酢酸エチル中に23℃で7日間浸漬した後の不溶分の、浸漬前の試料に対する重量分率(単位:重量%)として求められる。ゲル分率を40%以上とすることにより、高温での接着信頼性が向上する。一方、ゲル分率を95%以下とすることにより、段差吸収性が向上する。
 上記ゲル分率(溶剤不溶分の割合)は、具体的には、例えば、以下の「ゲル分率の測定方法」により算出される値である。
 (ゲル分率の測定方法)
 本発明の粘着シートから粘着剤層(本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層):約0.1gを採取し、平均孔径0.2μmの多孔質テトラフルオロエチレンシート(商品名「NTF1122」、日東電工株式会社製)に包んだ後、凧糸で縛り、その際の重量を測定し、該重量を浸漬前重量とする。なお、該浸漬前重量は、粘着剤層(上記で採取した本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層)と、テトラフルオロエチレンシートと、凧糸との総重量である。また、テトラフルオロエチレンシートと凧糸との合計重量も測定しておき、該重量を包袋重量とする。
 次に、粘着剤層をテトラフルオロエチレンシートで包み凧糸で縛ったもの(「サンプル」と称する)を、酢酸エチルで満たした50ml容器に入れ、23℃にて7日間静置する。その後、容器からサンプル(酢酸エチル処理後)を取り出して、アルミニウム製カップに移し、130℃で2時間、乾燥機中で乾燥して酢酸エチルを除去した後、重量を測定し、該重量を浸漬後重量とする。
 そして、下記の式からゲル分率を算出する。
    ゲル分率(重量%)=((A-B)/(C-B))×100
 (上記式において、Aは浸漬後重量であり、Bは包袋重量であり、Cは浸漬前重量である。)
 上記ゲル分率は、例えば、アクリル系ポリマーのモノマー組成、重量平均分子量、架橋剤の使用量(添加量)等により制御することができる。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層の酢酸エチル抽出における可溶分(ゾル分)(単に「ゾル分」と称する場合がある。)の重量平均分子量は、5万~70万が好ましく、より好ましくは10万~70万である。上記のゾル分の重量平均分子量を5万以上とすることにより、耐発泡剥がれ性が向上する。一方、ゾル分の重量平均分子量を70万以下とすることにより、塗工性が向上する。
 上記の「酢酸エチル抽出における可溶分(ゾル分)の重量平均分子量」は、以下の測定方法により算出される。

 本発明の粘着シートから粘着剤層(本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層)を約0.1g採取し、平均孔径0.2μmの多孔質テトラフルオロエチレンシート(商品名「NTF1122」、日東電工株式会社製)に包んだ後、凧糸で縛る。
 次に、上記粘着剤層をテトラフルオロエチレンシートで包み凧糸で縛ったものを、酢酸エチルで満たした50ml容器に入れ、23℃にて7日間静置する。その後、容器中の酢酸エチル溶液(抽出されたゾル分を含む)を取り出して、減圧乾燥させて、溶媒(酢酸エチル)を揮発させ、ゾル分を得る。
 上記ゾル分をテトラヒドロフラン(THF)に溶解させて、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフ(GPC)法によりゾル分の重量平均分子量を測定する。
 上記ゾル分の重量平均分子量は、例えば、アクリル系ポリマーの重量平均分子量、架橋剤の種類及び使用量(添加量)などにより制御することができる。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層のヘイズ(JIS K7136に準じる)は、例えば、3.0%以下が好ましく、より好ましくは1.5%以下である。ヘイズを3.0%以下とすることにより、粘着シートの透明性が向上する。なお、ヘイズは、例えば、スライドガラス(例えば、全光線透過率91.8%、ヘイズ0.4%のもの)に本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を貼り合わせ、ヘイズメータ(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「HM-150」)を用いて測定することができる。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層の可視光波長領域における全光線透過率(JIS K7361-1に準じる)は、例えば、90%以上が好ましく、より好ましくは91%以上である。上記全光線透過率を90%以上とすることにより、粘着シートの透明性が向上する。なお、全光線透過率は、例えば、スライドガラス(例えば、全光線透過率91.8%、ヘイズ0.4%のもの)に本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を貼り合わせ、ヘイズメータ(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「HM-150」)を用いて測定することができる。
 本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層の形成方法としては、公知乃至慣用の粘着剤層の形成方法を用いることができ、また、アクリル系ポリマーの重合方法などによっても異なり、特に限定されないが、例えば、以下の(1)~(3)などの方法が挙げられる。(1)アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分の混合物(モノマー混合物)又はその部分重合物及び必要に応じて光重合開始剤や架橋剤などの添加剤を含む組成物を、プラスチックフィルム基材又はセパレータ上に塗布(塗工)し、活性エネルギー線(特に、紫外線が好ましい)を照射して、粘着剤層を形成する。(2)アクリル系ポリマー、溶剤、必要に応じて架橋剤などの添加剤を含む組成物(溶液)を、プラスチックフィルム基材又はセパレータ上に塗布(塗工)し、乾燥及び/又は硬化して粘着剤層を形成する。(3)上記(1)で形成した粘着剤層をさらに乾燥させる。
 なお、本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層の形成方法における塗布(塗工)には、公知のコーティング法を用いることが可能であり、慣用のコーター、例えば、グラビヤロールコーター、リバースロールコーター、キスロールコーター、ディップロールコーター、バーコーター、ナイフコーター、スプレーコーター、コンマコーター、ダイレクトコーターなどを用いることができる。
(他の粘着剤層)
 本発明の粘着シートが他の粘着剤層を有する場合、他の粘着剤層としては、特に制限されず、例えば、ウレタン系粘着剤、アクリル系粘着剤、ゴム系粘着剤、シリコーン系粘着剤、ポリエステル系粘着剤、ポリアミド系粘着剤、エポキシ系粘着剤、ビニルアルキルエーテル系粘着剤、フッ素系粘着剤などの公知の粘着剤から形成された公知慣用の粘着剤層が挙げられる。上記粘着剤は単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。
 [光学用粘着シート]
