Abstract
光源から放射された光を被検レンズに入射させ、当該被検レンズを透過した光を検出して波面収差を測定する波面収差測定方法であって、被検レンズの絞りを開放した状態で波面収差を測定する工程と、被検レンズの絞りを絞った状態で、当該被検レンズの瞳中心位置を測定する工程と、瞳中心位置を原点として波面収差を多項式展開する工程と、を有する波面測定精度を向上させた波面収差測定方法、及び、波面収差測定機を提供する。
Description
本発明は、波面収差測定方法及び波面収差測定機に関する。
一般的にカメラの撮影レンズなどの結像光学系(以下、単に「光学系」と呼ぶ)の光学設計は、波長が400nmから700nm程度のいわゆる可視光の領域での収差が最良になるように最適化を行っている。例えば、ヘリウムランプ、水素ランプ、水銀ランプから放射される光に含まれるd線(波長587.6nm)、C線(波長656.3nm)、g線(波長435.8nm)などの輝線の波長を用い、これらの波長での収差のバランスを調整して、白色光で結像させた場合に最高の性能が得られるように最適化している。また、従来、このような光学系を製造する際には、主に線像分布関数(LSF)から伝達関数(MTF)などを求めて性能を測定することにより品質の管理が行われてきた(例えば、特開昭58-092927号公報参照)。
さらに最近では、さらなる品質の向上を目指して、波面収差を測定して品質管理が行われつつある。波面収差の測定方式としては、被検レンズを透過した光と、所定形状の参照面から反射した光とを干渉させ、得られた干渉縞をCCDなどの2次元撮像素子により検出し、この2次元撮像素子からの出力信号を演算して光学系の瞳上の波面収差を求める干渉計方式の他に、被検レンズを通過した後の波面を微小なマイクロレンズ(矩形レンズ)が2次元的に多数配置されたマイクロレンズアレーに入射させて波面を分割し、マイクロレンズアレーによって多数のスポット像をCCD等の2次元撮像素子上に形成し、この2次元撮像素子で検出されたスポット像の横ズレから波面の局所的な傾斜を演算して求め、全体の波面収差を求めるシャック・ハルトマン(Shack-Hartmann)方式が注目されている(例えば、特開2005-098933号公報参照)。このシャック・ハルトマン方式の波面収差測定は、干渉計方式に比べて個々のマイクロレンズの大きさで横分解能が制限されるが、測定のダイナミックレンジが非常に広いので、カメラの撮影レンズのように、残存収差量の大きい光学系の波面収差測定に適しているといえる。
一般的な光学系は、光軸から角度を持った軸外の光線に対しては、いわゆる口径食のために、射出瞳の形状がけられて円形にならず、波面収差の測定値を極座標の直交多項式、たとえばツェルニケ多項式で展開する場合に座標の原点の位置精度が低く、波面測定の信頼性が低下するという課題があった。半導体素子等を製造するためのフォトリソグラフィー工程に用いる投影光学系であっても、わずかながら口径食があって瞳が円形になっていないものがある。口径食が数%程度と微量な場合は、例えば特開2007-250723号公報で開示されているように、単に瞳に内接する円を求めて関数展開を行うことがあるが、一般的に写真用レンズの多くは非常に大きい口径食を持ち、時には瞳の短径方向の大きさが、長径方向の半分以下になることも珍しくなく、このような手法は適用できない。
また、MTFの測定と異なり、波面収差の測定に用いられる光源には、できるだけスペクトル幅の狭い光源が望ましい。スペクトル幅が広がりを持つようになると、被検レンズの色収差の影響を受け、正確な測定ができなくなる。さらに、写真レンズのような、可視光で用いられる光学系の検査は、波長毎に収差の振る舞いが大きく異なるため、可視波長域内の短波長から長波長まで多くの波長で測定を行う必要がある。このため、干渉フィルターなどの狭帯化素子を用いて、多くの波長で測定ができるような構造にしたり、さらには高価なレーザー光源を何種類も準備したりと、検査装置が大型化、高価格化してきた。
本発明はこのような課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、波面測定精度を向上させた波面収差測定方法、及び、波面収差測定機を提供することを目的とする。
本発明の第1の態様による波面収差測定方法は、光源から放射された光を被検レンズに入射させ、当該被検レンズを透過した光を検出して波面収差を測定する波面収差測定方法であって、被検レンズの絞りを開放した状態で波面収差を測定する工程と、被検レンズの絞りを絞った状態で、当該被検レンズの瞳中心位置を測定する工程と、瞳中心位置を原点として波面収差を多項式展開する工程と、を有する。
