Claims (12)
- 다수의 열교환기들을 가지고 있는 다수의 전지셀 어셈블리들; 및다수의 전지셀 어셈블리들과 작동가능하게 연결된 제 1 냉각 매니폴드(cooling manifold)를 포함하고,상기 제 1 냉각 매니폴드는 매니폴드부와 커버 플레이트를 포함하고 있고, 상기 매니폴드부는 외주벽(peripheral wall), 외주벽에 결합되는 후면벽(rear wall), 및 유로 전환기(flow diverter)를 가지고 있으며, 상기 외주벽은 유입구(inlet aperture)가 연장되어 있는 상단부를 가지고 있고, 상기 후면벽은 그것을 통해 연장되어 있는 다수의 배출구를 가지고 있으며, 상기 커버 플레이트는 후면벽과 대향하는 외주벽에 결합되어 있고, 상기 유로 전환기는 후면벽으로부터 연장되어 있고 유입구 하부에 위치하고 있으며, 상기 유입구로부터 유체를 수용하여, 다수의 전지셀 어셈블리들의 냉각을 위해, 각각의 배출구를 통한 각각의 열교환기로의 유체의 유량(flow rate)이 실질적으로 동일하도록 유체를 전환하도록 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 유로 전환기는 서로 이격되어 있는 다수의 그루브들(grooves)을 갖는 제 1 플레이트를 포함하고 있고, 다수의 그루브들은 후면벽에 인접한 제 1 플레이트의 단부로부터 커버 플레이트를 향해 연장되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 매니폴드부와 커버 플레이트는 모두 플라스틱으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 다수의 열교환기로부터 유체를 수용하도록 구성되어 있는 제 2 냉각 매니폴드를 더 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 각각의 배출구를 통한 유체의 유량은 최초 유량(first flow rate)의 ±5% 이내인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 각각의 전지셀 어셈블리는 전지셀을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 전지모듈의 냉각 방법으로서, 전지모듈은 다수의 전지셀 어셈블리들과 제 1 냉각 매니폴드를 가지고 있고, 상기 다수의 전지셀 어셈블리들은 다수의 열교환기들을 가지고 있으며,유체를 제 1 냉각 매니폴드 내로 전달하는 과정;유체의 실질적으로 동일한 유량이 제 1 냉각 매니폴드를 통해 연장된 다수의 배출구 각각에서 얻어지도록, 유로 전환기를 이용하여 제 1 냉각 매니폴드 내에서 유체를 전환하는 과정; 및다수의 전지셀 어셈블리들을 냉각하기 위해 각각의 배출구로부터 각각의 열교환기 내로 유체를 전달하는 과정;을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 각각의 배출구를 통한 유체의 유량은 최초 유량의 ±5% 이내인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 전지모듈용 냉각 매니폴드로서, 상기 전지모듈은 다수의 전지셀 어셈블리들을 가지고 있고,외주벽, 상기 외주벽에 연결된 후면벽, 및 유로 전환기를 포함하고 있는 매니폴드부로서, 상기 외주벽은 연장되어 있는 유입구를 포함하는 상단부를 가지고 있고, 상기 후면벽은 그것을 통해 연장된 다수의 배출구들을 가지고 있으며, 상기 유로 전환기는 후면벽으로부터 연장되어 있고 유입구 하부에 위치하고 있으며, 상기 유로 전환기는 유입구로부터 유체를 수용하여, 각각의 전지셀 어셈블리에 대해 실질적으로 동일한 유량의 유체가 각각의 배출구에서 얻어지도록 유체를 전환하도록 구성되어 있는 매니폴드부; 및상기 후면벽에 대향하는 매니폴드부의 외주벽에 연결되는 커버 플레이트;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈용 냉각 매니폴드.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 유로 전환기는 서로 이격되어 있는 다수의 그루브들을 가지고 있는 제 1 플레이트를 포함하고 있고, 다수의 그루브들은 후면벽에 인접한 제 1 플레이트의 단부로부터 커버 플레이트를 향해 연장되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 매니폴드.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 매니폴드부와 커버 플레이트는 모두 플라스틱으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 매니폴드.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 각각의 배출구를 통한 유량은 최초 유량의 ±5% 이내인 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 매니폴드.