 本発明の粘着シートを60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存した後(直後)の水分率は、0.65重量%以上(例えば、0.65~5.0重量%)であり、好ましくは0.65~3.0重量%、より好ましくは0.75~3.0重量%である。上記水分率を0.65重量%以上とすることにより、耐白化性が向上する。
 粘着シートの加湿による白濁化は、例えば、粘着シートを高温高湿環境に置くことによってアクリル系粘着剤層が吸湿し、この吸湿水分が結露することが原因で起こる現象であると考えられる。本発明においては、粘着シートの水分率(60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存後の水分率)を0.65重量%以上に制御することにより、例えば、粘着シートが置かれた環境が大きく変化した場合(特に、高温高湿条件から室温条件への環境変化など)であっても、粘着シートの高い吸水性に起因して吸湿水分が結露しにくくなり、その結果、耐白化性が向上したものと推定される。
 なお、上記水分率は、本発明の粘着シートを60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存し、室温環境(23℃、50%RH)に取り出した直後(例えば、取り出し後0~10分程度)に測定して得られた値であることが好ましい。本発明の粘着シートの水分率は、具体的には、例えば、本発明の粘着シートを60℃、95%RHの環境下で120時間保存した後、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出してから、下記の[水分率の測定方法]に従って測定することができる。なお、本発明の粘着シートがセパレータを有する場合には、セパレータを剥離した状態で60℃、95%RHの環境下への保存を行う。
[水分率の測定方法]
(試料の調製及び測定方法)
 本発明の粘着シートが両面粘着シートである場合には、前記粘着シートを幅1cm×長さ2cm(面積2cm2)のサイズに切り出し、片方の粘着面(粘着剤層表面)をアルミホイルに貼付し、もう一方の粘着面は開放状態として試料を作製する。なお、本発明の粘着シートが片面粘着シートの場合には、幅1cm×長さ2cm(面積2cm2)のサイズに切りだし、粘着面を開放状態としたものを試料とする。
 試料(60℃、95%RHの環境下で120時間保存後の試料)の秤量を行った後、加熱気化装置に入れ、150℃で加熱した時に発生したガスを滴定セル内に導入する。次いで、下記の電量滴定式水分測定装置を用い、下記の測定条件にて試料中の水分量(μg)を測定し、本発明の粘着シート1gあたり(両面粘着シートの場合には、上記試料の重量からアルミホイルの重量を除いた重量1gあたり)の水分量を求め、粘着シートの水分率(重量%)を算出する。なお、測定回数(n数)は、例えば、2回が好ましい。

 本発明の粘着シートのヘイズ(JIS K7136に準じる)は、例えば、3.0%以下が好ましく、より好ましくは、1.5%以下である。また、本発明の粘着シートの可視光波長領域における全光線透過率(JIS K7361-1に準じる)は、特に限定されないが、87%以上が好ましく、より好ましくは、89%以上である。上記のヘイズおよび全光線透過率を上記範囲に制御することにより、粘着シートを用いた光学製品や光学部材の外観の悪化や、表示部の視認性の低下などが抑制される。なお、上記のヘイズおよび全光線透過率は、例えば、セパレータが設けられている場合にはセパレータを剥離して、上記のアクリル系粘着剤層のヘイズおよび全光線透過率と同様の方法により測定することができる。
 本発明の粘着シートのb*値は、-0.5~0.5が好ましく、より好ましくは-0.4~0.4である。上記b*値を-0.5~0.5とすることにより、粘着シートを用いた光学製品や光学部材の外観の悪化や、表示部の視認性の低下などが抑制される。なお、上記b*値は、例えば、セパレータが設けられている場合にはセパレータを剥離して、スライドガラス(例えば、全光線透過率91.8%、ヘイズ0.4%、b*値0.18のもの)に貼り合わせ、分光光度計(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「DOT-3C」)を用いて測定することができる。
 60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存した後(直後)の、本発明の粘着シートのヘイズ(以下、60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存した後(直後)のヘイズを「ヘイズ(湿熱後、直後)」と称する場合がある)は、例えば、3.5%以下が好ましく、より好ましくは2.5%以下である。上記ヘイズ(湿熱後、直後)を3.5%以下とすることにより、粘着シートを用いた光学製品や光学部材の外観の悪化や、表示部の視認性の低下などが抑制される。なお、上記ヘイズ(湿熱後、直後)は、例えば、セパレータが設けられている場合にはセパレータを剥離して、スライドガラス(例えば、全光線透過率91.8%、ヘイズ0.4%のもの)に本発明の粘着シートを貼り合わせ、これを60℃、95%RHの環境下で120時間保存した後、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後に、ヘイズメータ(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「HM-150」)を用いて測定することができる。
 本発明の粘着シートは、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後のヘイズ、取り出してから30分後のヘイズ、取り出してから1時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから3時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから6時間後のヘイズのそれぞれと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズとの差が、いずれも7%未満であることが好ましい。