このような波面収差測定方法において、前記被検レンズの絞りを開放した状態で前記波面収差を測定する前記工程の後に、前記被検レンズの前記絞りを絞った状態で当該被検レンズの瞳中心位置を測定する工程を行うか、又は、前記被検レンズの前記絞りを絞った状態で、当該被検レンズの瞳中心位置を測定する工程の後に、前記被検レンズの絞りを開放した状態で前記波面収差を測定する工程を行っても良い。
このような波面収差測定方法において、多項式は、ツェルニケ多項式であることが好ましい。
また、このような波面収差測定方法において、光源から放射される光は、単色光若しくは半値幅が10nm以下の準単色光であることが好ましい。
また、このような波面収差測定方法において、光源から放射される光の波長は、400nmから700nmまでの可視光であることが好ましい。
また、本発明の第2の態様による波面収差測定機は、光源から放射されて被検レンズを透過した光により形成される当該被検レンズの瞳像を検出する2次元撮像素子と、この2次元撮像素子で検出された瞳像から上述の波面収差測定方法により被検レンズの波面収差を算出する情報処理装置と、を有する。
このような波面収差測定機は、複数のマイクロレンズが2次元的に配置され、被検レンズを透過した光をマイクロレンズの各々を透過させて分割させて2次元撮像素子上に瞳のスポット像を結像させるマイクロレンズアレーを有し、情報処理装置における波面収差の算出方式は、2次元撮像素子で検出されたスポット像の横ズレから波面の局所的な傾斜を演算して求め、被検レンズ全体の波面収差を求めるシャック・ハルトマン(Shack-Hartmann)方式であることが好ましい。
また、このような波面収差測定機において、情報処理装置は、被検レンズの絞りの開閉を制御することが好ましい。
本発明の波面収差測定方法及び波面収差測定機を以上のように構成すると、波面収差の測定精度を向上させることができる。
本発明の第3の態様による波面収差測定方法は、光源から放射された光を被検レンズに入射させ、当該被検レンズを透過した光を検出して波面収差を測定する波面収差測定方法であって、光源から放射される光の波長を離散的に変化させ、当該離散的な複数の波長毎に波面収差を測定する工程と、離散的な複数の波長毎に測定された波面収差を多項式フィッティングして、当該波長毎の波面収差係数を算出する工程と、離散的な複数の波長毎の波面収差係数を、当該波面収差係数の種類毎に多項式フィッティングして、フィッティング係数を算出する工程と、このフィッティング係数を用いて、波面収差を測定していない波長での波面収差係数を算出する工程と、を有する。
このような第3の態様による波面収差測定方法のフィッティング係数を算出する工程において、離散的な複数の波長毎の波面収差係数を多項式フィッティングするために用いる多項式は、分母に波長を含む項を少なくとも一項有していることが好ましい。
また、このような第3の態様による波面収差測定方法の波面収差係数を算出する工程において、波面収差係数を多項式フィッティングするために用いる多項式は、ツェルニケ多項式を含む直交関数であることが好ましい。
また、このような第3の態様による波面収差測定方法において、光源から放射される光は、単色光若しくは半値幅が10nm以下の準単色光であることが好ましい。
また、このような第3の態様による波面収差測定方法において、離散的な複数の波長は、3波長以上であることが好ましい。
さらに、このような第3の態様による波面収差測定方法において、離散的な複数の波長のうち、最も短い波長は、500nm以下の可視光であることが好ましく、最も長い波長は、600nm以上の可視光であることが好ましく、全体として、400nmから700nmまでの可視光であることが好ましい。
また、本発明の第4の態様による波面収差測定機は、光源から放射されて被検レンズを透過した光により形成される当該被検レンズの瞳像を検出する2次元撮像素子と、この2次元撮像素子で検出された瞳像から第3の態様の波面収差測定方法のいずれかにより被検レンズの波面収差を算出する情報処理装置と、を有する。
このような第4の態様による波面収差測定機は、複数のマイクロレンズが2次元的に配置され、被検レンズを透過した光をマイクロレンズの各々を透過させて分割させて2次元撮像素子上に瞳のスポット像を結像させるマイクロレンズアレーを有し、情報処理装置における波面収差の算出方式は、2次元撮像素子で検出されたスポット像の横ズレから波面の局所的な傾斜を演算して求め、被検レンズ全体の波面収差を求めるシャック・ハルトマン(Shack-Hartmann)方式であることが好ましい。
