- the link and the lock mechanism are constructed to support the table body obliquely downward from the lower side of the table body toward the arm. There is an inconvenience that the space below the table body cannot be used effectively when the table is exposed to the lower side and the table is opened to the use position. In addition, the entire apparatus is enlarged, and a space for deploying the link and the lock mechanism is required.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a folding table that has a simple structure, a small number of parts, a reduced thickness, a reduced size, and a reduced weight, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. Another object of the present invention is that there is no need for a space for a member such as a lock mechanism to be deployed when switching between the use position and the storage position, and the use of the space under the table is ensured by ensuring locking during use.
- the object is to provide a folding table.
- Still another object of the present invention is to provide a folding table using a highly versatile basic frame by reducing the thickness of the basic frame and simplifying the structure and reducing the influence on the design.

- the locking means for preventing the rotation of the table body supported rotatably at the one end side is provided at the connection position between the table body and the support member, so that the table body as in the conventional folding table.
- the members that support the link and the member of the locking means are not exposed to the lower side of the table body, and the entire table can be configured compactly. Moreover, a space can be provided under the table, and the lower space can be effectively used.
- the subject is a folding table capable of moving the table main body to a use position and a storage position
- the table frame is disposed inside the table main body and supports the table main body.
- a support member that rotatably supports the table frame on one end side, and a connection position between the support member and the table frame, and holds the table frame in a use position to rotate the table frame.
- Locking means for preventing movement comprising: a first engagement member having an engagement groove; and a second engagement member that is detachable from the engagement groove of the first engagement member.
- An engagement member; and a lock urging unit wherein the first engagement member and the second engagement member are configured to be detachable by moving either one, and the lock urging unit. Is movable Be biased in a direction to engage the engagement member, it is solved by.
- the locking means for preventing the rotation of the table frame is provided at the connection position between the support member and the table frame, and the first engagement member, the engagement groove formed in the first engagement member, A second engaging member that can be engaged and disengaged, and is configured to be disengageable by moving either one of the first engaging member or the second engaging member, and further, a lock urging means is provided. Since the movable engagement member of the first engagement member and the second engagement member is biased in the direction of engagement with the engagement groove, the first engagement member and the second engagement member are biased. The locking and unlocking of the engaging member is performed at the connecting position between the supporting member and the table frame, and the link supporting the table main body and the member of the locking means are not exposed to the lower side of the table main body like the conventional folding table.
- the locking means can be configured to be accommodated in the table body.
- the lock means By providing the lock means at the connecting position between the support member and the table frame, the lock means can be accommodated in the table body, and the members constituting the lock means are not exposed to the lower side of the table body.
- the table frame includes a substantially flat main frame and a sub frame that are assembled to face each other, and at least a part of the locking means includes the main frame and the sub frame. It is preferable to be sandwiched between them.
- the table frame can be made thinner, smaller, and lighter by sandwiching a part of the locking means between the frame that is assembled with the substantially flat main frame and the sub frame facing each other.
- the first engagement member and the second engagement member are formed of a plate body, and the engagement groove is formed in a plate thickness direction of the first engagement member. It is more preferable that the second engagement member is formed so as to penetrate therethrough and is inserted into the engagement groove and engaged in a direction orthogonal to the first engagement member.
- the first engaging member and the second engaging member are configured by plates, and the second engaging member is inserted into the engaging groove in a direction orthogonal to the first engaging member and is engaged.

- the engagement groove has a height from the groove bottom of the inner wall surface on the opposite side to the slidable contact surface on which the end of the second engagement member moves in slidable contact with the inner wall surface on the slidable contact surface side. Since the height is larger than the height from the groove bottom and extends outward, the second engagement member is engaged along the outer peripheral surface when the table is moved from the storage position to the use position. When moving in the groove direction and coming into contact with the extended inner wall surface, the movement is stopped and the engagement groove is fitted. That is, one inner wall surface of the engagement groove functions as a stopper for the second engagement member when the table is moved from the storage position to the use position. Therefore, the stopper of the second engaging member can be provided without using another member, and the number of parts can be reduced.
- the apparatus further comprises a table urging means for urging the table frame in the storage position direction.
- a table urging means for urging in the storage position direction is provided, the engagement of the second engagement member is released from the engagement groove of the first engagement member and the lock is released.
- the table main body including the table frame can be easily and smoothly moved from the use position to the storage position by the pulling force of the table urging means in the storage position direction and the weight of the table main body. Further, when the table is stored, the storage state can be reliably held and rattling can be prevented. Furthermore, when the table body is expanded from the storage position to the use position, it is possible to prevent a sudden load from being applied, and the operability and durability are improved.
- the support member is formed of a pipe member, and the main frame and the sub frame are rotatably attached to the support member with the pipe member interposed therebetween, It is preferable that end portions of the subframes on the side sandwiching the support member are connected by hemming caulking.
- Such a configuration eliminates the need to separately use a connecting member between the table frame and the support member and a connecting member between the main frame and the subframe, thereby reducing the number of parts and facilitating the mounting of the table frame.