即ち、本発明の粘着シートは、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後のヘイズと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズとの差[(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後のヘイズ)-(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズ)]、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出してから30分後のヘイズと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズとの差[(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出してから30分後のヘイズ)-(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズ)]、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出してから1時間後のヘイズと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズとの差[(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出してから1時間後のヘイズ)-(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズ)]、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出してから3時間後のヘイズと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズとの差[(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出してから3時間後のヘイズ)-(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズ)]、及び60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出してから6時間後のヘイズと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズとの差[(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出してから6時間後のヘイズ)-(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズ)]のいずれもが、7%(%ポイント)未満であることが好ましく、より好ましくは5%未満である。上記ヘイズの差を7%未満とすることにより、耐白化性が向上し、光学製品や光学部材の外観や透明性に悪影響を及ぼしにくくなる傾向がある。なお、上記「60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズ」とは、23℃、50%RHの環境下に少なくとも24時間置いて調湿した後の粘着シートを用いて測定されるヘイズを意味する。
 本発明の粘着シートにおける上述のヘイズの差は、例えば、下記の方法により測定することができる。
 まず、本発明の粘着シートを23℃、50%RHの環境下に少なくとも24時間静置して調湿した後、スライドガラス(例えば、全光線透過率91.8%、ヘイズ0.4%のもの)に貼り合わせて試験片を作製する。なお、本発明の粘着シートが両面粘着シートの場合には、さらに、スライドガラスに対する反対側の粘着面に厚さ100μmのPETフィルム(例えば、ヘイズ0.6%のもの)を貼り合わせたものを試験片とする。そして、上記試験片のヘイズ(60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズ)を測定する。
 次に、上記試験片を、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存した後、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出す。上記試験片について、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後のヘイズ、取り出してから30分後のヘイズ、取り出してから1時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから3時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから6時間後のヘイズを測定する。
 そして、上記の60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後のヘイズ、取り出してから30分後のヘイズ、取り出してから1時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから3時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから6時間後のヘイズのそれぞれと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズとの差を算出する。
 より具体的には、後述の(評価)の「(11)ヘイズの差」に記載の方法により測定することができる。
 イオンクロマトグラフ法で測定される、本発明の粘着シートより純水で100℃、45分の条件で抽出されたアクリル酸イオンおよびメタクリル酸イオンの合計量[抽出(メタ)アクリル酸イオン量]は、本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層の単位面積あたり、20ng/cm2以下(例えば、0~20ng/cm2)が好ましく、より好ましくは0~17ng/cm2、さらに好ましくは0~15ng/cm2である。上記の抽出(メタ)アクリル酸イオン量は、本発明の粘着シートを加湿環境下などに置いた場合の、粘着剤層からのアクリル酸イオン及びメタクリル酸イオンの水分での遊離しやすさの度合いを表す。上記抽出(メタ)アクリル酸イオン量を20ng/cm2以下とすることにより、金属薄膜等に貼付した状態で、加湿環境下などの水分の存在下に置いた場合であっても、前記金属薄膜等に対して腐食を生じにくく、耐腐食性が向上する。
 上記の「イオンクロマトグラフ法で測定される、本発明の粘着シートより純水で100℃、45分の条件で抽出されたアクリル酸イオンおよびメタクリル酸イオンの合計量」は、以下の方法で測定することができる。
 まず、本発明の粘着シートを適切な大きさに切り出し、セパレータが設けられている場合にはセパレータを剥離して、粘着面を露出させ試験片とする。両面粘着シートの場合には、一方の粘着面上にはPETフィルム(厚さ25~50μm)を貼付して、片方の粘着面のみを露出させた形態とする。なお、この際、金属薄膜に貼付する側の粘着面(本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層側の表面)を露出させる。試験片の大きさ(粘着面の露出面積)は100cm2が好ましい。
 次いで、上記試験片を、温度100℃の純水中に入れ、45分間煮沸し、アクリル酸イオン及びメタクリル酸イオンの煮沸抽出を行う。
 次いで、イオンクロマトグラフ法(イオンクロマトグラフィー)により、上記で得られた抽出液中のアクリル酸イオンおよびメタクリル酸イオンの合計量(単位:ng)を測定し、試験片の粘着面(露出した粘着面)の単位面積あたりのアクリル酸イオンおよびメタクリル酸イオンの合計量(単位:ng/cm2)を算出する。イオンクロマトグラフ法(イオンクロマトグラフィー)の測定条件は、特に限定されないが、例えば、下記の条件で測定することができる。