本発明の第3及び第4の態様による波面収差測定方法及び波面収差測定機を以上のように構成すると、広い波長域で使用する光学系であっても、測定される波面収差の精度を向上させることができる。
本発明の第5の態様によれば、複数のレンズ部品を有するレンズ系を、上記第2の態様による波面収差測定機を用いて測定し、測定結果によりこのレンズ系の良否を判定する方法を提供する。
本発明の第6の態様によれば、複数のレンズ部品を有するレンズ系を、上記第4の態様による波面収差測定機を用いて測定し、測定結果によりこのレンズ系の良否を判定する方法を提供する。
(第1実施形態)
以下、本発明の第1実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。まず、図1を用いて、本実施形態に係る波面収差測定機の構成について説明する。この波面収差測定機SHは、被検レンズ1側から順に、リレーレンズRL、複数のマイクロレンズ(例えば、矩形レンズ)が2次元的に多数配置されたマイクロレンズアレーML、及び、CCDなどからなる2次元撮像素子3と、2次元撮像素子3から出力された電気信号から波面収差データを取得する演算機4と、波面収差測定処理のプログラムを記憶したコンピュータなどからなる情報処理装置5と、から構成される。なお、演算機4で行われる処理の一部またはすべてを、情報処理装置5に行わせても良い。
以下、本発明の第1実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。まず、図1を用いて、本実施形態に係る波面収差測定機の構成について説明する。この波面収差測定機SHは、被検レンズ1側から順に、リレーレンズRL、複数のマイクロレンズ(例えば、矩形レンズ)が2次元的に多数配置されたマイクロレンズアレーML、及び、CCDなどからなる2次元撮像素子3と、2次元撮像素子3から出力された電気信号から波面収差データを取得する演算機4と、波面収差測定処理のプログラムを記憶したコンピュータなどからなる情報処理装置5と、から構成される。なお、演算機4で行われる処理の一部またはすべてを、情報処理装置5に行わせても良い。
被検レンズ1を挟んで波面収差測定機SHの反対側には、図示しない光源が配置されており、また、リレーレンズRLは、その物体側焦点が被検レンズ1の像面IMと略一致するように配置されている。さらに、マイクロレンズアレーMLを構成する各マイクロレンズの像側焦点と、2次元撮像素子3の受光面とが略一致するように配置されている。
被検レンズ1に、不図示の光源から放射された光束BMを入射させると、被検レンズ1から射出した光束は像面IMで結像した後、その後方に配置されたリレーレンズRLに入射する。さらにリレーレンズRLを射出した、おおよそ平行な光束は、マイクロレンズアレーMLに入射し、入射光束径に応じた大きさのスポット群を2次元撮像素子3の受光面上に形成する。ここで、被検レンズ1の瞳とマイクロレンズアレーMLの入射面は共役関係にある。また、被検レンズ1に入射する光束BMは、無限遠物点を想定して平行光でも良いし、有限距離物点を想定して発散光でも良い。
波面収差測定機SHを以上のように構成すると、2次元撮像素子3の上に形成された個々のスポット像は、被検レンズ1に収差があると横ズレを生じるので、この横ズレ量を測定することで、演算機4で波面の局所傾斜が計算でき、さらにこれらをつなぎあわせることで、被検レンズ1の波面収差を求めることができる。
なお、不図示の光源としては、ハロゲンランプなどのように連続光を放射する光源、もしくは、水銀ランプ、ヘリウムランプなどのように輝線を放射する光源を、干渉フィルターのような波長選択光学素子を用いて狭帯化したものでも良い。また、さらにスペクトル幅の狭いレーザー光源を用いても良い。なお、この光源から放射される光束BMは、単色光若しくは半値幅が10nm以下の準単色光であることが望ましく、波面収差を測定するための光の波長は、400nmから700nmまでの可視光であることが望ましい。
被検レンズ1には絞り2が設けられており、この絞り2は被検レンズ1のFナンバーを変更させる絞りである。この絞り2は、いくつもの絞り羽根を組み合わせた可変絞りでも、被検レンズ1の外部から抜き差しのできる円形開口でもよい。図2に、被検レンズ1の絞り2を絞った場合の波面収差測定機SHの構成を示す。被検レンズ1に入射させる光束BMの径は同じだが、絞り2で光線の径を制限すると、最終的に2次元撮像素子3の上に形成されるスポット群の大きさは小さくなる。図3A,図3Bに、マイクロレンズアレーMLが2次元撮像素子3の上に形成するスポット群を示す。このスポット群の形状は、被検レンズ1の瞳の形状を表している。ここで、図3Aには、被検レンズ1の絞り2を絞らない場合のスポット群を示し、図3Bには絞り2を絞った場合のスポット群を示している。光束BMが光軸上から出射され像高0の場合は、絞り2が開放されていても2次元撮像素子3上のスポット群、すなわち瞳の形状は略円形になるが、光束BMが軸外から出射された場合は口径食のために、けられが生じてスポット群の形状は図3Aに示すように略円形ではなくなる。一方、口径食の影響を受けなくなるまで絞り2を絞ることで、瞳形状は図3Bに示すように略円形になる。
光線CRは、被検レンズ1の絞り2の中央を通る光、すなわち主光線を表す。この光線CRは、絞り2が完全に閉じられない限り、常に撮像素子3の上に到達する。従って、口径食の影響を受けなくなるまで絞り2を絞った時に、撮像素子3の上に形成された略円形のスポット群の中心が主光線の位置、すなわち瞳中心であるといえる。
上述の図3Aに示すように、2次元撮像素子3上に形成されるスポット群が口径食の影響を受け、円形形状でないときは、このスポット群における瞳中心の正確な位置を決定することは困難である。したがって、これらのスポット群から波面収差を求め、ツェルニケ多項式のような極座標の関数に展開する場合、瞳中心の位置の信頼性が低いので、波面収差を関数展開した時の誤差となる。反対に、図3Bの状態では口径食の影響が無いので、スポット群の形状は略円形となり、演算機4で瞳中心を容易に求めることができる。
図4に、本実施形態に係る波面収差測定機SHにおける波面収差測定処理の動作フローチャートS101を示す。なお、この処理は、上述のように情報処理装置5で実行される。最初に、ステップS111として被検レンズ1の絞り2を絞らない状態で波面を測定する。測定した波面は情報処理装置5に接続された不図示の記憶装置に記憶される。次に、ステップS112として、被検レンズ1の絞り2を絞って、Fナンバーを大きく、開口数を小さくする。絞り2を絞る動作は、波面収差測定機SHのオペレーターが、被検レンズ1の絞り2を手動で操作しても良いし、図1等に示すように、例えば、情報処理装置5のような外部装置から電気的に操作しても良い。また、絞り機構を持たない被検レンズに対しては、被検レンズの外部から円形開口を挿入しても良い。このように絞り2を絞った状態で、ステップS113として、演算機4で、口径食の影響を受けずに円形になった瞳の中心を求める。そして、ステップS114として、前記の情報処理装置5に接続された記憶装置に記憶された波面を、ステップS113で求めた瞳の中心位置を原点にして、瞳に外接するようにツェルニケ多項式などの関数を用いて展開する。
以上のように、波面収差の測定において、絞り2を絞り略円形のスポット群から瞳の中心を求める工程を加えることで、口径食のために円形ではなくなった瞳形状でも、波面収差測定と多項式展開の信頼性を向上することが可能になる。なお、図4に示す処理では、最初に被検レンズ1の絞り2を絞らずに波面を測定し、その後に絞り2を絞って瞳の中心を求めたが、先に絞り2を絞って瞳中心を求めてから絞り2を開いて波面収差を測定しても良い。
ここで、ツェルニケ多項式に関して基本的な事項を説明する。座標系として極座標(ρ,θ)を用い、直交関数系としてツェルニケの円筒関数Zn(ρ,θ)を用いると、波面収差W(ρ,θ)はツェルニケの円筒関数Zn(ρ,θ)により、次式(a)のように表される。ここで、nは多項式の次数を表し、ρは瞳半径を1とした規格化半径を表し、θは瞳中心の周りの動径角を表し、Anは円筒関数Zn(ρ,θ)の係数を表す。

以上の通り、本実施の形態に係る波面収差測定機SHによれば、口径食によって瞳が略円形でない被検レンズ1であっても、波面収差を多項式展開した際に求まる波面収差係数を、より正確に求めることができる。なお、このようにして測定された波面収差を、被検レンズ1の調整や光学素子の表面加工などの内容に反映させても良い。

以上の通り、本実施の形態に係る波面収差測定機SHによれば、口径食によって瞳が略円形でない被検レンズ1であっても、波面収差を多項式展開した際に求まる波面収差係数を、より正確に求めることができる。なお、このようにして測定された波面収差を、被検レンズ1の調整や光学素子の表面加工などの内容に反映させても良い。
次に、図5を参照して、複数のレンズ部品を有するレンズ系を、本第1実施の形態に係る波面収差測定機SHを用いて測定し、測定結果によりこのレンズ系の良否を判定する方法の概略を説明する。
先ず、レンズ鏡筒内に複数のレンズ部品を配置して、レンズ系を組み立てる。組み立てたレンズ系の波面収差を、上述した図1に示す波面収差測定機SHを用いて測定する。測定結果により組み立てたレンズ系の良否を判定する。