 粘着シートから水分によって遊離してくる(メタ)アクリル酸イオンは、一般的に、アクリル系粘着剤層中に存在する(メタ)アクリル酸に起因する。上記(メタ)アクリル酸イオンは、高温高湿条件下で水分により金属薄膜に浸入して導通を妨げるためと推定されるが、金属薄膜の抵抗値上昇(金属薄膜の腐食)を引き起こす。一般的に、粘着シートの接着性を向上させることを目的として、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分として(メタ)アクリル酸(特に、アクリル酸)を多量(例えば、10重量%以上)に使用した場合には、アクリル系粘着剤層中に未反応の(メタ)アクリル酸が残留しやすくなり、粘着シートから水分によって遊離してくる(メタ)アクリル酸イオンも増加する傾向にある。これに対して、本発明においては、粘着剤層形成時の乾燥を十分に行うか、アクリル系ポリマーの重合時間を長くするか、モノマー成分として用いる(メタ)アクリル酸の量を低減することにより、アクリル系粘着剤層中に残留する(メタ)アクリル酸を低減させているため、粘着シートから水分によって遊離してくる(メタ)アクリル酸イオンが少なく、これに起因する、被着体である金属薄膜の腐食、抵抗値変化が抑制される。
 本発明の粘着シートは、公知慣用の粘着シートの製造方法に従って製造することができる。例えば、プラスチックフィルム基材の表面に本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を直接形成してもよいし(直写法)、セパレータ上に本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を形成した後、プラスチックフィルム基材に転写する(貼り合わせる)ことにより、プラスチックフィルム基材上に本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層を設けてもよい(転写法)。

 本発明の粘着シートの粘着剤層表面(粘着面)は、使用時まではセパレータ(剥離ライナー)により保護されていてもよい。なお、本発明の粘着シートが両面粘着シートである場合、各粘着面は2枚のセパレータによりそれぞれ保護されていてもよいし、両面が剥離面となっているセパレータ1枚によりロール状に巻回される形態で保護されていてもよい。セパレータは粘着剤層の保護材として用いられており、被着体に貼付する際に剥がされる。なお、セパレータは必ずしも設けられていなくてもよい。上記セパレータとしては、慣用の剥離紙などを使用でき、特に限定されないが、例えば、剥離処理層を有する基材、フッ素ポリマーからなる低接着性基材や無極性ポリマーからなる低接着性基材などを用いることができる。上記剥離処理層を有する基材としては、例えば、シリコーン系、長鎖アルキル系、フッ素系、硫化モリブデン等の剥離処理剤により表面処理されたプラスチックフィルムや紙等が挙げられる。上記フッ素ポリマーからなる低接着性基材におけるフッ素系ポリマーとしては、例えば、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン、ポリフッ化ビニル、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、テトラフルオロエチレン-ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、クロロフルオロエチレン-フッ化ビニリデン共重合体等が挙げられる。また、上記無極性ポリマーとしては、例えば、オレフィン系樹脂(例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンなど)等が挙げられる。なお、セパレータは公知乃至慣用の方法により形成することができる。また、セパレータの厚さ等も特に制限されない。
 本発明の粘着シートは、上述のように、全光線透過率が88%以上、内部ヘイズが1.5%以下、b*値が-0.5~0.5、厚さが12~75μmであるプラスチックフィルム基材を有することにより、優れた加工性、段差吸収性を発揮する。さらに、本発明の粘着シートを貼付して得られる光学部材や光学製品の外観を損ねたり、表示部を有する場合にはその視認性を低下させることもない。また、本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層は、23℃におけるせん断貯蔵弾性率が0.8×105~5.0×105Paであり、かつ、ホモポリマーを形成した際のガラス転移温度が-10℃以上であるモノマー成分を必須のモノマー成分として形成されたアクリル系ポリマーを有するため、優れた段差吸収性及び高温での接着信頼性を発揮する。さらに、粘着シートを60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存した後の水分率が0.65重量%以上であるため、耐白化性に優れる。このように、本発明の粘着シートは、光学用途に対して特に要求される上記特性を高い水準で兼ね備えた粘着シートである。本発明の粘着シートは無色透明性に優れ、かつ、製品(タッチパネル等)の視認性や外観を低下(悪化)させ得る気泡や浮きの発生、白濁化等の現象が抑制されるため、本発明の粘着シートを用いると美しい仕上がりの製品が得られる。
 上記光学部材とは、光学的特性(例えば、偏光性、光屈折性、光散乱性、光反射性、光透過性、光吸収性、光回折性、旋光性、視認性など)を有する部材をいう。光学部材としては、光学的特性を有する部材であれば、特に限定されないが、例えば、表示装置(画像表示装置)や入力装置等の光学製品を構成する部材又はこれらの機器(光学製品)に用いられる部材が挙げられ、例えば、偏光板、波長板、位相差板、光学補償フィルム、輝度向上フィルム、導光板、反射フィルム、反射防止フィルム、透明導電フィルム(ITOフィルムなど)、意匠フィルム、装飾フィルム、表面保護板、プリズム、レンズ、カラーフィルター、透明基板や、さらにはこれらが積層されている部材(これらを総称して「機能性フィルム」と称する場合がある)が挙げられる。なお、上記の「板」及び「フィルム」は、それぞれ板状、フィルム状、シート状等の形態を含むものとし、たとえば、「偏光フィルム」は、「偏光板」、「偏光シート」も含むものとする。また、「機能性フィルム」は「機能性板」、「機能性シート」を含むものとする。
 上記表示装置(画像表示装置)としては、例えば、液晶表示装置、有機EL(エレクトロルミネッセンス)表示装置、PDP(プラズマディスプレイパネル)、電子ペーパーなどが挙げられる。また、上記入力装置としては、タッチパネルなどが挙げられる。
 上記の光学部材としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、アクリル樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ガラス、金属薄膜などからなる部材(例えば、上記のシート状やフィルム状、板状の部材など)などが挙げられる。なお、本発明における「光学部材」には、上記の通り、被着体である表示装置や入力装置の視認性を保ちながら加飾や保護の役割を担う部材(意匠フィルム、装飾フィルムや表面保護板等)も含むものとする。