(第2実施形態)
以下、本発明の好ましい第2実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。まず、図6を用いて、本実施形態に係る波面収差測定機の構成について説明する。この波面収差測定機2SHは、被検レンズL側から順に、リレーレンズRL、複数のマイクロレンズ(例えば、矩形レンズ)が2次元的に多数配置されたマイクロレンズアレーML、及び、CCDなどからなる2次元撮像素子201と、2次元撮像素子201から出力された電気信号から波面収差データを取得する演算機202と、波面収差測定処理のプログラムを記憶したコンピュータなどからなる情報処理装置203と、から構成される。なお、演算機202で行われる処理の一部またはすべてを、情報処理装置203に行わせても良い。
以下、本発明の好ましい第2実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。まず、図6を用いて、本実施形態に係る波面収差測定機の構成について説明する。この波面収差測定機2SHは、被検レンズL側から順に、リレーレンズRL、複数のマイクロレンズ(例えば、矩形レンズ)が2次元的に多数配置されたマイクロレンズアレーML、及び、CCDなどからなる2次元撮像素子201と、2次元撮像素子201から出力された電気信号から波面収差データを取得する演算機202と、波面収差測定処理のプログラムを記憶したコンピュータなどからなる情報処理装置203と、から構成される。なお、演算機202で行われる処理の一部またはすべてを、情報処理装置203に行わせても良い。
被検レンズLを挟んで波面収差測定機2SHの反対側には、図示しない光源が配置されており、また、リレーレンズRLは、その物体側焦点が被検レンズLの像面IMと略一致するように配置されている。さらに、マイクロレンズアレーMLを構成する各マイクロレンズの像側焦点と、2次元撮像素子201の受光面とが略一致するように配置されている。
被検レンズLに、不図示の光源から放射された光束BMを入射させると、被検レンズLから射出した光束は像面IMで結像した後、その後方に配置されたリレーレンズRLに入射する。さらにリレーレンズRLを射出した、おおよそ平行な光束は、マイクロレンズアレーMLに入射し、入射光束径に応じた大きさのスポット像を2次元撮像素子201の受光面上に形成する。ここで、被検レンズLの瞳とマイクロレンズアレーMLの入射面は共役関係にある。また、被検レンズLに入射する光束BMは、無限遠物点を想定して平行光でも良いし、有限距離物点を想定して発散光でも良い。
波面収差測定機2SHを以上のように構成すると、2次元撮像素子201の上に形成された個々のスポット像は、被検レンズLに収差があると横ズレを生じるので、この横ズレ量を測定することで、演算機202で波面の局所傾斜が計算でき、さらにこれらをつなぎあわせることで、被検レンズLの波面収差を求めることができる。
不図示の光源としては、ハロゲンランプなどのように連続光を放射する光源、もしくは、水銀ランプ、ヘリウムランプなどのように輝線を放射する光源を、干渉フィルターのような波長選択光学素子を用いて狭帯化したものでも良い。また、さらにスペクトル幅の狭いレーザー光源を用いても良い。なお、この光源から放射される光束BMは、単色光若しくは半値幅が10nm以下の準単色光であることが望ましい。
図7に、本第2実施形態に係る波面収差測定機2SHにおける波面収差測定処理の動作フローチャートS201を示す。なお、この処理は、上述のように情報処理装置203で実行される。最初に、ステップS211として被検レンズLの波面収差を測定する。測定した波面は情報処理装置203に接続された不図示の記憶装置に記憶される。次に、ステップS212として、ステップS211で求めた波面収差を、例えばツェルニケ多項式にフィッティングして波面収差係数を算出し、情報処理装置203に接続された不図示の記憶装置に記憶する。
ツェルニケ多項式に関して基本的な事項は前述したのでここでは説明を省略する。
次に、ステップS213として、測定波長を変更し、ステップS211に戻って波面収差を測定する。波長の変更は、干渉フィルターのような狭帯化素子を交換しても良いし、異なる波長のレーザー光源と切り替えても良い。そして、所定の種類の波長での測定が終了したら、ステップS214として、前記の情報処理装置203に接続された記憶装置に記憶された各波長の波面収差係数を、係数の種類毎に多項式フィッティングして、フィッティング係数を算出し、情報処理装置3に接続された不図示の記憶装置に記憶する。
最後に、ステップS215として、ステップS214で求めたフィッティング係数を用いて、ステップS211で測定していない波長での波面収差係数を算出する。
最後に、ステップS215として、ステップS214で求めたフィッティング係数を用いて、ステップS211で測定していない波長での波面収差係数を算出する。
より具体的な例として、表1に示すレンズ系を用いて説明する。表中の「面データ」において、物面は物体面、面番号は物体側からの面の番号、rは曲率半径、dは面間隔、ndはd線(波長λ=587.6nm)における屈折率、νdはd線におけるアッベ数、像面は像面Iをそれぞれ表している。なお、空気の屈折率nd=1.000000は記載を省略している。また、曲率半径rにおける「∞」は平面を示している。
また、「非球面データ」において、非球面は以下の式(b)で表される。

この式(b)において、光軸に垂直な方向の高さをy、高さyにおける光軸方向の変位量をX(y)、基準球面の曲率半径(近軸曲率半径)をr、円錐係数をκ、n次の非球面係数をBnとする。なお、「E-n」は「×10-n」を示し、例えば「1.234E-05」は「1.234×10-5」を示す。また、非球面は、「面データ」において、面番号の右側に「*」を付して示している。

この式(b)において、光軸に垂直な方向の高さをy、高さyにおける光軸方向の変位量をX(y)、基準球面の曲率半径(近軸曲率半径)をr、円錐係数をκ、n次の非球面係数をBnとする。なお、「E-n」は「×10-n」を示し、例えば「1.234E-05」は「1.234×10-5」を示す。また、非球面は、「面データ」において、面番号の右側に「*」を付して示している。
さらに、「各種データ」において、fはレンズ系全体の焦点距離、FNOはFナンバー、ωは半画角(単位:度)、Yは像高、及び、TLは無限遠合焦状態における第11レンズの物体側の面から像面Iまでのレンズ全長をそれぞれ表している。
なお、以下の全ての諸元値において、掲載されている焦点距離f、曲率半径r、面間隔dその他の長さ等の単位は、特記の無い場合一般に「mm」が使われるが、光学系は比例拡大または比例縮小しても同等の光学性能が得られるので、これに限られるものではない。また、単位は「mm」に限定されること無く他の適当な単位を用いることもできる。

[第1実施例]
以下の表2に、第1実施例として、表1に示す光学系の、像高0mmと15mmでのh線(波長λ=404.7nm)からC線(波長λ=656.3nm)までの6波長での波面収差係数を示す。ここで、波長の単位はnmである。また、波面収差係数の例として、像高0mmではツェルニケ多項式の第9項(球面収差)、像高15mmでは第5項(非点収差)の数値をμmの単位で示す。
以下の表2に、第1実施例として、表1に示す光学系の、像高0mmと15mmでのh線(波長λ=404.7nm)からC線(波長λ=656.3nm)までの6波長での波面収差係数を示す。ここで、波長の単位はnmである。また、波面収差係数の例として、像高0mmではツェルニケ多項式の第9項(球面収差)、像高15mmでは第5項(非点収差)の数値をμmの単位で示す。

式(1)は、定数項C0と波長λの2乗に正比例する項と、波長の2N乗に反比例する項の線形結合から構成され、式(2)は定数項C0と波長λの(2N-1)乗に正比例する項の線形結合から構成されている。ここでNは整数を表す。また、C0からC4までは各項の係数であり、前記のステップS214で算出される係数である。
以下の表3に、表2で示される波面収差係数を、式(1)と式(2)でフィッティングした場合のC0からC4までのフィッティング係数の値を示す。

[第2実施例]
次に、第2実施例として、フィッティングを行う波面収差係数の波長を6波長から4波長に減らした場合の例を示す。4波長は波長の短い方から、h線(波長λ=404.7nm)、g線(波長λ=435.8nm)、e線(波長λ=546.1nm)、及び、C線(波長λ=656.3nm)である。用いた光学系は上述の表1に示されるもので、波面収差係数も表2で示されたものを用いる。
次に、第2実施例として、フィッティングを行う波面収差係数の波長を6波長から4波長に減らした場合の例を示す。4波長は波長の短い方から、h線(波長λ=404.7nm)、g線(波長λ=435.8nm)、e線(波長λ=546.1nm)、及び、C線(波長λ=656.3nm)である。用いた光学系は上述の表1に示されるもので、波面収差係数も表2で示されたものを用いる。