 本発明の粘着シートは、上記の抽出(メタ)アクリル酸イオン量を特定範囲に制御した場合には、優れた耐腐食性を発揮することができるため、特に金属薄膜(金属薄膜又は金属酸化物薄膜)に対して貼り付ける用途に好ましく使用できる。金属薄膜としては、金属、金属酸化物やこれらの混合物からなる薄膜であり、特に限定されないが、例えば、ITO(酸化インジウムスズ)、ZnO、SnO、CTO(酸化カドミウムスズ)の薄膜が挙げられる。金属薄膜の厚さとしては、特に限定されないが、100~2000Åが好ましい。ITOなどの金属薄膜は、例えば、PETフィルム上に設けられ、透明導電フィルムとして使用される。上記の本発明の粘着シートを金属薄膜に対して貼り付ける際には、本発明のアクリル系粘着剤層表面が金属薄膜側の粘着面となるようにして用いられることが好ましい。
 本発明の粘着シートの具体的な用途の一例として、タッチパネルの製造用途に用いる、タッチパネル用粘着シートを挙げることができる。例えば、静電容量方式のタッチパネルの製造においては、ITOなどの金属薄膜が設けられた透明導電フィルムと、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)板、ハードコートフィルム、ガラスレンズ等とを本発明の粘着シートを介して貼り合わせる等の用途に用いることができる。上記タッチパネルは、特に限定されないが、例えば、タッチパネルを有する携帯電話などに用いられる。
 また、本発明の粘着シートが両面粘着シートである場合、本発明の粘着シートを各種の機能性フィルムの少なくとも片面に貼付、積層することにより、機能性フィルムの少なくとも片面に本発明の両面粘着シートを有する粘着型機能性フィルムを得ることができる。
 以下に、実施例に基づいて本発明をより詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施例により限定されるものではない。なお、以下の記載及び表1中の「タケネートD110N」(固形分75重量%)の配合量は、「タケネートD110N」の固形分換算の配合量(重量部)で表した。また、「KBM-403」、「EDP-300」の配合量は、それぞれ「KBM-403」、「EDP-300」そのもの(商品自体)の配合量(重量部)で表した。
実施例1
 モノマー成分として、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル(2EHA)69.7重量部、アクリル酸2-メトキシエチル(MEA)10重量部、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)13重量部、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)6重量部、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)1.3重量部、重合開始剤として2,2'-アゾビスイソブチロニトリル0.1重量部、及び重合溶媒として酢酸エチル200重量部を、セパラブルフラスコに投入し、窒素ガスを導入しながら、1時間撹拌した。このようにして、重合系内の酸素を除去した後、63℃に昇温し、10時間反応させて酢酸エチルを加え、固形分濃度30重量%のアクリル系ポリマー溶液を得た。
 表1に示すように、上記アクリル系ポリマー100重量部に対して、架橋剤としてイソシアネート系架橋剤(三井化学(株)製、商品名「タケネートD110N」)を0.2重量部、シランカップリング剤としてγ-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン(信越化学工業(株)製、商品名「KBM-403」)0.15重量部、架橋促進剤としてエチレンジアミンにプロピレンオキシドを付加したポリオール((株)ADEKA製、商品名「EDP-300」)0.2重量部を加え、粘着剤組成物(溶液)を調製した。
 次に、上記粘着剤組成物(溶液)を、厚さ25μmのPETフィルム(東レ(株)製、商品名「ルミラー T60」、全光線透過率89.1%、内部ヘイズ0.7%、b*値0.07)上に、乾燥後の厚さが50μmとなるように流延塗布し、60℃で1分間および155℃で1分間加熱乾燥して粘着剤層を形成し、該粘着剤層表面にセパレータ(三菱樹脂(株)製、商品名「MRF75」)を貼り合わせた。さらに、前記粘着剤層を形成した側に対する反対側のPETフィルム表面にも同様の操作を施して粘着剤層を形成した後、該粘着剤層表面にセパレータ(三菱樹脂(株)製、商品名「MRF75」)を貼り合わせた。その後、23℃で72時間エージングし、厚さ125μmの両面粘着シートを得た。なお、両側の粘着剤層の厚みはともに50μmであり、粘着剤層のゲル分率(両側の粘着剤層のゲル分率は等しい)は表1に示した通りである。
実施例2
 表1に示すように、モノマー成分として、アクリル酸n-ブチル(BA)69.7重量部、アクリル酸2-メトキシエチル(MEA)10重量部、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)13重量部、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)6重量部、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)1.3重量部を用い、シランカップリング剤「KBM-403」を使用せず、プラスチックフィルム基材として厚さ12μmのPETフィルム(東レ(株)製、商品名「ルミラー F71」、全光線透過率88.9%、内部ヘイズ1.2%、b*値0.02)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ112μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
実施例3
 表1に示すように、モノマー成分として、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル(2EHA)75重量部、アクリル酸2-メトキシエチル(MEA)11.5重量部、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)5重量部、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)7重量部、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)1.5重量部を用い、プラスチックフィルム基材として厚さ50μmのPETフィルム(三菱樹脂(株)製、商品名「ダイアホイル T600」、全光線透過率89.1%、内部ヘイズ1.0%、b*値0.12)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ150μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
実施例4
 表1に示すように、モノマー成分として、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル(2EHA)70重量部、アクリル酸2-メトキシエチル(MEA)11.5重量部、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)10重量部、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)7重量部、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)1.5重量部を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ125μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