まず、図10に、波長数が4波長の場合の、表2で示された像高0mmのZ9の波面収差係数を、式(1)と式(2)でフィッティングした残渣を示し、図11に、波長数が4波長の場合の、表2で示された像高15mmのZ5の波面収差係数を、式(1)と式(2)でフィッティングした残渣を示す。
また、以下の表4に、波長数が4波長の場合の、表2で示される波面収差係数を、式(1)と式(2)でフィッティングした場合のC0からC4までのフィッティング係数を示す。

さらに、第3実施例として、フィッティングを行う波面収差の波長を6波長から3波長に減らした場合の例を示す。3波長は波長の短い方から、g線(波長λ=435.8nm)、e線(波長λ=546.1nm)、及び、C線(波長λ=656.3nm)である。用いた光学系は上述の表1に示されるもので、波面収差係数も表2で示されたものを用いる。
さらに、第3実施例として、フィッティングを行う波面収差の波長を6波長から3波長に減らした場合の例を示す。3波長は波長の短い方から、g線(波長λ=435.8nm)、e線(波長λ=546.1nm)、及び、C線(波長λ=656.3nm)である。用いた光学系は上述の表1に示されるもので、波面収差係数も表2で示されたものを用いる。
まず、図12に、波長数が3波長の場合の、表2で示された像高0mmのZ9の波面収差係数を、式(1)と式(2)でフィッティングした残渣を示し、図13、波長数が3波長の場合の、表2で示された像高15mmのZ5の波面収差係数を、式(1)と式(2)でフィッティングした残渣を示す。
また、下の表5に、波長数が3波長の場合の、表2で示される波面収差係数を、式(1)と式(2)でフィッティングした場合のC0からC4までのフィッティング係数を示す。

以上、第1~第3実施例における図8~図13に示したように、フィッティングに用いる多項式には、分母に波長を含む項が少なくとも1項含まれている方、すなわち、多項式(1)を用いる方が、フィッティング残渣が少ないことがわかる。一般的に、可視光のように広い波長域での収差の振る舞いは、長波長側に比べて短波長側では単位波長あたりの収差変動が非常に大きく、波長方向の非対称性が大きい。このため、フィッティングに用いる多項式には、波長に反比例するような、分母に波長を含む項を用いると、フィッティング残渣を小さくできる。
なお、本発明の一実施形態として式(1)及び式(2)のように、5項から構成される多項式の例を示したが、項数はこれに限定されるものではない。また、式(1)で示したように、各項の分母は波長に関する単項式から構成されているが、多項式であっても構わない。
また、上述のように、被検レンズLの波面収差を測定するための離散的な複数の波長は、3波長以上であることが望ましく、これらの波長のうち、最も短い波長は、500nm以下の可視光、最も長い波長は、600nm以上の可視光であることが望ましく、全体として、400nmから700nmまでの可視光であることが望ましい。
次に、図14を参照して、複数のレンズ部品を有するレンズ系を、第2実施の形態に係る波面収差測定機2SHを用いて測定し、測定結果によりこのレンズ系の良否を判定する方法の概略を説明する。
先ず、レンズ鏡筒内に複数のレンズ部品を配置して、レンズ系を組み立てる。組み立てたレンズ系の波面収差を、上述した図6に示す波面収差測定機2SHを用いて測定する。測定結果により組み立てたレンズ系の良否を判定する。
Claims (21)
- 光源から放射された光を被検レンズに入射させ、当該被検レンズを透過した前記光を検出して波面収差を測定する波面収差測定方法であって、
前記被検レンズの絞りを開放した状態で前記波面収差を測定する工程と、
前記被検レンズの前記絞りを絞った状態で、当該被検レンズの瞳中心位置を測定する工程と、
前記瞳中心位置を原点として前記波面収差を多項式展開する工程と、を有することを特徴とする波面収差測定方法。 - 前記被検レンズの絞りを開放した状態で前記波面収差を測定する前記工程の後に、前記被検レンズの前記絞りを絞った状態で当該被検レンズの瞳中心位置を測定する工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 前記被検レンズの前記絞りを絞った状態で、当該被検レンズの瞳中心位置を測定する工程の後に、前記被検レンズの絞りを開放した状態で前記波面収差を測定する工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 前記多項式は、ツェルニケ多項式であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 前記光源から放射される前記光は、単色光若しくは半値幅が10nm以下の準単色光であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 前記光源から放射される前記光の波長は、400nmから700nmまでの可視光であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 光源から放射されて被検レンズを透過した光により形成される当該被検レンズの瞳像を検出する2次元撮像素子と、