実施例5
 表1に示すように、モノマー成分として、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル(2EHA)65重量部、アクリル酸2-メトキシエチル(MEA)11.5重量部、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)15重量部、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)7重量部、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)1.5重量部を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ125μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
実施例6
 表1に示すように、イソシアネート系架橋剤「タケネートD110N」の使用量を0.12重量部に変更した以外は実施例5と同様にして、厚さ125μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
実施例7
 表1に示すように、イソシアネート系架橋剤「タケネートD110N」の使用量を0.45重量部に変更した以外は実施例5と同様にして、厚さ125μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
実施例8
 表1に示すように、モノマー成分として、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル(2EHA)60重量部、アクリル酸2-メトキシエチル(MEA)11.5重量部、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)15重量部、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)7重量部、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)1.5重量部、アクリル酸(AA)5重量部を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ125μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
比較例1
 表1に示すように、モノマー成分として、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル(2EHA)75重量部、アクリル酸n-ブチル(BA)24重量部、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)1重量部を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ125μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
比較例2
 表1に示すように、モノマー成分として、アクリル酸n-ブチル(BA)26.5重量部、アクリル酸エチル(EA)50重量部、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)15重量部、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)7重量部、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)1.5重量部を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ125μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
比較例3
 表1に示すように、モノマー成分として、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル(2EHA)65重量部、アクリル酸2-メトキシエチル(MEA)11.5重量部、アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(2HEA)15重量部、N-ビニル-2-ピロリドン(NVP)7重量部、N-ヒドロキシエチルアクリルアミド(HEAA)1.5重量部を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、粘着剤組成物(溶液)を調製した。
 次に、上記粘着剤組成物(溶液)を、セパレータ(三菱樹脂(株)製、商品名「MRF75」)の剥離処理面上に、乾燥後の厚さが50μmとなるように塗布し、常圧下、60℃で3分間及び155℃で4分間加熱乾燥し、さらに50℃で72時間エージングを行い、両面粘着シート(基材レス両面粘着シート)を得た。
比較例4
 表1に示すように、プラスチックフィルム基材として、厚さ100μmのPETフィルム(東洋紡(株)製、商品名「A4100」、全光線透過率89.5%、内部ヘイズ0.5%、b*値0.09)を使用した以外は実施例5と同様にして、厚さ200μmの両面粘着シートを得た。
(評価)
 実施例および比較例で得られた両面粘着シート、該両面粘着シートを構成するアクリル系粘着剤層、アクリル系ポリマーについて、表1に示す評価を行った。測定方法又は評価方法は下記の通りである。なお、アクリル系粘着剤層のゲル分率、ゾル分の重量平均分子量、粘着シート(両面粘着シート)の水分率の測定方法は前述の通りである。
(1)重量平均分子量および分子量分布
 実施例および比較例において、両面粘着シートの製造に用いたアクリル系ポリマー溶液より揮発分を除去し、上記両面粘着シートを構成するアクリル系ポリマーを得た。前記アクリル系ポリマーを10mM-LiBr+10mM-リン酸/DMF溶液(溶離液)に溶解させ、前記アクリル系ポリマーの濃度が2.0g/Lである溶液を調製し、一晩放置した。その後、前記溶液を0.45μmメンブレンフィルターでろ過し、ろ液について下記の測定装置、測定条件にてGPC測定を行い、ポリスチレン換算値により、アクリル系ポリマー(実施例および比較例で得られた両面粘着シートを構成するアクリル系ポリマー)の重量平均分子量(Mw)および分子量分布(Mw/Mn)を算出した。なお、再現性を確認するために、測定回数を2回(n=2)とした。

(2)せん断貯蔵弾性率
 実施例および比較例で得られた両面粘着シートを構成するアクリル系粘着剤層のみを積層して、厚さ約1.5mmのアクリル系粘着剤層の積層体を作製し、測定サンプルとした。
 上記測定サンプルを、Rheometric Scientific社製「Advanced Rheometric Expansion System(ARES)」を用いて、せん断モードで、周波数1Hzの条件で、-70~200℃の範囲で昇温速度5℃/分で測定して、アクリル系粘着剤層の23℃におけるせん断貯蔵弾性率を算出した。なお、結果は、表1における「貯蔵弾性率」の欄に示した。
(3)抽出(メタ)アクリル酸イオン量
 実施例及び比較例で得られた両面粘着シートの片方の粘着面を露出させ、該粘着面にPETフィルム(東レ(株)製、「ルミラーS10」、厚さ25μm)を貼付した後、サイズ:幅10cm×長さ10cmのシート片を切り出した。その後、残りのセパレータを剥離し、片方の粘着面だけを露出させた試験片を作製した(粘着面の露出面積:100cm2)。
 次いで、上記試験片を、温度100℃の純水(50ml)中に入れ、45分間煮沸し、煮沸抽出を行い、抽出液を得た。
 次いで、イオンクロマトグラフ法(イオンクロマトグラフィー)により、上記で得られた抽出液中のアクリル酸イオン及びメタクリル酸イオンの合計量(単位:ng)を測定し、試験片の粘着面(露出した粘着面)の単位面積あたりのアクリル酸イオン及びメタクリル酸イオンの合計量(単位:ng/cm2)を算出した。なお、抽出(メタ)アクリル酸イオンが検出限界以下(検出限界:2.5ng)であった場合には、表1において「ND」と記載した。

(4)発泡剥がれの有無(高温での接着信頼性)
 実施例、比較例で得られた両面粘着シートの片方の粘着面を露出させ、該粘着面を導電性フィルム(日東電工(株)製、商品名「エレクリスタ V270L-THMP」)をあらかじめ140℃で60分間処理したもののITO膜形成面に貼り合わせ、幅100mm×100mmのフィルム片を作製した。
 上記のフィルム片よりセパレータを剥離して、粘着面をソーダライムガラス(1mm厚)に貼り合わせて固定し、「導電性フィルム/両面粘着シート/ソーダライムガラス」の層構造を有するサンプル片を作製した。
 上記サンプル片を85℃のオーブン中で5時間熱処理(耐熱性試験)を行った。この耐熱性試験後、サンプル片の接着界面(アクリル系粘着剤層と導電性フィルムとの界面)を目視にて観察し、気泡や浮きが全く見られなかった場合には○(発泡剥がれ無し、高温での接着信頼性良好)、気泡又は浮きが僅かでも見られた場合には×(発泡剥がれ有り、高温での接着信頼性不良)と判定した。なお、結果は、表1における「高温での接着信頼性」の欄に示した。
(5)段差吸収性
 PETフィルム(東洋紡績(株)製、商品名「A4100」、厚さ188μm)の片面上に、スクリーン印刷で厚さ4μmの黒色印刷を6回施し、図1に示すような額縁状の黒色印刷層(印刷層厚さ24μm、外形寸法:長さ60mm×幅42mm)を有するPETフィルム(サイズ:長さ60mm×幅42mm)を作製した。
 次いで、実施例および比較例で得られた両面粘着シート(サイズ:長さ60mm×幅42mm)の片方の粘着面を露出させ、該粘着面を上記黒色印刷層を有するPETフィルムの黒色印刷層を有する側の表面上に、ラミネータ(線圧:5kg/cm)で貼り合わせた。
 さらに、上記の黒色印刷層を有するPETフィルムと両面粘着シートの積層体からセパレータを剥離して、該積層体の粘着面側を、予めガラス基板上に貼り合わせたPETフィルム(東洋紡績(株)製、商品名「A4300」、厚さ125μm)(サイズ:長さ60mm×幅42mm)上に、ラミネータ(線圧:5kg/cm)で貼り合わせ、測定サンプル(図2参照)を作製した。
 上記測定サンプルを、オートクレーブを用いて、50℃、0.5MPaの条件下で15分間処理した後、ガラス基板側から目視にて段差部分の気泡、浮きの有無を観察した。段差部分に気泡、浮きが全くない場合には○(段差吸収性良好)、気泡又は浮きが少しでも生じている場合には×(段差吸収性不良)と判定した。なお、結果は、表1における「段差吸収性」の欄に示した。
(6)加湿濁りの有無(耐白化性)
 実施例、比較例で得られた両面粘着シートからセパレータを剥離し、該両面粘着シートの一方の粘着面をスライドガラス(松浪硝子(株)製、商品名「MICRO SLIDE GLASS」、品番「S」、厚さ1.3mm、ヘイズ0.1%、水縁磨)に貼り付け、他方の粘着面をPETフィルム(東洋紡績(株)製、商品名「A4100」、厚さ100μm、ヘイズ0.6%)に貼り付けて、「スライドガラス/両面粘着シート/PETフィルム」の構成を有する試験片を作製した。前記試験片のヘイズを、23℃、50%RHの環境下において、ヘイズメータ(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「HM-150」)を用いて測定した。
 次いで、上記試験片を60℃、95%RHの環境下(湿熱環境下)に120時間保存した後、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後の前記試験片のヘイズを、上記と同様に測定した。60℃、95%RHの環境下への保存前後のヘイズを比較し、「(湿熱環境下に保存後のヘイズ)-(湿熱環境下に保存前のヘイズ)」により算出されるヘイズの上昇幅が1.0%(%ポイント)未満の場合を○(加湿濁り無し、耐白化性良好)、保存前に対する保存後のヘイズの上昇幅が1.0%(%ポイント)以上の場合を×(加湿濁り有り、耐白化性不良)として判定した。なお、結果は、表1における「耐白化性」の欄に示した。
(7)耐腐食性(ITO抵抗値変化)
 実施例、比較例で得られた両面粘着シートの片方の粘着面を露出させ、PETフィルム(東レ(株)製、商品名「ルミラー S-10 #25」、厚さ25μm)を貼り合わせ、幅20mm×長さ50mmのサイズに切り出し、これを試験片とした。
 図3及び図4に示すように、導電性PETフィルム22(日東電工(株)製、商品名「エレクリスタ V-270 TFMP」)(サイズ:長さ70mm×幅25mm)の両端部に15mm幅で銀ペーストを塗布し、その導電面(ITO膜形成面22a側)にセパレータを剥離した上記試験片21の粘着面を貼り合わせて積層体(試験片21と導電性PETフィルム22との積層体)(抵抗値測定サンプル)を得た。これを23℃の環境下で24時間放置した後、抵抗値を測定し、これを「貼付直後の抵抗値」とした。次いで、上記積層体を60℃、95%RHの環境下で168時間放置した後、抵抗値を測定し、これを「湿熱後の抵抗値」とした。
 なお、上記の抵抗値は、日置電気(株)製「3540 ミリオームハイテスタ」を用いて、上記積層体の両端の銀ペースト部分22bに電極をつけて測定した。
 上述のように測定した「貼付直後の抵抗値」および「湿熱後の抵抗値」から、次式にて抵抗値変化率を算出した。
抵抗値変化率(%)=[{(湿熱後の抵抗値-貼付直後の抵抗値)/貼付直後の抵抗値} × 100]
 上記抵抗値変化率が、110%未満の場合を○(湿熱による抵抗値の上昇幅小さい(耐腐食性良好))、110%以上の場合を×(湿熱による抵抗値の上昇幅大きい(耐腐食性不良))と判定した。なお、結果は、表1における「耐腐食性」の欄に示した。
(8)加工性
 実施例および比較例で得られた両面粘着シートの片方の粘着面を露出させ、該粘着面をPETフィルム(東洋紡(株)製、商品名「A4100」、厚さ100μm)に貼り付けた。次いで、プレス機を用いてPETフィルム側から打ち抜いて、これを加工性評価用サンプル(「PETフィルム/両面粘着シート/セパレータ」の構成を有する)とした。該加工性評価用サンプルを、温度:60℃、相対湿度90%RHの雰囲気中に1週間放置した後、PETフィルムに対して反対側に位置するセパレータを剥離した時の糊欠けの有無を観察し、下記の評価基準により、加工性(加工適正)を評価した。なお、結果は、表1における「加工性」の欄に示した。