前記2次元撮像素子で検出された前記瞳像から請求項1に記載の波面収差測定方法により前記被検レンズの前記波面収差を算出する情報処理装置と、を有することを特徴とする波面収差測定機。 - 複数のマイクロレンズが2次元的に配置され、前記被検レンズを透過した光を前記マイクロレンズの各々を透過させて分割させて前記2次元撮像素子上に前記瞳のスポット像を結像させるマイクロレンズアレーを有し、
前記情報処理装置における前記波面収差の算出方式は、前記2次元撮像素子で検出された前記スポット像の横ズレから波面の局所的な傾斜を演算して求め、前記被検レンズ全体の前記波面収差を求めるシャック・ハルトマン(Shack-Hartmann)方式であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の波面収差測定機。 - 前記情報処理装置は、前記被検レンズの前記絞りの開閉を制御することを特徴とする請求項7または8に記載の波面収差測定機。
- 複数のレンズ部品を配置して、レンズ系を組み立て、組み立てたレンズ系の波面収差を、請求項7に記載の波面収差測定機を用いて測定し、測定結果により前記組み立てたレンズ系の良否を判定することを特徴とするレンズ系製造方法。
- 光源から放射された光を被検レンズに入射させ、当該被検レンズを透過した前記光を検出して波面収差を測定する波面収差測定方法であって、
前記光源から放射される前記光の波長を離散的に変化させ、当該離散的な複数の波長毎に前記波面収差を測定する工程と、
前記離散的な複数の波長毎に測定された前記波面収差を多項式フィッティングして、当該波長毎の波面収差係数を算出する工程と、
前記離散的な複数の波長毎の前記波面収差係数を、当該波面収差係数の種類毎に多項式フィッティングして、フィッティング係数を算出する工程と、
前記フィッティング係数を用いて、前記波面収差を測定していない波長での前記波面収差係数を算出する工程と、を有することを特徴とする波面収差測定方法。 - 前記フィッティング係数を算出する工程において、
前記離散的な複数の波長毎の前記波面収差係数を多項式フィッティングするために用いる前記多項式は、分母に波長を含む項を少なくとも一項有していることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の波面収差測定方法。 - 前記波面収差係数を算出する工程において、
前記波面収差係数を多項式フィッティングするために用いる前記多項式は、ツェルニケ多項式を含む直交関数であることを特徴とする請求項11または12に記載の波面収差測定方法。 - 前記光源から放射される前記光は、単色光若しくは半値幅が10nm以下の準単色光であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 前記離散的な複数の波長は、3波長以上であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 前記離散的な複数の波長のうち、最も短い波長は、500nm以下の可視光であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 前記離散的な複数の波長のうち、最も長い波長は、600nm以上の可視光であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 前記離散的な複数の波長は、400nmから700nmまでの可視光であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の波面収差測定方法。
- 光源から放射されて被検レンズを透過した光により形成される当該被検レンズの瞳像を検出する2次元撮像素子と、
前記2次元撮像素子で検出された前記瞳像から請求項11に記載の波面収差測定方法により前記被検レンズの前記波面収差を算出する情報処理装置と、を有することを特徴とする波面収差測定機。 - 複数のマイクロレンズが2次元的に配置され、前記被検レンズを透過した光を前記マイクロレンズの各々を透過させて分割させて前記2次元撮像素子上に前記瞳のスポット像を結像させるマイクロレンズアレーを有し、