 加工性の評価基準
 ○(加工性良好):糊欠けが見られなかった。
 ×(加工性不良):糊欠けが見られた。
(9)粘着シートの全光線透過率、ヘイズ
 実施例および比較例で得られた両面粘着シートからセパレータを剥離し、これをスライドガラス(松浪硝子工業(株)製、商品名「S-1111」、全光線透過率91.8%、ヘイズ0.4%、b*値0.18)に貼り付け、ヘイズメータ「HM-150」(村上色彩技術研究所製)を用いて、可視光波長領域における全光線透過率(%)およびヘイズ(%)[(拡散透過率)/(全光線透過率) ×100]を測定した。
(10)粘着シートのb*
 実施例および比較例で得られた両面粘着シートからセパレータを剥離し、これをスライドガラス(松浪硝子工業(株)製、商品名「S-1111」、全光線透過率91.8%、ヘイズ0.4%、b*値0.18)に貼り付け、分光光度計(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「DOT-3C」)を用いて、L***表色系にてb*値を測定した。
(11)ヘイズの差
 実施例、比較例で得られた両面粘着シートからセパレータを剥離し、該両面粘着シートの一方の粘着面をスライドガラス(全光線透過率91.8%、ヘイズ0.4%)に貼り付け、他方の粘着面をPETフィルム(東洋紡績(株)製、商品名「A4100」、厚さ100μm、ヘイズ0.6%)に貼り付けて、「スライドガラス/両面粘着シート/PETフィルム」の構成を有する試験片を作製した。上記試験片のヘイズ(60℃、95%RHの環境下に保存する前のヘイズ)を、23℃、50%RHの環境下において、ヘイズメータ(村上色彩技術研究所製、商品名「HM-150」)を用いて測定した。結果を表2に示した。
 次いで、上記試験片を槽内の雰囲気を60℃、95%RHに設定した恒温恒湿機(エスペック(株)製、商品名「SH-261」)に入れて250時間保存し、その後、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した。上記試験片の、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後のヘイズ、取り出してから30分後のヘイズ、取り出してから1時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから3時間後のヘイズ、及び取り出してから6時間後のヘイズを上記と同様に測定した。結果を表2に示した。
 そして、上記60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存した後(23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後、30分後、1時間後、3時間後、6時間後)のヘイズのそれぞれと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に保存する前のヘイズとの差(ヘイズの差)を算出した。結果を表2に示した。

 表1及び表2の結果から明らかなように、本発明の粘着シート(実施例)は高い無色透明性を有し、耐白化性、高温での接着信頼性、段差吸収性に優れていた。また、高温高湿条件下に保存し、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した後(直後、30分後、1時間後、3時間後、6時間後)のヘイズの、保存前のヘイズに対する上昇幅が小さかった。さらに、加工性にも優れていた。これに対して、ホモポリマーのTgが-10℃以上のモノマーをアクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分として含有せず、60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存した後の水分率が低すぎる場合(比較例1)には、高温での接着信頼性および耐白化性に劣っていた。また、せん断貯蔵弾性率が高すぎる場合(比較例2)には、段差吸収性に劣っていた。さらに、プラスチックフィルム基材を有しない場合(比較例3)には、加工性に劣っていた。さらに、プラスチックフィルム基材の厚さが厚すぎる場合(比較例4)には、段差吸収性に劣っていた。

 本発明の光学用粘着シートは、光学部材等の貼り合わせや、光学製品の製造等に用いられる。このような用途に本発明の粘着シートを用いると、製品(タッチパネル等)の視認性や外観の妨げとなり得る上記の気泡や浮きの発生、白濁化等の現象が抑制されるため、美しい仕上がりの製品が得られる。

Claims (6)

  1.  全光線透過率が88%以上、内部ヘイズが1.5%以下、b*値が-0.5~0.5、厚さが12~75μmであるプラスチックフィルム基材の少なくとも片面側に、ホモポリマーを形成した際のガラス転移温度が-10℃以上であるモノマーを必須のモノマー成分として形成されたアクリル系ポリマーを含有し、かつ、23℃におけるせん断貯蔵弾性率が0.8×105~5.0×105Paであるアクリル系粘着剤層を有し、60℃、95%RHの環境下に120時間保存した後の水分率が0.65重量%以上であることを特徴とする光学用粘着シート。
  2.  イオンクロマトグラフ法で測定される、前記光学用粘着シートより純水で100℃、45分の条件で抽出されたアクリル酸イオンおよびメタクリル酸イオンの合計量が、前記アクリル系粘着剤層の単位面積あたり20ng/cm2以下である請求項1に記載の光学用粘着シート。
  3.  前記アクリル系粘着剤層のゲル分率が40~95%である請求項1又は2に記載の光学用粘着シート。
  4.  60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存し、23℃、50%RHの環境下に取り出した直後のヘイズ、取り出してから30分後のヘイズ、取り出してから1時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから3時間後のヘイズ、取り出してから6時間後のヘイズのそれぞれと、60℃、95%RHの環境下に250時間保存する前のヘイズとの差が、いずれも7%未満である請求項1~3のいずれかの項に記載の光学用粘着シート。
  5.  前記アクリル系ポリマーが、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量%)に対して、水酸基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの含有量が5~35重量%であるモノマー成分より形成されたアクリル系ポリマーである請求項1~4のいずれかの項に記載の光学用粘着シート。
  6.  前記アクリル系ポリマーが、アクリル系ポリマーを形成するモノマー成分全量(100重量%)に対して、下記式(I)で表され重合可能な官能基を有するアミド化合物の含有量が5~20重量%であるモノマー成分より形成されたアクリル系ポリマーである請求項1~5のいずれかの項に記載の光学用粘着シート。
